Medinem in Düsseldorf

We went to have lunch at this establishment. Not all dishes from the menu were available. There were no soups. Ordered a doner. Our order was prepared quickly. The taste of the meat was good, but the rice had an aftertaste. Prices are attractive. The check for two with drinks, lahmajun and two main dishes was about 25 euros. Portions are large.

The best kebab I've eaten in my life, honestly it was great! The establishment is very clean, the owner was very kind despite the fact that we do not speak German, On the other hand, be careful with the hot sauce, it doesn't mess around 😆

I ordered lahmacun and fries. The fries were good, but instead of lahmacun I ate bread with tomato paste. Although the ambience was nice, I can't say the same about the Lahmacun.

We drove to Medinen especially when we were really hungry. We didn't get anything except air because the store was closed. No sign on the door.

Yesterday I was in this restaurant and had pide with cheese. It was really tasty and the seasoning was good. The person working in the oven speaks Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish and German. This makes it easier for customers to communicate with him. This is the first time but not the last and I highly recommend trying this restaurant

I was at Medinem yesterday and paid 6.50 for a very small kebab with very little meat. Not a problem in itself, but what stands out is the horribly terrible service and the treatment of customers in the Google review comment column. Just because the owner charges €6.50 for a kebab he thinks he can treat everyone on the internet however he wants.

Finding a good kebab in Düsseldorf is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But what makes a good kebab? Is it homemade bread? No minced meat skewer? The sauces? The good service and the clever question: “What can the boss do today?” I think a good kebab makes the overall package of everything. Medinem advertises its own marinated chicken skewers on a charcoal grill. Sounds great, that's why I went to Medinem and wanted to test it. A kebab for €6.50 and a Turkish pizza were ordered. Size: Doner kebab is very small, doesn't fill a grown man up. Turkish pizza: Bigger, okay. Taste: UNFORTUNATELY only standard. I was hoping for more. It wasn't a taste explosion. Relatively far too much hot sauce, very little meat, maybe 50g, even though I was really looking forward to it :-( Unfortunately, iceberg lettuce. Standard sauces, nothing special. I still see a need for optimization here! The best thing was the bread. Unfortunately overall it's too small, hardly any meat and too expensive. Then I'd rather pay €10 and get a real portion. Service: Employees seemed stressed. Turkish pizza was forgotten. Doner kebab arrived cold. A customer asked how long it would take for the food to be ready. On the other hand, the employee said if she can't wait 10 minutes she should go to McDonalds. An absolute no-go for me. At the moment I can't recommend Medinem any more. I will come back in 3-6 months and test it. Thank you if you have read this far.

Healthiest döner and very delicious

Luckily our canteen had nothing left to eat, otherwise I wouldn't have discovered this great shop. Super friendly people, normal prices (!), meat from the charcoal grill and the dough flatbreads come fresh from the stone oven. Definitely try it!

I ate the lahmacum with meat. Real cuisine with lots of craftsmanship! Everything was freshly prepared. The dough from the wood-fired oven and the meat fresh from the charcoal grill. A pleasure. Anything but industrial standard kebab.

To be honest, I'm not sure what to write. I have always walked there and thought it looks so tasty I want to try it .. but!! Although it is grilled, and the bread is freshly baked But I was not impressed at all, not special at all The grilling taste is not there For me, I will not go there again

This shop is an absolute insider tip. The breads are freshly prepared every time for Dürüm etc. There is no garlic in the white sauce either, it is traditionally prepared with yoghurt. Splendid! 😊

The most annoying thing is the cleanliness , i have to clean the plates before i use and clean the table before i sit , I hope the restaurant staff takes this assessment into consideration for not losing customers . 👍

Friendly service, chicken kebab grilled directly on charcoal - that's what makes this shop very special. My Dürüm tasted good, but it could have used a little more meat. The taste of the grilling was clearly palpable, very exceptional.

You shouted at her behind the counter and said: “At the train station, the kebab portion costs 9 euros.” Her behavior embarrassed us all. As the owner's wife, you don't have the right to be naughty. Anyone who pays their share properly doesn't need any share of your insolence. Nobody eats for free here! You have actually proven yourself to be very unfriendly with your answer. Always happy, very tasty, lean staff

I first received a mini children's kebab for €6.5. When I opened the kebab it was still ice cold. The smell of the chicken wasn't the best either. The meat wasn't cooked properly. Took the whole chicken meat down and only ate the kebab with salad. Now I have €6.5 less in my pocket and I have to poop out the whole thing after just 15 minutes and I'm still hungry as hell.

You can't complain. Nice service, solid prices and extremely tasty kebab. The bread comes fresh from the stone oven and the meat from the grill. It was the tastiest Dürum I have ever eaten.

Discovered this restaurant by chance, the prices are good, everything is freshly prepared. The large pizza was delicious and the two of us just finished it. You have to wait about 30 minutes for your food, but it's worth it!

I went for the brick oven because of the good reviews, but was extremely disappointed. My food arrived cold, even though I asked for it to be warmed once, it was lukewarm. My husband's meal was delicious, but there was an extra charge of €1 for just additional peppers and the drink (small ayran) costs €2. The restaurant and the ambience were totally inadequate for the prices, chairs were torn and wobbled extremely😅 not so good hygiene, not good service, had to fetch everything ourselves (cutlery, salt, drinks, etc.). It was also very cold inside and all the guests were sitting with jackets on. I wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances, there are plenty of better shops next door... to respond to the comment: Firstly, I'm shocked at how you respond to a comment so personally and aggressively. I didn't say in any way that I thought the food was good, but luckily remaining friendly and grateful, especially to the staff, is part of my manners! Should I make fun of her because I wasn't happy with my food or make a face? would that be better? and what's the point of the comment "they strangely ate everything"?! My god, how unprofessional are you?😅 I also learned to finish my food because it is still something valuable, regardless of whether it tastes good or not. If you had responded to my comment in a nice and accommodating manner and perhaps had another specialty from the menu that you thought was better, I would have been happy to come in again. Now I believe the negative comments even more. And her store was a bit emptier compared to other stores, there's probably a reason for that. Maybe just take criticism and see what you can do better and what you can invest in😅

Sehr leckeres essen! Das fleisch was auf der holzkohle gegrillt wird, verleiht dem fleisch einen nicht gewohnt, leckeren geschmack. Der tee ist kostenlos, mitarbeiter freundlich, war vollkommen zufrieden.

Die Inhaber sind extrem unfreundlich und unfassbar unprofessionel. Außerdem schwärmen sie von ihrem angeblich so tollen Fleisch, obwohl man die Tiefkühlfalafel und Preisgestaltung kritisiert. Preis Leistung stimmt hier einfach nicht, auch wenn alles teuer geworden ist. Für das selbe Geld bekomme ich bei vielen Restaurants/Imbissen besseres Essen. Die Preise sind nicht richtig aufgelistet (mehrere hastig mit Edding durchgestrichene Preise, die dann beim bezahlen doch andere sind). Die Art wie Bewertungen hier beantwortet werden ist lächerlich, weit weit weg von der angemessenen Professionalität die man als Inhaber an den Tag legen sollte, zb folgende Antwort auf sachliche Kritik: „du solltest in Azerbaijan essen, ich weiß auch wer du bist“ …Jetzt wissen wir alle zumindest was für ein widerlicher Mensch der Inhaber ist. Nicht jeder der was zu bemängeln hat ist neidisch oder lügt, jeder der über 8 Jahre alt ist sollte das verstanden haben aber manch einer wird wohl nie erwachsen. Statt den dreckigen Laden sauber zu halten setzt man sich den ganzen Tag hin, erstellt immer wieder neue Fake Accounts, um sich selbst 5 Sterne Rezensionen zu geben. Bemitleidenswert. Danke für die 0 Punkte, ich weiß gar nicht wie ich mich davon erholen soll…aber werde mich wohl schneller davon erholen als dein Ego von berechtigter Kritik. Getroffene Hunde bellen nunmal, also bell ruhig weiter 😄 Und bevor du euren tollen Döner weiter anpreist: ich hatte nicht mal einen Döner sondern diesmal nur eure TIEFKÜHLFALAFEL die ihr AUFWÄRMT. Etwa auch mit Buchenholz? Ne bestimmt mit Gold! Anders kann ich mir nicht erklären wieso ein falafelsandwich und ne kleine Pommes so viel kosten. Ich gebe gerne auch mehr für essen aus, aber wenn die Qualität das nicht rechtfertigt gebe ich die entsprechende Bewertung ab, egal ob das dem allen Anschein nach pubertierenden Besitzer passt oder nicht. Bringt erst mal eure Tafel und das Restaurant in Ordnung bevor ihr hier Lobeshymnen auf eure unfassbar tolle Qualität anstimmt. Mehr als lächerlich und die 2€ Trinkgeld haben euch von dem geizhals doch auch geschmeckt oder? Da war ich noch „Bruder“ und wenn ich berechtigte Kritik äußere bin ich ein geizhals…man merkt ihr seid wahre Profi Gastronomen und Gastgeber mit Herz - nicht.

Sind zu besuch in Düsseldorf gewesen und waren planlos und hatten uns einfach für den Laden hier entschiede. Was sich später als sehr gut herausstellte. Leckeres essen sehr nette Mitarbeiter.

Die Pizzen schmecken nirgendswo besser! Definitiv wird hier die beste Pizza gemacht. Das einzige Problem ist, dass der Laden manchmal zu voll ist und wir kein Platz finden.

Meinem ist ein super Laden. ich gehe immer wieder dahin. Ganz ehrlich das ist einer der besten läden überhaupt. Neben dem Dönerfleisch kann ich auch die Pizza empfehlen. Die ist superlecker

Ich mach es kurz und knapp. Günstig. Qualitativ Unterste Schublade. Kleine Kinder (wahrscheinlich von Mitarbeiter) schreien rum, laufen überall und stören die Kunden. Ich hoffe, dass ich keine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekomme.

Der Laden ist wirklich sauber und ich finde, hier bekommt man den besten Döner. Der Holzkohlegeschmack ist einzigartig.

The Perfect Döner place!!! This is probably the best Döners I had in Düsseldorf. They uses a wood grill and a wood oven for cooking and it gives an authentic taste which can’t be matched with electric ones.

It is a bit of a family restaurant. There were kids and I kinda had the idea that their dads were the one working the restaurant, it was very nice. They have really fast service and are nice people. The food was really good and you get what you pay for. High quality for low prices! The only thing they can improve is to provide glasses with the drinks.

Wer wirklich einen leckeren Döner essen will muss hier essen. Das ist echter Döner mit einem unglaublich frischen und leckeren Geschmack. Die Pizza ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Ich muss ehrlich sagen dass die sich echt Mühe geben und einfach das beste Fleisch haben. Respekt

Schmeckt ganz ordentlich. Service war an dem Tag überfordert wo ich dort war. Komme aber nicht mehr wieder, da Kunden mit einem Hund rein kamen und dort gegessen haben, habe nichts gegen Hunde aber die haben nichts an so einem Ort zu suchen.

Medinem is best grill, pizza, döner etc Kölner str. 230 , 40227. Duesseldorf. The best place I ever visited in Duesseldorf. They always treat people with respect and love 💘❤💕. Either I went at the wrong time or the review rate geven was wrong I ordered shawarma and the food was cold and within half an hour I went to the bathroom sick, The service was slow and the worker did not understand English, the order was 2 soft drinks and 2 shawarma and the bill 16 euros، Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the order and the place , i was hungry and angry of the service and food , i im fan of shawarma roller but this not a place for it order any thing alse .

Alles war super lecker bis auf das Herzstück des Gerichtes. Das Fleisch wurde super aufwendig auf Kohle gegrillt, für mich persönlich hat es aber dezent nach Räucherlachs geschmeckt. Einen Stern abzug deshalb. Der zweite Abzug ist dafür, dass es teilweise nicht ganz durch war. Die Zutaten zum Dürüm sahen sehr frisch aus und die Pommes waren auch gut. Das Dürüm Brot / Yufka wurde im Ofen aufgebacken. Ich hatte auch noch Gözleme mit Kartoffeln bestellt, wurde aber vergessen und ich hab es danach nicht mehr nachbestellt.

Habe hier Döner gegessen u d der war sehr lecker. Das Fleisch wird statt auf einem herkömmlichen Drehspieß über Holzkohle gemacht und ist besonders saftig.
