Unfortunately only one star everywhere because I didn't get to enjoy the ambience and the food. So... unfortunately it's a shame

Yesterday we ate in the Kapuzinerstube for the first time. Everything is just right here! The service is first class: friendly, courteous, you are never left high and dry here. But never intrusive! We felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic but definitely not old-fashioned! Feel-good factor 10/10. The overall impression is rounded off by the really fantastic food. I've never been to a restaurant where every single course was so delicious and harmonious. You don't want your plate to be empty. The quality is great. Every course is lovingly prepared and to a very high standard! Price/performance absolutely justified. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here!

Sehr gemütliche alte Gaststube, sehr freundliches Personal und vor allem sehr leckeres Essen. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt genau gegart. Leider wohne ich zu weit weg um hier öfter reinzuschauen.

We came spontaneously with 4 adults and 4 small children. It was made possible for us to get a seat. The food was very, very good. Very tasty and also portions to fill you up. A nice, cozy, Christmas atmosphere. A service that we haven't experienced for a long time, extremely friendly, courteous and incredibly child-friendly. We were all very, very enthusiastic, our children were blown away! Such honest, lived hospitality! Thank you very much and we'll be back!

We picked up the food and were shocked at home. Not only was it disappointing in terms of taste - sometimes it was simply inedible. The cucumber and avocado salad consisted of far too sweet cucumbers, an unripe avocado and some lamb's lettuce - a strange combination. The chicken in the dishes was of poor quality, completely unseasoned and tasted correspondingly bland. The beef was extremely tough, and the orange-garlic sauce was more reminiscent of a watery soup with an indefinable taste. The lack of satay sauce was hardly of any importance, because it also had little to do with an authentic satay sauce. Overall, the meal was a bitter disappointment and left a lot to be desired in every respect.

If you’re looking for something to eat, choose this restaurant. At least here, you can see both positive and negative reviews. Unlike the other restaurant nearby (Hegaublick), which seems to have deleted any reviews they didn’t like.
