Super süßes Lokal mit einem der besten Veganan Essen In ganz Hamburg. Eine absolute Empfehlung, der Preis ist für die frischen und guten Zutaten absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder, auch wenn es leider den mega leckeren Burger nicht mehr gibt ;) das Käsesandwich ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes, pflanzenbasiertes Restaurant, in dem man gut zu Mittag essen kann. Das Eggs Benedict war fantastisch!

Toller Ort. Sehr gut ausgestattet mit glutenfreien Optionen.

Wir hatten das Blumenkohl Benedict Sandwich (absolute Empfehlung!) und das Club-Sandwich, beides glutenfrei. Kaffee gibt es mit Hafer-, Soya- oder Kokos Milch. Sehr nettes Personal :) und ein tolles veganes Restaurant!

Das Essen war hervorragend, wobei es natürlich darauf ankommt, was man bestellt. Unbedingt das „Böuhmenkohl Benedict“ probieren! Ich zitiere jemanden, der es gegessen hat: „Es hat mein Leben ein bisschen verändert.“ Ich kann bestätigen, es war fantastisch! Der Service war etwas langsam, aber im Rahmen.

Ich war letzte Woche mit meiner Frau dort und wir hatten das Vergnügen und Glück der Empfehlung der Inhaberin zu folgen. Das club Sandwich war einfach brutal! Folgt ihrer Empfehlung mit dem dip und ihr seid good to go mit einem gefüllten, aber nicht schweren Magen! Danke!

Wir waren übers Wochenende zum Ironman 2026 in Hamburg und haben an einem sehr vollen Samstag dort gefrühstückt/ zu Mittag gegessen. Das gesamte Ambiente ist stimmig, dass Personal war durchgehend wirklich freundlich und das, obwohl es unfassbar voll war und wir nicht reserviert hatten. Das Essen war lecker und komplett ausreichend. So ausreichend das noch etwas zum Mitnehmen übrig blieb. Wenn wir mal wieder in Hamburg sind, kommen wir sehr gerne.

Das Personal ist freundlich und der Service zuvorkommend. Die Atmosphäre ist trotz der Lage direkt an der Straße angenehm. Das Essen schmeckt köstlich. Auch die Getränke sind gut.

Wir hatten beide ein Sandwich, was super vollgepackt war und total lecker war. Der Service war auch super. Die Kuchenauswahl war sehr groß und sie sahen auch sehr lecker aus!

Gut geeignet für ein schnelles Mittag- oder Frühstück. ☺️ Es gibt eine Auswahl an Sandwiches und warmen Getränken. Etwas teuer – ein Sandwich ohne Beilage kostet 13 Euro.

- das Essen (Harvest Scramble) war insgesamt ungeniesbar. - der Toast war trocken und ungeniesbar - zum Kaffee gab es keine Milch, mußte extra bezahlt werden - der Beilagen Salat war sehr klein für den Preis - man sitzt spartanisch auf einfachsten Holzbänken am Holz Klapptisch - Preise sind total überzogen

Wir waren hier zu viert. Es hat uns allen hervorragend geschmeckt, obwohl nur ich mich vegan ernähre. Die Limonaden waren perfekt, die Sandwichs, die Quiches etc. super. Und der Kuchen ebenfalls klasse. Hinzu kommt, dass das Personal, besonders aber die Inhaberin, so freundlich waren, dass der Besuch ein Vergnügen war. Und dass, obwohl wir mir unseren weißen Hemden auf dem Weg ins Konzert absolut nicht ins Setting passten. Schade, dass wir so weit weg wohnen: hier würde ich gerne Stammgast. Leider habe ich keine Fotos gemacht.

Also, ich war sowas von begeistert von eurem Essen. Habe noch nie so tolle vegane Ideen erlebt wie bei euch. In Flensburg gibt es sowas wie euch leider nicht, deshalb werde ich nur für einen Besuch bei euch öfter nach Hamburg fahren. Macht weiter so. Ich werde euch gerne weiter empfehlen 😋😋😋😋

Einfach nur wundervoll. Umsichtige Gäste, friedliches miteinander, unendlich leckeres Essen und ganz wichtig, der Geldfluss geht mehr ins Gute als in anderer Gastronomie ✌🏼

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da und hatten die Quiche und das Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Beides natürlich vegan 🌱! War sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre war auch angenehm, genauso wie die Menschen! Also absolute Empfehlung zum Brunch oder Mittagessen. Die Kuchen sahen aber auch sehr gut aus!

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service ausgezeichnet und die Speisekarte war auf Englisch.

Die Sandwiches sind sehr gut belegt und lecker. Das Red Spice Sandwich ist außerordentlich spicy. Bis auf den Namen gibt es da leider keinen Hinweis drauf. Ich konnte es daher leider nicht ganz essen.

Also es war ok. Wenn man reinkommt ist es sehr stickig, alle Fenster sind vom Atem der Gäste beschlagen und die Luft dort ist sehr schlecht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Auf das Essen musste man sehr lange warten. Gäste die mit uns gekommen waren, waren mit ihrem Essen schon fertig und wieder gegangen als wir unser Essen bekamen. Das Essen selber war ok aber alles in Kombi, also Essen und Ambiente sind kein Grund für einen erneuten Besuch. Es war ok.

Für Kaffee und Kuchen ganz sweet, das mit den warmen Speisen sollten sie vielleicht lieber ganz lassen. Alles war sehr chaotisch und unorgansiert. Zunächst mussten wir feststellen das es von 16-17:30 uhr gar kein warmes Essen gibt, das war weder online ersichtlich, noch wurden wir vor Ort darauf hingewiesen. Nachdem wir also diese Zeit überbrückt hatten, konnten wir um 17:30 uhr immer noch nichts bestellen da über eine halbe Stunde keine Bedienung zu uns kam, bis wir sie darauf hinwiesen und das obwohl zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht mal viel los war. Generell wirkte das Personal sehr überfordert und unorgansiert, vor allem als es dann ab 18 sehr voll wurde. Das Essen war außerdem vor allem dafür das es relativ teuer war echt eher mid, nicht wirklich schlecht aber halt auch einfach nicht geil. Nachdem dem Essen kam wurden wir dann wieder nicht bedient. Insgesamt also leider eine Enttäuschung, schade :(

Ich war vergangenes Wochenende zum zweiten Mal bei Happenpappen. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Ich kenne kein anderes Lokal, das solche guten veganen Gerichte anbietet. Daher ist das Essen eine klare Empfehlung. Man sollte jedoch etwas Zeit mitbringen. Bei beiden Besuchen hat es ca. 15 Minuten gedauert, bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Das Servicepersonal wirkte gestresst und überfordert. Leider fehlte ein Getränk und wir haben ein Essen bekommen, das wir gar nicht bestellt haben. Das Personal hat super reagiert, jedoch hat das alles den Besuch sehr in die Länge gezogen.

Richtig leckeres und ausgefallenes veganes Essen. Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass viele Gerichte glutenfrei waren oder als glutenfreie Variante bestellt werden konnten. Trotz das der Laden sehr voll war. Wurde mir mein Essen und mein Getränk innerhalb von 7 Minuten gebracht und die Kellnerin war durchgehend sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt.

Super lecker und das Personal war jedes Mal gut gelaunt und freundlich! Abwechslungsreiche und gesunde (schmeckt aber nicht ZU gesund) Karte mit wechselndem Mittagstisch 🍛 Beim nächsten Mal muss ich unbedingt den Kuchen probieren, der einen aus der Auslage immer anlacht. Wenn man ganz sicher einen Tisch bekommen möchte, sollte man reservieren, denn es gibt nicht so viele Plätze.

Das Essen war super lecker & der Service toll! Allerdings würde ich Leuten mit Zöliakie eher abraten, hier zu essen. Mir ging es nach meinem „glutenfreien Essen“ leider sehr schlecht. Ich weiß, dass man in einer gemischten Küche nie die Garantie hat und wurde auch ganz aufmerksam darauf hingewiesen - ich bin das Risiko also bewusst eingegangen. Ich möchte nur andere Zöllis darauf hinweisen, dass es für mich leider nicht funktioniert hat. Meine veganen Freunde kommen aber definitiv wieder! :)

Von allen veganen Frühstücks-/Brunch-Locations, die ich in Hamburg kenne, aus meiner Sicht die beste! Die Speisen sind außergewöhnlich - Gerichte, die man nicht auch einfach zuhause isst - und geschmacklich eine 10/10. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

We spontaneously decided to go to this place and I'm so glad we did. The people there were incredibly friendly, readily accommodated our requests, and knew which allergens were in the dishes. The food was absolutely delicious!! Serving burgers as bowls is such a cool idea. The burgers were huge and topped with amazing ingredients!

I discovered this my first day in the neighborhood, and it has become my breakfast/brunch place for this holiday it seems. Great taste, friendly people.

Whatever happened to our favorite place for delicious poke bowls? The colorful autumn bowl consisted of cucumber and green salad, rice, and pumpkin. A bit of bland sauce on top? That was much, much better! What a shame...

Loved everything about this place, especially the food! Sooooo delicious. I’m not vegan, but I am vegetarian and this was so good. I got one of the bowls and it was light and fresh and healthy. I loved the lentil patty in it. The whole rest of the time we were in Hamburg I wanted to go back and have another meal here because it was just so tasty. This was probably my favorite restaurant of all places we tried while in Hamburg, including much more pricier places.

We ordered a Massaman curry today and got a cereal bowl full of potato soup for 14 euros! Barely seasoned, no vegetables other than potatoes, thin as water, and far from a curry. A real shame. The waiter I confronted with my criticism was very friendly but had the attitude: "You ordered this stuff, so you pay for it." Oh yeah, a little dressing on the salad would have been nice, too.

During our trip to Hamburg, we were quickly looking for a place where we could eat vegan and gluten-free. "HAPPENPAPPEN" was quickly recommended to us, and we were thrilled. From the very beginning, the service was always friendly and attentive. Bringing our dog along was no problem, and they even brought a water bowl. The food was amazing. Very tasty and incredibly filling. The value for money is definitely good! There are also recipes suitable for celiac patients, and they even offer gluten-free pasta, among other things. The restrooms are very clean and have a cool design. Ultimately, we were pleasantly surprised and absolutely thrilled. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

Super delicious food and very nice service! Happenpappen knows how to make vegan food alright! The food took awhile to arrive, though, so don't go here if you're pressed for time. I'd also recommend to make a reservation, as the place is quite popular, it seems (I understand why, though!)

The quiche was very good, the side salad barely had any dressing on it. Lunch price: €13.90, which is something you have to be willing to pay. I was also not informed about a €1.90 surcharge for a small tzatziki dip, which is unacceptable.

I discovered Happenpappen spontaneously while passing by because I had an appointment nearby. I ordered a small curry bowl and an iced matcha latte, and both were delicious! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I'll be back :)

Vi besøgte Happenpappen i St. Pauli – en lille, autentisk vegetarrestaurant med mulighed for at sidde både inde og ude. Stedet har en afslappet atmosfære, og betjeningen var venlig og effektiv. Vi fik en vegetarburger, som var veltillavet og serveret uden lang ventetid. Maden var enkel og velsmagende – et rigtig fint sted at nyde et grønt og afslappet måltid i hyggelige omgivelser.

It was a bit more expensive, but I've rarely eaten so well. All the ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented. The location was great, and the service was excellent.

The place is small and cute. I arrived at 12:15 PM on Thursday, and within an hour, the tiny space was so crowded that while the food was absolutely delicious, the experience wasn't pleasant. Regardless, the lunch bowl and vegan cheese are amazing!

We went there for the first time, and it was perfectly fine, but nothing more than that. The staff were super friendly and kept a good eye on everything, but the tables could have been cleaned better—they were very sticky, which was really unpleasant. The two burgers (one classic and one bowl) were quite tasty, but the seitan patty was quite dry, and the burger came without any side dish, so the portion was quite small. We ordered potatoes as a precaution. The whole-wheat bun wasn't really our thing. It wasn't exactly cheap, but that's Hamburg, after all. The bottom line: You can go there without hesitation, but we probably won't eat there again; there's too much vegan competition these days.

The food was quite good, but the portions were abysmally small. I find €15 for a portion of pasta that fits in my hand a bit cheeky. Perhaps they could offer different sizes here… €20 for a proper portion (twice the size) would be more appropriate. Unfortunately, there was no response to our feedback on site.
