Went to Sabo for the second time and both visits were wonderful! The chic atmosphere put me off a bit at first, but the lady in service and the chef were super nice and attentive! You feel absolutely taken care of. The gluten intolerance was well addressed and the chef made great suggestions. Even though we were there with 2 children and the rest of the guests were rather stylish, we felt very welcome. The service was super attentive, water was poured as soon as the glasses were empty, but it wasn't intrusive at all. There's even a playroom for the children, which I didn't expect. The fact that my guests only spoke English wasn't a problem at all. The menu is also available in English. The food was delicious and the selection was so big and good that we couldn't decide. That's why we moved away from it Let Koch surprise us and we were not disappointed. :) The team joked with us and was very funny. All in all, both visits were super pleasant and I can recommend it to everyone. There is also a large selection for vegetarians, as well as daily fresh fish offers. So, don't let the chic atmosphere put you off, the prices were absolutely reasonable for the quality! Fortunately, the fact that we arrived almost an hour later than reserved wasn't a problem at all. A spontaneous visit to Sabo turned out to be a great experience, despite a lack of time on our part! Very good Turkish cuisine, from the starter to the main course everything was delicious. After we were shown to our table, we were given a “Soguk Meze Tabgai” as a starter, consisting of four small rolls, a few olives, some red sauce, tzatziki and eggplant. We were charged €15 for this, but we were not told the price beforehand and it was only apparent on the bill that this starter was chargeable. However, the most disappointing thing about the restaurant was the main course. For a whopping €80 we got a 40cm fish, which was served with six small potatoes (4cm each) and some spinach. This portion was advertised for two people. The “Sac Kavurma” was served to us dry. Usually this dish contains liquids from cooking that are consumed with bread. However, the plate was dry and sauce was only brought to us after repeated requests. Conclusion: All in all, overpriced and disappointing.

We had dinner here tonight and it was fantastic. We ordered 5 mezzes (cold + warm) for us to share, and that was plenty of food. The "menti" was the star of the evening, all of our dishes were fresh and extremely flavorful Highly recommend!!!

This is an old-school restaurant in the best sense. The service is attentive, charming and leaves nothing to be desired. We wanted to eat fish, which made our waitress almost euphoric and they immediately served a plate with a bed of ice and fresh fish, brought it to the table and discussed a selection with us. We chose turbot and a sea bream. Then we chose the side dishes and the result was wonderful! We also had a starter and a dessert variation. The Turkish cuisine served here is fine and celebrates good taste. And the eye eats too. Each plate was lovingly prepared into a small work of art and the whole fish was professionally filleted and served at the table. I'm always annoyed afterwards that I forget to take photos. We were really full. The Turkish white wine to accompany it was also very suitable and went well with the flavors of the food. And the typical chai in the small glasses wasn't missing either. This restaurant may not be cheap, but it's definitely worth the price! I will definitely let myself be pampered there again.

That was a direct hit! Extremely friendly staff. A hospitality that I have only been able to experience on holiday on the Turkish Riviera. Fine Turkish cuisine. Specialties such as 'Sea bass in a salt crust'. Perfect presentation. Very good quality. High price segment. Card payment possible.

Quite successful! I went for the second time. All the dishes and appetizers we tasted were delicious. It is a company that is particularly prominent in meat processing. There is no unnecessary fat load in any of the dishes. There is also a well-thought-out room for children's entertainment. There is a menu suitable for both long dinners and short lunch breaks. Note: of course don't expect Fastfood prices.

Our final day in Düsseldorf and what better way to round off a great trip than by fine Turkish dining. The owner greeted us warmly and recommended a selection of cold and warm mezze plus some fabulous octopus. Often it can be chewy and rubbery, but this was prepared by a master of his craft. The white Turkish wine was also excellent. It's only a 15-minute tram ride from the centre and well worth the trip. All in all, highly recommended.

Had our wedding dinner here. Great food, from A-Z! Attention to detail. Turkish food at a high level that you won't find anywhere else in Düsseldorf! Thanks again! We will come back, often even!

Very good food. Not exactly cheap but good, friendly service. The wines were also very suitable. Unfortunately, different prices were charged for the same open wine for the same order. The maintenance of the toilet and access is also decreasing somewhat, which unfortunately no longer corresponds to the high price.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Y 👎 The location is nice but the prices are astronomically high. We paid 240 Euros for 6 people. There is no alcohol in this. 5 sugar cube size Meat and 2 olives are 34 Euros. Prices are one click lower than Dubai.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent and courteous. Absolutely old school and haven't seen anything like this in a long time. We were served by Nihat.

Where should I start? The three of us ordered a starter plate that didn't taste anything special and was topped with fat-soaked Böreks. Afterwards we got a meat platter for three people, on which there were exactly three lamb chops, a few pieces of chicken and three mini and completely dry pieces of beef. Three portions of snack rice were also served, which tasted like nothing. And everything came to the table cold. All this for €210.00 – a total disgrace. Here it is true to the motto “more appearance than reality”. Not recommendable.

White tablecloths and cloth napkins are a bit out of date. Otherwise you can sit comfortably in the bright winter garden. The lamb fillet was great, nicely prepared and served with fresh vegetables. There were lots of fresh, various fish on display, including turbot. The waiter is very nice and happy to talk.

Wir waren gestern Abend bei Sabo, am Eingang wurden wir schon Herzlich von einem Herren empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet. Wir wurden erst persönlich zu den Speisen beraten , sowohl auch ala Cart! Es kamen kalte und warme Vorspeisen die köstlich waren, dazu der passende Türkische Wein (ich wusste nicht das Türkei so gute Weine hat) , danach gab es Fisch der am Tisch filetiert wurde, Lamm und Huhn. Zauberhaft auf den Punkt gegrillt, mit Orientalischen Aromen, ich könnte weiter und weiter schreiben, meine Empfehlung, Leute selbst hingehen und die Gastfreundschaft und Speisen erleben! Und einen besonderen Dank an den Gastgeber Niat !!!

I went there with friends and was totally surprised by the service and food. I don't expect anything out of the ordinary in a normal restaurant, but here my opinion of it being a simple restaurant was completely revised. I felt completely comfortable there, they thought the service was just there for us. Fresh fish was shown to us at our table and explained how he could make it for us. This effort alone is something I don't know about in this price range. The food was fantastic, the service felt like you were something special. So all in all, highly recommended and it won't be long before I eat there again, even though Düsseldorf isn't exactly around the corner, but the trip is always worth it. A visit to Sabo is worth it The service is great, the food is incredibly tasty and the atmosphere is nice and pleasant. In the middle of the first room there is a display with various fresh fish, which change daily and so do the dishes. Otherwise, the menu is clear and not too overwhelming.

Today we were there to break our fast. Food arrived so quickly, even though we were there just before breaking our fast, everyone tried so hard to make sure we ate on time. Super nice staff! Great atmosphere, very good service! I would recommend it to any of you, it's quality.

A nicely decorated Turkish restaurant in a plain location. The staff is very accommodating and friendly without being intrusive. The food comes nicely presented but is of average quality. The scallops were outstanding. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. The monkfish, on the other hand, was cooked far too dry, under a mountain of vegetables that were overall too dominated by dill. The hot and cold starters were... As expected from a Turkish restaurant, excellent. However, the bread that was served came far too early and was of course too dry by the time the starters arrived. The price-performance ratio is okay. Overall, a nice experience, but one that doesn't need to be repeated

We wanted to eat Turkish something different for our birthday, a little more upscale and a nicer ambience than the usual kebab store. The owner recommended rump steak to us, which we also took. Best rum steak I've ever eaten. Highly recommended for special occasions. Super nice service, nice atmosphere, I can only recommend it.

Ladies and Gentlemen I recommend the restaurant in Düsseldorf. Everything is beautiful, top service, taste 10 out of 10, all waiters/waitresses are super nice. Gamze is especially very nice and polite. But as I said, of course everyone was nice. I can only wish the best for the restaurant. Just a lovely evening! We were served very nicely and ate incredibly well. The warm starters including pumpkin, eggplant, zucchini and the main courses with lamb were absolutely delicious. If we are in Düsseldorf again, we would be happy to come back.

Went to SABO for breakfast today. From the reception to the farewell, everything was really great. The owner and his team are extremely friendly and completely took the decision-making process out of our hands when ordering, so we could just enjoy the food.

Even without a reservation, we were able to eat there for 6 people on a Saturday evening (!). We only had limited time, the food came very, very quickly (for everyone at the same time and warm) and the waiter was very helpful. A very classy restaurant with delicious, fine Turkish dishes. A restaurant where you can have a fancy meal. Absolutely recommended! The only problem is the limited parking options (roadside).

Decent mezes (yoghurt-based and vegetarian), shrimp stir-fry (karides tava) was great. But mains (grilled chicken, grilled fish) left a lot to be desired. Both tiger shrimps and chicken were way overcooked. Staff was kind and decor was upscale.

We came all the way from the Netherlands to this fabulous place. The food was amazing, especially the tapas. Main course nothing to add other than excellent! We loved the serviced and the attention they gave to every customer, feels so warm and welcoming. Exceptional food. Sabo and his team provided us with great service. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, Sabo made a special meal for us. When you walk in you are greeted with lovely fresh fish. There was 6 of us and we were all very happy. Every course was amazing. Can not fault at all. If ever in the city will be returning.

Ich war sehr kurzfristig mit dem Catering aber Sabo Restaurant hat mich nicht enttäuscht! Montag die Bestellung aufgegeben für Samstag, schnell ein Angebot erhalten alles lief reibungslos. Das Essen war wirklich 1A. Lieferung und abholen hat wunderbar geklappt. Also das Catering kann ich zur 100% weiter empfehlen, zumal alle Gäste gefragt haben weil es so lecker war.
