The service is consistently excellent, and the young employees also do a great job and treat the guests really well. You really feel welcome here as a guest. The selection of dishes is very good, everything is very fresh and is always adapted to the season. Best restaurant in Engen and the surrounding area.

You immediately noticed that quality is important here. Every dish was a delight and exceeded my expectations. The service was also very nice and attentive. The staff was friendly and took care of our needs, which made the stay even more pleasant. It's always nice when you feel welcome as a guest. The price-performance ratio is okay. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the service you receive. I thought it was fair and would say that you really get something for your money here. We have been there several times in the past few years. Today we made a reservation and traveled from Konstanz again. When we were there there was no room for us. They should have offered us the reservation 30 minutes later. Now we are back to Konstanz.

Very disappointing, we made a reservation with you and then you come over and the waitress is overwhelmed because the place is still occupied. And asks us if she should seat the guests somewhere else? Very unpleasant and not nice for the others either. This should be planned better. We drove 40 minutes for nothing.

I've had such friendly and courteous service and many stars are great. Eating out here is really recommended. And at the end the dessert is a poem, a taste explosion so delicious. Prices are more than reasonable and should not be discussed because they are more than reasonable. It was a really nice evening all around, we spontaneously went without a reservation because thanks to everyone, it would be wonderful to come back.

Basically good food but the prices are beyond exorbitant. 20€ for a cheeseburger is more than excessive. At €58 for food (cheeseburger with mixed salad) + 1 drink + 1 dessert, it was absolutely awesome. In my opinion this doesn't justify the price.

Yesterday we ate in the Kapuzinerstube for the first time. Everything is just right here! The service is first class: friendly, courteous, you are never left high and dry here. But never intrusive! We felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic but definitely not old-fashioned! Feel-good factor 10/10. The overall impression is rounded off by the really fantastic food. I've never been to a restaurant where every single course was so delicious and harmonious. You don't want your plate to be empty. The quality is great. Every course is lovingly prepared and to a very high standard! Price/performance absolutely justified. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here!

Great food and great value for money. The Black Angus rump steak, the Burger Delux and the mixed salad really tasted delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. I can really recommend the Kapuzinerstube. If you want to eat good burgers and steak, this is the place for you, and of course there are other dishes too.

I give my favorite restaurant 5 stars in all categories! The ambience is very nice, whether we eat inside or outside, we always feel very comfortable. The service is always very polite and very attentive. And the food is simply great every time! The menu is nicely laid out, which once again shows how much they care about serving quality! And they do it very well! I can definitely recommend taking a look at the wine list, there you will find regional wines, but also southern wines. The selection is definitely broad. Were there for the first but certainly not the last time. The food was excellent, incredibly tasty, harmonious, meat very tender. Dessert is a dream! The service was attentive, quick and very entertaining. Every question was answered and requests were taken into account. We haven't had service like this in a long time and we're not used to it anymore. Many others could follow an example. Everything is really taken care of here. We were also impressed by the beautiful handmade dishes in which the dishes are lovingly served. Our expectations were far exceeded and actually 5 stars is far too little.

Von Freiburg kommend auf dem Weg ins Allgäu in der Kapuzinerstube zum Mittagessen Rast gemacht. Und: es gab nicht nur eine ausgezeichnete Küche sondern als Sahnehäubchen auch noch eine ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung oben drauf. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren hier zehn Personen zum Mittagessen. Bei der Anmeldung teilte meine Schwiegertochter mit, dass mein Mann eine Knollenallergie hat. Mein Mann erhielt zu jeder Speise, eine genaue Deklaration der diversen Gewürze. Er entschied sich schließlich für ein Rumpsteak, en point gebraten. Wir hatten insgesamt Salat Burrata, die Flat oder den Antipasti Teller. Dazu erhielt jeder sein eigenes Brot. Schon allein an der Vorspeise war sich jeder einig, dass sein Essen vorzüglich war. Bei den Hauptgänge war unter anderem Mais, Hähnchen, Rinder Schulter (allein der Teller sah aus wie ein perfektes Gemälde), ein Spezialburger, Tagliatelle mit Garnelen und Lachs. die Beilagen, egal, ob Spätzle, Nudeln oder Kartoffelecken waren genau richtig. Gemüse, der Saison war perfekt gegart und die Saucen einfach hervorragend. Das Personal war enorm entgegenkommend. Zu Beginn die Beratung bei der Weinauswahl und während dem ganzen Essen der Service. Eindeutig sind fünf Punkte zu wenig!

War heute wieder mal dorthin eingeladen und es hat sich wieder bestätigt und gelohnt. Der Service ist einfach besonders nett und freundlich und dabei trotzdem professionell. Und mein Pfeffersteak ist fast nicht zu toppen. Auch meine Frau war von ihrem Salat mit Garnele sehr begeistert. Ich sollte noch öfters hingehen, es lohnt sich wirklich. Gestern mit Freunden dagewesen. Der Service war wieder sehr nett und freundlich, überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Auch vom Essen waren alle begeistert. Daher wiederhole ich meine Bewertung vom letzten Mal ganz einfach.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen dort zum Abendessen. Unser Platz war draußen im Wintergarten. Dieser war mit einer weiteren Gruppe und Einzeltischen gut besucht. Das Essen war hervorragend. Allerdings empfanden wir den Service recht schlecht. Lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke, das Personal, welches Hauptsächlich aus Azszubildenden bestand, war unsicher und auch sehr langsam. Als Dessert wurde 2x ein Pudding mit einer extra Kugel Eis bestellt. Dieses Dessert wollten wir zusammen essen. Stattdessen bekamen wir zuerst den Pudding und dann viel später und erst nach 2x fragen, das Eis. Auch der Hauptgang wurde nicht gleichzeitig serviert. Das Restaurant ist gut und das Essen hervorragend, nur passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht zusammen.

Waren gerade da.Essen war sehr lecker, die Ambient war schön, aber am besten war der neue Kellner Luca Torraco. Er hat eine spitzen Leistung abgeliefert, er war freundlich und hat einen guten Humor, dieser junge Mann hat eine rosige Zukunft.

Teller war viel zu voll geladen, die Spätzle viel zu weich, matschig,ohne Geschmack. Das Marktgemüse war ebenfalls sehr wässrig.
