When we're on our way to Lake Constance, this is where our vacation begins. Delicious food at reasonable prices, very friendly and attentive staff, clean restrooms, and a beautiful view from the terrace. It's also one of the most beautiful rest stops I know.

Always worth a visit. Great views. Nice and very clean restrooms. Excellent coffee and staff. And they're available 24/7, even if you arrive late. For me, I always have to stop there for a quick bit before heading home after a long business trip. Thanks to the entire team.

Very clean and comfortably furnished. The prices are absolutely reasonable for a rest stop and not as exorbitant as at other rest stops. The service was also very friendly.

The parking lot, although large, fills up very quickly and tightly in the evening. I was parked from Friday to Monday. No incidents. Very beautiful places. I visited Engen, the nearest town, with pleasure. Shops are about 1.5 km away. A great place, except for the problem with getting water. There is nowhere to get it at the gas station and they refused to get any. They said go to the hotel.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food is very poor. Even the fries, in a €5 portion (not a children's portion, mind you), were old. I asked for a new one. They kindly "made" me a new portion, just something warmed up in oil. A shame. I didn't dare eat the salad... A shame

The restrooms are always super clean, and the 50-cent fee is absolutely worth it. The coffee tastes great, and I know from friends that the food is also very good.

We stop here every time we go to Lake Constance. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined considerably. And the prices are outrageous. A portion of fries cost €4.90, and they weren't particularly large. The fries were stale with everything. It could be better! The staff were moderately friendly. We've had better experiences. The restroom was clean, as always. I don't think we'll stop here for food again.

The toilets were clean and there were enough outdoor seats for a rest. The food offering urgently needs an update. A vegetarian dish at 16 euros is far too expensive, and there are no vegan snacks. Were there yesterday and ate 2x soup and something to drink for lunch and 2 croissants and it cost 30 euros, then we went to the toilet and thought since we ate here the toilet was free, nothing because each of us still had to pay 50 cents, we were called why we didn't pay Ah....

I arrived at the hotel door at 8:55 p.m. It was closed, but there was a notice with the phone number to call by 9 p.m. I have made several unsuccessful attempts. When I noticed that an employee from the room was at the bar, I knocked on the glass and tried to explain to her that I wanted a room that evening. He didn't even come to the door and from the gestures he made I could only tell that the reception was already closed. I still tried to insist and tell him from that side of the glass that it wasn't 9pm yet, that I had already tried to call the number given and that I wanted a room for one night. The gestural answer was that it was closed. In my country there is a saying that says: "The stain comes from the best cloth"... it applies to this experience, which I certainly will not repeat. Great view of the snow covered Swiss mountains. The cashier also had to prepare food, but she was still friendly and helpful, even though a bus had to be dispatched. Would love to stop here again. The two service stations in Hegau, along the lanes of the A81, are by far the most well-kept and friendliest that I know of in Germany. You feel comfortable here.
