La Turka by Seda in Düsseldorf

Very tasty selection of wonderful Soeisen. And attentive service, it was a lot of fun to eat here. I would be happy to recommend it.

I expected better in terms of taste, but overall it was good. We bought the 4-course fix menu. There were cold appetizers, hot plates, mixed grills and dessert. The appetizers were delicious, but I can't say the grill was great. I've eaten much better ones, but they were average in taste. A 3-piece dessert plate comes, it was different and delicious.

If you’re a fan of lamb, this Turkish restaurant is a must-visit! The lamb dishes are exceptional, tender, and full of flavor. Another standout is the veal liver—perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommended!

I arrived in Düsseldorf in the evening and was looking for a restaurant. Since it was relatively late, I searched on Google for nearby restaurants that were still open. La Turka by Seda was a suggestion and I decided to go. After a quick check to make sure the kitchen wasn't completely cold, I was taken to my seat and I have to say: that was a great end to the day. Great ambience and great service. The food was perfect. It made me really happy and happy that I got something else. When I'm back in Düsseldorf, I'll definitely come back.

All dishes are incredibly tasty and the service is outstanding. In addition, there is the most loving welcome from dogs. Thank you very much, dear La Turka team, for conjuring up a perfect evening for us every time. We always like to come!

I visited the restaurant this year and have to say that I was completely impressed by the size of the restaurant and the ambience. This is exactly how I imagine a restaurant! I don't really need to say anything about the food, but it deserves every recognition: it was really tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. The service was friendly and attentive, which further rounded off the experience. This is exactly how a restaurant should be! I hope it stays that way - I'll be happy to come back and can only warmly recommend it. PS: I only have to criticize one thing, the toilets were very unhygienic and disgusting... that shouldn't be the case! (And that's why unfortunately 4/5)

I strongly recommend this amazing Turkish restaurant. They combine the traditional and modern cuisine. I definitely will be there again next time in Düsseldorf.

Ate a burger at the La Turka stand at the food festival in Mülheim. Unfortunately this one wasn't good at all. Frozen goods and a cheap burger bun. Not recommendable.

Unfriendly and snooty owner! I asked the two students at the entrance if I could use the toilet because it was really urgent. One then went two steps further to the owner and asked her. Of course I could hear her answer. She didn't want me to use the toilet under any circumstances and wanted me to be sent on my way. And her snooty look 😂 I would have paid money for it and probably ordered something if they had listened to me and perceived me as a customer. But unfortunately I can only agree with the bad reviews. We ate here for the first time today and it was great. Starter, main course and dessert were very tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Price performance was also right.

We went to this place for the celebration of my father's birthday. Our first expectation having read the reviews and upon witnessing the ambiance was quite high. But unfortunately it ended as a complete disappointment. In summary, the restaurant tries to dress itself as offering high end Turkish cuisine but fails on multiple grounds. First of all, the service was terrible. One waiter literally serving an entire room of people, causing him to rush everything and long waiting times. The quality of the food was not bad, but for the price definitely overpriced and small portions, not to mention the desert was a complete fail. They basically took 'pismaniye' a form of turkish cotton candy and wrapped it around basic supermarket ice-cream somehow supposed to make it high end dining. The meat was cooked well and tasted good too, but again for that price you can find much much better options in the city. Last but not least, we mentioned several times it was a birthday celebration so a small gesture would not have been so bad. Anyways, long story short, I do not recommend this place.

TLDR: manager scolding customer for drinking water. Stay away. It was an incredibly bad experience. I can't find anything to say about the rudeness of Ms. Seda and the other employees. I explain it impartially and leave the situation to your evaluation. We ordered the menu for 2 people, consisting of hot appetizer, cold appetizer, main course and dessert, and we did not order drinks. After eating our appetizers, while waiting for our main course, I drank a very small amount of water that my wife took out of her bag due to an emergency. Thereupon, Ms. Seda came to our table and asked, "Did you drink water?" After asking, he started to scold us for drinking the water next to us, with extremely rude words, simple tone and an unacceptable high tone of voice. I quote only some of his words verbatim: “This is a restaurant, the problem is not just drinking water, but drinking anything. You cannot drink any beverage, regardless of the water, coke or fanta you brought with you. If you have a health problem, you should have told us in advance. "You are ruining the image of our restaurant with this action." Some employees of the venue also asked, "Why didn't you keep the water on the table then?" (As we drank it and put it back in the bag), "We haven't seen anyone acting like you in Germany, it's the first time it's happened to us." (Because we drank our water, the most basic need in the world, at the restaurant) They supported their valued bosses with meaningless questions and unnecessary anecdotes such as: He tried to humiliate us in front of many people in the restaurant. Today was a special day for us and they ruined it with what they did. Unfortunately, being a top-class restaurant as they think they are is not just about selling bottles filled with tap water to customers and marketing the appearance of glass bottles as quality. As a result of the events, although our main course had not been served yet, we still wanted to pay the full bill and leave the place. Since we paid the full bill, he wanted to have our main meal packaged and given to us. However, even though we paid the full price, we did not accept the package because, naturally, he humiliated us in front of everyone in the restaurant, so we did not want to eat that meal even though we paid for it. The restaurant, which treated us as if we were cheap because we did not order bottled tap water, charged us in full for the main course, which had not even arrived at our table yet, and the dessert, which had not even started to be prepared yet, without the slightest reservation. At least, it did not leave the question of who was cheap or not unanswered in my conscience, thank you! If, as a potential guest reading this comment, you think that I did the worst thing in the world when I decided to drink my own water in an emergency situation, I would like to remind you once again that Ms. Seda directly scolded us by embarrassing us to everyone without questioning anything. I invite the lady manager - if she has the courage and honesty - to share her chilling ideas about restaurant etiquette here in Germany with her potential customers on this platform and to defend her establishment that denies even the most basic human need, a sip of water.

But even though we paid the full price, we didn't accept the package because we didn't want to eat the food even though we paid for it because he humiliated us in front of everyone in the restaurant. O - at the back right (he shows me a parking garage!) X- abi gel gel, look up Abi, what are you looking at? O- Helicopter🚁 X- where is parking for helicopters? Oh - he looked at me - I haven't been in the helicopter so quickly before. Short, the restaurant doesn't have one Landing area for helicopters!

Hier passt alles! Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und ansprechend, unsere Bedienung war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und professionell. Wir hatten einem gemischten Vorspeisenteller - und der war super! Ein paar Scheiben mehr Brot (sehr gut und angeröstet) wurden auf Nachfrage direkt gereicht. Der ausgewählte Wein war nicht mehr verfügbar, dafür ein wirklich adäquater Ersatz angeboten. Unsere Speisen waren alle sehr gut! Sehr schmackhaft, sehr frisch, sehr gut! Die Hühnerbrust mit Walnußsauce war super lecker, der Hackpieß und der Fleischspieß sehr gut. Rundherum alles super - wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We were in this restaurant last year with the entire staff (Christmas party). We made reservations by phone, but unfortunately there were no free places available at first. However, they reported back the next morning because another community canceled, which was an outstanding gesture. If there were 10 stars we would give this restaurant 10 stars. It is a very upscale restaurant, but not overpriced like 90% of the other restaurants. Here you get the best service in all of Düsseldorf. Wonderful management, courteous staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Always my pleasure!

The taste of the food was good, but like almost everywhere, the portions could have been a little larger. Service friendly and the ambience is really nice. Comfortable chairs, nice guest room. But the prices and offers of the lunch menu on the Internet differ greatly from the lunch menu in the restaurant in week 8 2024. An example instead of 9.90 e.g. for the Adana Kebap it suddenly costs 13.90. The stated time 12-4 p.m. is actually 12-3 p.m. for lunch. The lunch menu on the Internet should be changed quickly, but it's not really a problem. Then it fits here.

Very pleasant upscale atmosphere. Friendly, courteous service. As a starter I had sesame crackers filled with cheese on mini cream, very tasty, I would have liked more mint cream. The grill plate was great - not overloaded, well grilled meat with a very excellent roast jus.

The food was tasty but not like original Turkish delicacies. or I ordered "Mantı with mushrooms" but they brought me an Italian ravioli (unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it). Sarma (felt grape leaves) was good but it would have been better if the inner bulgur had been cooked more. Otherwise the atmosphere was very nice and luxurious. You can actually come here to celebrate, but unfortunately it's not a good idea to come for a gourmet tasting.

We went to La Turka yesterday after work without a table reservation. The background was that my friends should try the dessert “Künefe”. Without further ado we went to the restaurant and asked if there was a table available for 6 people. We were immediately shown to a table and served very nicely. Unfortunately I can't say much about the food, but as most people have already mentioned here, the atmosphere is very nice and the staff are very nice. As already mentioned above, we ordered 3 Künefe. And I have to say myself that after a long time I ate a really delicious Künefe again. Even my friends loved it and couldn't get enough. Thanks again to the entire staff at La Turka.

It's a very nice, warm atmosphere in Düsseldorf, the music in the background makes you feel like you're in Turkey. The appetizers, the delicious food, thank you for everything. Shrimp and beyti wrap were delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The ambience and background music were outstanding. Our choice for starter, the meze platter, was served artfully decorated and impressed both visually and tastefully. The main courses, Çöp Çiş and Karisik ızgara, both earned a perfect rating of 10/10 due to their excellent meat quality. The only point of criticism is the comparatively small portions, which is why a starter is recommended for guests who are very hungry. Overall, La Turka is highly recommended and I definitely plan on visiting again!

I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance to celebrate my birthday with my friends. When I was there today, I was told that there were no free tables left, despite a reservation.

The taste, presentation and service are amazing. I am also happy that there is such a beautiful place in Germany. In one word, it is magnificent. It is a clean place that we will always enjoy going to as a family. I congratulate you.

After a long 4 hour drive we arrived at the restaurant. We were refused because we had a baby (6 weeks) with us. Our baby did not cry and was otherwise very calm. The older man who helped us indicated that there was no room for the baby and made no effort to help us. Good luck with your beautiful restaurant.

Wir sind zufällig hier gelandet. Die Stadt war während der Adventszeit extrem voll und wir suchten ein nettes Restaurant mit gutem Essen und ohne zu viel Trubel. Wir hatten Glück einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu bekommen! Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service freundlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Meine Tochter und ich lieben dieses wunderschöne Restaurant. Die Herzlichkeit sowie das sehr sehr sehr gute essen genießen wir jedes Mal aufs neue. Die Garnelenpfanne ist einfach genial. Dazu bestellen wir uns immer den leckeren scharfen Dip Atom. Der Name des Dip‘s trifft es auf den Punkt. Das gehobene Ambiente und die stilvolle Einrichtung sind immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Also wirklich fünf Sterne + verdient

Hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen. Die Mittagskarte ist abwechslungsreich, das Essen lecker im gehobenen Ambiente. Parken kann man direkt im Gebäude für 2 €/h.
