Anadolu Restaurant in Remscheid

Not recommended – more show than substance! So, we actually just wanted two doner kebabs and a börek, very simple, very classic. Then we were suddenly "recommended" a doner kebab plate – let's be honest: it was simply forced on us. In the end, we went for the kebab. The doner kebab? It was okay. Not bad, but also absolutely nothing special. Purely average. The "börek" was a bad joke – it wasn't a real börek, but more like a hastily thrown-together pide with cheap cheese. No feta, not even close to it. Just run-of-the-mill industrial cheese. Anyone who knows real börek knows: that's an insult to Turkish cuisine. And now comes the kicker: The atmosphere was miserable. You felt unwelcome, somehow cold and uncomfortable – as if you were disturbing someone. And then, when we got the bill, the shock: They charged MORE for the pide with cheap cheese than for the doner kebab! A whopping 9 euros! For what? For cheesecake? Honestly, it wasn't anything. Bad atmosphere, mediocre food, and exorbitant prices. We won't be back. And we won't recommend it to anyone.

The lentil soup was excellent and tasted superb. The consistency was perfect, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The bread, especially the pide, was freshly baked and delicious. It had a pleasant crust and a soft crumb. The combination of soup and bread was ideal. The value for money is absolutely reasonable. I highly recommend this dish. An all-around delight.

I really like the daily special there; it's very tasty. Unfortunately, I've noticed every time I go to lunch that, as a German, I get a much smaller portion. When I asked, this was denied, even though I was standing next to them. That's why I don't go there anymore... unfortunately...

We ate there today... well, I can only say... doner kebab that didn't really taste good, pale on the plate. Although there are no fries, you have to pay full price... once and never again!

Delicious kebab! Fluffy and easy to eat. The bread is a 10/10. Very nice staff, natives of Solingen and have been running this business in Remscheid for 26 years.

The atmosphere could be better. The taste of the food is generally good. We ate lahmacun once and it was very undercooked and the inside wasn't very tasty. But the soups and the types of pastries they offer in the morning are very nice. I advise

I was always cautious about pizzas from Turkish restaurants because I prefer New York style, but your kebab pizza is very, very tasty. The meat is really juicy and the pizza isn't too dry, definitely again sometime

Hier gibt es für uns die "Beste" türkische Pizza in ganz Remscheid. Jede Pizza wird frisch zubereitet. Super Lecker.👍🏻⭐👍🏻⭐👍🏻⭐👍🏻 Mittags wechselnde Gerichte alles Super lecker und sehr gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Einfach mal ausprobieren es lohnt sich. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! 🤤👍🤤👍🤤

Essen war Okay und Tee war kostenlos.

Man muss fairerweise erwähnen es ist eher ein Imbiss als ein Restaurant. Aber die speisen haben weit bessere Qualität als die eines Imbiss. Immer frisch immer lecker und vorallem immer freundliches Personal. Die türkische Pizza ist hier besonders zu empfehlen und hervorzuheben.

Seit Jahren sind wir hier Stammkunden und stets sehr zufrieden. Leckere türkische Imbissgerichte mit fairen Preisen. Freundliches Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wer nicht nur Döner sondern andere türkische Gerichte mag, ist im Anadolu gerne willkommen. Das Lokal wird von Schülern genauso besucht, wie von Familien und Einzelpersonen verschiedenen Nationalität. Ein Döner mit oder ohne Pommes, türkische Pizza, Suppen und weitere Fleischgerichte sind ab mittags zum Direktverzehr oder Mitnahme. Morgens wird ein Frühstücksbuffet angeboten. Ich gehe gerne ab und zu mal hin, auch wenn nicht alle Gerichte am Nachmittag oder frühen Abend noch zu bekommen sind.

Hier gibt's den besten Döner in der Umgebung. Immer lecker! Dazu noch mega nette Mitarbeiter und sehr serviceorientiert. Der ganze Laden ist super sauber und die Preise top! 😘
