Repeatedly overwhelmed with deliveries. Ordered food, delivery time stated as 15-40 minutes. No contact, nothing. Canceled after an hour without comment. Best to ignore.
Terrible!
Were in Gelsenkirchen yesterday and got hungry. We wanted to take advantage of the evening buffet offered there for 4 people, but heard that it was no longer offered. (But it is still advertised throughout the building!) On the flimsy menu, many dishes were crossed out with Edding (steak menu, kebab dishes). We men first ordered a tea (according to the menu 1€!) while the ladies went shopping. After they returned, we decided to eat somewhere else thanks to the lack of a buffet and then had to hear that we had to pay 6€ for 2 glasses of tea, even though they are 1€ on the menu! So customer advertising works differently!
Here for the first time and simply WoW! Super nice service, 15 people ordered all grill plates and everything was done right! Without confusion. Not a long wait, not overpriced, very tasty. We'll be back! Thank you
Flatbread crispy, vegetables crunchy & fresh. Meat delicious. Overall, a good and tasty kebab. 🥙 A little new coat of paint inside could certainly bring out a little more.
Disgraceful store - customer service underground!
I ordered from Zara Grill Herford (part of Azra Grill Herford) and specifically requested my calzone without peppers, without onions and with little meat. The employee on the phone even confirmed this again. I also ordered a portion of fries.
When my food arrived, I discovered that, despite clear agreement, there were peppers and onions in the calzone. So I called immediately and politely explained the problem. I just wanted a new calzone like the one I ordered. I also mentioned that my fries had gotten cold by now because I wanted to eat them both together.
Instead of a solution, there was a disrespectful announcement!
The employee got extremely upset on the phone as if it was my fault that they got the order wrong. Then came the accusation as to why I was reporting “so late” – as if I had no other obligations! I calmly explained to him that I had to finish my work before I could eat. After much back and forth, he finally agreed to send a new calzone - supposedly even with a fresh portion of fries.
But when the replacement arrived, things became even more absurd:
• The promised new fries weren't there, even though he promised me they would be.
• I even tipped 3 euros because I thought it was a given that a restaurant would own up to its mistakes.
And as if that wasn't bad enough: the guy just called me again and seemed stupid again! He seriously asked me why I started eating the incorrectly delivered calzone. Do I now have to justify the fact that I was hungry? After all, it was her fault, not mine! And then the absolute kicker: He actually said that he would “shove the food in my face” because I touched it. Absolutely disrespectful and completely unacceptable!
The saddest part of the whole thing? I ordered here every other day and was a loyal customer. And yet I'm treated like I'm the problem. Never again! Anyone who values customer friendliness should definitely not order here!
I spontaneously decided to take something with me when I walked past it today. Can't say anything bad. Had a lahmacun without chicken to take away. The display was attractive and clean, it was prepared quickly, the toppings were not stingy, the taste was good. Price was okay too.
