Diebsloch in Weinheim

Leider mussten wir uns hier ein untragbares Verhalten einer Bedienung gefallen lassen: Unsere Kinder (5,4 und 2) spielten und stießen dabei einen lose stehenden Blumentopf um, der nicht kaputt ging. Die Bedienung schrie (!) zwei der Kinder an. Es ist absolut inakzeptabel so mit Kindern anderer Leute umzugehen, noch dazu wegen einer solchen Bagatelle. Wir sind zahlende Kunden und unsere Kinder haben sich ansonsten toll und ruhig verhalten. Wir hoffen, dass die Bedienung einsieht, dass ihr Verhalten bodenlos war und dass sie sich in Zukunft bessert.

Wir waren wohl nicht erwünscht, wolltrn uns mit unserem kleinen Hund in den halb leeren Außenbereich an einem Zweiertisch setzen. Sollen uns aber ab einen Tisch zu zwei Personen dazu setzen. Da werden die Leute auch nicht gefragt ob das Recht ist. Naja, dann gehen wir eben ein Haus weiter zum Essen. Hier sind Gäste mit Hunden wohl nicht erwünscht.

Die Auswahl an Restaurants am Weinheimer Marktplatz ist nicht leicht zu überblicken!!! Wir haben uns für dieses entschieden. Richtige Entscheidung. Spinatknödel und Spargel-Maultaschen mit Wildkraut-Salat gehabt. 100% empfehlenswert. :)

Wir haben unser Hochzeitsessen mit 25 Personen im Diebsloch im wunderschönen Außenbereich direkt am Marktplatz gefeiert und wollten uns einfach nochmal beim Team sowie beim Chef selbst bedanken! Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Feier, das Essen war sehr lecker und wir wurden äußerst freundlich und herzlich bedient! Auch die Abwicklung und Gespräche im Vorfeld mit Herrn Haas waren superfreundlich, wir konnten uns eine eigene kleine Karte mit verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen und diese wurde dann explizit für unsere Feier erstellt. Deshalb: vielen herzlichen Dank nochmal, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ins Diebsloch – und unsere Gäste ebenfalls!

Ein schöner Standort. Das Essen lieblos angerichtet Geschmacklich Standard Preise leider dafür zu teuer.

Ich war sehr beeindruckt von diesem Restaurant. Wir waren zu zweit zum Mittagessen. Hervorragend deshalb war ich am nächsten Tag nochmal da. Hat alles gestimmt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Lage am Weinheimer Marktplatz ist einmalig. Ich war jedoch an einem trüben, kalten Februartag in dem Restaurant und konnte so das gemütliche Ambiente im Innern erleben. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Ich wälte ein klassisches, echtes Wienerschnitzel aus Kalbfleisch, was vorzüglich schmeckte, auch der dazu genossene Wein mundete sehr. Der Aufenthalt war entspannt und stressfrei. Jederzeit wieder. Im März 2026 war ich erneut im Diebsloch, das Essen ist so gut, wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte. Diesmal entschied ich mich für einen köstlichen Sauerbraten.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber wir haben über eine Stunde darauf gewartet, was eine sehr lange Zeit ist.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Den Salat mit Käsespätzle kann ich nur empfehlen, so leckere Spätzle (eher Knöpfle) hab ich noch in keinem Lokal gegessen.

War so toll auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt und das Essen einfach genial.....so leckere Sachen gibt's selten🫶🤗

Wir kamen gegen 11.20 Uhr in dem Restaurant an, haben zu dieser Uhrzeit noch locker einen Tisch bekommen, ab 12 wurde es schwieriger, einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu bekommen. Zwei andere Gäste wurden wieder weg geschickt, da sie nichts essen wollten, sondern nur etwas trinken. Das fanden wir schon etwas befremdlich. Anschließend haben wir fast 40 Minuten (obwohl nicht viel los war!) auf unser Essen gewartet, welches zwar sehr gut aussah, aber leider das Preis Leistung Verhältnis absolut nicht gestimmt hat. Die Pfifferling Maultaschen waren mehr mit Ricotta gefüllt als mit Pfifferlingen, sie waren sehr trocken und es gab nicht mal eine Soße dazu. Der Salat, welcher als Beilage dabei war, war lecker, aber leider viel zu klein. Sehr schade, hätte man viel mehr erwartet für fast 20€! Mein Mann hatte Schweinemedallions mit Spätzle und Soße. Die Medallions waren ok, aber die Spätzle definitiv keine selbstgemachten, was man für den ebenfalls stolzen Preis von 25€ aber hätte erwarten können. Zudem lief die Soße aufgrund der Schräge (Tische waren nicht ausgeglichen am Berg) fast vom Teller runter, wir haben uns dann mit einer Unterlage der Tischdeko und Besteck weiter geholfen, die Schräglage des Tellers auszugleichen. Der Service ließ zudem auch etwas zu wünschen übrig (zuerst sehr nett, aber nach Bestellungsaufnahme wurde man nicht mehr weiter beachtet oder mal nachgefragt ob alles ok sei oder ob man noch was benötigt usw) und beim Zahlen wurden wir dann auch noch mehrmals "dezent" drauf hingewiesen, dass man auch noch Trinkgeld erwartet! Alles in allem können wir aufgrund der heutigen Erfahrung dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

Ich bin Dank meines Kollegen seines Stammlokales (Thomas) mittlerweile seit mehreren Jahren zum Gans essen in der Weihnachtszeit hier. Bisher wurde ich auch in keinster Weise enttäuscht.Vom Alter her ist alles vertretten.Von Jung bis alt.Die rustikale Einrichtung passt sehr gut zum Gesamtbild und lädt zum verweilen ein.Es wirkt aber in keinster Weise alt oder abgenutzt.Ich hoffe doch sehr das es nächstes Jahr wieder ein Treffen hier gibt mit den Kollegen.Aber ich schau bestimmt auch vorher nochmals vorbei,schon allein wegen KöPi. Gut besucht und sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr schönes, rustikales Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schnell serviert. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Die hohe Anzahl an Reservierungen an den benachbarten Tischen zeigt, dass ich mit dieser Meinung wohl nicht alleine bin.

Alles super! Das Essen war sehr lecker, ob Steak medium gebraten, Kalbsschnitzel oder Wildwürstchen ... und wenn man will, fängt es mit einem sehr leckeren Salat z. B. mit Buttermilch-Dressing an. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich - da merkt man die gute Führung und eine offensichtlich gute Arbeitsatmosphäre. Weiter so. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind und empfehlen euch uneingeschränkt weiter.

Wir waren zum Familientreffen das zweite Mal in diesem urigen Restaurant und wieder sehr zufrieden mit allem. Ich hatte den auf der Haut gebratenen Lachs mit Kürbisrisotto. Hervorragend! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Der Service sehr gut.

Wir haben schon einige Restaurants ausprobiert, weil wir sehr gerne Rumpsteak essen und das ist mit Abstand unser Liebling. Das Steak hat einen besonderen Geschmack und dafür fahren wir auch gerne ein paar Kilometer mehr. Kann es in jeder Hinsicht empfehlen.

Das Diebsloch ist ein sehr nettes Lokal inmitten des historischen Marktplatz von Weinheim. Neben den Sitzmöglichkeiten im Inneren gibt es auch Sitzplätze im Freien, welche einen wunderbaren Ausblick über den Marktplatz und auf die Burg Wachenburg bieten, um nur ein paar Beispiele zu nennen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Leider ist das Erreichen der Toiletten nicht wirklich barrierefrei - es geht ein paar Stufen zur nächsten Etage hoch. Kann aber trotzdem die Restauration mit ruhigem Gewissen nur empfehlen.

Aktuell ganz klar die Nummer 1. am Marktplatz. Gute ehrliche Odenwälder Küche, gute Weine und toller Service. Da können sich die anderen Gastronomen am Marktplatz mal ne Scheibe abschneiden.

The food was good, but mine was unfortunately too salty. So I asked for a glass of tap water (at a cost to the restaurant of practically nothing). But I wasn't granted one, which is something to consider. In a country like Germany, you don't even get a glass of tap water if the food is too salty.

Fantastic lunch experience. Good amount of comfortable outdoor seating that is well-shaded and spaced out. Great selection of in-season food and dishes. Maultaschen was delicious and very good desserts! Service was nice and helpful. This places makes everything fresh and it takes some time for the food to come out. Not unreasonable but don’t expect a quick bite here. It is worth the wait. Interior was cute and their toilets are clean. I would definitely come back here again!

We assumed that lots of visitors meant the place must be good, but we were wrong. After encountering a completely insensitive and obviously silly waitress and an incredibly exhausting conversation with the owner about whether it was possible to organize some fries for our histamine- and gluten-intolerant companion, we reluctantly decided to eat there. I wouldn't recommend anything with chanterelles, as the amount of mushrooms served simply doesn't match the extremely high price. The cheese spaetzle was unfortunately rather bland and overpriced. Unfortunately, no other accommodations were made, neither with seat cushions nor with anything to put underneath us to prevent the food from sliding off the table. Unfortunately, for €20-30 per head, it was a complete disappointment.

The food tasted okay, although you had to hunt for the chanterelle mushrooms and turkey strips in the salad. A hefty price for a baked potato with lettuce and a few strips. Service was overwhelmed and complicated. They also couldn't find a solution for our slanted table.

Highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious. We received very friendly service. There were three adults there with our dog, Ronja. The dog was immediately given a bowl of water. We, from Frankfurt, were very impressed with the place. We also had a pleasant conversation with the friendly waitress and promised to definitely come back.

You can sit comfortably on new, comfortable outdoor seating under umbrellas that protect you from the rain. We got a seat without a reservation and opted for a weekly special: pork schnitzel topped with Camembert. The service was friendly, the food came quickly, and the prices are fair. We'll be back. Located on Weinheim's market square, it's the preferred place for value for money.

Never again. Service was very unfriendly. There were five of us. One didn't want anything to eat, and the waitress told him he'd have to leave if he didn't eat. He ended up eating something anyway. Three of us had terrible stomach aches. Never again!

Highly recommended restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating on the market square, very friendly service, moderate prices, and incredibly good food. The Odenwald Vesperplatte is highly recommended, as are the tasty vegetarian dishes. A+.

Five stars for everything. I'll mention the €1.50 overpriced price for everything, but what restaurant these days still thinks, "It was cheap, wow?" See the picture of what I got. If the cheese spaetzle with salad is good, you can be sure that everything is, right? Yes. I think they served a drink too. The ambiance (outside) was good and also designed for the adventurous, as the table setting is at a 45-degree angle; at times, it felt like a roller coaster (Europa Park, for example). Fits L23

We were served very friendly and attentive and sat well and ate deliciously. The taste is great - if you're hungry, you should order an appetizer or additional side dish.

Although only coffee and cake, the location still invites you to linger for a longer period of time (including the outdoor area). Friendly service and good value for money, also for the central location.

Very nice service, our food was all very tasty, it is very rustic here! The only negative point: All the clothes had to be put in the laundry that same evening because they smelled like the kitchen and it was very loud so we could hardly understand each other. But in summer you can sit outside again!

Had dinner there today with the family despite the store being full. Service was super nice. The food arrived at the table quickly and tasted very good. The portion was sufficient so the price was right. We'll be back even though we're almost 100 km away.

If you just want drinks, not the place to go. They want you out asap. Food is expensive, you pay for the location. There are better places.

I only had dessert and wine but it was really good! Amazing wine and the dessert was superb! The service was really good too very polite and attentive. I left my phone in the bathroom and I had to rush back and just when I arrived a lady had found my phone. She was a German lady, so so nice!! 😊 people here are incredibly kind.

On Saturday we went to Diebsloch for dinner with our two kids. The entire team was extremely nice and also super open-minded towards the children. There was even a small box of crayons given away. The food was also very tasty! Really high praise, we felt really comfortable

Very well prepared and damn tasty food! A lot of it is homemade, seasonal and really fresh. You sit comfortably in a beautiful environment. The ladies in service were great too! :)

Probably the most visited restaurant in Weinheim! Overall, our visit to Diebesloch was good, the veal liver was tasty but not outstanding and the two wines were unfortunately below average. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant, but with different dishes and drinks. You can sit outside very nicely and the service was also great. Be sure to reserve in advance.

We were in the restaurant today with a guest from Brazil 🇧🇷, ate Maultaschen with chanterelles and cordon bleu, everything tasted great, As a souvenir for our guest from Brazil, we asked for beer mats and were surprised by the boss with two additional Hefeweizen beer glasses. Thank you very much ❣️

Wir waren Mittwochs um 16.30 Uhr mit einer Gruppe von 18 Personen in der Gaststätte zum Essen. Wir hatten uns vorab angemeldet und mit dem Wirt vereinbart, einen Tag vorher die gewählten Essen durchzugeben. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, das Essen kam nach ca. 15-20 Minuten an die Tische und alles war sehr lecker! Besonders loben möchten wir das freundliche Serviceteam, das auf alle Wünsche einging und immer guter Laune war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

!!!Staff makes fun of customers!!! We asked for a straw for the drinks, these straws were touched at one end with the bare hand which is not exactly hygienic after you didn't even wash your hands after serving and clearing 3 tables... so we asked for more straws and did so The staff simply noticed this, the young lady took note of this, went to the counter and made fun of us in front of her colleagues, who also found the whole thing amusing. You can make fun of God and the world, but you should try not to do it at an open window. After paying, I asked another waitress (politely) that you don't give simple constructive criticism to customers needs to be made so inappropriately funny. This was laughed at and simply said: “we all always grasp at straws in the middle...”. This statement is also very borderline. Short version: hygiene is not valued in this shop, spoons were served dirty in the food and straws were touched at the ends with bare hands... a mystery to me.. The food tastes very good, I highly recommend this place for people who like to eat extra bacteria. People with more standards should not eat here.

Super unprofessionelles Personal! Ich bat um einen Strohhalm für mein Getränk, da die junge Servicekraft mein Glas am oberen Rand gehalten hat (unhygienisch). Auch den Strohhalm berührte sie am Mündstück und wollte ihn so in mein Glas stecken. Daraufhin gab ich konstruktive Kritik (dass man einen Strohhalm mit einer Serviette umhüllt bringt) und wollte einen neuen Strohhalm. Dann ging die Bedienung hinein und machte sich vor ihren Kollegen lächerlich über mich. Wie dumm nur, dass ein großes Fenster direkt an der Bar ist und die Gäste das sehen können! Super unprofessionelles Handeln.. Das Essen ist gut, der Service leider eine Katastrophe.

A top restaurant in the middle of Weinheim. Ate a boiled schnitzel for the first time. Yummy. The starter for two was also good. Price performance ok.

Yes, warmer actually very satisfied. Blueberry iced tea, Hugo, but we sat a bit apart on steps covered with seat cushions at a small box as a table. We like that sort of thing, but it might not be for everyone. The Hugo came in a large tankard, very good, and extremely sweet. Personally, I like it a little more sour, but that's a matter of taste. Service was friendly and quick. Toilets are inside, 1st floor. This may be a problem for people with walking difficulties. Overall we are very satisfied!

Something like that has never happened to me in my entire life. Today we wanted to have a little something to eat and ordered 3 beers, water and 3 fries, then the waitress told us that we had to leave because we hadn't ordered a menu. Mind you, the restaurant wasn't well attended, there were still a number of tables free. Such behavior is terrible, I assume, since the prices are high and only tourists are welcome here, so you can easily ask them to pay. 😡

My visit to Diebsloch in Weinheim was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting, the food – particularly the cordon bleu and (probably) homemade fries – was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. A place I highly recommend for its authentic German cuisine and friendly vibe. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

My absolute favorite restaurant when I stay overnight in Weinheim on the way from south to north. We weren't disappointed again this year. The food and service were again excellent and we will remember the cozy Thieves' Hole until the next time
