Lezzet in Düsseldorf

I went out to eat with my wife. We ordered cold tapas and hot tapas for two people, and what arrived was ridiculous. The cold tapas consisted of nothing more than yogurt mixed with cucumber or garlic for €30. The hot tapas weren't tapas at all, but small plates of fries for €24. Seriously, for that price, I could order truffle paste for two people. We paid a total of €110 and weren't even full.

I ate there with my colleagues and ordered platters with different dishes (vegan, vegetarian, carnivore) for several people – we received two platters that were completely unappetizing. When we asked for two extra dishes, they arrived 20 minutes later. The vegan dish came with yogurt. Cow's milk products are NOT vegan! It's not hard to understand, but they need to know that. That was my last visit.

We had food here with a group of 16 people. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff did an amazing job. They were flexible, fast and friendly. Food was amazing. We had a brilliant evening here. A big thank you to the staff.

The location is very nice. We went there on a recommendation. We didn't like several things, so we left the restaurant disappointed. We ordered a small bottle of Raki Gold, but received a large one. We were told they didn't have any small bottles and would charge us for the remainder. The bill for the full bottle came to €160. My ordered fillet was so tough that cutting it was very difficult. When we asked why it was so tough, they said the meat needed to rest. After asking again, I finally received a replacement dish. All the plates were cold, so our meal was inedible in the end. Our fruit plate was decorated with sweets, which we were told were on the house, but we were still billed in full. On average, €85 per person. Far too expensive for a cold meal. I will not recommend this restaurant again. What a shame! 🤨

The food was delicious. But in my opinion, the location is too dark, and the menu descriptions aren't very helpful. 😅 I imagine Iskender to be something different than what I received. 😅

They offer both meat and vegetarian options. I recommend ordering an appetizer, or at least a salad – they make them really well! They also serve alcoholic beverages. The seating is very comfortable and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation. Hygiene is a top priority; the waiters wear gloves when setting out the dishes. The restroom is wheelchair accessible.

It was very expensive, 1 adana was 28 euros too expensive, 1 Mercimek was 9 euros too expensive and the service was bad too!!!!!

Always delicious and good. Sometimes the music inside is too loud at lunchtime.

After serving food once on the table, no waiter was available to attend the table, in case the customer needs something extra.

Upscale restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and friendly service. Price range from 18 to 38 for main courses. Tables elegantly set in white. A diverse clientele, from young to old. Nothing fancy. Not stuffy. Everything was relaxed and casual. It was easy to have a good conversation in the dining room. Not too loud. The service was extremely friendly from the moment we entered until we left. The dishes were explained nicely as we were served. Between courses, we were asked when we could continue. We had the set menu for 51 per person and were not disappointed. Starter plate was excellent. Main course: 5 types of meat, cooked to perfection. Delicious lamb. The rice was also as it should be. Not too dry. The dessert made us burst. The walk afterward is a must. Pilsner is €4, Prosecco is around €9, wine starts at €8. We can recommend it if you want to enjoy Turkish food in a good atmosphere. You pay a little more, but you get the quality and the ambiance, including friendly service. It's not a restaurant that caters to families with kids. More for couples and a nice group of friends. A very good and complete grilled meat. Exquisite Halal meat and they offered us a leg and carrot salad as a starter. We ordered two mitxgrill dishes (hamburger, chicken, and two pieces of meat). Two glasses of Merlot and one large sparkling wine. About €80. It was worth what we paid

Delicious food and great service. At the end of the evening we spent 150 euros on a bottle of wine and main courses, so you can still eat well for reasonable amounts. Recommended!

Top service, very tasty food & drinks!

We had a lovely fun evening at Lezzet! Our waiter brought a lot of humor to the whole room and fulfilled our every wish. The food was great and the lamb was also on point.

Zero recommendation, the store is more of an illusion than it is. There is only a single operator, the others are rubbish and snot cheeky, the food is a disaster, only warmed up vegetables were not even cooked through just like the meat. Afterwards we were and are very, very sick.

The menu offers a wide selection of Turkish dishes that are not only visually appealing but also taste good. I chose the Adana Kebab and it was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Of course, a piece of baklava was a must for dessert - incredibly fresh and tender. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair, especially when you take into account the quality of the food and the well-kept ambience. I can recommend Lezzet to anyone who wants to experience authentic Turkish cuisine in Düsseldorf. An absolute insider tip!

It's my first time going to a Turkish restaurant... I've only had kebabs or Adana kebabs at Dongnam Bis, but the whole dish - octopus and grilled goat cheese - was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend the lamb steak (Sultan Kebab)!! The lamb ribs are just amazing. Be sure to go there.

Had dinner at Lezziz with my family. But it was really disappointing!! Wow!! The waiting time was 45/50 minutes for main course. The chicken was really tasteless. No spices at all. The prices were way too high for what you get and especially the quality. We got rice but the amount of rice was less than my child's menu. Sorry but this was a very bad experience at this restaurant. Not recommended. I would certainly look elsewhere if you want good food for a normal price. I wasn't even asked if the food was good, so I think they know their quality themselves. My wife just got a stomach ache from eating!!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Lezzet und absolut begeistert. Stilvolles, modernes Ambiente, super freundliches Personal und spitzenmäßiges Essen. Die kalten Meze waren ganz frisch und sehr lecker, die gebratenen Auberginen- und Zucchini-Scheiben perfekt, weil nicht zu ölig und die Fischsuppe auch ganz toll. Die überbackenen, gefüllten Champignons waren auch extrem lecker und der Lammrücken auf Granatapfelsoße einfach nur spektakulär. Das Essen ist nicht ganz billig, aber jeden Cent und Euro wert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

It was our first time at Lezzet and we absolutely loved it. Stylish, modern atmosphere, super friendly staff and great Turkish food. The cold meze were very fresh and very tasty, the fried eggplant and zucchini slices were perfect because they weren't too oily and the fish soup was also really great. The baked, stuffed mushrooms were also extremely tasty and the rack of lamb in pomegranate sauce was simply spectacular. The food isn't cheap, but it's worth every cent and euro. We'll definitely be back.

I couldn’t find a phone on Google, so reserved through the fork service. When asking about the phone they said I would have found it on the website. We were 4, went for dinner. Service was excellent, the food was perfectly prepared, served and tasted great. Prices were reasonable. Thank you very much for a great experience.

When you enter the place, the harmony of authenticity and modernism and its lighting make it a suitable place to dine. I was very pleased that the staff was friendly, practical and tolerant, and the price and performance were also very reasonable. Excellent fish quality & well prepared. Generally fresh ingredients. Attentive & friendly waiters. Starters are a bit small for the price, otherwise very tasty and fresh. Feel free to brush up on your wine knowledge. Flickering lamps are rather disturbing for the ambience. Modern Turkish music is ok, preferably with less bass and a little quieter to be able to have a better conversation. Room & clothes smelled a bit like the kitchen - maybe check the extractor hood. Otherwise I'd be happy to go again 👍🏼

Heerlijk gegeten met 7 vrienden. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. We waren alle voor het menu gegaan. Dit was een mix van koude en warme mezes die alle erg goed smaakte en een goede plank vlees, groentes en rijst. Naderhand nog heerlijke mix van verschillende Turkse toetjes. Wat mij betreft een aanrader!

The waiter was immediately annoyed, even though there wasn't much going on at lunchtime. He cleared it even though I hadn't even swallowed and was still chewing - impossible. He made it clear from the start that he didn't want my girlfriend to have me there. Food was too greasy, but the taste was definitely okay. It's a shame, the waiter ruined everything with his behavior.

The tables are spaced very appropriately apart so that there is as much privacy as possible. The service was always attentive, very quick and very nice. Really good! 5/5 We had a starter and main course as well as a round of espresso for dessert. Everyone was thrilled with the quality, preparation and taste. My mixed fish plate was great. In particular, both fish and vegetables are fried on point and really tasty. The food also came quickly and at the same time. ME hardly possible better. 5/5 Everything was very clean and well maintained, including the sanitary facilities. As always, furnishings are a matter of taste. In any case, we sat quite well. 4/5 For the quality and service, the prices, which are not cheap but definitely reasonable, are definitely justified in my opinion. Therefore, I rate it 4.5/5. In total: 18.5/20 - and for me a deserved 5/5 rounded up. We'd love to come back! Recommendation!

Das Essen war gut , aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Lautstärkepegel leider viel zu hoch . Man konnte sich nicht mal vernünftig unterhalten obwohl wir nebeneinander gesessen haben. Bisschen enttäuscht war ich von der Gastfreundschaft, trotz einer Rechnung von 250€ haben wir nicht mal einen Tee oder ähnliches bekommen.

We were warmly greeted by the waiter. Atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant even if it is a bit noisy (Friday evening). The starter plate for 1 person is a bit expensive for my taste. 12.50€. The homemade bread is super tasty and fresh. The main courses were all absolutely top quality. The meat is tender and well seared. Tasty and spicy. Sauces first cream!!! Both curry honey sauce and the sauce at Adana. At the end there was tea on the house. Patience and friendliness are very important here. But you should also bring them with you as a guest.

Everything was great, I can definitely recommend fish! The waiters were also very nice and often asked if everything was OK. One point deducted because the store is very dark. We still had the case that the store was completely full and therefore loud... I could hardly understand the person I was talking to. But the food and service were great! Thanks

Yesterday we were at the Lezzet restaurant with 8 people and had a wonderful evening. The starters, the food, just outstanding. I would like to mention the friendliness of the service. You feel very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for the hospitality. I only have one request: the knife on the cutlery wasn't sharp enough to cut the excellent meat properly. The meat was torn more. Maybe do an exchange here. But that's just a small thing. We will definitely visit the restaurant again and recommend it to others.

We went here randomly for dinner as the place we wanted to go to was closed. The service was good and they spoke a bit of English and had an English menu, which was appreciated. The food unfortunately was bland at best and very expensive. We found the meat to be a bit tasteless and dry. We even ordered an extra sauce to add a bit of moisture during the meal. We paid €133 for a couple of drinks each (non-alcoholic), one shared starter and 3 main courses. I would not go back.

The food is good quality and cooked well. We tried the meze platter, mixed grill. Everything was good. Would bring guests to try Turkish food when in Dusseldorf.
