However, rice is charged separately, so be aware. The taste is pretty good. It's not amazing, but it's still pretty good. The boss is very nice and the waiters are also very enthusiastic.

Although far from the tourist area, it was certainly a wonderful discovery. We tasted two starters and two main courses. Strong flavors but at the same time well balanced. I came for a physical examination nearby and accidentally found this Chinese restaurant nearby, so I came over. The service attitude was very good. I ordered Yangchun noodles for my baby, which were not on the menu, and they could also make them. There were also children's tableware, which was very considerate. I ordered it. The food was delicious but the portion sizes were disappointing. The Spitzkohl was ridiculous to be frank - 15 EUR for what seemed like half of plate of what you’d normally get (also in higher end restaurants) and we didn’t even get rice to it (we had to ask for it). It wa tasty but fell like rip off tbh.

It is a cute restaurant located on a very quiet street. The service is very nice and the waitress was extremely cheerful and polite. The service is also very quick. They have great cocktails and plus the tea have a free refill option. The starters seemed a bit expensive for the amount. We ordered the spring onion pancake which was quite thin pan cake with lot of dough but quite less spring onion. This was a bit different from what I expected. The main dish I ordered was veggie mapo tofu which was great. However a bit more rice with it would be great. The other main dish we ordered was noodles made of tofu skin. The concept was great and quantity was decent. But the price of the dish being nearly 21 euros was a bit too high. Overall nice place but a bit expensive for quantity and taste offered.

Xiaolongbao 8€, four are very small and not tasty. Ground pot chicken has no special characteristics and tastes the same as braised chicken. Also ordered shredded pork with Beijing sauce. The shredded meat is very small and can be scooped out in two spoons. Overall, the taste doesn't match the price.

Fancy a culinary journey through China? You can get that right here in the middle of Schwabing. In a beautiful atmosphere you can try out various specialties from different regions of China. We didn't have the lotus roots filled with pork and were thrilled. But the xiaolongbao with a fine broth are also impressive. Our highlight, however, was the steamed scallops with glass noodles in a lovely garlic sauce. As a finale there was a crispy Peking duck which, like all the other dishes, is perfect for sharing. We had a really nice evening and the super friendly team is always available to answer any questions you may have. Take a look for yourself and see for yourself.

The food was very good and certainly more authentic than many other Chinese restaurants. The staff was very friendly but completely disorganized. Each bowl was served individually and the waitress didn't want to take orders from two tables in a row without going to the kitchen in between. The ambience is pleasant with a feel-good factor. Also because the typical kitsch of other Chinese restaurants was avoided.

The environment is very good, there is a bar, bartending, and the dishes are quite diverse. The Northeastern ground pot chicken tastes good, and there are also many Sichuan dishes, which are not particularly spicy. The overall taste is good, and the taste is slightly heavy. The best Xiaolong Bao (there's soup inside, magical) in Munich for sure~ The Peking Duck and Jingjiang Rousi are also very authentic and highly recommended, you can't miss them in Munich. A really delicious and “real” Chinese restaurant~ ☆ Ps. Green tea is also great, great for the throat!~♡

One of our favourite restaurants and we have been going there regularly for years. The food is always delicious with hard-to-find unusual regional variations and the menu gets new additions all the time. The owner is an exceedingly kind person and always happy to help with recommendations. The restaurant is definitely the place to go, if you want to try high-end unusual Chinese food.

The first warning sign we should have noticed was a completely empty restaurant at 12:30, but after we were told that this was a real insider tip, we didn't let that fact fool us! Now the embarrassment really started... A waiter or barman or just a supervisor who had to stand in the shop because there was no one else there definitely couldn't speak a word of German and the bottle of carbonated water I ordered came wrong twice, even with a simple meal order of a starter and two main courses was felt here 10 minutes written down on a piece of paper, I thought I was in the wrong film 🤦🏽‍♂️ Then the food came, I ordered: marinated sea bass and we got dry and fried fish Not good in taste!!! The duck in curry sauce was okay but that should be yours after being the most expensive in Schwabing! So it's incomprehensible how such restaurants can survive in 2024, especially if there had been two or three more tables, then the poor man would be completely overwhelmed So maybe we had a bad day but still, the rest wasn't really convincing either

The food is okay but the service is just super slow. It’s horrible. We are sharing some dishes during Chinese New Year’s Eve, and the service is just really chaos. We have to wait for 20 mins to finally get our drinks, and then one dish comes out, next dish come in the next half hour, another in the next half hour. The kitchen and the servers were so totally overwhelmed. You could’ve been more prepared from our reservations to know how many people will come at which time. Will never come back again.

Review of Le Voyage Restaurant, Munich During my recent visit to Munich, I decided to dine at Le Voyage, influenced by its listing on The Fork. Expecting a culinary delight, my experience was a mix of satisfaction and surprise, particularly regarding the pricing. Culinary Excellence with a Price Mismatch The cuisine at Le Voyage was indeed remarkable. The Dim Sum, for instance, was an absolute treat, offering a burst of authentic flavors that genuinely stood out. The overall culinary quality was high, matching my expectations of a fine dining experience in Munich. However, the primary point of contention was the noticeable discrepancy between the prices listed on The Fork and the actual menu at the restaurant. A significant difference was observed in the pricing of beers and main courses. Items listed for around 16 euros on The Fork were priced between 24 to 32 euros at the restaurant. This disparity was not just marginal but considerably steep, making the dining experience more expensive than initially anticipated. Financial Reflections Had I ordered everything planned based on The Fork’s prices, my bill would have ranged between 90 to 120 euros. However, adjusting to the actual prices at Le Voyage, I ended up spending around 70 to 80 euros for a meal initially budgeted at 50 euros. This unexpected hike in prices felt a bit misleading and detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. Atmosphere and Ambiance On a positive note, the ambiance of Le Voyage added to the dining experience. The restaurant’s charming and elegant setting provided a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment, complementing the quality of the food. The food was delicious and very well presented. We ordered the steamed fish and chinese vegetable dish. Everything was good but recommended not to take the fish if you're not a fan of garlic because there was so much of them. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Ich war an Silvester mit einer Freundin bei Le Voyage und wir waren absolut begeistert! Das Essen war super lecker und vielfältig und der Service war so herzlich! Wir kommen sicher wieder und ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Das Restaurant stand schon lange auf der Liste meines Mannes, so wollten wir seinen Geburtstag hier feiern. Zu Beginn war alles ok, wir wurden darauf hingewiesen dass die Dim Sum zwanzig Minuten brauchen, was ein Zeichen von Qualität ist. Mein Essen, vegetarisch, war gut, das Fleisch bei meinem Sohn, Rind, sehr fettig und wabbelig in der Konsistenz. Zur Feier wollte mein Mann, der fast zwei Jahrzehnte als Barkeeper in renommierten Läden arbeitet, einen simplen Gib Fizz bestellen. Die Order dauerte fast zehn Minuten und ihm wurde ein Glas gebracht, das mit etwas Schaumigen überlief. Was dann passierte war einfach nur lächerlich: mein Mann reklamierte den Drink und fragte den waiter was da drin sei. Er antwortete Milch, was in einem Gib Fizz klassisch überhaupt nichts zu suchen hat. Zitrone und Milch??? Anstatt sich zu entschuldigen fing der waiter an mit meinem Mann zu diskutieren. Letztendlich hatten wir keinen Lust mehr drauf und mein Mann bestellte als Ersatz einen Gin Tonic der nie ankam. Auf der Rechnung stand dann in der Tat der gin fizz für knapp 14€. Mein Mann reklamiert, die Bedienung macht uns an, dass wir den Drink bestellt hätten und ihn deswegen auch zahlen müssen. Unsere Antwort, dass der Drink schlichtweg falsch war, interessierte sie nicht und sie faselte irgendetwas von Barkeeper Schule und wir wüssten nicht wovon wir sprechen. Der Ersatz Gin Tonic kam nie an übrigens. Als wir dann gingen keine Verabschiedung noch irgendetwas. Absolute Unverschämtheit, wir sind easy relaxte Kunden, aber irgendwo hört sich der Spaß einfach auf. Null Sterne und absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Tolles Essen, super Personal insgesamt top. Das Menü ist gut gestaltet und alle probieren Speisen haben gut bis sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service ist super und sehr nett und die Atmosphäre insgesamt ist angenehm. Ich werde nochmal hingehen.

Wir waren zu 8 mit Freunden in Restaurant und konnten so einiges ausprobieren. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker! vor allem den Fisch (Achtung! sehr viel Knoblauch) und den geschmorten Schweinebauch kann ich sehr empfehlen!

Montag in München und fast alle chinesischen Lieblingslokale in der näheren Umgebung haben geschlossen. Wir hatten aber so große Lust auf Dim Sum und sind durch Zufall auf das Le Voyage gekommen. Bei dem Namen hätte ich tatsächlich keine chinesische Küche erwartet. Im Nachhinein muss ich sagen, dass wir so froh sind, dieses Restaurant besucht zu haben. Bereits am Telefon war die Kommunikation sehr freundlich. Die Parkplatzsuche war - wie erwartet - etwas tricky, aber wir hatten Glück. Das Ambiente hat uns auf Anhieb gefallen und wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und zu unserem Platz geleitet. Die Speisekarte hat eine perfekte Größe, nicht so überladen, wie man es sonst kennt. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine kleine Extra-Karte und auch noch spezielle Tagesgerichte (danach sollte man unbedingt fragen). Wir wollten uns gerne einen kleinen Überblick verschaffen und haben daher 4 verschiedene Dim Sum (alle hausgemacht) bestellt und einmal Rindfleisch mit Kümmel und gedünsteten Wolfsbarsch. Alle Dim Sum sind ein kleiner Traum gewesen. Wobei mich die gedämpften Wantan in einer "leicht" scharfen Suppe komplett aus den Socken gehauen haben. Habe ich noch nie so gut gegessen. Aber auch alle anderen sind richtig gut gewesen. Das Rindfleisch mit Kümmel war sehr, sehr lecker, aber selbst für 1 Chilischote schon gut scharf. Der Wolfsbarsch war eine Sensation! So was von lecker und zart. Ganz tolle Qualität. Der Service war die ganze Zeit sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Da hier frisch gekocht wird, dauert das eine oder andere Gericht auch mal ein paar Minuten, aber darauf wird man dann hingewiesen. Könnte ich 6 Sterne vergeben, würde ich es hier tun. Freue mich bereits jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Habe da schon ein paar Gerichte, die ich gerne probieren möchte.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and I came again this time. We ordered the Chinese cauliflower, hotpot chicken, and Shuizhu Yu. The Chinese cauliflower was delicious, the hotpot chicken was a generous portion and tasted very authentic. The spiciness of the boiled fish was just right, and my friend loved it! The hostess and the waitress are very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back next time.

Hatte Essen Chicken süß-sauer zur Abholung bestellt. War leider nur Fleisch mit Reis und wenig Soße, ohne jedes Gemüse. Schmeckte nur scharf, war aber gerade noch akzeptabel. Auch wegen des nicht angemessen Abholpreises von knapp 20€ abgewertet. Was nützt eine sehr große Portion, wenn sie geschmacklich nicht überzeugt. Service war aber freundlich.

Food below average, over priced, but massive proportions. Not recommended.

Das Restaurant ist sehr stilvoll und schön eingerichtet. Der Service war zuvorkommen und schnell. Ich habe eine Intoleranz, mit der beim Bestellen verständnis- und rücksichtsvoll umgegangen wurde. Die Ente Thai Curry war frisch zubereitet und sehr sehr lecker. Mit die beste Ente, die ich je gegessen habe.

Besucht als Pärchen. Service war gut, Speisen waren vergleichsweise authentisch. Leider waren die Preise jedoch recht hoch. Wir bestellten die Lotuswurzeln 荷香藕夹 (105) und die Mala Bowl 麻辣香锅 (405). Der Service wurde größtenteils von chinesischem Personal erbracht, aber es gab auch deutsche Angestellte. Die Bedienung war schnell und effizient, und es gibt kaum etwas zu bemängeln. (5/5) Das Essen hatte einen guten Hauch von Authentizität, war aber nicht zu 100% authentisch. Die Mala Bowl war nicht so scharf, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Als Chinesen hätten wir bei der Angabe von 3 Chilisymbolen eine höhere Schärfe erwartet. (4/5) Die Lotuswurzeln hatten einen eher milden Geschmack, sodass man sie in die Soße eintauchen musste, die dann auch nur das äußere gewürzt hat. In China würden die Gewürze bereits in die Füllung eingearbeitet. Hier wurde vermutlich bewusst milder gewürzt, um den deutschen Gästen eher zu entsprechen. (3/5) Zum Ambiente kann ich leider kaum etwas sagen, da wir die ganze Zeit draußen gesessen haben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis erschien mir etwas unausgewogen. Man kann die Mala Bowl auch zu Hause mit einer Fertig-Gewürzmischung von Go Asia zubereiten und dabei weniger als ein Fünftel des Preises ausgeben. Die Lotuswurzeln konnten uns bei den Preisen leider nicht überzeugen. (1/5) Insgesamt würde ich Le Voyage denen empfehlen, die als Deutsche in die chinesische Küche einsteigen möchten.
