I love this place so much! Edit: I was asked if I live alone… kinda sus tbh Everyone is so super friendly, the food is so delicious, and it's always open somehow!? It's simply always my go-to shop when it comes to doner kebabs and dürüm.

The best döner I’ve had since I moved to Düsseldorf! The staff are always friendly, and some of them speak English very well. The salad is always fresh too. However, I’d really appreciate it if they could turn down the volume of the music or maybe play some nice Turkish music instead. Every time I go there at evening, they play loud party music, which makes me end up taking my order to go because it’s just too loud inside.

I can't say whether it's the best kebab in Düsseldorf, but it's by far the BEST we've ever had here. It's a minced meat skewer, so the only comparison is with a minced meat kebab. But it's definitely one of the best. The salads are fresh, the fries are crispy, and the kebab itself is delicious. The sauces are also SUPER DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is okay; you can sit in the back or outside on the street, but it's not particularly cozy.

I have to comment on my comment from a year ago! Serving old meat and stale bread is outrageous!

We went to Dene & Gör in Düsseldorf and had a plate of doner kebabs – absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were excellent. The place was clean and cozy, with a few places to sit and eat. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. We'd love to come back!

What a delicious chicken döner sandwich! For years, we've made a visit to Düsseldorf a must-try. Good value and quality, a truly filling sandwich with a delicious sauce. Parking is a bit tricky, but you can find it at the adjacent supermarket (paid).

Anyone looking for a really good döner or dürüm in Düsseldorf can't miss dene&gör. My chicken dürüm was a real stunner – a whopping 550 grams (€8), and not stretched with fillings, but with a whole lot of meat. You immediately notice that they place great value on quality and generosity. The taste is absolutely top-notch: juicy chicken, perfectly seasoned, with fresh vegetables, and a flatbread that's slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Every bite is balanced and simply leaves you wanting more. No wonder dene&gör has long been considered Düsseldorf's best diner – the whole package is just right: portion, taste, quality, and value for money. If you're in the city, you should definitely check this spot out.

We were there yesterday at 2 a.m. We ordered two yufkas and a doner kebab. The chicken was skin, not meat. We wanted to eat the meat, not the skin, and we told the employee that it wasn't good, and he said next time you come, we'll do better. 🥲 I don't recommend this kebab shop.

Really good kebab. I was drawn here after reading some reviews, and I have to say, I haven't had such a good kebab in a long time. The kebab men are in a good mood as always, and the kebabs and atmosphere are top-notch. I can recommend it to everyone!

I only stopped by because Shawarma City was too crowded. I couldn't even eat half of the fries. There was so much cartilage, skin, etc. in the chicken. This is supposed to be the cult kebab from Ddorf?!

The price is a little bit expensive for budget travelers but the portion is really big (I bought Doner Tasche for 6.5 euro, you can share the doner with another person) and the food is really good

Wow, this was so good! The bread was wonderfully warm and crispy, the meat was good, and the vegetables were fresh. The sauces were a perfect finishing touch. Very filling and flavorful. These guys have remained loyal for decades. The kebab still tastes the same as it did 20 years ago in Yedegör. The portions are always the same; as a Düsseldorf resident, you've known what you're getting for years. Respect! That's consistency that many new kebab shops can't even achieve in two years. Keep it up! I go there weekly for my kebab :).

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The portions are very generous. The döner is delicious and the flavor of the wraps is excellent. The chefs are truly skilled in their craft. The prices are also quite reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.

Very nice. Generous portions of kebabs and fries! The sauce wasn't quite my taste... perhaps you could dilute it differently... it was a bit greasy... but I prefer the French flavor... maybe a bit more of that... the other white one tastes too much like mayonnaise for me... but otherwise a nice shop... everything is very fresh, thanks to the large customer base and the high turnover of food throughout the day!

This place is fantastic. I had their felafel taschen 2 days running. It was so damn delicious. Lots of sauce, fresh salad and the bread was to die for. My bf had the chicken shawarma the next day and it was enormous! Such good value for money. The team are super friendly and they are CONSTANTLY cleaning which gives me confidence. Always super busy too. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, only 4 stars. The meat, bread, salad, and sauce were all great. Too many staff. They talked too much among themselves. As a result, the sauce in the bag was only on the right side. The food was bad; the left side of the bag was completely dry. Therefore, only a good 4 points.

We each ordered a Dürüm kebab last night. It was delicious and filling. We were out and about in Düsseldorf all evening and decided to eat here. We were not disappointed. We'd be happy to come back. Thanks to the team, they were very friendly and attentive.

My husband discovered this kebab shop by chance while walking through Düsseldorf this morning. It's incredible (and good!) that you can get a kebab here as early as 8:30 a.m. €6.50 is a great price! The bread is nice and thin and crispy. You can choose between three kebab skewers. They also serve small filled börek with kebab meat! Absolutely fantastic kebab! Every time I have an appointment in Düsseldorf, I visit Dene & Gör!
