Ledu Happy Dumplings in München

Came here for a late lunch. Dumplings were fantastic! Wonderful find!

I tried the "Redbull" dumplings and the "Mango-Matcha Mochi". Both of them were amazing, you can see that is homemade and that they pay attention to the freshness! Everyone should go here who loves dumplings! The prices and the quality are spot on! :))

Very tasty food with a reasonable price 🤤👍🏽 However, 10 pieces were not enough for how hungry I was. We only discovered afterwards that XXL (1.5 portions) was available to order 👍🏽 Attention, don't make a reservation☝🏽

I've never expected such good service at a snack bar! The young waiter does his work so attentively and gives all his passionate attention to the customers. For food, LeDu Special is the best!

Too long waiting time, they said I’d get it in 15mins but even after 25mins it wasn’t ready!

Just a simple dumpling place and that’s exactly what you want. They stay open quite late and dumplings are delicious. I don’t think they are in any way super special but they definitely do the job and that’s what I expected. My girlfriend and I split 10 veggie steamed dumplings and it was enough for us (we were not that hungry). Very nice surprise was peanut sauce. Also staff was friendly happy to recommend. Definitely check it out if you are in that area

Super delicious food with a great selection of dumplings! The dishes are always fresh and taste really great. However, prices have risen a bit recently, which is a bit of a shame, but the quality is still good. If you like Asian dumplings, you should definitely stop by here!

Visited last week. Ordered chicken dumplings and Ledu special dumplings. The taste was amazing with good service. Mochis were awesome. Overall very good experience with at a reasonable cost. Would love to visit here again

Food is very good taste-wise, you just have to find the dumpling you like. Edamame are a very decent portion (meant for sharing). The waiter was friendly.

Plus: - Taste great. - Service is friendly and polite. - Food is served very quickly. Minus: - The seating is quite tight, but it's not a problem for a quick lunch break. - The portions are not big. Regularly 10 dumplings are served (11.90€), XXL (+ 5.50€) are 15 dumplings. At least I don't get full from the regular portion. - I find the price increase from €8.90 to €11.90 within two years crazy - with all understanding for Corona, inflation and the like, that's over 30 percent. That's too high for a portion that will barely fill you up and there are better options in the area. So I rarely come anymore. Unfortunately.

It was very slow. I ordered a plate of dumplings in total, but after waiting for 20 minutes, they still didn't come. Everyone around me had finished eating, but mine hadn't been served yet. I don’t know if it’s a racist or something... I’m really angry that I came here because it was raining. If you have other options, please avoid this restaurant. Maybe I want to do business with locals... but it would be stupid to give up Chinese as a Chinese restaurant

I ordered something to take away this soon and they gave me this. Like someone already took a bite of the dumplings. Just gross. Also the service is awful with an awful attitude. Would not recommend it.

I found Ledu special and Korean cheese delicious. My friend liked Mala new, but I didn't. Neither of us would order tasty beef and hot chicken again. The best thing is to try all the dumplings once and find what you like best. I didn't see any toilet there. They don't take table reservations.

Dumplings: Ledu classic, pork and shrimp flavor It tastes good and the portion is plenty! I originally thought I would not be full after eating 10 pieces, but in the end I felt full after eating it. Unfortunately, some shrimp shells were found during the eating process. The staff needs to be more careful in handling them, otherwise it will be dangerous to eat them by mistake⚠️ But overall the dumplings are really delicious!

The fried dumplings are delicious and the fillings are plenty. But ten at a time may still be a little bit full, which is a pity.

If you like dumplings, give this place a try. This is a cool little eatery that is specialised in home-made style dumplings. The food looks good, however, I find that most of their dumplings are somewhat mild/bland for my taste. Their special ones are really good though. Also, the wait can be a bit long during peak times despite the small size of the place.

The dumplings were ok. It tasted like typical dumplings that are available anywhere in Europe but not anything like you get in a proper Chinese place. The place inside wasn’t really clean for my standard and the menu card was dirty.

There is a large selection of very tasty dumplings here (10 different types). You can also order a mixed plate so you can try them all. You can also choose between fried and steamed. The prices are very fair, the service is good and the employees are very friendly.

Very tasty dumplings that are served quickly and without much fanfare. The restaurant looks more like a fast food restaurant as there are only two long tables for 10 people each and a few high tables along the wall. If that doesn't bother you, you can eat well and quickly here. Price-performance is good.

There are some vegan/vegetarian options on the menu; We chose the “pure vegan” & “colorful vegi” dumplings 🥟 and ordered them steamed in a bamboo basket. For dessert there was sticky rice with bean paste. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious, flavorful, wholesome and priced absolutely right. The service was very friendly, attentive & accommodating. Even though the smaller store was full, we received our food relatively quickly. So big recommendation; We would be happy to come to ours. Munich visit again. 😀

Unfortunately, disappointing visit… The good reviews from Google are not understandable. But there are bad reviews about the service. The service should also be adjusted somewhat to the current prices. I don't expect much but you should at least feel welcome and not be greeted with annoyed looks (there wasn't much going on in the restaurant at the moment). For some inexplicable reason, the price of €11.90 became €12.90 when I paid. When I asked, there was no explanation - I had vegetarian dumplings and a friend with meat filling only had to pay €11.90, as stated on the menu. In the end: unfriendly service, taste ok, unfortunately disappointing in terms of price. Maybe someone here can explain the price increase to me...

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was simply magnificent! Despite its small size, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made any waiting time worthwhile. The food was exceptional; every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. If you find yourself in Munich, this restaurant is an absolute must-try!

When you enter, if you are not German they treat you like a second-class person or like a dog, so the Germans go first and then the others. I recommend not going.

Had mixed vegetarian dumplings - all types extremely tasty, especially the ones filled with Korean cheese. The peanut sauce and the edamame are also very tasty, bright green and crunchy!

Dumplings are good. The lady who waits should best not wait. She's very strange and doesn't understand a lot of things. It's best to have someone who can get along with customers? My friend accidentally ordered two portions and realized 10 minutes later that that might be too much. She wanted to cancel it, but the lady said that it couldn't be canceled anymore. That's not nice at all and you can cancel it as a gesture of goodwill, as it's done that way everywhere. As if you couldn't get rid of the dumplings in this crowded shop at lunchtime or give them to someone else. Above all, she didn't point out to my friend that 2 portions were too much.

Haven't been there for a long time and still delicious. The colorful mix (a little bit of everything) is the best way to get to know the different dumplings from Ledu.

Mega delicious dumplings & mochi

Mega delicious vegan and vegetarian dumplings! An absolute dream, I love coming here. The last time we had to wait 20 minutes for a seat (we waited outside) and we weren't really told when something became available, but the food was a very good compensation.

I didn't like it that much...The dumplings were a bit tasteless, especially the ones with meat. The dessert of sticky rice with filling was too hard and didn't taste good. I thought the Motchis were quite ok. Otherwise the price is right. The atmosphere is rather simple but it is cheaper.

I took some dumplings to go and they looked soggy when I started eating them and tasted raw. I got food poisoning on the same day. Don't know whether you should avoid take out or just their kitchen in general.

As a group of 2, we had the spicy beef dumpling and the other beef dumpling with ginger in it, both were very tasty. We then finished off with a yellow curry chicken dumpling, which was good but in my opinion not as good as the beef ones. Definitely recommended

Wenn man Dumplings mag dann wirst du diese lieben. Preis Leistung unglaublich. Vielleicht nicht das schönste lokal aber zum Essen gehen und Dumplings oder andere Speisen genießen einfach nur genial. Danke

Waren schon öfter hier essen - sogar an manchen Feiertagen haben sie geöffnet…jedes mal super freundlicher Service. Hatten ein Getränk bestellt, hatten wir nicht bekommen war aber nicht so schlimm, zu dem Zeitpunkt war der Laden sehr voll. Haben 2 mal gedämpfte und 1 mal gebratene Dumplings bestellt, sie kamen leider nicht zu selben zeit. Dumplings sind jedoch jedes mal sehr lecker.

We ordered steamed pork dumplings and they were good, especially with the chili oil. Would like to try other flavors next time. It's a small place and it filled up pretty quickly during lunch hours.

Very good place for dumplings. The steamed ones are very juicy and flavourful, we tried 2 in chicken and 1 vegan/vegetarian. All of them were very good. Wish I tried the other options on the menu as well! It's very crowded on weekends and a small dining area but service was quick!

Very very small place but it has the best quality dumplings....had the the shrimp and pork with tasty beef. I recommend those two and the customer service was amazing. The guys really pay attention to your orders and make them very fresh

Im Ledu gibt es sehr leckere Dumplings (wie es der Name schon sagt). Die bunt gemischten Dumplings mit verschiedenen Füllungen sind definitiv empfehlenswert. Besonders, wenn man sich nicht entscheiden kann. Das Ambiente ist sehr süß, schlicht und klein.

Ein Muss für jeden Dumpling Fan kann man empfehlen.

Exzellente Dumplings in vielen Variationen. Unterschiedliche Fleischfüllungen und eine leckere kleine vegane Auswahl - alles nach Teigfarbe auch super markiert. Trotz viel Kundschaft am Freitagmittag in Uninähe wurden sie schnell und freundlich serviert. Einziges Manko ist, dass man im kleinen Laden nicht immer garantiert einen Platz kriegt, aber tendenziell werden die Plätze auch relativ schnell wieder frei.

Ledu does not disappoint. They had an amazing vegan / plant based dumpling. And it’s really close to City center. I was working at WeWork / Siemens HQ and it was super solid. They had this peanut sauce which I doused on everything. And also the hot oil wasn’t bad. It wasn’t too spicy, but had a great heat. 100% would recommend. I think i paid 10€ for 10 dumpos.
