I called to pre-order something for later pickup. Instead of listening to me, the employee kept talking to other people during the call. My questions were barely addressed—it was as if I hadn't even called. When he told me to repeat myself a second time, I asked why he wasn't listening properly instead of talking to others. He then simply hung up on me mid-sentence. I have rarely experienced such disrespectful behavior. Never go there, folks. Absolutely unprofessional and incredibly customer-unfriendly!

If you want to eat authentic Adana kebab, you have to come here. There's no better place in Dortmund or the surrounding area! The food is incredibly delicious, fresh, and authentic, the staff is friendly and attentive, and everything is clean and cozy. I come regularly. Highly recommended!

We were seated in the conservatory. It had a dingy ambiance, and it was also for smokers. We said we wanted a non-smoking spot. Apparently, that wasn't possible due to reservations. Two very young ladies were serving, who were shy and not attentive. The lentil soup was okay, the meat was rather bland. Far too expensive, the quality was substandard, and the focus was more on wonders. I have no idea who would eat there repeatedly, given the many good restaurants in the area.

The food was delicious, but I didn't like the tea. It's that large-leafed bitter tea. Okay on its own.

We were at Bardak Restaurant with a large group in the afternoon and had made a reservation in advance. Everything went smoothly. Despite the size of our group, we received our food very quickly, which was a real pleasant surprise. The food was delicious – fresh, varied, and prepared with love. Everyone was delighted! The service was very friendly, attentive, and well-organized. We felt truly welcome and well-looked after. The atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and inviting – even in the afternoon. An all-round successful visit! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Bardak.👍😊

We were there with a group of 11 people and had already received several calls beforehand asking if we were actually coming. When we got there, the place was empty, and we were asked again if everyone would actually show up – which came across as a bit unfriendly. When we finally ordered, the waiter was anything but friendly. We ordered mostly grilled meats, but also two chicken durums – from that moment on, the waiter's smile stopped. Apparently, in his eyes, durums are too few (too cheap). The grilled meats came with salad and cutlery, but the durum orderers left empty-handed. When we asked for cutlery so we could at least try the salad, we were told we could order our own salad. That was rude and inflexible. It seemed as if the waiter was seriously counting the number of forks he was handing out. When paying, the waiter insisted that all outstanding items had to be paid immediately before anyone could leave. There were six other people at the table who were still paying anyway. When we finally got around to paying, the waiter even waited to see if he'd get a tip – but there wasn't, because the service was simply awful. The meal itself was okay, but the service ruined the entire experience. For me: once and never again. That's not how you treat your guests! The restaurant urgently needs to work on its hospitality.

Hygiene in the sanitary facilities leaves much to be desired.

Great team. The restaurant offers excellent grilled food. Oriental quality. It's really very good! The service is also perfect! They apologize if it takes too long. From the waitress to the payment, the service was top-notch. I'm a huge lamb fan and allowed myself a sneak peek into the kitchen. The preparation and taste of my mixed grill was the best I've ever had in Dortmund. The side dishes and the starter tasted very authentically Turkish. It was truly, by far, the best Turkish food I've had in a long time! If I ever get hungry for Turkish food again, this is the only place I'll come!

I would like to comment on my visit to your restaurant on April 21, 2025, as I was unfortunately very disappointed and would like you to take my feedback seriously. I had reserved a table in advance. When I arrived I told the waitress that I had a reservation. Unfortunately, she only spoke to me in Turkish, even though I politely informed her that I didn't understand the language. Nevertheless, she continued speaking in Turkish. I find it disrespectful when you try to communicate in a friendly manner but are ignored - especially when you explicitly say you don't understand something. As usual, I ordered the bardak plate and politely asked if I could have more salad instead of the potatoes. The waiter replied in the affirmative. Unfortunately, there was no noticeable difference between my salad and my daughter's, even though her dish regularly contains a salad. That was disappointing - I had skipped the potatoes in the expectation that I would get more salad. However, the disappointment with the main course was even more serious: The bardak plate consisted of four types of meat, but the ribs in particular had hardly any meat and consisted almost entirely of bones. Unfortunately, not only did it seem unloving, but it also didn't correspond to the price. Since I was there with my children, I didn't want to cause a scene. Nevertheless, I would like to express my incomprehension about the fact that as a guest who does not speak Turkish, you are repeatedly ignored. External characteristics such as dark hair do not automatically mean that you speak Turkish - that is also part of respect in service. It is a shame that I will probably not visit your restaurant again after this experience.

Whether Adana plate, lamb fillet or mixed plate. Here the portion, the side dish, the processed meat and the absolutely high taste as well as the quality of the preparation are right. When it comes to meat, you've come to the right place. Always happy and happy to do so as often as possible. I particularly love the lamb fillet with fried potatoes and a small farmer's salad. I enjoy it every time. I also found out about the supplier of the meat by chance. Absolutely reliable and well known to me. That's why I like being in Bardak (glass in Turkish). In the evening, the focus is on raki (Turkish ouzo). By the way, the Greek ouzo simply means drinking, but only with yamas! Here too, it's just a little more difficult with the parking spaces. No shortages in the restaurant or parking space until 6 p.m. However, things get really crowded after 7 p.m. Most of the time the tables are all occupied and there is no parking space within 50-100 meters. Then you just have to search. Finding parking for a good meal. It's definitely worth it! Take the time to experience Schützenstrasse, I definitely do. I haven't regretted it to this day.

We reserved a table on the phone and the table we wanted was not reserved for us but another table that was very close to each other with other customers. You could sit directly on top of other people because the tables were so close. The food was very greasy. Service was simply NO GO. You pay way too much for a salad and unfortunately there isn't meze that's available apart from the food. You have to dig deep into your pockets for that!!! Sometimes it's so crowded when you walk in from outside the restaurant smells like sweat and it's just disgusting to eat there!! I WOULD NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!

That can't be true, despite reservations we waited over 1 ½ hours for our food. If I make a reservation here for lunch and don't get my food until dinner, that can't be surpassed in terms of audacity. There were no sauces with the meal and the chicken was bone dry. The potatoes from the side dish were not seasoned and were probably made in the air fryer within 5 minutes. Demanding 20€ for this is also unrivaled in terms of audacity. The last person in my group didn't even get his food because the kitchen forgot about him. It took another 15-30 minutes for his dish to arrive. If the store makes you wait almost 2 hours for your food and the food tastes so bad, you shouldn't be surprised if no more customers come. And if the store is so bold, then I would like to reciprocate this boldness at this point. I recommend going to Bethlehem Star instead. The food is half the price and tastes much better, it is close by and offers similar food. Sauces etc are included with every meal and you wait between 15-20 minutes for your food. Still a long wait but compared to the almost 120 minutes it sounds like a dream. he food tastes better

Food was quite good so far. Unfortunately, even though it wasn't that full, we waited about 45 minutes for the food. With two hungry children it was correspondingly difficult.

Bad meat that was way too heavily seasoned to produce at least any flavor. Oil was dripping from the soggy potatoes. There was no meze with it (I could understand that if it was a small thing, but I ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, which is intended for a single person). Only the salad was delicious. Even if this were the only restaurant for miles around, I wouldn't eat here again.

An ideal place if you want to go to a real Turkish "meyhane". Nevertheless, it is well suited for families. I can especially recommend the “Mezeler”.

A reason we won't go again. We were kept waiting at the entrance of the restaurant and we went to a table in the family lounge. Then a gentleman came and told us that the table was reserved and wanted to remove us from the table, but there was no reservation sign on the table. I told the gentleman that there was no reservation card on the table, I wished you had left a reservation card, and I wished you had asked and sat down, I got the answer and I asked that gentleman, were you interested in me so that I could come to you and ask a question? When we said we wanted a table for 2 people at the entrance of the restaurant, you turned around and not one of you came to take care of me. Receiving such a reaction really showed us that the service sector is not a job that everyone can do.

I wish I could give 10 stars 🙏 although the restaurant may give a different impression, the food here is a 10 out of 10. Quality, enjoyment, taste, size of the portions are simply perfect. The area for families and couples is particularly well thought out. To top it off, the service is also a 10. We always like to come back🙏

We come from London,, where we have super Turkish food options galore in Green Lanes, Haringey, and I have to say Bardak Grill Restaurant compares favourably with the best there. We’ll be back for sure!

Everything tastes simply excellent, especially the grill plate and the homemade fries. The music also seems to be chosen very carefully and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

We took something to eat. My son ate Adana kebab and I ate veal in Dürum. My son was happy, the meat alone without salad in the dough was too dry for me, I won't order that again. Prices have also risen so significantly compared to two years ago that we no longer have a good relationship with performance.

You can eat delicious Turkish food, there is also something for vegetarians - I recommend a plate of vegetables - on the menu it is called shakshuka. The portions are very large, the food is fresh and super seasoned.

A nice selection of starters, soups and main courses. Of course, delicious, freshly prepared desserts. By far the tastiest shop in all of Dortmund. Nobody comes close to Bardark. The quality is worth five stars! I've tried almost the entire menu and am always amazed at how incredibly juicy and delicious the food is. You really can't complain about the price either. The sea bream and the chicken skewer were tasty and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the potato chips were too salty in some places. I can't recommend Adana Kebap as it was way too over-seasoned and too salty. The male waitress was very professional and friendly.

If you know Bardak, you definitely have to try Dorade Royal/sea bass!!! The potato slices with the fish from Bardak are to die for. Bardak is well located. It's usually not easy to find a parking space, but the food is tasty. Price-performance ratio is also good. Unfortunately the service staff is not that friendly. For example, you have to ask several times because part of the order is already there and the other part is forgotten. Due to a subsequent appointment, I even couldn't finish my meal once and wanted to have it packed. The waitress said: why do you want so little to be packed? Such comments are simply rude and are an absolute no-go. But it doesn't matter because the boss is super understanding and the food simply tastes good.

Surprisingly there is a beautiful restaurant garden. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. I had a liver skewer and one with minced meat.

We have been there more than 10 times in the last 6 months, it is a very nice Turkish restaurant, I really recommend it, both its appetizers and kebabs, they are all delicious, but I especially recommend you to eat the ribs, enjoy your meal.

Hello. They recommended Bardak Teller. We ordered with our friends. On my friend's plate came a long strand of hair from Adana Kebab meat. When we talked to the waiter, his answer was very funny to us. He told us that Adana kebabs come ready from outside🤣🤣🫢😡, so he said it is normal.

So the food was great BUT we waited 1:30 hours for our food and no understanding was shown. Yes it can be full but if I had known that I would never have eaten there and then it was 130€ for 4 people and nothing was done because of the delay. People came in after us and left before us

I called today at around 8:10 p.m. and asked if there was still room available for two people. On the phone, the gentleman (Süleyman (bald)) said to me that 5-6 tables had eaten and would be getting up soon. In short, we were approx .25 minutes there, suddenly it was said it was full and the next one was reserved (supposedly) first come first served said Mr. Süleyman. I find it really outrageous how you can talk like that as a restaurateur, really abnormal. NEVER even if it tasted good. Sorry

We were ready within half an hour and were able to get to the event on time. Craziness. Thanks to everyone involved.

Wohlverdiente 5 Sterne! Ein Restaurant in der Nähe des Dortmunder HBF‘s, welches ich schon seit 2011 besuche. Für den kleinen Hunger empfehle ich den Adana Dürüm. Ansonsten ist der gemischte Grillteller mein Favorit. Die gebratenen Kartoffeln dazu als Beilage sind köstlich. Neben viele Fleischgerichten gibt es noch Fischgerichte. Die Liebe zum Detail ist in diesem Restaurant Gesetz.

Yemekler gerçekten çok lezzetliydi personeller cana yakındı. Fakat biraz daha hızlı olabilirse çok memnun kalırız fiyat 1 tık ortalamanın üstündeydi.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Restaurant Bardak ist zweifellos eines der besten Restaurants in Dortmund. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist außergewöhnlich, und obwohl die Preise in den letzten Jahren im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen gestiegen sind, spiegelt sich dies in der unvergleichlichen kulinarischen Erfahrung wider. Die Auswahl an Fisch- und Fleischgerichten ist beeindruckend, und die Salate und Beilagen sind einfach fantastisch. Die Hingabe zur Perfektion ist in jedem Bissen spürbar. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Parkplatzsituation in der Umgebung kann etwas schwierig sein. Trotzdem ist jedes Essen hier ein Genuss und die Atmosphäre sowie der Service runden das Gesamterlebnis perfekt ab. Ich freue mich darauf, auch in Zukunft Gast bei Restaurant Bardak zu sein!

Haben hier vor einigen Tagen auf Empfehlung gegessen (Geheimtipp). Das Essen war, ob Fleisch oder Fisch, sehr gut. Die Portionen waren wirklich reichlich. Hier bleibt keiner hungrig. Und preislich auch absolut in Ordnung. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wer auf gutes und leckeres Essen wert legt und Ambiente nicht so wichtig ist, ist hier definitiv richtig. Vor allem ist der Adana Teller zu empfehlen. Wir kommen seit Jahren nur wegen dem Adana Teller hier her. An keinem Ort der Welt habe ich besseren Adana Kebab gegessen. Absolutes Highlight dieses Restaurants. Dazu werden selbstgemachte, knusprige Kartoffelscheiben serviert, die ebenfalls richtig gut sind. Ich persönlich empfehle zusätzlich dazu yufka Brot statt Pide. Meine Frau bestellt immer die Hähnchenspieße oder aktuell verfügbaren, frischen Fisch und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Preise sind normal. Wartezeit ist gut. Überdachte Außenterrasse im Innenbereich vorhanden. Keine Kundenparkplätze, daher könnte die Suche etwas schwierig werden.

Bisher waren wir von Dortmund ja nicht so überzeugt, der Besuch bei Barduk Speisen jedoch hat uns unseren Aufenthalt versüßt. Der sympathische Service wurde lediglich von den leckeren Speisen getoppt. Die Neonbox sagt DANKE
