Great Service and Food, they let us in even without a reservation and we kind of overstayed which once again we’re sorry for. But the food is so good!! And the person (sorry, i’m bad at remembering names) who served us, was super nice and attentive even though the place was packed. Definitely recommend Peanut cream and Buddha Rolls there!

Great lunch. Very friendly service. Please note no card payment possible. The menu is varied and I have many favorite dishes, actually every one so far.

Bodhi is a very tasty vegan restaurant with a delicious Asian flavour. The restaurant is located in a very lively part of Hamburg and offers vegan food in different Asian cuisine styles. Mostly dominated by tofu variations and rice noodles. What I enjoyed is the different starters they offer and the vegan sushi. I had the Pagoda Dream since I love udon noodles. It was very tasty, although I am not the biggest fan of tofu. Overall a very tasty dish! The edamame as a starter was perfect for all the people at the table. The cocktails are also very tasty and include very exotic flavors! I enjoyed their signature bodhi cocktail. As a dessert we ordered the Mochi Ice, which was very tasty with an added mango sauce. Sadly the restaurant only accepts cash, which for me will always be a minus point. Especially if the place has dishes which can add up to a pricey bill. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I really enjoyed the decorations making it a very beautiful place.

Damn delicious. We got here by chance. It was definitely worth it. We ordered several smaller tapas and shared them. Everything tasted wonderful.

Unfortunately, it's simply not recommended on the weekend. They get people through as quickly as possible. There are always people standing around because they overbook reservation times. You don't feel valued as a customer.

We try to dine at Bodhi at least once a quarter. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and attentive. We can also recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails.

The food and service were top and absolutely recommended. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Hamburg.

We had made a reservation for 5 people, but unfortunately had to leave without getting a table. Then why is it possible to reserve?

This weekend we were in Hamburg for the first time and came here based on the recommendation of the Instagram channel @veganewunder. And what can I say - it was simply wonderful! The food was delicious, the atmosphere (as far as we could tell because we had a seat outside) was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. “Unfortunately” it was already very full in the shop, but a new table was quickly opened outside. Next time we'll make a reservation :)

The service is super quick and polite, the food is very tasty and everything is vegan. I can't try the different small and large bowls often enough. My favorites are the Banh Bao and the Regeneration Bowl. I always enjoy coming here

Really delicious vegan food, Fun concept that gives you the option to try a lot of things at reasonable prices. When we were there the payment was only in cash.

The food at this restaurant was really good, but the service was an absolute disaster. The waitress was extremely rude and treated me like I've never been treated in a restaurant before. After I received the bill, she gave me the card reader to make the payment. I successfully paid with my cell phone using my American Express card. But instead of simply accepting the payment, she suddenly started screaming because she said I had paid with the "wrong" card. She was completely beside herself and accused me of not asking first if I could pay with this card. At no point did she mention that American Express could be a problem. Your behavior was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I felt extremely uncomfortable and was shocked at the way I was treated. Although the food was good, due to the disrespectful and unfriendly treatment by the staff, I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will never come back.

Lots of nice tapas - which are great to share

The food was amazing! I love the "tapas" options so you get to eat a little bit of everything without having to choose. The crunchy tofu and the curry were my favourite. And its all vegan! The only thing that was confusing is that the name of the restaurant has changed. Still highly recommend!!

I always enjoy eating there. The food is always beautifully prepared and tastes fresh and delicious. 🍱 I would be happy if the vegan duck, which tastes incredibly good, was added to the permanent menu. In my opinion, the prices of the drinks are too high, but I just skip them now and just enjoy the food.

Very tasty, everything fresh, super nice service

We had the papaya salad, sushi and the peanut cream shrimp, all of which were very nice. The service was very nice and pointed out straight away that (at least at that point) payment was only possible in cash. The price is a little more expensive than going out for burgers or something, but it's very worth it! Also very tasty drinks✨

Fat, horny, eel tails I want that. What do I want: eel tails. There are white eel tails on the beach. A quite interesting journey through a sweet, savory and slimy landscape. Unfortunately no card payment.

Bodhi - Vegan living is written on the front door. This and "An Vegan House" are the same store. A bit confusing. So if you are looking for this tent, then Bodhi is the place to be!

Asian Vegan nice quality very friendly service

The former An Vegan House now has a different name, but the concept and food remain the same. The service was very nice and attentive, the quality of the food and the price-performance ratio were also very good - be careful, only cash payment is possible. One star deducted because the toilets were extremely dirty, that's not possible in this price range!

A really, really good vegan restaurant, colorful and delicious food, a wide variety of cocktail dishes. The vegetables are fresh, the food is seasoned with good taste. It's fun to sit and eat. The fried food had no feeling and taste of oil, excellently made. The waiter was a bit aggressive (the restaurant was packed) It is recommended to eat there, there is still a taste for more!

Cool and modern restaurant with an Asian tapas concept. Very large and diverse selection of vegan dishes to share, some with vegan substitute products. The service was friendly and cheerful. All in all a highly recommended place. The restaurant is always busy and you should therefore reserve in advance.

Yummy! Unfortunately loud; The acoustics inside are such that the sound builds up. Service mediocre because stressed; But it could also have just been bad luck that one evening. Make a reservation, otherwise you won't get a seat.

I was here for the first time today and was able to enjoy the vegan shrimp, a small tempeh/vegetable bowl and the mango salad. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I also had the “One night in Bali” cocktail. Thank you for the great food and the lovely service. Unfortunately I don't live in HH, otherwise I would definitely come here more often in the future.

Now that it's called Bodhi and we're now in 2024, I unfortunately have to correct the previously rated 5 stars. Today I had tofu skewers that weren't skewers at all. And when it comes to the portion size, I have to say: unfortunately it no longer matches the price. They were two long sticks (similar to fish sticks) about 7cm long, 1cm thick and a bit of semi-mushy salad with peanut sauce. Now €5.90 for that. NO. Previous review - 5 stars: Now the atmosphere is somehow cool and nothing is going on. There used to be at least 3-4 tables occupied in the afternoon. Everything empty today on Monday at 2:30 p.m.

Incredibly delicious and exotic food. It's really worth it, especially because you get food there that you can't get at home. It's all vegan and simply a dream😍 The staff is really nice and we felt very comfortable. The toilet was also very clean. We'll definitely be back😍😍❤️ The only point of criticism: if you sit outside it's right on a busy street...

Scrumptious and delicious food. Quantity is quite plenty. Tofu options are amazing. Drinks are homemade and soothing for a nice summer afternoon.

Super delicious food. We tried three different rolls, our favourite was the crispy one. I ordered the dish with vegan shrimps and peanut butter sauce and it was very good. The service was excellent as well. I can definitely recommend this place and it’s definitely not my last visit ;)

The food is all vegan which is a big plus and the reason i went there. The service is okay. The food was nice but the curry had like 5 small vegetables in it which was a bit dissapointing. I did not feel the need to drink a whole bowl of coconutmilk basically. The soft drink was really nice! When i wanted to pay i could only pay cash cause they didnt have a pin. Which i though was really weird. People dont generally carry that much cash when going out to eat in a group or something.

Purely vegan restaurant. Easily accessible from the main train station. Get a place without a reservation. The food is very tasty but the portion could have been a little larger for the price. Otherwise it is relatively small and therefore produces a noticeable background noise.

Incredibly delicious and original vegan food! We have rarely experienced a store where service is so quick and friendly. The food was with us within 5 minutes and it was so incredibly tasty and freshly prepared! It's not without reason that it's so popular here (make sure to reserve in advance). We had only heard good things about this restaurant and also loved the tapas concept. Unfortunately, after our visit, I can neither understand the good Google reviews here nor satisfy my inner Monk, who was hoping for a great vegan restaurant. Drinks: We had two different sodas. Both had little flavor - kind of like diluting plain juice with too much sparkling water. Little flavor accompanied by strange acidity and no balance of sweetness that I would expect in a lemonade. Food: Where do you start? The presentation in the small bowls is great and looks great. At first glance, the dishes made a fresh and good impression...but not at second glance. Our radish salad, which was actually supposed to be a papaya salad, was anything but fresh and the breaded/fried items had a clearly rancid note of old fry fat. In particular, some of the silken tofu sticks with corn flake breading were not edible. The sauces were good, nothing special, probably not homemade. Unfortunately, the BaoBun didn't appeal to me either. My highlight were the dumplings filled with mushrooms and tofu, but unfortunately here too: frying fat was too old. Service and ambience: very nice hosts, great and clean ambience. I have absolutely no complaints here! Overall, I can't give it more than 3 stars because it wasn't much fun to eat some of the food - on the one hand because of the freshness and on the other hand because of the one-sidedness of the salad, for example. Since we still felt comfortable thanks to the ambience and service, a worse rating would not be justified, even if we probably wouldn't come back.

My visit to this Asian vegan restaurant was simply fantastic. I was really impressed by the variety and creativity of the vegan dishes. Every bite was a taste experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff, although a bit overwhelmed (due to the busyness), were always friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegan cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. An absolute must for all Asian cuisine lovers! 💚

The best vegan restaurant I've been to! Really interesting and unusual dishes that are consistently unique and taste good. A large selection! I love the concept of vegan Vietnamese cuisine and am very excited about the implementation. Truly a unique restaurant that can only be recommended!

There were three of us and we had a selection of different “tapas”. It was really tasty and versatile for the North German palate. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together and the poor soundproofing makes it very loud. You definitely have to reserve a table, unfortunately nothing can happen spontaneously, at least from 5 p.m. on the weekend. But we'd love to come back because of the delicious food!

The food was fantastic, we dined there two times during our stay and the food was fantastic both times, the staff were welcoming and we didn't have to wait long to place our order, to receive the food or to have the bill delivered when we asked for it, which seems to be a problem at every other restaurant in this city. It's a very popular place so book a table in advance if you plan to dine at peak hour. I will definitivt come here again when i visit hamburg next time.

Everything is a bit tight. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared but the taste was a bit lukewarm. Overall it was OK, but I actually expected more.

For the hunger for the Official Part. Ambience great. The Hanoi soup with udon noodles was also delicious. There is only vegetarian food. It's not a shame to eat less meat.

A quick note, the restaurant is called Bodhi not an vegan house. One of the best Asian vegan places I’ve been to. The variety of dishes is insane and feel quite unique. The service is also super fast even if the restaurant is completely filled out. Their dumplings were mind blowing. The fried wantans and the papaya also were delicious. The summer bowl tofu has a very tasty marinate and it all fits well together. The hibiscus iced tea is also very nice. I would recommend to get a lot more dishes to share rather than individual mains here. They only accept cash payments here.

This place was amazing. I went with two kids & my hubby. I endulged & loved every mouth full. I'd recommend booking on weekends. We went on a Sunday evening it was still busy. The tofu sticks with spicy raspberry dip were heaven. I thought the staff were kid, attentive and allowed us to ask for extra straws or spoons for the kids to faff around a bit. I've never tried most of this food before it was delightful, tantalizing, I recommend it highly, also for non-vegans. They have recently renamed to Bodhi Vegan Living and redecorated, new menus but the concept & menu is very similar, it has been upgrades.

Mega leckeres Essen! Nur zu empfehlen. Am besten vorher einen Platz reservieren und darauf achten, dass dieser nicht direkt am Eingang ist, da die Tür doch recht häufig auf und zu geht :)

Wie immer sehr lecker. Zwar nicht billig, aber eben gut. Obwohl der Laden gut gefüllt war und noch einige Kunden Essen abholen, war die Wartezeit im Rahmen.
