Unfortunately I can't say anything positive other than the quick delivery.
I was a customer of the Alima Grill for a very long time, but I have to say that the quality has declined significantly.
At first the meat was really bad, then I was told they had a different skewer. And today we had french fries / kebabs where even my 7-5 year old children said there was nothing on them. I brought the kebab back... I was told if I wanted a full kebab I should pay more.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I won't be ordering there again.
I have mixed opinions about the building:
On the one hand, I think it's very good and interesting that the high-rise bunker has been integrated and that it can be repurposed in a future-oriented manner. The high-rise is also architecturally very appealing and I caught myself looking at the building from a distance several times while I was out and about in the district.
BUT:
On the other hand, it is a real shame that some of the building is not open to the public, especially the viewing platform. It would also be ideal for commercial use of one floor (such as a restaurant or bar). Unfortunately it is currently not possible to enter the building. That's why it seems very isolated to me in the district.
My second point is that I find the parking lot in front of the building terrible.
I understand that parking spaces are necessary, but at this point it would have been much more appropriate to establish some kind of park/square of attractive quality in order to give a building that creates an identity a quality of stay.
The building is very well connected in terms of infrastructure. A busy federal highway runs to the south and there are entrances and exits to the subway station on both sides of the intersection to the north. There is also a bus stop there. You can also reach the city center in just a few minutes' walk.
However, the intersection in question offers very poor quality of life and is generally very car-centric. That could have changed this building.
Conclusion:
In my opinion, a lot of potential. Step in the right direction.
I've eaten at ANKA with my parents many times now.
We also celebrated my father's birthday there.
The food is always fresh, very tasty and the price/performance ratio is very good.
The owner/cook/waiter is super friendly and very accommodating.
We always enjoy coming back for dinner.
The lentil soup was excellent and tasted great. The consistency was perfect and the spices were harmoniously balanced. The bread, especially the pide, was freshly baked and very tasty. It had a pleasant crust and a soft crumb. The combination of soup and bread was ideal. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. I can highly recommend this dish. An all-round successful enjoyment.
The best Kebab and grilled meats I've ever eaten. I have 200 km to this restaurant and it's really worth visiting this place. I've been there 4 times and it's always the same high level. The taste of the dish is from the meat and not the sauces. Phenomenal food.
Whether it's an Adana plate, lamb fillet, or a mixed plate.
The portion, the side dish, the processed meat, and the absolutely top-notch taste and quality of the preparation are all just right.
When it comes to meat, you've come to the right place.
Always happy to come back, and as often as possible.
I particularly love the lamb fillet with roasted potatoes and a small farmer's salad. I enjoy it every time.
I also found out who supplies the meat by chance. It's absolutely reliable and well-known to me.
That's why I like going to Bardak (glass in Turkish).
In the evening, the focus is on raki (Turkish ouzo). By the way, Greek ouzo simply means drinking, but only with yamas!
Parking is a bit more difficult here, too.
Until 6:00 p.m., there are no bottlenecks in the restaurant or in terms of parking.
However, it gets really crowded after 7:00 p.m.
Most of the time, all the tables are occupied and there's no parking space within 50-100 meters. Then you just have to search. Search for parking for a good meal.
It's definitely worth it!
Take the time for an experience on Schützenstraße; I definitely do.
I haven't regretted it to this day.
