The food was great, the place is very cozy, the prices are incredible, and the staff was super friendly! All in all, it was a really lovely visit, and we can easily imagine going there again.

After five years of skipping it because our daughter wouldn't eat vegan, it was finally time for my wife's birthday this year. I'm a meat lover myself, and I have to say I didn't miss a thing when we ate here. Great service, nice atmosphere. We'll be coming here much more often in the future!

Visited on Saturday, March 22, 2025, around 8:30 p.m. Very good! A very friendly place and a lovingly crafted concept with a strong sense of conviction. I'm an omnivore, but today I was craving a hot and tasty soup. The udon noodle soup with fresh vegetables, delicate mushrooms, shredded soy, and the very good noodles was excellent. The restaurant is for anyone who enjoys light and healthy cuisine. So, it's much more than 'just' vegan. I wish the owners much success.

Went to vegan house with no idea that it was related to loving hut! It turned out it was basically a branch of loving hut but not named exactly that on maps! We sat outside which was very nice as it was 33 degrees! But the table had shade from the building. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful! The loving cha soy pieces were yummy! They were kind of as you would expect and the peanut dip was great. I really loved the vegan egg roll!!! It was made with tofu I think and had a kind of scrambled-ish texture inside. The wok vegetables were served with a very nice coconut cream sauce. I had kind of been craving a creamy food and this was perfect. I love that they served it with lots of vegetables which was lovely! Big portions and easy to get to as well!

We spontaneously stopped by Vegan House during our trip to Hamburg. The menu is entirely vegan, with a fantastic selection of delicious dishes. The food was delicious – fresh, flavorful, the "vegan duck" had a great texture, and the sauce was very good! The staff was very friendly. The two of us paid only €36 for an appetizer, main course, dessert, and drinks – very, very reasonable! Highly recommended!

I had lunch here and can only say good things about it. The rice noodles are perfectly prepared and taste delicious. I paired them with a delicious jasmine tea, and my vegetarian heart leapt. Very friendly staff. They take good care of their guests without being intrusive. Also, the price is reasonable. All lunch menus are €7.90, which is really good value for Hamburg.

Wir sind spontan vorbei gekommen auf der Suche nach einem günstigen veganen Restaurant. Das Essen war grandios. Für ca. 20 Euro bekommt man hier eine ausgezeichnete Mahlzeit. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich und bietet etwas für jeden Geschmack. Bei unserem nächsten Hamburg-Besuch werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

An insider tip for vegans and vegetarians in Hamburg's city center. Everything I've eaten so far has been delicious. -- If you bring a freezer container, you can buy some ingredients there and prepare them yourself at home.

We eat there regularly and have always been very satisfied!!! Clear recommendation even to non-vegans ;)!

In terms of the quality of the food, the restaurant was worth 6 stars for a long time, even before the big "C" - the cuisine was fantastically good. We often went there with a group and almost everyone was very enthusiastic. Unfortunately, there is now too much finished product that doesn't taste good - this also applies to the other Loving Hut at Berliner Tor. When it comes to vegetable dishes, you can almost look for the vegetables with a magnifying glass: often just a lot of sauce, rice and meat substitutes. After two or three disappointments, our favorite Hamburg restaurant has unfortunately been history for some time. Savings were made here on the quality of the food in order to keep the price stable - that's understandable, but it rarely works well in a restaurant. We would have preferred to pay a little more for the same quality. The owner family is super nice and the vegan orientation of all the Loving Huts and the corresponding ambience are great - maybe. the quality can be brought back up again. With today's cost-optimized storage of finished ingredients, this will certainly be difficult. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Thank you for the lovely answer. Well, if it's not finished products, unfortunately it "only" tasted like it. But we'll come to you again and be happy to convince you again! Because like all of us, everyone has a not so good phase sometimes. One more thing that we noticed last time: The menus used to be simpler and clearer (until about 2 years ago). One of the pioneers when it comes to purely vegan selections and even eleven years after our first visit, we can still recommend the food without reservation.

Super tasty vegan food and the service was very nice and recommended this pancake filled with vegan shrimp as a small dinner. The Vietnamese salad was also very tasty.

We ate different dishes together. You can put together a lot and order individual main dishes in small portions. The food was incredibly good, the waitresses and owners were very friendly and funny. And we could sit outside which was also very nice. In addition, there wasn't much going on and you had peace and quiet while eating. The price for everything we ordered was totally justified. So all in all I can only recommend it!

In my opinion one of the best vegan Asian restaurants in Hamburg. The Loving is located on the edge of the Großneumarkt. There are various seats, but the store is not huge. Everything is decorated more like a snack bar, but you can still sit comfortably. The concept: All dishes are vegan, with a lot of imitation meat made from tofu or seitan. There are various stir-fries, curries, rice and pasta dishes as well as cold dishes such as salads. The focus is on Vietnamese cuisine, but there are also Thai dishes and Indonesian-inspired dishes. In contrast to the well-known "Vegan House" (and its various imitations under other names), the focus here at the Loving Hut is not on starters, but on a large variety of main courses and many of them with imitation meat. I think the food is really delicious, the vegan food is lovingly cooked here. The service is always friendly and courteous. The prices are super fair, I think they're cheap for the quality you get. I can therefore more than recommend the Loving Hut - even for meat eaters who want to try something new.

Very cute vegan with lots of sweet slogans and quaint signage, a place with lots of great faux meat replacement recipes and tons of fresh drinks. Highly recommended.

SO GUT OMG. Eine mega Auswahl zum Mittagstisch, klare Empfehlung sind hier die BBQ-Spieße. Suppe/Frühlingsrollen gibt es vorweg für ein paar Cent mehr. Getränke preislich auch mehr als ok. Service super, Ambiente auch top. Immer wieder gerne.

Ich habe jetzt zweimal dort gegessen und fand die Qualität leider gar nicht gut: Fertigsoßen, die Fleischersatzprodukte sehr pappig, altmodische Tellersprache.

Sehr gutes Essen, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Die Sommerrollen sind wunderbar, Frühlingsrollen selbstgemacht, kein Großmarktfutter, Das Highlight war der Papayasalat: köstlich, Auch die Veggi- Pho ganz toll. Es wird sehr genau auf Gluten geachtet, man kann nichts alles, aber so Einiges gluten-free bekommen, Bedienung freundlich, Schnell und zuvorkommend

Mein absolutes Lieblings Restaurant. Das Essen ist so super lecker. Es geht immer schnell und alle sind sehr nett. Ich gehe dort sehr oft essen und die Qualität des Essens ist gleichbleibend gut. Es sind einfach die besten Sommerrollen und die beste Sauce dazu. Habe bisher noch keinen guten Vergleich in Hamburg gefunden. Weiter so 😊

Wir speisten in diesem Restaurant während eines Kurzurlaubes in Hamburg. Das Personal ist äußerst nett. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten, welche auch für Nichtvegetarier /-veganer wie mich sehr lecker sind.

Really good, nice staff and most people in our company wear happy with the food. Even the ones who normally don’t like vegan food. Price worthy, but maybe not order the tempeh.

Wir waren heute hier. Die Besitzer sind sehr gut mit Allergien umgegangen und haben mir angeboten alles, was möglich war, ohne Allergene herzustellen. Es hat wirklich gut geschmeckt und war frisch zubereitet. Wir hatten die Sommerrollen, Phó und rotes Curry.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, allerdings hab es einige Unstimmigkeiten mit der Darstellung der glutenfreien Möglichkeiten auf der Speisekarte. Auf Nachfrage ließ sicher aber alles klären. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker, es ist win gemütlicher Laden in dem man sich sehr wohl fühlen kann.

Tolle vegane Gerichte die wirklich schmackhaft sind, Fleisch oder Fisch werden keineswegs vermisst. Einzig die Portionen dürften gern etwas größer ausfallen. Woran auch noch „gearbeitet“ werden sollte, ist die doch recht lange Wartezeit. Obwohl das Restaurant nur ca. zur Hälfte gefüllt ist, musste ich schon bis zu 45 Minuten aufs Essen warten - für eine Mittagspause definitiv zu lang.

Super leckeres Essen, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung und faire Preise. Sind zufällig dran vorbei und einfach rein. Hat sich definitiv gelohnt, auch wenn man nicht rein vegan lebt, einfach mal ausprobieren!

Das Essen finde ich für einen Mittagstisch sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind auch gut. Ich mag den Beilagesalat mit Nüssen und auch den feingewürzten Bratreis. Sehr groß ist die Locing Hut nicht und der Fernseher mutet mit seinen Botschaften etwas seltsam an, aber zum Mittagstisch sehr zu empfehlen.

Obwohl ich kein Veganer bzw Vegetarier bin, das Essen hat super lecker geschmeckt. Ich werde sicherlich wenn ich in der Nähe bin wiederkommen.

Bit of luck when I found this place as I was walking all the way to the U-Boot museum and made a mental note to come back for lunch. There's a tremendous number of options, but I just opted for the lunch deal of soup and Pho Hanoi (I think). Both were delicious, though I thought the noodle portions was small, or maybe I was just so hungry it didn't seem filling. Would definitely come again the next time I'm in Hamburg.

We found this restaurant on Happy Cow, and otherwise would not have thought to go in - the outside made it look like a takeaway/low quality, but we had been convinced by the reviews and were very happy we took the chance! As others have said it is 6,90 euros at lunchtime for a small soup/spring rolls and a main dish. The soup is light and refreshing and the rolls are a perfect snack whilst you wait for the main. I had the rice, vegetables, soya chunks and peanut sauce and my partner had the Pho. We both really loved our dishes as they felt really fresh whilst also full of taste. Quick and friendly service, great price and delicious dishes - what's not to like? They also sell soya chunks that I assume they make themselves!

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Hamburg. Three of us shared three dishes with rice, all for under £20 a head. A lot of the dishes include meat substitutes (soya, tempeh etc), but there are other choices, such as the mixed vegetables with cashew nuts (delicious!). The restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, but the menu is in both German and English, and there’s a good range of soft drinks - I’d particularly recommend the rhubarb spritz!

Von außen sah es nicht gerade einladend aus. Auch das Ambiente drinnen finde ich nicht durchdacht. Aber es kommt schließlich (zumindest für mich) auf den Geschmack an. Die Gerichte die ich bisher probiert habe, waren super lecker.

Das Essen ist vegan, einigermassen lecker und wird schnell gebracht wenn man danach fragt. Leider sehr fettig und schwer für veganes Essen.. Wenn man unbedingt was veganes in der Region braucht, kann ichs empfehlen aber würde kein zweites mal gehen.

The Loving Hut offers a wide variety of vegan food choices. Their “Vleisch” is excellent, soft while chewy and tasty. Try some of the appetizers as well. Their beer selection is all none alcoholic and one even organic. A lot of their produce is organic....
