Certainly not the best kebab in the world, but very decent. There's always a lot in a kebab. Above all, the value for money is very good.

Difficult. The meat is very tasty. But the red sauce (cocktail sauce?) actually goes with the meat. The white garlic sauce has a mayo-like consistency. I'm expecting a yogurt sauce (cacik) here.

For me it's a nice thing to have it in Düsseldorf, I like to go there when I want a kebab.

A timeless classic in the heart of Düsseldorf. The number one place for a kebab, especially late at night. It's super fast, even when it's busy.

The price is reasonable for a doner kebab, at 6.50, and the dürüm was also very tasty. Everything was great. 🔝 All the staff were very nice. But Ahmet and Fuat Abi, who prepared my doner kebab today, were even more friendly. I hope they stay as friendly and welcoming.

I don't usually give 5 stars to every shop, but here at dene&gör I was very pleasantly surprised. The dürüm was delicious. I recently had the doner kebab, which was also very tasty and for €6.50 it tasted even better. So it's pretty good in terms of price. But what I liked best, and that's why I gave it 5 stars, were the employees, all smiling, all very nice, for example Urfali Abi, etc. Everyone was very polite and nice, but the two I liked the most were Fuat and Ahmet Abi. Ahmet Abi asked the whole time if everything was OK, etc. And Fuat Abi was very friendly. He prepared my dürüm for me and told me it would taste amazing, and to be honest, it tasted absolutely amazing. He's really good at preparing dürüm doner kebabs and always has a smile on his face, at least that's what I noticed. When you prepare something with love, it tastes even better. Eyvallah, I'd come back for another meal sometime. I was there last Saturday and was there again today. I drove almost two hours just for the doner kebab after I wrote my ZP because the doner tastes so amazing. I'll be back sometime when I'm in Düsseldorf or have money for the doner kebab.

Came to dusseldörf on holiday and went here on the first day, couldn’t stay away for the rest of my time there. Great food, great chat, at a very reasonable price as well.

The first place we stopped by in Düsseldorf was Recep Abi's place, which caught our attention because of its name. It wouldn't be a lie if I said that the döner was the best döner I've ever eaten. We would also like to thank Recep Abi for his hospitality, conversation and helpfulness.

The conversation between Urfalı Recep Abi and Gazianteplı Anıl is great. The döner portion is very large. I recommend the chicken wrap.

It's hard to believe this kebab has so many positive reviews. For me, it was one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten.

We ate two types, meat and chicken. My hometown Urfalı Recep Bey helped us with our choices. Well done. Both were great. It was the best döner I have had in Germany.

Update: Went there again today and unfortunately it wasn't really recommended this time. The meat wasn't cooked properly and neither was the bread. Portion was also much smaller and everything had no taste. Yes, there was a lot going on, but then the customer just has to wait a bit, the quality shouldn't suffer. Can't say at the moment whether we would come back!!! Was there for the first time today based on a recommendation. I can only say that they have the best kebab here. Everything is fresh, the meat is amazing and the portions are large and all at a great price. It's worth going there. 😎👍🏻

Just had a kebab here, not great at all. The meat was below average, the fries weren’t that good, and they drowned everything in sauce… is it because I payed 50 cents for it? Since when do you charge extra for sauce with a kebab?

3 of us couldn't finish it, there is too much material. Also, the conversation is enjoyable. While we were chatting, I also met my fellow countryman from Urfa, Recep. There are many doner restaurants around, but this is the friendliest and best place.

I have eaten here and I have been in Germany for 15 years and I can say that I still have not eaten anything like it.

This place is on a whole other level 🤤 Extremely good quality meats and vegetables. Everything tasted fresh, probably because they go through the ingredients so fast. The portion size is huge! The Döner bread is also extremely delicious, and fresh. It has a wonderful crispy exterior. Finally the price is very good for what you get. This place is amazing…

Went here last night after a good night out in Dusseldorf! Staff were really helpful and on point. The order was perfect, I got a mixed donner box with spicy and garlic sauce, and a friend got a mixed pita with everything on it. Overall, great food, fair prices, and an enjoyable atmosphere!

After the countless rotisserie pockets that I have eaten here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. The special trips from Mettmann sometimes take place at night, as this kebab acts more like a drug than a meal. Always my pleasure.

I have tried all kinds of döner hundreds of times in Adana, Antakya, Istanbul, Ankara. But I have never tasted such a wonderful döner in my life. If the döner I eat here is like what we eat in Turkey, I really don't know. All the staff is smiling, happy, helpful. Also, it is a very clean establishment. You can eat all kinds of döner with peace of mind.

We ate German-style doner kebab here for the first time in Dusseldorf and our family loved it very much. The portion size is very filling and the veal is especially delicious. The pilaf did not taste good to us; I think it's because it's made of basmati rice and it's so bland.

I find it very impressive that you can choose between Yaprak meat and minced meat kebab, the meat is very tasty and the owner was very welcoming.

We came from Berlin to Düsseldorf because of the Rose Monday procession and then bought a kebab for the first time in a long time. We are still amazed! I have never eaten a kebab like this in all of Berlin (!)! The kebab was absolutely great, the portion was generous and the price was more than decent. The service is very friendly, which is not a given in Berlin. Big recommendation. We'll definitely come back as soon as we're back in Düsseldorf. If we still lived in North Rhine-Westphalia we would definitely make a pilgrimage here once a month!
