Beautifully decorated - delicious food.

All was fresh, but the cook has a quite heavy hand with salt.

It started with our reservation. All the tables around the edges were empty, and in the middle there were three closely spaced tables for two, two of which were occupied. Where were we seated? In the middle, among the only other guests. When we asked, we were told it would fill up soon. Private conversation wasn't possible. It (of course) never filled up. The food and service were okay. But seriously, the online reservation system charged an extra €9 for a window seat. I have nothing more to say.

For us, the best schnitzel in the market square!!! 😁🤩 On our last visit, we were there at lunchtime, and it was still a bit quieter then. We got to talking with the waitress and raved about the delicious salad dressing, among other things. When we paid, she came over and brought us a bottle of her dressing. I was so incredibly happy; it was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. Best regards, we really love coming here!

Fantastic restaurant, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail! A small but excellent menu! We ate from the lunch menu! Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared, with very generous portions! I had pea soup with croutons and freshly pureed beef sausage – simply brilliant, unbeatable! For my main course, bread dumplings with mushrooms in a creamy sauce – divine! The bread dumplings were incredibly tender and moist with fresh herbs! Great food at very reasonable prices, all prepared with love! Right in the old town! A top-notch, down-to-earth restaurant – a must for food lovers!

A very successful concept overall. You assemble the burgers according to your own preferences. I was there for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled. The price is appropriate for the product. There's something for the little ones too. However, I'm deducting one star. The actual appetizer arrived together with the burgers. Okay, that's acceptable. But what's unacceptable is that it was served on a plate that obviously had a chip. After all, presentation matters. I simply expect more quality control. But still, highly recommended.

As far as the food is concerned, Bratar has never disappointed. I wouldn't necessarily call it sophisticated, but it's very tasty. I appreciate that the meat is locally sourced. They give the impression that it also comes from humane animal husbandry, although this isn't explicitly confirmed. Vegetarian options and plant-based burgers are also available. The staff is attentive and friendly. I would describe the wait times as average to short. The restaurant's decor is timelessly pleasant, but the large dining room is very echoey. If you have a rather loud table neighbor, you can hardly hear them. You have to pay extra for the somewhat cozier seats in the window alcoves when making a reservation. I think that's excessive. The prices aren't cheap, but still reasonable.

We were absolutely delighted with the incredibly delicious food and the very kind and attentive service. It was a wonderful evening with lasting memories and a delicious complimentary birthday dessert. Thank you so much for having us as your guests.

We were here for the second time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. The burgers were cooked to perfection, juicy, and both visually and in terms of taste outstanding – you can immediately tell that quality is a top priority here. The dessert was also excellent. The ambiance is pleasantly modern, yet still cozy. The service deserves special mention: attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. You feel well taken care of without it being intrusive. Everything is just right here – highly recommended!

There are now several restaurants that offer burgers, including Bratar. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close to meeting the high expectations. It's a nice place, but far too loud and hectic. The menu is overloaded with information and impossible to read without glasses; guests are overwhelmed. The burger bun is cold, not toasted, and the patty is cooked through and firm, even though ordered medium. The taste is okay. Overall, it's not good enough for a good review. It probably wouldn't get a second chance, but it's too expensive, and not good value for money.

This was quite an unexpected find. Just walking through the city looking for a place to eat and decided on this one. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Everything from the schnitzel to the salad. Highly, highly recommend this place.

As always, delicious – the burgers are truly top-notch! Even though the prices are quite high these days, the quality and taste are still top-notch.

Once again, bratar, Weinheim. And it's still as good as ever: super cozy, extremely friendly waitress, and the food is simply delicious. My burger with beef paddy and bratar sauce, extra bacon, grilled vegetables, and fries, immediately made my mouth water. I'd go back anytime because it's simply highly recommended.

The Bratar in Weinheim is highly recommended! The food is delicious and freshly prepared. What's especially nice is the option to sit comfortably inside or enjoy the atmosphere outside on the market square. Even with a dog, it was no problem at all outside – very pleasant and uncomplicated. We'd be happy to go back!

Delicious burgers to build yourself! We had: A double burger in a whole-wheat bun with braised onions, nachos, and a fried egg. Instead of cheese, we had the Cheese Bomb – the best choice – see video. Not only does it look good, it also tastes amazing! And A single burger in a whole-wheat bun with goat cheese and braised onions. As well as two vegetarian no-chicken burgers. All absolutely delicious! The chili cheese fries still have room for improvement!

Everything has basically been written about the guys and girls at the Bratar in Weinheim, except for me. 5 stars for the food 5 stars for the service 5 stars for the ambiance We ate: Rahmschnitzel with fries Maultaschensalat We sat: In the garden The cooking crew was in a great mood. The singing and whistling spread good cheer. When the crew is in such a good mood, the food can only be good. And that's exactly how it was. The Bratar - An absolute recommendation!

The burgers were of very high quality – you could immediately taste that everything was fresh and homemade. The meat was cooked to perfection. We also received a very friendly welcome, and our dog felt completely at home here, too.

A modern burger joint in a beautiful location right on the market square in Weinheim. The food was okay, tasty, and the quantity was appropriate. But: For me, a restaurant visit is more than just getting full. I also go out to enjoy service and a pleasant atmosphere. And that's precisely where the problem lies. Unfortunately, the staff were anything but friendly in their interactions with the guests. It seemed as if someone had been specifically assigned to harass guests as soon as they used the restroom, in order to collect another euro. This had nothing to do with normal service; it felt unpleasant, intrusive, and inappropriate. Conclusion: If you just want to eat burgers, you'll probably be satisfied. However, if you value genuine service and don't want to feel like you're being monitored or ripped off, you'd be better off looking for another restaurant. Especially in this price range, you can expect that hospitality counts more than a euro for the restroom.

Full marks in every category, of course! A great spot on the market square, incredibly friendly service, and that schnitzel... amazing! It was a fantastic experience overall, thank you.

The entrecôte was super delicious, along with grilled vegetables and fries. The crème brûlée with its lovely crust was also very good. The portion wasn't quite enough for a very large appetite. The service was super friendly.

I was alone on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful view of Weinheim's market square. The atmosphere outside was really pleasant – I didn't go inside, so I can't comment on that. I was particularly impressed by the very friendly and attentive waitress, who looked after me so well. Unfortunately, my first steak wasn't medium as ordered, but cooked all the way through – this was clearly visible from the outside. Since I only like my steak medium, I pointed this out to the waitress. She reacted immediately and professionally, and the steak was replaced without any problems. The new steak was perfectly cooked medium, beautifully presented, and tasted excellent. Overall, a very successful visit – great service, delicious food, and a lovely spot on the terrace. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Bratar.

We stumbled upon this place by chance. We were actually just thirsty, but then the menu looked so good that we ordered burgers. The burger buns from the bakery were incredibly buttery, the meat was raised respectfully, there were several vegetarian/vegan options, the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and even the ketchup was homemade... incredibly delicious! I think the prices are completely reasonable, considering this isn't a cheap fast-food joint. The homemade lemonades are also very good! Overall, highly recommended; I'm already looking forward to the next time.

In the beautiful summer weather, we ate burgers, sausage salad, and fries outside. The portions are generous; one serving is enough for two people. The seating is comfortable with a view of the historic market square. We loved it!

The ambiance outside is okay. It's on the street with passing traffic. The service was friendly and fast. But the price/performance ratio is terrible! The food tastes good; we had no complaints (2 burgers with fries, 1 Maultaschensalat). Including a total of 3 drinks (Coke and beer), the total came to €90! That's simply insane for 2 burgers and a salad. We'd come back for the food, but the exorbitant prices are killing me!
