Als Vorspeise die Bouillabaisse: ein riesiger Teller mit wenig Suppe; kein Vergleich mit einer guten Original- Bouillabaisse. Als Mini-Vorspeise und Null-Geschmackserlebnis für € 16,00. Original-Wienerschnitzel für € 31,00 ; gab es schon in besser. Beilage (Salat) mau. Der Schwäbische Zwiebelrostbraten (€ 32,00) sollte medium sein, war aber innen roh und am oberen Ende recht schwarz. Der gebratene Skrei (€ 29,00) war wenig und unspektakulär; die Beilage ebenso. Gott sei Dank bei gekochten Kartoffeln kann man nicht so viel falsch machen. Das schlimmste war das geschmorte Kalbsbäckchen (€ 32,00) mit glasierten Karotten und Erbsen. Dieselben Riesenkarottenstreifen waren auch in der Bouillabaisse. Der Kartoffelbrei war auf dem Teller nicht sichtbar und nahe null existent vor lauter Erbsen und Riesenkarottenstreifen, sprich es war alles miteinander zermanscht. Kalbsjus??? Die Getränkepreise waren auch entsprechend außerhalb eines normalen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses. Dieses Restaurant muss auf künftige Besuche von uns verzichten.

Unfortunately the quality is no longer what it used to be. Very unfortunate. The burgers were ordered medium and they were all well done. One burger was so dry that we complained. Unfortunately well done again, but at least this time not so dry. The cheese fries came almost without cheese, complaints were unsuccessful, there were a few splatters of cheese on the side of the plate. The other times they were excellent. On a previous visit, the medium burgers came almost raw. At these prices you can actually expect a lot more. We don't go there anymore.

Even though I'm not a burger fan, I still think it's great! Everyone can put together the burger the way they like it best - which in its diversity actually overwhelmed my male colleagues. Es ist nicht einfach, an einem Samstag Abend in Weinheim kurzfristig einen Tisch zu reservieren. Insbesondere am Marktplatz ist die Anzahl an guten Restaurants überschaubar. Das SO gehört definitiv dazu. Angenehmes Ambiente, freundlicher Service und sehr gute Speisen machen das SO zu einer der Topadressen.

Very, very friendly, patient service staff, which is very rare these days. Ambience great. The food is beautifully presented and even the porcelain has style. Beef strips unfortunately tough. But that was perhaps due to the overcrowded restaurant in the run-up to Christmas.

One of the best burger places I know. They also have extensive vegetarian burgers that don't need to be hidden and can be creatively relocated yourself. Service was nice but it sometimes took a little longer. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but just a little too dark. The price is rather high, but also first-class quality! Was there for the first time today, there were three of us. The staff was friendly and gave us good tips and helped us put together the burgers. The burger tasted super delicious. I'll definitely stop by again soon and test the steaks, as I saw at the neighboring table they also looked delicious.

The best meal we've had in a long time. We chose the turkey steak with grilled vegetables and baked potatoes. Quality and price are in absolute harmony. Rarely have I seen something so beautifully and lovingly prepared. We'd be happy to come back next time we're in the area. 👍👍👍

One of the good restaurants on the Weinheim market square. That's not all of them. There are, among other things, good Hugos and burgers that you can put together yourself. Sounds complicated, but the courteous service staff are happy to help. The nice atmosphere rounds off the visit.

A great place to eat successful burgers 🍔 The service is friendly, gives great advice and keeps a great overview of the guest room. The food was served quickly, both the classic burgers, medium and smashed, hit the spot. The vegan green kernel fava burger also tasted very good. I had the feeling that the chef wanted to cook good food for his guests 😊 The chocolate cake at the end was also very good and to the point. After this satisfying evening, I can fully recommend the restaurant!

Super friendly service & really tasty burgers. However, it is a bit noisy outside due to the street.

The food was delicious and the waitresses were very friendly. Then why only 2 stars? We ordered 2 burgers, one of which was "a la carte" and the other made our own with toppings. Unfortunately, in the end all the toppings on the "a la carte" burger were on it, so it was mixed up in the kitchen or written down incorrectly. We said it straight away, but didn't want to have to make 2 new burgers, so we ate it and it was really tasty too! In the end, we would probably have just been happy about a little attention. 2 espressos on the house or a free drink or something like that. The restaurant hardly costs anything, so it's a small "compensation". Unfortunately nothing came except an “oh sorry”. We were a bit disappointed with so little customer loyalty and it was the last time we were there.

If you are in Weinheim and want to enjoy good service, a good ambience and delicious food, you should definitely go to the “Bratar Grill Bar”. The food was delivered within less than 10 minutes. It was fresh, juicy and, above all, very tasty. The service from the waiters and waitresses was excellent. So customer satisfaction was the waiters' top priority and that was us. Always my pleasure. A great and inexpensive store.

Six of us were there on a Wednesday evening and sat in the backyard. Food was very tasty and sufficient! However: there are plastic straws (that they are still allowed at all...), and if you say no straw for the first drink, you will get one again for the second if you forget to say something. With 6 people there is a lot of drinks, and even when new drinks were brought, the old ones - empty ones, mind you - weren't taken away. At some point the table became very full. Made it a bit uncomfortable.

Well, we waited a long time until a service came and there was nothing going on. After we ordered, a waitress came back to ask if we wanted to order. Burger so holala, avocado cream hardly available, aioli cream was none... The price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Darin verloren sich kleine Pfifferlinge Der sogenannte Weinschaum (als Soße?) war ein Witz Ebenso die Größe des Fischfilets Keine Beilagen, nur vergammeltes Grünzeug als Deko Und das für 27 EUR NEIN, danke Wir waren zweimal dort Das erste und das letzte Mal

The food was OK. But the service was an absolute disaster. It started with an unfriendly greeting and ended with not accepting a voucher that wasn't even 1 year old and the staff was unable to explain why the voucher was no longer valid. The ambience in the restaurant is nice. However, the outside area is on a very busy street and the background noise can be imagined accordingly.

Weiter so!! Wir kamen von Karlsruhe gefahren um bei Euch zu Essen. Bei Euch passt einfach alles. Der Service, die Freundlichkeit, die Kompetenz und natürlich die Lust am Kochen und kreieren. Ihr habt begründet gewonnen bei ML-DL. Sind im Freien gesessen. Sehr angenehme Stimmung, da sind sehr schnell Urlaubsgefühle aufgekommen.

Very nice restaurant that has a great setting and seating that satisfies a wide range of needs. If you want to be a moth in the action, no problem, as there are seats on the large square. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, then the beer garden or the restaurant is perfect. That's really great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had burgers and fries. These were very good. I would give them 4.5 stars. The meat is very good and the doneness is perfect. Due to the variable structure of its citizens, there are a lot of possibilities for variation. So everyone should actually be happy. The only deduction is for the chilli fries for the roasted onions and the Siracha sauce. These ingredients don't quite fit into what is being advertised with the citizen. Suggestion: Braise or roast onions yourself and get the spiciness from the jalapenos. Then I see no obstacle to a 5 star rating. All in all, a great meal and a great time there. Thanks.

Very good food but the service was a bit slow

Food, e.g. choice of burgers, patty, size of meat, requirements, everything OK but quite expensive when you put it together.

2x normal burgers with fries and 2x drinks just under €60.....the best part of the whole thing was the meat, really tasty. The "very hot" sauce is nothing other than the red chili sauce from the Chinese, disappointed... homemade would have been cool. I didn't like the "bratar" sauce at all. The bun wasn't sizzled, so it was full of sausage and of course it was completely babby. Unfortunately I have to say, just because 150g of meat tastes good doesn't justify the amount charged. Second visit not planned.

What can I say, everything is just right here. The ambience goes very well with the food. The restaurant isn't huge so I would recommend making a reservation depending on when you're eating out👍. It's not super cheap, but the burger you get has never disappointed me. The waitresses are all very friendly. The waiting time seemed a bit long to me personally, but as the saying goes: good things take time😇 All in one, really nice restaurant where I always enjoy going back😇

In terms of food, I definitely recommend it (although we didn’t try the main thing the establishment specializes in, i.e. burgers and steaks). It is very nice in the evening, there is a separate quiet garden as part of the seating. The city center is beautiful and the illumination adds to the atmosphere. The only thing we were dissatisfied with was that they took about an hour to bring us the bill along with dessert. it's just too long, not everyone has that much time

Nowadays it's hard to get a good schnitzel but you can get it here. Pan fried, well seasoned and very good quality meat. Fries are well fried and not half raw like many other restaurants. My wife also really likes the vegetarian/vegan burgers and the food is generally of high quality. Also a compliment to the waitress, who often serves all alone. We've been there at least 6 times now and the quality is always consistently good.

So I wouldn't recommend this restaurant anymore because we didn't get what we ordered. Like when you order an Argentinian rodeo steak you get a completely different steak. This is inedible and you cannot chew it properly at all. And you order medium but get English. You complain to the waitress and we were only offered a compensatory drink, nothing more. It's very sad we won't be coming anymore.

Kommen wir erst zum Negativen, damit man sich besser auf die positiven Eindrücke konzentrieren kann: die Anordnung der Tische: es war so merkwürdig angeordnet, dass man über andere steigen musste, weil im Durchgang jemand saß, statt am Kopfende. Aber ansonsten stimmte alles: der Service im Vorfeld - wir wurden angerufen, um die Auswahl abzustimmen, der Service am Abend - sehr nett, zügig, freundlich und vor allem das Essen: da gab es nichts zu meckern. Nur eine Frage bleibt: ist wirklich Brot und Frankfurter Grüne Sauce der Gruß aus der Küche oder wurde der einfach vergessen?

Food was very good. We got a table at short notice. The young waitress was a bit clumsy, but (I think it was the boss) often came and asked if everything was ok. We had schnitzel, salad, burgers and currywurst. All very tasty. There are parking spaces about 300m away. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

Very friendly staff. The food was very tasty. However, the cheese bomb on my burger was completely cold. It still largely went over it :) The burger inside wasn't very hot either. We still felt comfortable. As an apology, we got espresso on the house

The bad first: unfortunately the prices have risen significantly again. The last time I was there was in November. Now it has become significantly more expensive again - the third price increase within a year. And the cheese sauce (cheese bomb) felt like it was halved; Sweet potato fries have disappeared from the menu. You now also have to pay extra for some bread roll variations. Therefore a very expensive pleasure. However, I have to say that the burgers are delicious. The waitress basically wants to take your plate away even though you're still eating. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort. Zunächst hat es relativ lange gedauert bis die Bestellungen aufgenommen wurden, dann kam vereinzelt das Essen (die Getränke hatten wir zu dem Zeitpunkt immer noch nicht). Teilweise war die eine Hälfte dann schon fertig, bevor der Rest sein Essen bekommen hat. Leider hat sich der Service im Laufe des Abends auch nicht verbessert. Es wurden Getränke vergessen und an das Dessert musste zweimal erinnert werden. Die Burger waren prinzipiell lecker, aber eben auch sehr teuer. Teilweise waren die Burger nicht richtig durch, was dann noch behoben wurde. Fazit: Für den Preis erwarte ich deutlich mehr vom Service.

Gemütlich, Wohlbefinden mit tollem Service

Wir waren gestern beim Brater in Weinheim essen. Toller Service uns hat Murat bedient super netter Mitarbeiter. Wir hatten kurzfristig reserviert und trotzdem einen schönen Tisch bekommen obwohl es so voll war. Wir sagen Dankeschön!

Sehr netter Kontakt am Telefon für die telefonische Reservierung. Wir hatten Glück und es war wenig los an dem Abend, an dem wir Essen waren. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Bedienung war super lieb. Die Portionsgrößen sind überproportional groß zu anderen Restaurants. Die Vorspeisen (gebratene Champions und Oliven) waren lecker und unsere Schnitzel waren ein Traum! Die Beilagen, die man dazu bekommt, würden einen alleine schon satt machen. Einen Salat gab es auch noch dazu. Weiterhin haben wir dort Geburtstag gefeiert, was die Kellnerin mitbekommen hat. Es gab dann noch einen Lava Cake als Geschenk, was mehr als aufmerksam war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :)

Stylisch eingerichtetes Lokal und hip gemachte Karte. Das wars dann aber leider auch an Lob: zuerst einmal kam ewig kein Servicepersonal, dann gleich zwei auf einmal. Unsere beiden Getränke kamen erst deutlich nachdem das Essen schon da war. Das Fleisch musste ich auf meinem Putenburger leider suchen gehen (winziges Stückchen Putenbrust, trocken); die extra bestellte Guacamole war nicht mehr als ein Teelöffelchen - ging auf dem großen Brötchen komplett unter. Zu viel des Guten dafür beim Salz an den Pommes, diese waren nahezu ungenießbar salzig. Auch beim Schnitzel war der Genuss leider zu kurz gekommen, wirkte wie fertig eingekauft und die Rahmsauce war gänzlich ohne Geschmack. Schade, wirkte vielversprechend, doch wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Einziger Pluspunkt, der Laden ist hundefreundlich und unserem Hund wurde direkt Wasser gebracht.

Essen war sehr gut .Qualität des Fleisches war super. Gute Burger und Schnitzel gerne wieder.
