A lovely little restaurant with great service and very tasty food. The 3-4 course menus on offer are highly recommended if you want to try different dishes on the menu. Overall, highly recommended.

I can say that it is the best Turkish restaurant in Dusseldorf, the staff are friendly, the interior is really nice, there are Ataturk posters everywhere, the importance given to our FATHER made us even happier, thank you for everything.

I was totally thrilled. My friend and I had such a great and enjoyable evening here. I definitely recommend the house's varying fish specialties. Today we had grilled sea bream fillet as a side dish of vegetables and potatoes and it was excellent, fresh and to the point. We'll definitely be back!!!

I usually don’t write reviews, but after my experience at La Turka by Seda in Düsseldorf, I felt compelled to share. It started off with a simple question – I asked the waiter if the restaurant was halal. He replied quickly, “Yes, it’s halal,” but then mentioned they also served wine. His tone seemed a bit off, and that was the first sign of discomfort. When we sat down, we noticed that the menu was available in both English and German, but the English was difficult to understand. Despite the fact that the waiter was the only person working at the time, he didn’t make an effort to assist us or clarify anything on the menu. We struggled to figure out what to order, but he didn’t offer any support or show any interest in helping us. We placed our order, and after a 20-25 minute wait, the waiter suddenly told us they only accept cash – no card payments. That was a huge surprise, especially in a place like Düsseldorf, where most businesses accept cards. It felt a bit strange and out of place. Cash-only in such a busy city just doesn’t seem to make sense, and it raised some red flags for me. What made it worse was that it felt like we were being treated unfairly. It was as if we were being judged or treated with suspicion for no apparent reason. This wasn’t the case with other customers around us, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. It came across as discriminatory, and it left a bad taste in our mouths. In the end, the service was disappointing, and the way we were treated was uncalled for. It was a far cry from what I would expect in a place like Düsseldorf. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

I was really disappointed with my experience at La Turka by Seda in Düsseldorf. When I asked the staff if the restaurant was halal, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. He told me it was halal but also mentioned that they served wine, which was fine, but his tone was not very welcoming. The menu was in both German and English, but the English was hard to understand, and the waiter didn’t make any effort to assist us, even though he was the only one working in the entire restaurant. We struggled to figure out what to order, and he never offered any help or guidance. I found this really strange, especially in a city like Düsseldorf, where paying with a card is the norm. Nous avons été victimes d’un comportement profondément choquant et raciste dans ce restaurant. Alors que nous étions en vacances à Londres, nous avons commandé un repas et attendu patiemment plus de 20 minutes. Lorsque nous avons voulu régler par carte bancaire (le seul moyen de paiement à notre disposition), le responsable a refusé sans aucune explication valable. Malgré notre respect et nos efforts pour communiquer en traduisant le menu, nous avons été chassés de l’établissement en pleine nuit, sous la neige, dans des conditions inhumaines. Ce traitement discriminatoire et inacceptable est un exemple de tout ce qui ne devrait jamais exister dans un endroit qui accueille des clients. Nous espérons que cette situation servira à sensibiliser les futurs clients et, surtout, à encourager une remise en question des pratiques et du personnel de cet établissement.

We were victims of deeply shocking and racist behavior in this restaurant. While on vacation in Dusseldorf we ordered a meal and waited patiently for over 20 minutes. When we wanted to pay by credit card (the only payment method available to us), the manager refused without any valid explanation. Despite our respect and our efforts to communicate by translating the menu, we were chased out of the establishment in the middle of the night, in the snow, in inhumane conditions. This discriminatory and unacceptable treatment is an example of everything that should never exist in a place that welcomes customers. We hope that this situation will serve to raise awareness among future customers and, above all, to encourage a questioning of the practices and staff of this establishment.

Unfortunately very disappointed, the meat was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a knife and couldn't eat it, unfortunately I had to leave everything behind :/ I find the prices very unfair for the small quantities, and I also found the service person to be quite inattentive and unfriendly. 2 drinks 2 main courses 2 desserts and all for 110 euros. The worst that exists in the entire European Union. We got 3 coffees for 3 people and after 15 minutes the owner came drunk with style and asked us to order again. We hadn't even drunk half of our coffee. We politely told him that we are drinking our coffee and after 3 minutes he came threw the receipt on the table hit his hand on it and told us to pay now .. After 10 minutes the waiter came and asked us to leave so others can sit. Shame on you. Rather professional as far as it goes

Horrible, they were really mean and we were just peacefully drinking our coffees and chocolates while playing cards and they just came, yelling and taking our cups and telling us "This is not a Casino! A very nice restaurant experience from start to finish. The service was very attentive, all the dishes were absolutely excellent and prepared with attention to detail.

A sullen, high-pitched waiter was helpful. His attitude was far from polite. The quality of the food is definitely average or below. They used bitterness in every meal. I think the comments are completely exaggerated. We ate better food in the city. Prices were unnecessarily high. Price performance is bad. The taste can be considered average or below. Definitely not going again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! If you haven’t already, I highly recommend checking out their Mittagskarte. It has a great selection of high-quality dishes at affordable prices. My all time favourite dish is the Mix Grill Teller. 😋 Enjoy!

I expected better in terms of taste, but overall it was good. We bought the 4-course fix menu. There were cold appetizers, hot plates, mixed grills and dessert. The appetizers were delicious, but I can't say the grill was great. I've eaten much better ones, but they were average in taste. A 3-piece dessert plate comes, it was different and delicious.

I arrived in Düsseldorf in the evening and was looking for a restaurant. Since it was relatively late, I searched on Google for nearby restaurants that were still open. La Turka by Seda was a suggestion and I decided to go. After a quick check to make sure the kitchen wasn't completely cold, I was taken to my seat and I have to say: that was a great end to the day. Great ambience and great service. The food was perfect. It made me really happy and happy that I got something else. When I'm back in Düsseldorf, I'll definitely come back.

All dishes are incredibly tasty and the service is outstanding. In addition, there is the most loving welcome from dogs. Thank you very much, dear La Turka team, for conjuring up a perfect evening for us every time. We always like to come!

I visited the restaurant this year and have to say that I was completely impressed by the size of the restaurant and the ambience. This is exactly how I imagine a restaurant! I don't really need to say anything about the food, but it deserves every recognition: it was really tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. The service was friendly and attentive, which further rounded off the experience. This is exactly how a restaurant should be! I hope it stays that way - I'll be happy to come back and can only warmly recommend it. PS: I only have to criticize one thing, the toilets were very unhygienic and disgusting... that shouldn't be the case! (And that's why unfortunately 4/5)

We went to this place for the celebration of my father's birthday. Our first expectation having read the reviews and upon witnessing the ambiance was quite high. But unfortunately it ended as a complete disappointment. In summary, the restaurant tries to dress itself as offering high end Turkish cuisine but fails on multiple grounds. First of all, the service was terrible. One waiter literally serving an entire room of people, causing him to rush everything and long waiting times. The quality of the food was not bad, but for the price definitely overpriced and small portions, not to mention the desert was a complete fail. They basically took 'pismaniye' a form of turkish cotton candy and wrapped it around basic supermarket ice-cream somehow supposed to make it high end dining. The meat was cooked well and tasted good too, but again for that price you can find much much better options in the city. Last but not least, we mentioned several times it was a birthday celebration so a small gesture would not have been so bad. Anyways, long story short, I do not recommend this place.

TLDR: manager scolding customer for drinking water. Stay away. It was an incredibly bad experience. I can't find anything to say about the rudeness of Ms. Seda and the other employees. I explain it impartially and leave the situation to your evaluation. We ordered the menu for 2 people, consisting of hot appetizer, cold appetizer, main course and dessert, and we did not order drinks. After eating our appetizers, while waiting for our main course, I drank a very small amount of water that my wife took out of her bag due to an emergency. Thereupon, Ms. Seda came to our table and asked, "Did you drink water?" After asking, he started to scold us for drinking the water next to us, with extremely rude words, simple tone and an unacceptable high tone of voice. I quote only some of his words verbatim: “This is a restaurant, the problem is not just drinking water, but drinking anything. You cannot drink any beverage, regardless of the water, coke or fanta you brought with you. If you have a health problem, you should have told us in advance. As a result of the events, although our main course had not been served yet, we still wanted to pay the full bill and leave the place. Since we paid the full bill, he wanted to have our main meal packaged and given to us. However, even though we paid the full price, we did not accept the package because, naturally, he humiliated us in front of everyone in the restaurant, so we did not want to eat that meal even though we paid for it. The restaurant, which treated us as if we were cheap because we did not order bottled tap water, charged us in full for the main course, which had not even arrived at our table yet, and the dessert, which had not even started to be prepared yet, without the slightest reservation. At least, it did not leave the question of who was cheap or not unanswered in my conscience, thank you! If, as a potential guest reading this comment, you think that I did the worst thing in the world when I decided to drink my own water in an emergency situation, I would like to remind you once again that Ms. Seda directly scolded us by embarrassing us to everyone without questioning anything. I invite the lady manager - if she has the courage and honesty - to share her chilling ideas about restaurant etiquette here in Germany with her potential customers on this platform and to defend her establishment that denies even the most basic human need, a sip of water.

But even though we paid the full price, we didn't accept the package because we didn't want to eat the food even though we paid for it because he humiliated us in front of everyone in the restaurant. Oh - he looked at me - I haven't been in the helicopter so quickly before. Short, the restaurant doesn't have one Landing area for helicopters!

Hier passt alles! Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und ansprechend, unsere Bedienung war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und professionell. Wir hatten einem gemischten Vorspeisenteller - und der war super! Ein paar Scheiben mehr Brot (sehr gut und angeröstet) wurden auf Nachfrage direkt gereicht. Der ausgewählte Wein war nicht mehr verfügbar, dafür ein wirklich adäquater Ersatz angeboten. Unsere Speisen waren alle sehr gut! Sehr schmackhaft, sehr frisch, sehr gut! Die Hühnerbrust mit Walnußsauce war super lecker, der Hackpieß und der Fleischspieß sehr gut. Rundherum alles super - wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We were in this restaurant last year with the entire staff (Christmas party). We made reservations by phone, but unfortunately there were no free places available at first. However, they reported back the next morning because another community canceled, which was an outstanding gesture. An example instead of 9.90 e.g. for the Adana Kebap it suddenly costs 13.90. The stated time 12-4 p.m. is actually 12-3 p.m. for lunch. The lunch menu on the Internet should be changed quickly, but it's not really a problem. Then it fits here.

Everything worked out perfectly. The atmosphere is modern, unusual and at the same time very cozy. The food, including starters, tasted very good and the portions were just right. Great service! Great food at absolutely fair prices and simply an evening that is second to none! A role model for many Turkish restaurants. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Very pleasant upscale atmosphere. Friendly, courteous service. As a starter I had sesame crackers filled with cheese on mini cream, very tasty, I would have liked more mint cream. The grill plate was great - not overloaded, well grilled meat with a very excellent roast jus.

I have never eaten such good Adana kebab, everything was so good and delicious.
