We had only heard good things about this restaurant and also loved the tapas concept. Unfortunately, after our visit, I can neither understand the good Google reviews here nor satisfy my inner Monk, who was hoping for a great vegan restaurant. Drinks: We had two different sodas. Both had little flavor - kind of like diluting plain juice with too much sparkling water. Little flavor accompanied by strange acidity and no balance of sweetness that I would expect in a lemonade. Food: Where do you start? The presentation in the small bowls is great and looks great. At first glance, the dishes made a fresh and good impression...but not at second glance. Our radish salad, which was actually supposed to be a papaya salad, was anything but fresh and the breaded/fried items had a clearly rancid note of old fry fat. In particular, some of the silken tofu sticks with corn flake breading were not edible. The sauces were good, nothing special, probably not homemade. Unfortunately, the BaoBun didn't appeal to me either. My highlight were the dumplings filled with mushrooms and tofu, but unfortunately here too: frying fat was too old. Service and ambience: very nice hosts, great and clean ambience. I have absolutely no complaints here! Overall, I can't give it more than 3 stars because it wasn't much fun to eat some of the food - on the one hand because of the freshness and on the other hand because of the one-sidedness of the salad, for example. Since we still felt comfortable thanks to the ambience and service, a worse rating would not be justified, even if we probably wouldn't come back.

My visit to this Asian vegan restaurant was simply fantastic. I was really impressed by the variety and creativity of the vegan dishes. Every bite was a taste experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff, although a little overwhelmed (due to the busyness), were always friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegan cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. An absolute must for all Asian cuisine lovers! 💚

The best vegan restaurant I've been to! Really interesting and unusual dishes that are consistently unique and taste good. A large selection! I love the concept of vegan Vietnamese cuisine and am very excited about the implementation. Truly a unique restaurant that can only be recommended!

There were three of us and we had a selection of different “tapas”. It was really tasty and versatile for the North German palate. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together and the poor soundproofing makes it very loud. You definitely have to reserve a table, unfortunately nothing can happen spontaneously, at least from 5 p.m. on the weekend. But we'd love to come back because of the delicious food!

Food is very tasty. However, you have to make compromises when it comes to price-performance. In addition, payment is only possible in cash, which we didn't know beforehand.

The food was fantastic, we dined there two times during our stay and the food was fantastic both times, the staff were welcoming and we didn't have to wait long to place our order, to receive the food or to have the bill delivered when we asked for it, which seems to be a problem at every other restaurant in this city. It's a very popular place so book a table in advance if you plan to dine at peak hour. I will definitivt come here again when i visit hamburg next time.

The food is very tasty, great non-alcoholic drinks! However, you feel a little unwelcome and rushed, it seems as if the staff are instructed to get the tables free as quickly as possible.

The food and drinks were delicious. The ambience is relatively narrow and a bit noisy. Above all, only cash payment in 2024 uff 🙄🤦‍♂️ how customer-unfriendly do you want to be... I really don't have the words, it's a shame. Definitely a no-go for me next time unfortunately.

Everything is a bit tight. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared but the taste was a bit lukewarm. Overall it was OK, but I actually expected more.

For the hunger for the Official Part. Ambience great. The Hanoi soup with udon noodles was also delicious. There is only vegetarian food. It's not a shame to eat less meat.

A quick note, the restaurant is called Bodhi not an vegan house. One of the best Asian vegan places I’ve been to. The variety of dishes is insane and feel quite unique. The service is also super fast even if the restaurant is completely filled out. Their dumplings were mind blowing. The fried wantans and the papaya also were delicious. The summer bowl tofu has a very tasty marinate and it all fits well together. The hibiscus iced tea is also very nice. I would recommend to get a lot more dishes to share rather than individual mains here. They only accept cash payments here.

This place was amazing. I went with two kids & my hubby. I endulged & loved every mouth full. I'd recommend booking on weekends. We went on a Sunday evening it was still busy. The tofu sticks with spicy raspberry dip were heaven. I thought the staff were kid, attentive and allowed us to ask for extra straws or spoons for the kids to faff around a bit. I've never tried most of this food before it was delightful, tantalizing, I recommend it highly, also for non-vegans. They have recently renamed to Bodhi Vegan Living and redecorated, new menus but the concept & menu is very similar, it has been upgrades.

Amazing food and as the name suggests, everything’s vegan! But you really don’t feel like your missing meat or anything! Also can really recommend the Golden Soup and the Maracuja Schorle!

Mega leckeres Essen! Nur zu empfehlen. Am besten vorher einen Platz reservieren und darauf achten, dass dieser nicht direkt am Eingang ist, da die Tür doch recht häufig auf und zu geht :)

Great vegan restaurant in Hamburg. It is great food even if you are not a vegan I would still recommend a visit since it is one of the best asian restaurants I have been to. I have seen some reviews complaining about the service and we did not experience anything negative at our visit except that the server forgot to let us pay when we asked him the first time. Other than that we had a very pleasant experience.

This place was freaking delicious and every time I have to visit Hamburg, I'll definitely go. The service was also great and the atmosphere in general was really nice. I didn't take a picture of it sadly, but the Green Roles were just out of this world. Really. Try them, you won't regret it.

Our best vegan dinner in Hamburg - tastes and blends that went beyond the usual vegan palette. We ordered 4 smaller dishes and shared, perfect amount of food for us. Only sad thing was that we didn’t have room for more.. Will definitely return!

Hübscher Laden, sehr nette Bedienungen und ein unglaublich gutes Essen!

Sensationelle Geschmacksvielfalt, wir hatten 2 Bowls der Big Five, das war reichhaltig und mehr als genug. Das nächste Mal nehmen wir bestimmt mehrere kleine Speisen, der Variantenreichtum ist zu groß, um sich bei 1 oder 2 Besuchen durchzukosten! Sehr nette Bedienung, cooles Ambiente mit offener Küche.

Das Essen war gut - nicht herausragend, aber für einen relativ günstigen Preis war es wirklich okay. Ich würde pro Person ca. 4 einzelne kleine Gerichte empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist nicht so schön. Es ist sehr sehr laut und teils wirklich super eng. Außerdem roch es sehr stark nach der Küche und dem Essen. Der Service wiederum war sehr nett und auch aufmerksam. Trotz voller Hütte kam das Essen schon nach wenigen Minuten.

Süßer, nicht zu großer Laden mit SEHR schönen Gerichten. Wie ein asiatischer Tapasladen. Es gibt Bowls oder viele kleine, vegane, Gerichte zum bestellen. Alle probierten Gerichte waren geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und sehr lecker. Der Cocktail war so fruchtig, dass man den Alkohol nicht schmeckte, war aber auf jeden Fall vorhanden, was sich wenig später bemerkbar machte ;) Besser reservieren oder zu Stoßzeiten ein wenig geduld mitbringen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und schaut, dass jeder happy ist

Wir waren zu zweit und bestellten 5 kleine Bowls die wir uns teilten. Jede einzelne Bowl war ein wahrer Genuss. Zum Dessert gab es einn sehr leckeres Mochi-Eis. Angenehmes Ambiente und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Absolute Empfehlung.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Man kann zu zweit verschiedene Bowls bestellen, teilen und sich durchprobieren. Freundliches Personal.

Wat een heerlijk eten, zoveel lekkers dat de keuze lastig is. Wij hebben allebei drie gerechten gekozen en alles gedeeld. Gezien de drukte waren we ondanks dat we niet gereserveerd hadden snel aan de beurt. Als je echt zeker van een plekje wilt zijn dan kun je beter reserveren.

Vi blev tiltrukket af de flotte serveringer vi så en dag i forbifarten. Spurgte efter et bord men der var optaget. Kort efter havde tjeneren alligevel fundet et bord til os. Maden er velsmagende og ser flot og indbydende ud. Priserne er rimelige, måske endda lave. Menuen overskuelig. Vi fik hver en hovedret (bowl) og delte 2 forretter og blev rigeligt mætte. Stedet kan varmt anbefales!

Vi er vilde med asiatisk mad - især vietnamesisk og fusion. Vi stillede os i kø til et bord og vores forventninger var høje. Efter 10 - 15 minutter fik vi, som lovet, et bord. På menu kortet fik vi valget mellem komplette måltider eller at sammensætte vores eget måltid af mindre retter. Vi valgte det sidste og at dele dem. Tjeneren rådede os til at vælge 2 små retter pr person. Det gjorde vi. Hold da op, det var lækkert! Sprøde wontons, marineret tofu i en tæt sauce med, sprøde forårsruller med chili sauce og en frisk og dejlig mango salat. Næste gang bestiller vi nok én ret mere til deling. Både fordi den ene gæst spiser mere end gennemsnittet, men især fordi der er for mange ærgerlige fravalg. Det hele var ganske enkelt vildt lækkert. Vi betragter os selv som velbevandrede indenfor det vietnamesiske køkken og rutinerede restaurantgæster - AN Vegetarian har vores varmeste anbefaling!

Buen sitio para comer comida vegana 🌱 Carta amplia variada y con recetas originales. La comida estaba muy buena. Como puntos negativos: el personal iba un poco desbordado y lento. Queriamos pedir mas comida o postres pero tardaron tanto en atendernos que se nos fue el hambre. Tardaron como 40 min en traernos la cuenta. Tampoco hablaban casi inglés. La carta es un poco compleja y no te ayudan porque no entienden casi inglés.

Das vegane Essen ist hervorragend. Abends ist es sehr voll. Frühzeitiges Kommen wäre gut. Im Innenbereich kann man reservieren. Manche Mitarbeiterinnen im Service sind sehr nett, manche nehmen einfach nur die Bestellung auf. Das Restaurant empfehle ich sehr gern.

Habe heute einen Geschenk-Gutschein gekauft. Plötzlich bekomme ich einen vergilbten DIN Lang-Umschlag mit Fenster in die Hand, in dem ein Kassenzettel und ein angetackerter EC-Beleg war. Wie soll ich denn sowas verschenken? Hat da mal irgendwer drüber nachgedacht? Frechheit! Wenn ich bei AldiTalk-Prepaid-Karte aufladen will, sieht der Kassenbon schöner aus als das, was hier Geschenk-Gutschein genannt wird.
