Essen OK, aber Service mies. Reservierter & zugesicherter Tisch war dann doch besetzt. Fast kalten Reis zu servieren, ist schon schlecht, dann aber diesen - nachdem man um eine Aufwärmung gebeten hat - nach 30 Sekunden wieder genau so lauwarm auf den Tisch zu stellen, das ist schon dreist. Service auch langsam und unzuverlässig. Es steht nichts auf dem Tisch, kein Salz, kein Pfeffer, erst recht keine asiatischen Gewürze - wie überall üblich. Alles muss einzeln bestellt werden. Bestellungen werden vergessen und müssen 2 bis 3-mal bestellt werden.

We had only heard good things about this restaurant and also loved the tapas concept. Unfortunately, after our visit, I can neither understand the good Google reviews here nor satisfy my inner Monk, who was hoping for a great vegan restaurant. Drinks: We had two different sodas. Both had little flavor - kind of like diluting plain juice with too much sparkling water. Little flavor accompanied by strange acidity and no balance of sweetness that I would expect in a lemonade. Food: Where do you start? The presentation in the small bowls is great and looks great. At first glance, the dishes made a fresh and good impression...but not at second glance. Our radish salad, which was actually supposed to be a papaya salad, was anything but fresh and the breaded/fried items had a clearly rancid note of old fry fat. In particular, some of the silken tofu sticks with corn flake breading were not edible. The sauces were good, nothing special, probably not homemade. Unfortunately, the BaoBun didn't appeal to me either. My highlight were the dumplings filled with mushrooms and tofu, but unfortunately here too: frying fat was too old. Service and ambience: very nice hosts, great and clean ambience. I have absolutely no complaints here! Overall, I can't give it more than 3 stars because it wasn't much fun to eat some of the food - on the one hand because of the freshness and on the other hand because of the one-sidedness of the salad, for example. Since we still felt comfortable thanks to the ambience and service, a worse rating would not be justified, even if we probably wouldn't come back.

Just disgusting! My burger was swimming in oil and was absolutely not worth the price! After the eatable part of the burger, I had a bad stomach ache. I wouldn't recommend...

Tasty food and lots of it! Cheap price too, especially if you take advantage of the lunchtime deal. Great for veggies and vegans.

Phenomenally delicious food. We tried our way through the tapas section and were full and happy! Be sure to order the edamame, the tastiest we've had so far! Also very important: leave room for dessert. What Bao Bao conjures up on the table as a baked banana with soy vanilla ice cream is out of this world! But we completely cleaned up everything else and received excellent service. This shop belongs at the top of the bucket list of vegan restaurants in Hamburg!

Excellent - From arriving to leaving, you feel like you are on a “wonderful journey of pleasure and pampering”. Pleasure meets senses or something like that...In any case, super tasty 😋 Had the “Aubergines Dream and Yellow & Green” and for dessert a delicious apple-marzipan crêpes plus a very good Pinot Grigio🥰

Unfortunately, the Golden Temple no longer exists; the Baborrito has moved into its rooms. It's a shame, the teahouse has been with me since I've lived in Hamburg, but that's the way it is. The new restaurant is a Mexican restaurant, highly recommended. A worthy successor!
