I've been coming here every time I'm in Weinheim for more than 7 years. The prices are very reasonable compared to the size of the portions, and the dishes were all very tasty. The food is fantastic, even when I switched to vegan 5 years ago, I was always able to eat delicious, good and cheap food here and had a lot of choice. On request, dishes could also be ordered as a veggie dish or spicier. The shop owner was always friendly and polite, how often did you sit in the restaurant in the evening and have a nice chat with him. Sometimes free desserts were also offered, as he was still “trying out” and considering offering sweet dishes at the time. But for months I've been standing in front of the closed door every time, and now I've read in an article that it's probably due to illness. Get well soon and all the best, I think Weinheim and the region have always enjoyed eating here. Hopefully the restaurant can open again soon!

Als Vorspeise die Bouillabaisse: ein riesiger Teller mit wenig Suppe; kein Vergleich mit einer guten Original- Bouillabaisse. Als Mini-Vorspeise und Null-Geschmackserlebnis für € 16,00. Original-Wienerschnitzel für € 31,00 ; gab es schon in besser. Beilage (Salat) mau. Der Schwäbische Zwiebelrostbraten (€ 32,00) sollte medium sein, war aber innen roh und am oberen Ende recht schwarz. Der gebratene Skrei (€ 29,00) war wenig und unspektakulär; die Beilage ebenso. Gott sei Dank bei gekochten Kartoffeln kann man nicht so viel falsch machen. Das schlimmste war das geschmorte Kalbsbäckchen (€ 32,00) mit glasierten Karotten und Erbsen. Dieselben Riesenkarottenstreifen waren auch in der Bouillabaisse. Der Kartoffelbrei war auf dem Teller nicht sichtbar und nahe null existent vor lauter Erbsen und Riesenkarottenstreifen, sprich es war alles miteinander zermanscht. Kalbsjus??? Die Getränkepreise waren auch entsprechend außerhalb eines normalen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses. Dieses Restaurant muss auf künftige Besuche von uns verzichten.

Döner plate with rice and a large kebab were very good. Leftovers would be given well packaged. You can also sit outside. 07/05/17 Update Got another kebab today. Tasted very good. It was even on sale today. 05/03/24 Update I have been a customer for many years now and am always very satisfied. My guests also enjoyed it. Today we had the wood-fired pizza Fantastica. Nice and crispy and well topped. :) 01/11/25 Update This year I really enjoyed the pizza again. All employees are always very friendly.

Definitely a recommendation!!! We found the restaurant online because we like to go somewhere else every now and then. It's bright, it's friendly and, despite the open space, cozy. The service was very friendly. The food was fresh and very tasty. We'll be back.

Some foods are really good, like the minestrone or the fish or the schnitzel. Pizza and Pasta I would say are more average, still pretty good. Very friendly service, especially with kids. Good spritz.

Ich möchte nur noch mal mitteilen das ich mit dem preisleistungsverhaltnis zu frieden bin natürlich ist es auch im caf e Hamilton teurer geworden aber wer selber einkaufen geht sieht es doch auch die Preise sind angestiegen das Essen ist immer noch ein Gedicht und der freundliche Service ist auch geblieben natürlich ist es im Winter nicht so Gut besucht wie im Sommer auf der schönen Terrasse aber das tut der Atmosphäre nicht weh

Yesterday a surprise party was organized for my 30th, it was left open until after midnight. Very nice atmosphere, extremely friendly waitress, everything was great. Very nice shop invites you to come back P.s. (That's probably the gin talking)
