Ciao Napoli in München

We had an amazing experience at Ciao Napoli. We ordered the truffle bread to start and three pizzas for our mains — hands down the best food we’ve had in Munich! Everything was packed with flavor and made with care. A special mention to Harry, the restaurant manager, who was incredibly polite and professional. He managed a very busy restaurant with ease and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We were craving pizza pretty late (around 11 PM) and noticed this place was still open. The place was full when we arrived though, so we ordered everything to-go. We got three pizzas: Salami, Funghi, and Pesto. All of them were great! Neapolitan style (not usually my favorite) but I really enjoyed it here. The crust was excellent and the flavors were spot on. We also grabbed the truffle cheese bread appetizer with dips, which was super tasty and a great addition. The pizzas weren’t small either, definitely filling and satisfying. Would definitely come back if I’m nearby, especially for a late-night bite.

The pizzas are super tasty, but actually small. There are only a few seats inside and it's really small/cramped. Our “service” was very, very quick. We had 2 pizzas and 3 drinks for two. After an hour we were constantly asked if we wanted to order anything else and after 1:45 hours we were asked to pay. And a tip is still expected for that 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ some restaurants give you fixed time slots when you make the reservation and then it's okay if I have to leave at 8:30 p.m., but that wasn't the case with my reservation. My pizza was very tasty, but based on my experience I don't know whether I'll go there again.

The best pizza I have ever eaten in my life and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is amazing.

Pizza & salat very good (5*). Tables way too small for two normal dinner plates. In general, difficult to be comfortably inside this tight restaurant (2*). Toilets nice and clear.

I don't know when I last ate such a great pizza in Germany. The crust was as fluffy as I've rarely experienced, yet the outside was still nice and crispy. Really, really good, and for Munich, the price is really great!

Waited over an hour for food for a pizza that didn't taste particularly good either. Specials from the waiter are usually preferred.

Ciao Napoli has become my favorite restaurant for Neapolitan pizzas. It has an extensive menu with many vegan and vegetarian options. We ordered pizza burrata and the large salad. The pizza dough was fluffy and very aromatic. The tomato sauce also tasted excellent and was in a great proportion to the base. Then the rocket and the burrata - a dream! The salad had a great dressing and there was warm, fluffy bread with which you could eat up the dressing. There is also a large seating area outside, where you can sit outside in the summer with a spritz and a delicious pizza. The prices are also very reasonable. The only drawback: Since the door was mostly open, it was a little cold inside. You would have to make sure that it stays closed and is not open so that you can sit without a jacket. Overall I give it a 5/5, I really enjoyed it.

The pizzas were super tasty. The dough was super soft. Were more than satisfied. The shop is nicely and comfortably furnished, just a bit cramped for the neighboring table. The service was very satisfactory.

Comparable to the pizzas we ate on our vacation in Sicily. Very generously topped, taste great and also the consistency of the dough. The facility is rather small and less cozy, but that also has its own flair, as the entire atmosphere is friendly, harmonious and inviting. Definitely recommended in my opinion.

Very nice restaurant, saw it on Insta and really wanted to eat here. The pizzas arrived super quickly (we really didn't wait long) and tasted great too. The dough is simply awesome.

Went there spontaneously with 3 people at the weekend. Great atmosphere, great music, great food (best pizza dough), perfect service.

The evening at Ciao Napoli was impeccable! The pizza, made by Europe's best pizza maker, was very tasty - the dough and tomato sauce were unique! The pana cotta was also sensational! Best pizza in Munich :) loved it a lot! Absolute recommendation: take the truffle bread as an Appetizer!!!! Honestly I was in heaven! The Pizza is also so delicious, the dough and the toppings were so good, and you can order dips to use for the pizza edges. The panacotta and tiramisu were delicious, too! Will be back!

One of the best pizza you can eat in Munich. Antipasti were also good. Our highlight was the pizza mortadella with pistachios

Out of the world pizza. Great quality, perfect cozy atmosphere. Nice selection of the music. And on top of everything, nicest staff ever. It’s a great experience both the food and the atmosphere. Reservations needed specially on the weekends. Loved it!

Excellent italian restaurant and Food in Schwabing. The menu includes great Pizzas, Insallata, Trüffel Bread, etc. Recommended for the italian Taste! Restaurant has limited tables and space inside so you should pre-book!

Fantastic pizza and the staff is just as amazing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering. I had the pesto pizza and added burrata and my boy friend had a meat pizza with burrata. We both loved our choices and appreciate the staff for making this a highlight of our trip to Munich. Check them out!

The food was definitely great. The pizza is recommended to everyone. Above all, the dough is super soft. The somewhat negative rating is based on the poor service from the staff. The wrong drink was brought, and when we asked if the pizza could be cut into two halves, this was dismissed with a “you can do it yourself”. When paying, something seemed to be wrong with the card machine. After several attempts, people aggressively yelled at me that the card had been held incorrectly. When asked whether it had worked, the answer was an annoyed look and silence. Not recommended

10/10 Neapolitan pizza at fair prices. Great service. What more could you want?

In my opinion the pizzas are great, but unfortunately the restaurant is quite small and cramped.

I love coming here for Neapolitan pizza. The pizza dough is incredible. Though the selections of the toppings aren’t wide, but they all are really good. The atmosphere is like a bar - very chic. Love it!

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. We got two pizzas to take away for lunch, which unfortunately were the smallest pizzas we've ever seen. Even though a pizza Napoletana is traditionally smaller, these were exceptionally tiny. The pizza dough was not pulled apart properly and therefore neither particularly fluffy nor convincing in consistency.

Great location! 🔥 Pizza is by far the best in Munich! 🍕 Celebrated my birthday in a small group. As I said, pizza was really great and we also got a tiramisu on the house. Staff very friendly and entertaining. Highly recommended😍

The pizza was extremely delicious and was served after just 10 minutes - the dough was simply perfect. Unfortunately, the music was too loud, which made the atmosphere more reminiscent of a bar than a restaurant. My girlfriend and I sometimes had to raise our voices a lot to understand each other well. Maybe the music could be turned down a little? ☺️

In my opinion the best pizza in Munich😍 Especially the idea with the dips for the pizza crust is mega! Super relaxed and cozy atmosphere, nice staff and the perfect selection of different pizzas. It's a small shop, but you can watch the pizza being topped and baked from your seat. Will definitely come back again and again!

The best Neapolitan pizza in Munich! Four of us came, the preparation in the traditional oven is very quick, and above all the pizzas are excellent! The crust is exceptional 🤌 Also, the server/manager is very welcoming. I recommend!

We eat excellent pizza. Too bad that on the menu it says "Moretti vom Fass" (on tap) and the waiter opened the glass bottles of Moretti and poured them into the glass. Here I felt cheated, moreover I also left a 10% tip despite this incredible fall in style... The environment is nice if you are outside, inside it is very chaotic and small, it is quite cramped.

Very tasty pizza, top quality ingredients, cool service. the only imperfection is the pizza dough, after cooling down it gets a bit chewy. Little bit expensive.

I was there alone on a Sunday evening and got a table straight away. For me there was a wheat beer from Hopf, which tasted delicious. With the beer we had the Salsiccia pizza, which was highly recommended by the landlord. The pizza was delicious, nice and crunchy and the fior di latte rounded it all off wonderfully! It's a nice and cute restaurant with lots of seating. The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the English Garden and after eating offers the opportunity to visit one of the countless bars nearby and end the evening there or take an evening walk in the English Garden. The visit will not be the last! Keep it up!

Personally, I didn't like it. I got parmesan on the Fungi pizza, even though I didn't order it and it wasn't on the menu. Since I don't like parmesan, I thought the pizza was very bad. Service is slow, unfriendly and lost. I'm sorry, but there is another way.

Was here visiting the other night alone on a trip. Food was excellent, but I was more impressed by the staff. Harry, my waiter, was excellent and very helpful to me as a non-German speaking tourist. Delicious pizza and good service!

For me it has the potential to be a 5/5 but for me there are a few craftsmanship errors. The Parmesan on the Margherita dominates the entire flavor and is significantly worse. The pesto pizza comes with commercially available Barilla or similar pesto, which is not tolerated in the amount used (far too much salt) and is also not common. A homemade, lighter basil pesto is missing here, which goes well with pizza and is how it is also served in Italy.

I thought it was okay. The pizza was very tasty, but the music was extremely loud, it was tiring to have a conversation. but at least the pizza was pre-cut, that's not the case everywhere.

Great pizza spot in a location with lots of other bars and restaurants. Has a nice sitting area for outside. I ordered a small salad and the salami pizza. Overall it was very good. The pizza was very cheesy and had good proportions of tomato and a thin soft crust.

Simply great, pizza tastes fantastic. But the service was even better. Totally nice waiter, we were seated outside as soon as a table was free and the dog was also welcome and given a water bowl.

Food was really tasty, unfortunately service could have been better :( The olive oil was thrown on the table and when we wanted to pay we were just shouted an unfriendly quick yes. This is normal when you're stressed, but not when there are 4 tables occupied and it's 5:30 p.m. But food and drinks came quickly!
