Adana Et Restaurant in Köln

We ordered a mixed plate for two, very tasty and a lot. We couldn't eat it together. Ayran is super! We visited in June 2025. Their grilled food is super.

The food we ate was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The service is not good at all, excuse me but they act according to your money. Some people ask "did you like it" every minute, some even bring a menu when you enter (you take it from the table next to you). Don't expect anything special.

We were in Cologne, and that meant we had to go to Adana Et. Despite it being a Saturday evening, we were quickly seated at a table for three. We received a very warm welcome, and our drinks arrived very quickly. And then the food was just like you'd expect from a vacation. The Adana grilled meat was delicious, and our daughter also really enjoyed her Dürum. We'd love to come back!

As a local from Adana, I found the kebab to be very delicious, we came with our family, the service was good, the portions were large. The meat doner was also good, but it would have been better if it was less salty. A place we will come back to when we want Adana, I recommend it.

According to Lieferando, it's the best kebab in Germany – but in my opinion, it's unfortunately a long way off these days. You used to be able to go there, get friendly service at a reasonable price, and get a top-notch kebab. Unfortunately, now you get a kebab dripping with grease. Depending on whether you know the Usta, the meat is cut crispier – but usually not. Everything has to be done quickly these days, and that's why the meat isn't as cooked as it used to be. The biggest downside, however, is the service. Most people don't really care about "please" or "thank you." It used to be better. They've apparently been resting on the hype here – a shame!

Doner kebab meat is way too salty and cut way too thick. Salad fresh and good. Bread good, but little taste. Unfortunately, what ruined it completely was the huge amount of sauce. Unfortunately, ready-made cocktail sauce instead of fresh garlic sauce/alternatively tzatziki has no place on a kebab. Unfortunately everything just tasted very salty and like the sauce. You could hardly taste the salad and meat.

Called at 12:31 a.m. with another cell phone and suddenly someone was available again. Statement “Can’t find the order, I’ll get back to you in two minutes” 1:00 a.m. Still no order but the app suddenly says that the order was successfully placed at 11:17 p.m. False statements!, lies?, number blocked? Didn't get any food that evening! LATER ADDITION I was reimbursed the money by the restaurant via Lieferando and I also believe that they were overwhelmed because there was a lot going on at the time, so another star, but then they should just communicate it early on, then you can look for an alternative.

The Adana Kebap was completely dry. Better order something else.

We used to order there several times and the store was a solid 3 out of 5. But today's order was completely insane. Rarely have we had such good meat, everything was perfect, especially the künefe.

Top address! Doner tastes very good and the quality is consistently good. Staff and service are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely not recommended – food poisoning after consumption! The three of us were in this restaurant last night (around 11:30 p.m.) and each ate a large Adana dürüm with lamb skewer. Shortly after eating it, we all experienced massive health problems: stomach cramps, diarrhea, in one person even vomiting, high fever and a medically confirmed case of food poisoning. This person has since had to be treated in hospital and put on a drip. The symptoms began immediately after eating, which strongly suggests improper preparation or spoiled ingredients - especially meat. We would like to strongly warn against visiting this restaurant and especially against eating meat dishes. Very disappointing and absolutely dangerous to your health!

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen – Lebensmittelvergiftung nach Verzehr! Wir waren gestern Abend (gegen 23:30 Uhr) zu dritt in diesem Restaurant und haben jeweils einen großen Adana-Dürüm mit Lammspieß gegessen. Kurz nach dem Verzehr traten bei uns allen massive gesundheitliche Beschwerden auf: Magenkrämpfe, Durchfall, bei einer Person sogar Erbrechen, hohes Fieber und ein ärztlich bestätigter Fall von Lebensmittelvergiftung. Diese Person musste inzwischen im Krankenhaus behandelt und an den Tropf angeschlossen werden. Die Symptome setzten unmittelbar nach dem Essen ein, was stark auf eine unsachgemäße Zubereitung oder verdorbene Zutaten – insbesondere beim Fleisch – schließen lässt. Wir möchten eindringlich vor einem Besuch und insbesondere vor dem Verzehr von Fleischgerichten in diesem Lokal warnen. Sehr enttäuschend und gesundheitlich absolut bedenklich!

Our favorite Turkish restaurant. Kele paca with fresh garlic sauce is amazing. The meat here is high-quality and always perfectly seasoned and grilled. Whether it's lamb, veal, or chicken, the doner kebab is top-notch. My kids also love it here. The chicken comes juicy from the grill to the plate. The price/performance ratio is very good. The ayran also tastes excellent and is homemade. We order frequently and are very satisfied with it.

The best kebab and grilled meat I've ever eaten. I'm 200 km away from this restaurant and it's really worth visiting this place. I've been there 4 times and it's always the same high level. The flavor of the dish comes from the meat, not the sauces. Phenomenal food.

Uber Eats on a Sunday 12:30 p.m.: Doner sandwich (beef) €7.50 ordered for delivery. Delivery was very quick, about 30 minutes. However, I got diarrhea and flatulence after consuming it. I don't have a sensitive stomach as I eat fast food regularly. That's why I won't order again in the future. Beef probably wasn't good.

I just ordered this mixed Karisik Izgara and had it delivered. Wonderfully tender meat and superbly prepared. When I'm in Cologne again, I'll eat there with colleagues. Really a good restaurant.

This is what happened after the domestication of wheat, the Industrial Revolution, the two world wars, the fall of the Berlin Wall, 9/11 or the Corona pandemic. Based on this, I divide my humble existence into a "before Adana Et" and a "after Adana Et". With little to no expectation, I entered the packed restaurant for the first time at 2 a.m. on a December Sunday morning. Famished from the long game of tennis, I quickly scanned the menu and spontaneously decided on an Iskender kebab. I've been addicted ever since. I go to Adana Et almost every week, willingly accept long waiting times during Ramadan and drag all my friends to the restaurant. I hope my life won't split up again. At least not in a “before I overeat on Iskender kebab” and in an “after”.

This is the place we went to for the first time in Cologne, trusting that it was a Turkish taste, and left dissatisfied. For the price, the food was not tasty at all and the service was slow. I don't recommend you go.

Des dürum (döner dans une fine galette de pain) savoureux, tellement que nous sommes retournés en déguster deux jours plus tard... Une viande parfumée, une galette de pain fraîche et souple, un vrai régal ! Tout est fait maison et cela se sent. En prime, ce n'était pas gras du tout... Un excellent repas avec d'excellents ingrédients. Service efficace et attentionné. Un grand merci 👍

I came especially from Bochum to eat what is supposedly the best kebab in Germany. So I don't know if it's the best, but it's really really tasty!!!

There was a bearded and glasses-wearing brother, we bought kunefe, and he offered us tea. God bless us, we were craving tea, but when we bought kunefe, we didn't buy it because it wouldn't be expensive. Künefe was also very nice, we will come again 🫠

We ate Adana and Urfa wraps. The adana was a little oily, but the urfasi was very good. It is very similar to the ones in Turkey, it is also very good to have light ayran.

When the food gets later in the evening, we go to Adana Et. All dishes are recommended. For starters we always choose the starter plate, which includes some pastes and bread. I wanted to get a kebab plate, but the friendly employee advised against it because he said I would definitely get a stomach ache because the skewer had been there since this morning and it was “already” 6 p.m. First of all I have to say that the service is really good and you can't complain, but the most important thing to me is the food and that was the biggest shame ever. Since I'm not supposed to get kebab meat (on the employee's recommendation), I got Sac kavurma with Kuzu et and FIRSTLY it didn't taste good at all and SECONDLY I had to throw up right in front of the shop and I didn't have any more diarrhea. I'm not a person with a sensitive stomach or anything, the food is just disgusting. Just the fact that an employee warns me about the kebab meat and I have to get something else that will tear me apart just as much is really embarrassing. For a good shop and the best kebab in Germany, Adana Et is definitely no longer recommended to Vallah I think it's a real shame because Adana et was once my favorite shop. 1 star for the service, otherwise zero

Very nice and good restaurant near the city center of Cologne. On a Saturday evening we got a seat without a reservation and even had a free choice of seats. The remaining spaces filled up quickly during our visit. We ordered appetizers, various meats and a pide. Everything was good without exception. The salad could be a little less oily, but that would be too critical. The portions are large and good value for money. The service was attentive and quick. We can recommend Adana Et Restaurant at any time.

It's good, but it's really stupid that you can't have normal kebab in your bread. You are thrown outside if you want to order a kebab.
