A very nice restaurant with friendly service. There's a wide selection of vegan dishes and Asian tapas! We were very satisfied and would gladly return!

We had the Hanoi soup and the pagoda noodles. The food was GREAT I would highly recommend

The food is very good & tasty. We normally go on our lunch break at work, but normal menu is better than mittafstisch. Service is also good & friendly, but a bit chaotic.

This is what gastronomy is all about! The food was excellent, the server was one of the friendliest and most accommodating we've ever had, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Even non-vegans like us are in good hands here!

Great restaurant with delicious food. The bowls and tapas are highly recommended; we ate our way through the menu. The drinks and cocktails are also very good. I can especially recommend the tofu coated in green rice with raspberry dip. Service was a bit odd, as we were moved for no apparent reason (the table remained empty during our stay), and we also noticed this with other guests. The service was friendly nonetheless, and our orders were taken quickly. Two years later: I was worried the restaurant might no longer exist – I spontaneously walked by, and luckily, it's still there. Even without a reservation, I was able to get a seat right away that evening. The waiters were very friendly this time, and the service was impeccable. When the Buddha bowl arrived, I almost cried a little because the food was so incredibly good. Whatever they do with the zucchini in it – keep it up! The tofu with puffed green rice is still available too – please never remove it from the menu. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Great restaurant with a special concept – only vegan dishes. The interior is beautifully harmonious, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. All the dishes taste good and are freshly prepared. Meat-based dishes are truly deceptively similar. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Only the mochi ice cream isn't as flavorful. We highly recommend a visit here, even for meat lovers!

We ate there as a family and experienced a complete nightmare. Thank you so much for that. We actually just wanted to spend a nice evening together as a family – instead, we witnessed a complete gastronomic failure. As soon as we walked in: a strange, musty, greasy smell that immediately puts your appetite off. But okay, we wanted to remain polite. The food? Incredibly bad. Everything tasted the same: stale, cheap, somehow rotten. The sauce smelled so pungently of dog food that my daughter didn't even want to touch the plate. We addressed it gently – no sympathy, no regrets. Instead, we received a rude, impertinent response: "That's just how it is with us – if you don't like it, then just don't eat it." Absolutely unsuitable for a family restaurant: No child-friendliness, no understanding, zero hospitality. The service was irritable, annoyed, and you constantly felt like you weren't welcome. In the end, we left hungry and disgusted – this wasn't a restaurant visit, but an outrage. Stay away from this place – absolutely unacceptable for families. Honestly: This place should be closed.

Fast & friendly service, phenomenal food!

Good things are often so close... If you spontaneously feel like eating delicious food in the evening, then Bodhi is the perfect address. As is often the case, we ordered to be picked up and as always we were not disappointed. Even as to-go, the dishes are beautifully presented and the portions are generous. The Crispy Dream Sushi is definitely worth recommending! The service is always courteous and attentive. You are greeted warmly and immediately feel at home. We're always happy to come back!

For lunch there was a delicious homemade lemonade and authentic vegan Pad Thai. Large portions and fair price. The crispy tofu sticks with fruity hot sauce seem to be available in every vegan Asian restaurant... but they are also great here. The service was very attentive and on point ✨🤝

Yummy. Good tapas, good portions. Three pieces are easily enough for a good dinner. Atmo is so average, it's really loud, you can't actually have a conversation. But like most vegan houses, the food is good.

What I experienced in this “restaurant” was not only disappointing, but downright disrespectful, shameful and shameful. I reserved a table for 10 people by phone a week in advance - for my birthday. The lady on the phone confirmed the reservation several times. I explicitly repeated everything to be sure - I was told clearly: "Yes, write everything down." I even wanted to speak to the owner because it was a special occasion – he was “not there,” I was told. What came next was an absolute shock. On the day of the reservation, we were in front of the restaurant on time - a family of five in front of us was turned away after minutes of discussion, despite having made an online reservation! The restaurant was packed - and it was immediately clear: there would never have been room for 10 people anyway. Our reservation? “There isn’t,” we were told with a cold expression. No apology, no solution - instead I was accused of lying in front of my entire family. When I showed the waiter (who suddenly turned out to be the owner) what number I had called - his number - he simply ignored it. No sense of guilt, no insight. Instead, I was brushed off like an annoying customer. In the end we were just thrown out the door on a Saturday evening without any plan. On my birthday. The absolute lowest point: the way people are treated. Unprofessional, cold, arrogant. This restaurant apparently thrives on intentionally deceiving guests, “forgetting” reservations, and then embarrassing people in front of everyone. Conclusion: If you want to ruin a nice evening, be insulted, treated disrespectfully and then thrown away like garbage - then you've come to the right place. I can only advise everyone else: avoid this place like the plague. There are many good restaurants in the city - this is not one of them. Here the customer is worth nothing, honesty is met with suspicion, and there is no room for empathy. Never again. And I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through such an experience.

Good food, not a long wait, friendly service. But: The menu and prices on Insta, Facebook and Google Drive are sometimes very outdated. And card payments (incomprehensibly) are only possible from 30 euros.

The food was delicious. However, I wouldn't visit the restaurant again. We were there on a Thursday evening and had a reservation. About an hour and a half after arriving, we were asked to pay and make room for the next guests. It creates a feeling of being rushed. Furthermore, the tables are extremely close together to keep the place full, which also makes it extremely loud and difficult to hear yourself. In my opinion, this isn't the place for a cozy, relaxed meal with friends.

We reserved a table for 12 people via telephone. When we got there we were turned away after a long discussion. They wouldn't even accept a reservation for such a large group. The waiter tried to excuse himself and said that we had called another Bodhi, but we were able to prove it. A smaller group in front of us was turned away; they had booked seats via a reservation app and were turned away there too. It's a shame, but that was our last visit to this store

A nice shop, also very tasty food, but the service is a bit unfriendly. I asked what was in the frame because I don't like algae and when I asked if there was algae in it, she said "we are a vegan restaurant" then I explained that I don't like algae and that's good then there are none in there. Then I got my ramen with seaweed. That was a bit stressful. Also, the frames weren't really hot, just warm. But the taste was delicious. The tofu was especially good.

Although we showed up at short notice with four people on New Year's Eve without a reservation, we received a very friendly welcome and were given a great table by the window. I found the selection of different dishes exciting and, above all, sufficient. 2 of us got a salad and a bowl, my 13 year old daughter and I ordered 7 small bowls with a variety of specialties. Everything was absolutely great - even for us as “meat eaters”. The various sweet dishes for dessert were also incredibly tasty. Prices are completely ok, the atmosphere is very nice and matches the theme of the food. It was a great experience and we will come back next time we visit Hamburg :-)

We spontaneously went to Bodhi and are thrilled. It was very tasty and plentiful. It would be great if there were any additives listed (there were only allergens). When asked, it was said that none were used, which didn't come across as entirely convincing because the service seemed a little overwhelmed. But that didn't put a damper on our visit.

Excellent discovery! I'm used to vegan Asian restaurants, but Germany never ceases to surprise me... An unbeatable quantity-quality-price ratio: for 50 euros for two, a variety of dishes as hearty as they are delicious and two drinks! It happens quickly, and it disappears just as soon in our stomachs 🤩 We particularly liked the fried tofu and the coconut curry... However, we recommend not having the sweet potatoes with the truffle mayonnaise - I thought it was going to be a specific dish, but in fact they are just fries.

Unfortunately, the map that is stored online is not up to date... We went there and were presented with a completely different menu, which is why we left again because it no longer had what we wanted to eat there. It's a shame about the An Vegan House, both the interior design and the menu were much nicer before!

Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment! It looked good, but it wasn't fresh and everything came after 5 minutes. The 6 different tapas all had a similar fryer taste.

Great Service and Food, they let us in even without a reservation and we kind of overstayed which once again we’re sorry for. But the food is so good!! And the person (sorry, i’m bad at remembering names) who served us, was super nice and attentive even though the place was packed. Definitely recommend Peanut cream and Buddha Rolls there!

Bodhi is a very tasty vegan restaurant with a delicious Asian flavour. The restaurant is located in a very lively part of Hamburg and offers vegan food in different Asian cuisine styles. Mostly dominated by tofu variations and rice noodles. What I enjoyed is the different starters they offer and the vegan sushi. I had the Pagoda Dream since I love udon noodles. It was very tasty, although I am not the biggest fan of tofu. Overall a very tasty dish! The edamame as a starter was perfect for all the people at the table. The cocktails are also very tasty and include very exotic flavors! I enjoyed their signature bodhi cocktail. As a dessert we ordered the Mochi Ice, which was very tasty with an added mango sauce. Sadly the restaurant only accepts cash, which for me will always be a minus point. Especially if the place has dishes which can add up to a pricey bill. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I really enjoyed the decorations making it a very beautiful place.

Unfortunately, it's simply not recommended on the weekend. They get people through as quickly as possible. There are always people standing around because they overbook reservation times. You don't feel valued as a customer.

We try to dine at Bodhi at least once a quarter. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and attentive. We can also recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails.

I was there two years ago and to this day I still sometimes think about how much I liked it :)

We had made a reservation for 5 people, but unfortunately had to leave without getting a table. Then why is it possible to reserve?

This weekend we were in Hamburg for the first time and came here based on the recommendation of the Instagram channel @veganewunder. And what can I say - it was simply wonderful! The food was delicious, the atmosphere (as far as we could tell because we had a seat outside) was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. “Unfortunately” it was already very full in the shop, but a new table was quickly opened outside. Next time we'll make a reservation :)

The service is super quick and polite, the food is very tasty and everything is vegan. I can't try the different small and large bowls often enough. My favorites are the Banh Bao and the Regeneration Bowl. I always enjoy coming here

The food at this restaurant was really good, but the service was an absolute disaster. The waitress was extremely rude and treated me like I've never been treated in a restaurant before. After I received the bill, she gave me the card reader to make the payment. I successfully paid with my cell phone using my American Express card. But instead of simply accepting the payment, she suddenly started screaming because she said I had paid with the "wrong" card. She was completely beside herself and accused me of not asking first if I could pay with this card. At no point did she mention that American Express could be a problem. Your behavior was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I felt extremely uncomfortable and was shocked at the way I was treated. Although the food was good, due to the disrespectful and unfriendly treatment by the staff, I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will never come back.

The food was amazing! I love the "tapas" options so you get to eat a little bit of everything without having to choose. The crunchy tofu and the curry were my favourite. And its all vegan! The only thing that was confusing is that the name of the restaurant has changed. Still highly recommend!!

I always enjoy eating there. The food is always beautifully prepared and tastes fresh and delicious. 🍱 I would be happy if the vegan duck, which tastes incredibly good, was added to the permanent menu. In my opinion, the prices of the drinks are too high, but I just skip them now and just enjoy the food.

We had the papaya salad, sushi and the peanut cream shrimp, all of which were very nice. The service was very nice and pointed out straight away that (at least at that point) payment was only possible in cash. The price is a little more expensive than going out for burgers or something, but it's very worth it! Also very tasty drinks✨

Fat, horny, eel tails I want that. What do I want: eel tails. There are white eel tails on the beach. A quite interesting journey through a sweet, savory and slimy landscape. Unfortunately no card payment.

Bodhi - Vegan living is written on the front door. This and "An Vegan House" are the same store. A bit confusing. So if you are looking for this tent, then Bodhi is the place to be!

The former An Vegan House now has a different name, but the concept and food remain the same. The service was very nice and attentive, the quality of the food and the price-performance ratio were also very good - be careful, only cash payment is possible. One star deducted because the toilets were extremely dirty, that's not possible in this price range!

A really, really good vegan restaurant, colorful and delicious food, a wide variety of cocktail dishes. The vegetables are fresh, the food is seasoned with good taste. It's fun to sit and eat. The fried food had no feeling and taste of oil, excellently made. The waiter was a bit aggressive (the restaurant was packed) It is recommended to eat there, there is still a taste for more!
