Bardak in Dortmund

Whether it's an Adana plate, lamb fillet, or a mixed plate. The portion, the side dish, the processed meat, and the absolutely top-notch taste and quality of the preparation are all just right. When it comes to meat, you've come to the right place. Always happy to come back, and as often as possible. I particularly love the lamb fillet with roasted potatoes and a small farmer's salad. I enjoy it every time. I also found out who supplies the meat by chance. It's absolutely reliable and well-known to me. That's why I like going to Bardak (glass in Turkish). In the evening, the focus is on raki (Turkish ouzo). By the way, Greek ouzo simply means drinking, but only with yamas! Parking is a bit more difficult here, too. Until 6:00 p.m., there are no bottlenecks in the restaurant or in terms of parking. However, it gets really crowded after 7:00 p.m. Most of the time, all the tables are occupied and there's no parking space within 50-100 meters. Then you just have to search. Search for parking for a good meal. It's definitely worth it! Take the time for an experience on Schützenstraße; I definitely do. I haven't regretted it to this day.

We reserved a table over the phone and when we got there they didn't reserve the table we wanted but a different table which was very close together with other customers. You could have sat right on top of other people because the tables were so close together. The food was very greasy and the service was simply a NO GO. You pay far too much for a salad and unfortunately there is no meze that comes as an extra, apart from the food you have to dig deep into your pockets for that!!! Sometimes it's so full that when you go in from outside the restaurant stinks of sweat and it's just disgusting to eat there!! I WOULD NEVER GO TO EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!

That can't be true, despite reservations we waited over 1 ½ hours for our food. If I make a reservation here for lunch and don't get my food until dinner, that can't be surpassed in terms of audacity. There were no sauces with the meal and the chicken was bone dry. The potatoes from the side dish were not seasoned and were probably made in the air fryer within 5 minutes. Demanding 20€ for this is also unrivaled in terms of audacity. The last person in my group didn't even get his food because the kitchen forgot about him. It took another 15-30 minutes for his dish to arrive. If the store makes you wait almost 2 hours for your food and the food tastes so bad, you shouldn't be surprised if no more customers come. And if the store is so bold, then I would like to reciprocate this boldness at this point. I recommend going to Bethlehem Star instead. The food is half the price and tastes much better, it is close by and offers similar food. Sauces etc are included with every meal and you wait between 15-20 minutes for your food. Still a long wait but compared to the almost 120 minutes it sounds like a dream. he food tastes better

Food was quite good so far. Unfortunately, even though it wasn't that full, we waited about 45 minutes for the food. With two hungry children it was correspondingly difficult.

The taste is excellent, the environment is not very luxurious or modern, but it is clean and authentic. We were very pleased with the ice. We saved it as a screen to visit again.

What's the point, spoon salad? :) When I asked if we could change seats by the door, the waitress said I should get permission for the empty table :) Anyway, that didn't happen either. I give 2 points for the food, I don't think we will go again...

Bad meat that was way too heavily seasoned to produce at least any flavor. Oil was dripping from the soggy potatoes. There was no meze with it (I could understand that if it was a small thing, but I ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, which is intended for a single person). Only the salad was delicious. Even if this were the only restaurant for miles around, I wouldn't eat here again.

An ideal place if you want to go to a real Turkish "meyhane". Nevertheless, it is well suited for families. I can especially recommend the “Mezeler”.

A reason we won't go again. We were kept waiting at the entrance of the restaurant and we went to a table in the family lounge. Then a gentleman came and told us that the table was reserved and wanted to remove us from the table, but there was no reservation sign on the table. I told the gentleman that there was no reservation card on the table, I wished you had left a reservation card, and I wished you had asked and sat down, I got the answer and I asked that gentleman, were you interested in me so that I could come to you and ask a question? When we said we wanted a table for 2 people at the entrance of the restaurant, you turned around and not one of you came to take care of me. Receiving such a reaction really showed us that the service sector is not a job that everyone can do.

Not for the family, more like a restaurant where you can go out for a drink and eat at the same time.

Fresh salads and fresh meat, including the chicken breasts, are very well formed and grilled to perfection. But... the fat waiter might think something wonderful and special, he simply sneaks through the tables and gives the customers the feeling that they are no longer in the mood. The bread basket lay on the table for at least 10 minutes until another waiter did it. So don't just throw the plates on the tables, put them away! As already mentioned, this is a total NO GO!! Unfortunately we had hair in our food, for which we waited 1.5 hours. Things are explained differently on the phone than in the store. I called and asked if you could make a reservation and was told no, but when you went there they said you should make a reservation. I think it's a real shame!

I wish I could give 10 stars 🙏 although the restaurant may give a different impression, the food here is a 10 out of 10. Quality, enjoyment, taste, size of the portions are simply perfect. The area for families and couples is particularly well thought out. To top it off, the service is also a 10. We always like to come back🙏

Always super tasty... A good selection of dishes. For appetites large and small. A covered outdoor area for smokers. There is also shisha there... I don't feel bothered by it. We ate excellent lamb ribs and lamb wrap. Good service, friendly staff. Pleasant ambience inside and large covered outside garden if you like to eat al fresco. We come from London,, where we have super Turkish food options galore in Green Lanes, Haringey, and I have to say Bardak Grill Restaurant compares favourably with the best there. We’ll be back for sure!

I don't even know where to start. It's simply wonderful here. It is usually very full, so you should reserve a table in advance. There is also an area for families or couples etc., which I really appreciate. The owner and staff are very polite and nice. You will receive a very warm welcome. Alright, now to the food. Everything tastes simply excellent, especially the grill plate and the homemade fries. The music also seems to be chosen very carefully and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

We took something to eat. My son ate Adana kebab and I ate veal in Dürum. My son was happy, the meat alone without salad in the dough was too dry for me, I won't order that again. Prices have also risen so significantly compared to two years ago that we no longer have a good relationship with performance.

You can eat delicious Turkish food, there is also something for vegetarians - I recommend a plate of vegetables - on the menu it is called shakshuka. The portions are very large, the food is fresh and super seasoned.

Great restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. With a covered, shady terrace. Authentic, excellent cuisine, fresh ingredients and prepared with skill. A nice selection of starters, soups and main courses. Of course, delicious, freshly prepared desserts. The sea bream and the chicken skewer were tasty and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the potato chips were too salty in some places. I can't recommend Adana Kebap as it was way too over-seasoned and too salty. The male waitress was very professional and friendly.

By far the tastiest shop in all of Dortmund. Nobody comes close to Bardark. The quality is worth five stars! I've tried almost the entire menu and am always amazed at how incredibly juicy and delicious the food is. You really can't complain about the price either. Rarely have I met and seen such super friendly staff. Thank you again for everything! The shop is so delicious, I would be willing to pay the rent every month ;)

If you know Bardak, you definitely have to try Dorade Royal/sea bass!!! The potato slices with the fish from Bardak are to die for. Bardak is well located. It's usually not easy to find a parking space, but the food is tasty. Price-performance ratio is also good. Unfortunately the service staff is not that friendly. For example, you have to ask several times because part of the order is already there and the other part is forgotten. Due to a subsequent appointment, I even couldn't finish my meal once and wanted to have it packed. The waitress said: why do you want so little to be packed? Such comments are simply rude and are an absolute no-go. But it doesn't matter because the boss is super understanding and the food simply tastes good.

Surprisingly there is a beautiful restaurant garden. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. I had a liver skewer and one with minced meat.

We have been there more than 10 times in the last 6 months, it is a very nice Turkish restaurant, I really recommend it, both its appetizers and kebabs, they are all delicious, but I especially recommend you to eat the ribs, enjoy your meal.

Hello. They recommended Bardak Teller. We ordered with our friends. On my friend's plate came a long strand of hair from Adana Kebab meat. When we talked to the waiter, his answer was very funny to us. He told us that Adana kebabs come ready from outside🤣🤣🫢😡, so he said it is normal.

So the food was great BUT we waited 1:30 hours for our food and no understanding was shown. Yes it can be full but if I had known that I would never have eaten there and then it was 130€ for 4 people and nothing was done because of the delay. People came in after us and left before us

I called today at around 8:10 p.m. and asked if there was still room available for two people. On the phone, the gentleman (Süleyman (bald)) said to me that 5-6 tables had eaten and would be getting up soon. In short, we were approx .25 minutes there, suddenly it was said it was full and the next one was reserved (supposedly) first come first served said Mr. Süleyman. I find it really outrageous how you can talk like that as a restaurateur, really abnormal. NEVER even if it tasted good. Sorry

It's a shame I can't give it more than 5 stars. Incredibly friendly staff, really good food at ridiculously low prices. We wanted to grab something to eat shortly before an event and chose the shop. We were ready within half an hour and were able to get to the event on time. Craziness. Thanks to everyone involved.

By far the best meat you can find in Dortmund and the surrounding area. Top service. The Bardak plate is a treat in itself. 100% recommended and always a pleasure to eat here. Every friend I've invited there so far has absolutely loved it.

Die Speisen alle köstlich. Von Vorspeise bis Nachtisch. Waren gleich 2 Tage hintereinander dort essen, weil es für uns keine bessere Alternative gab. Beim nächsten Dortmundbesuch sind wir auf alle Fälle wieder dort.

Noch nie in Deutschland so leckere Grill Gerichte gegessen vorallem die brat Kartoffeln einfach traumhaft!!! Macht bitte genau so weiter ihr seid einzelartig.

Wohlverdiente 5 Sterne! Ein Restaurant in der Nähe des Dortmunder HBF‘s, welches ich schon seit 2011 besuche. Für den kleinen Hunger empfehle ich den Adana Dürüm. Ansonsten ist der gemischte Grillteller mein Favorit. Die gebratenen Kartoffeln dazu als Beilage sind köstlich. Neben viele Fleischgerichten gibt es noch Fischgerichte. Die Liebe zum Detail ist in diesem Restaurant Gesetz.

Yemekler gerçekten çok lezzetliydi personeller cana yakındı. Fakat biraz daha hızlı olabilirse çok memnun kalırız fiyat 1 tık ortalamanın üstündeydi.

Die gemischte grillTeller war nicht gut, und die kelnern laufen schnell weg. konsantrieren nicht viel für Tische schlechte Organisation. bardak war früher besser. jetzt leider nicht mehr.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Restaurant Bardak ist zweifellos eines der besten Restaurants in Dortmund. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist außergewöhnlich, und obwohl die Preise in den letzten Jahren im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen gestiegen sind, spiegelt sich dies in der unvergleichlichen kulinarischen Erfahrung wider. Die Auswahl an Fisch- und Fleischgerichten ist beeindruckend, und die Salate und Beilagen sind einfach fantastisch. Die Hingabe zur Perfektion ist in jedem Bissen spürbar. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Parkplatzsituation in der Umgebung kann etwas schwierig sein. Trotzdem ist jedes Essen hier ein Genuss und die Atmosphäre sowie der Service runden das Gesamterlebnis perfekt ab. Ich freue mich darauf, auch in Zukunft Gast bei Restaurant Bardak zu sein!

Haben hier vor einigen Tagen auf Empfehlung gegessen (Geheimtipp). Das Essen war, ob Fleisch oder Fisch, sehr gut. Die Portionen waren wirklich reichlich. Hier bleibt keiner hungrig. Und preislich auch absolut in Ordnung. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wer auf gutes und leckeres Essen wert legt und Ambiente nicht so wichtig ist, ist hier definitiv richtig. Vor allem ist der Adana Teller zu empfehlen. Wir kommen seit Jahren nur wegen dem Adana Teller hier her. An keinem Ort der Welt habe ich besseren Adana Kebab gegessen. Absolutes Highlight dieses Restaurants. Dazu werden selbstgemachte, knusprige Kartoffelscheiben serviert, die ebenfalls richtig gut sind. Ich persönlich empfehle zusätzlich dazu yufka Brot statt Pide. Meine Frau bestellt immer die Hähnchenspieße oder aktuell verfügbaren, frischen Fisch und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Preise sind normal. Wartezeit ist gut. Überdachte Außenterrasse im Innenbereich vorhanden. Keine Kundenparkplätze, daher könnte die Suche etwas schwierig werden.

Bisher waren wir von Dortmund ja nicht so überzeugt, der Besuch bei Barduk Speisen jedoch hat uns unseren Aufenthalt versüßt. Der sympathische Service wurde lediglich von den leckeren Speisen getoppt. Die Neonbox sagt DANKE

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service (großer Kellner). Wir waren mit 20 Personen hier und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Ich/wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The grilled platter are fresh and big portion, I ordered the mixed plate so I have beef, lamb, chicken and bread on same plate, it's fulfilling and nice

Das Essen war lecker! Fleisch frisch und gut gegrillt! Portionen war richtig groß hab nicht geschafft alles zu essen 😅 Alles ok aber kein Superlative! Typisches türkisches Restaurant!

Ein kleiner Laden in einer nicht all zu schönen Ecke Dortmunds. Service ist ausreichend, aber bemüht. Essen ist befriedigend, aber nicht exzellent. Kann man machen, muss man nicht.

Vor dem Grillteller wurde ein türkischer gemischter Salat serviert. War nicht berauschend, aber ganz normal. Dabei gab es nicht warmes (frisches) Brot. Es waren Pide-Stücke und Falafel in einer Schale. Das Hauptgericht, unser gemischter Grillteller kam zügig. Es war warm und frisch. Das Fleisch war war nicht zäh, aber auch nicht schön weich. Kenne bessere. Die Rippchen waren kaum mit Fleisch/Fett bestückt. Das Kottlet kenne ich weicher und größer. Als Beilage gibt es nur frische frittierte Kartoflscheiben. Die waren gut. (Reiß oder Bulgur ist nicht möglich). Dip, Soße, Cacık gibt es auf Anfrage. In meinen Augen gehört das dazu. Die 0.2l Liter Cola sind auf jeden Fall zu klein. Scheint ein Familienunternehmen zu sein. Freundlich und nett. Eng war es, da wir schon mit dem Nachbartisch kommuniziert haben. Parken ist sehr schlecht und die Gegend ist auch nicht sehr berauschend.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Lokal. Der Chef ist immer vor Ort und ist sehr bemüht die Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Leider klappts mit der Kommunikation bei der Servicekräften nicht immer perfekt. Mehr Fischvariationen wären schön.

Bestes Grillrestaurant Dortmunds.. Die Ambiente verspricht nicht sehr viel, eher klein aber authentisch. Allerdings sind die Gerichte geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Der Adana ist besonders empfehlenswert. Die Kellner sind sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich. Immer ein Besuch wert.

Es gibt in Dortmund keinen anderen Laden, der Fleischgerichte besser zubereitet als Bardak. Das Fleisch schmeckt hier immer sehr lecker. Ganz zu schweigen von den selbstgemachten Pommes 😋 Daher eine klare Empfehlung von mir 👍🏽

Bitte Edit lesen: Ein Essen vom feinsten. Das Adana Kebap, Beyti oder auch der Bardak Teller. Selten so ein leckeres Essen gegessen. Selbst spät abends (23 uhr) immer noch frisch und sehr lecker. Edit: Ich muss leider revidieren. Nie wieder... Die Qualität ist innerhalb der letzten 3 Male rapide gefallen. Das Essen war komplett versalzen oder sogar verdorben. Auf Anfrage ist der Chef nicht mal an unseren Tisch gekommen. Außerdem haben wir den Kellner ebenfalls probieren lassen und er meinte, dass er schaut was er machen kann. Leider nichts getan. Das Essen mussten wir trotzdem bezahlen. In sehr kurzer Zeit sind wir Stammgäste geworden. Die Kellner als auch der Chef haben uns persönlich begrüßt und kannten uns sogar beim Namen. ABER jetzt hat dieser Laden mindestens 8 Gäste für immer verloren.

Ich wurde am Samstag von meiner besten Freundin überrascht und wir waren hier essen. Wir waren zu 4. und hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte. Fisch und Fleisch waren in überragender Qualität. Super freundliches und geduldiges Pesonal. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir werden jetzt öfters hingehen.
