Cafe Florian in Weinheim

...wir waren dort gestern Abend Tappas essen. Sorry, geht gar nicht. Es war alles versalzen, aber komplett. Das kann ja mal passieren, aber anstelle sich zu entschuldigen, hat man sich gerechtfertigt, das es genau so sein muss. Sorry braucht man nicht

Ein schöner Platz ein freundliches Café zum Verweilen allein oder zu zweit

Nach langer Zeit war ich mal wieder dort mit einem kleinen Stammtisch und wir waren begeistert. Die Lieblingsgerichte sind einfach wunderbar.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Ob Frühstück oder Tapas, alles lecker.

Die Lage ist traumhaft, obwohl einige Sitzplätze direkt am Hang liegen. Ich bestellte zwei Tassen Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen und wäre beim Bezahlen fast vom Stuhl gefallen. Nächstes Mal werde ich mir die Speisekarte und die Preise auf jeden Fall vorher ansehen.

Sonntag Vormittag, Tisch reserviert mit der Angabe, dass zwei Klenkinder dabei sind. Voll, laut und eng. Auf meine Frage nach einem Kinderstuhl erhielt ich die Antwort, dass nur einer vorhanden sei und dieser grad in Benutzung…also Töchterlein auf den Schoß und das andere Kind bleibt im Kinderwagen. Töchterlein muss gewickelt werden. Auf meine Frage nach einer Wickelmöglichkeit werde ich auf die Bank unseres Tisches verwiesen, weil es keine Wickelmöglichkeit in den Toiletten gäbe. In dieser ungewohnten lauten Atmosphäre ohne Rückzugsmöglichkeit schreit Töchterlein beim Wickeln also den ganzen Laden zusammen und wir beschließen zu gehen, weil sie danach fertig mit der Welt ist. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, dazu sind wir nicht mehr gekommen.

Service einfach tippi toppi. Freundlichkeit und Lächeln kommen von Herzen. Atmosphäre ist wunderbar.

Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Ich besuche dieses Restaurant immer, wenn ich nach Weinheim komme.

Enttäuschender Service – Kuchen kam nie an Leider war mein Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Wir haben Kuchen bestellt, der jedoch nie serviert wurde. Trotz zweimaliger Nachfrage beim Personal passierte nichts. Wir haben letztlich ohne Kuchen bezahlt und das Café verlassen. Schade, aber so schnell kommen wir nicht wieder.

Ich war zum Frühstück im Café Florian und habe das Avocado-Frühstück bestellt (frische Avocado auf geröstetem Bauernbrot mit marinierten Cherrytomaten, Wildkräutersalat und Ei). Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich war das Gericht wirklich toll – sehr lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, wurde allerdings mit zunehmender Gästezahl etwas laut. Trotzdem eine klare Weiterempfehlung – ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, aber der Wein war wunderbar, der Service super herzlich und das Ambiente total gemütlich!

Delicious breakfast options. Everything was delicious. The coffee prices were a bit annoying. A large coffee costs a whopping €5.80! A small coffee costs €3.20. They charge a fee. Otherwise, it was good.

We, a group of six white-haired retirees, happened to arrive here this morning on October 5, 2025, to warm up and escape the miserable weather. We immediately succumbed to the charm of the charming young waitstaff. A super-friendly atmosphere, fair prices, and a young, fantastic team offering stunningly natural hospitality, whose work you can see takes pride in. We only had drinks (hence no review for the food), but we were still treated like royalty. For that, we would like to express our sincere gratitude.

The coffee and cake were good, the atmosphere was rustic and cozy.

I'm a frequent customer at Café Florian. The food is always delicious, with a good selection on the changing menu. Delicious dishes with a large daily selection. Drinks you won't find anywhere else, like Aperol Passion Fruit. The service is always friendly, prompt, and helpful with questions about the dishes. I recommend it!

Very friendly staff, great food, and a great atmosphere, but the boss... absolutely terrible. He's constantly shouting in his own restaurant and seems to know nothing but how to complain. He has no control over his anger at all. I really liked the restaurant itself, but because of the boss, I haven't been there for six months, and I definitely won't be going back. My advice to the boss: Please urgently work on self-control!

A very cozy café with a friendly atmosphere. The drinks and desserts are fresh and delicious, and the staff is always attentive and helpful. I'll be back!

I have been here several times over the years and it’s one of my go to spots when in Weinheim. Great menu and outdoor space to people watch. Their special pasta they offer in August with the fresh mushrooms is amazing. You can get similar dishes elsewhere but this one is our personal favorite.

Very nice place, Pizza ist very delicious and Flammkuchen also. I recommend it very much. Had a great time here. Espresso is ☕️ Lavazza.

We went to the cafe for dinner last night. My dish was really good. Unfortunately, my girlfriend had a bit of bad luck. The pasta with chanterelles had no flavor at all, rather watery. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

A great little menu for a very nice little café. When the weather is good, you can sit outside in the heart of the market square. Very friendly staff who are always attentive to their guests' needs. Highly recommended.

The breakfast is always delicious - including specials like the farmer's breakfast. The coffee drinks are relatively expensive, but that is also due to the location.

Went to Café Florian for the first time today. Since I was here on Sunday, there was a lot going on. The service staff were very friendly and had a smile on their faces. This made you feel welcome. Cappuccino was good and came quickly, the “Wonnemer” breakfast was ok, but the fruit was unnecessary. Given the quantity that was here, you could add a small bowl or a skewer, blueberries and cream horseradish don't quite go together. Ambience was rustic but cozy, but the table wasn't cleaned in front of me. If you want to have breakfast with a few people in the old town of Weinheim, Café Florian is a recommendation

Large cappuccino 5.80 was very expensive compared to the small one. Unfortunately, the price of the large cappuccino was not on the menu. The cake was very tasty.

Yesterday, a surprise party was organized for my 30th birthday, and they even stayed open until after midnight. A very nice atmosphere, a very friendly waitress, everything was top-notch. A very nice place, I'll definitely be back. P.S. (That must be the gin speaking)

We took a spontaneous trip to Weinheim this Sunday and it was wonderful!! Enjoyed sunshine and delicious pumpkin seed soup here, definitely recommended! Ambiance outside and inside very pleasant and beautiful! We'll be back soon!

There is a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. The location is also good. It is also very close to the parking lot.

We went to Café Flo for breakfast. The food was delicious, the portions always look a bit small, but you're still full. We had our 3 dogs mot, that wasn't a problem. However, being offered a bowl of water would have been really great, even though it's no longer 30 degrees outside.

Was just there for a drink. The coffee is very cozy and the service was very friendly.

We had Mr. Salazar and his team catering at our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the food and our guests had nothing but praise for the great food. Many people still rave about our food today. But the service staff were also great and made our wedding something very special. We can only recommend the catering. Price-performance is simply top

Food is good. Marketplace prices. The short male Italian waiter was rather unfriendly and reprimanded the new waitress in front of the customers. That doesn't work at all.

Food far too expensive for the portion and quality. A waiter and a “new” waitress served us. She was super nice and did a really great job. However, the waiter always intervened, interrupted her and, in our opinion, treated her condescendingly. His politeness towards us could also be improved. After he cashed us in, he turned around without a word and left. No goodbye or thank you. A no-go for us, therefore only 2 stars for service.

Um es salopp zusammenzufassen: ich habe schon deutlich besser und auch deutlich schlechter zu Abend gegessen. Für eine bessere Bewertung stimmt das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis einfach nicht. Überdurchschnittlich lässt sich lediglich der freundliche Service bezeichnen. Und eine Empfehlung gibt es ebenfalls noch: Am Kuchen gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen. Fazit: Als Café gut, als Restaurant nur befriedigend.

The whole street is dotted with tall fragrant Japanese alacia trees. We were also very satisfied with breakfast and the nice service. Gladly again.

Guten Tag, ich möchte mit Ihnen meine Erfahrungen beim Besuch dieser Einrichtung teilen! Das war die schlimmste Erfahrung, die ich je im Cafe Florian gemacht habe. Das Essen ist schrecklich, es schmeckt und sieht so aus, als würde mir fast schlecht werden, der Service war neutral, ich musste lange warten, dann wurde alles verschenkt, es ist nicht wirklich möglich, es zu Hause zu essen, da alles kalt ist, und wenn es erhitzt wird, ist es ehrlich gesagt Müll. Ich rate niemandem, in dieses Lokal zu gehen, meine Bewertung ist ein Punkt und das ist viel!!!!!!

The Flo in Weinheim on the market square is actually a nice location. But the scene I witnessed there last Saturday ensures that I will certainly never set foot there again. In an incredibly rude manner, the innkeeper drove away a street musician who was playing very pleasant, not too loud music on the violin opposite. He shouted at him, insulted him, became violent, pushed the musician around, reached into his container in which the passers-by's coins were lying and then threw the coins at his feet. Such an outburst, such a lack of control, is an absolute no-go. If you can't control yourself and your emotions, it's better not to run a restaurant and not have anything to do with the public. In any case, the beautiful atmosphere was immediately destroyed.

An institution on the market square in Weinheim for over 40 years. Breakfast delicious, lunch/dinner too. Be sure to reserve for breakfast on the weekend. I'm looking forward to more years in our Flo. Oh, it's great to sit outside in every season!

Es sagt schon sehr viel über das Serviceverständnis aus: ich wollte ein (Rest)-Schnitzel mit nach Hause nehmen und man packt nicht nur das Schnitzel ein, sonder packt noch ein Stück frische Zitrone dazu. Man sitzt hier sehr schön. Wir hatten Glück: Sonnenschein, warm, ein toller Straßenmusiker. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, den Samstagmittag hier zu verbringen. Sehr freundliches Personal, das auch unaufgefordert Alternativbeilagen (Bratkartoffeln - sehr gut!) anbietet. Das Essen: man zahlt für das schöne Sitzen. Bei mir wären ein paar Blätter Salat mit etwas Dressing dem Preis angemessen. Auch waren die drei kleinen Mini-Hähnchenspieße doch ein wenig klein geraten. Die Schnitzel waren eben Schnitzel.

We have been going to Café Florian as a group for years and what we had to experience today was the very last one! The owner literally shouted at us, was drunk and tried to hug us several times. The order first arrived incorrectly and when the correct cocktails were served we were shouted at and the tray was slapped in our face because we complained about the order. It would be best if I didn't give any stars at all, but unfortunately that's not possible! We were about to call the police. We won't put up with something like that from a drunk owner.

Wonderful location, very tasty food. Very nice service. Even though it was very busy, the staff was very friendly and the food was at our table in a reasonable time. We had the salad with turkey. Nice selection of different salads. What you could see on the plates of other guests also looked very good. Absolutely recommended.

I ordered various tapas and wine. The wine was very good, the tapas good. There was a small cake counter. The atmosphere is more nostalgic like in the 80s/90s and with a lot of wood, but cozy. There are two rooms inside and a terrace. The service was friendly.

I was there for the first time and was disappointed. I ordered a salad and asked for no olives beforehand. You since it comes with olives, ok that can happen That it's still the same the second time. No go

Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired! It's unbelievable how young people act here these days. Greeting with an inappropriate “Hi” (Ha-iiii...) With the card in our hands for 10 seconds, we were "pressured" by a second service person to order drinks. Well, it can happen. At the next table the bill was ordered twice, after about 20 minutes they got up and were paid while standing! We were charged during the meal because of a shift change - an outrage, that's not possible! 😡🤬 We then drank the coffee somewhere else and took the tip there too. Some of the asparagus was too firm, but otherwise we at least enjoyed it. Dates wrapped in bacon for 6.70 euros were only three pieces... We definitely won't be coming back.

We spent a wonderful lunch on the terrace today. Very tasty food, super friendly waitresses who keep an overview even when there's a lot going on. It was a bit like a vacation, we'll definitely come back.

Wir waren zu 5 frühstücken am Sonntag mit Reservierung. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Die Preise waren für uns gerade so okay. Der Weg zur Toilette ist sehr abenteuerlich mit der doch sehr steilen Treppe. Barrierefrei nicht zu empfehlen. Geparkt haben wir kostenlos oben am Hermannshof und liefen zu Fuß zum Marktplatz.

Nachdem wir am Abend auf ein Bier diese Location besuchten und nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht hatten, entschlossen wir uns, am nächsten Morgen dort zu frühstücken. Leider ein Flop! Haben über eine halbe Stunde auf das Frühstück gewartet, der Kaffee war inzwischen kalt. Völlig überteuert, 2 Frühstücke von der Karte mit Extras und Getränken über 50 Euro! Wir haben am Tag vorher in Speyer positiveres erfahren dürfen. Aber wie überall - der Service steht und fällt mit dem Personal.

Putensteak unglaublich trocken , Rosmarinkartoffeln ohne Geschmack , ein Zweig Rosmarin ! Sehr überschaubarer Salat . Dann noch das Frühstück vom Nachbarn auf der Rechnung , ohne Entschuldigung 😬. Für einen stolzen Preis .

Schönes Restaurant mit einem gewissen Nostalgie Flair innen. Außen sitzt man wunderbar in der Fußgängerzone. Der kleine tapas Teller war überraschend gut! Gute Weinauswahl aus der Region.

Ein kleineres Café mit viel Platz draußen auf dem schönen Marktplatz in der Weinheimer Altstadt. Innen viel Holz, sehr gemütlich, sehr nettes Personal, nicht so steif, alles total entspannt. Wir hatten Frühstück, es gibt viele Varianten, immer reichlich, auf jeden Fall lecker. Ab sofort unser Anlaufpunkt für Frühstück in Woinem....

Sehr schönes Cafe/Restaurant mit sehr leckerem und vielseitigen Essen! Der service bei uns hatten bisschen nen Wurm drinn weil immer wieder Sachen vergessen wurden und nicht kamen. Ansonsten ist das Personal freundlich. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren zum Frühstück da.
