We had dinner at Sabo with 11 people, and it was excellent! The food was delicious, the servers were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderfully chic. I would definitely go back.

Terrible food, even the salt was not OK. Forget about meat, meze etc. As a Turkish, this level is way below the standard. Atmosphere is good, but waiting is too long. Took 90 mins for the main course. We paid € 50/each which is very expensive especially for this level of food.

Now we're going to learn from Sabo de Domenega and because of this we might end up in confusion. El cogo no xe confused invese, magna à good sponceti, hip I know the hot bread with the oil x and a lot of stuff for a Venetian in Germany. Once upon a time, Ghemo will have to take the cake, but once again it is also our fault that Ghemo won't order straight away. Pal rest nice place out of the way. I will return even if a moment away from the most serene republic

For me, Sabo in Düsseldorf is clearly one of the top three oriental restaurants in Germany – along with L'Orient in Hamburg and Shady's in Leipzig. The absolute highlight was the stuffed lamb: aromatic, tender, and perfectly prepared. The seafood also looked impressive and underscored the diversity of the cuisine. A fantastic restaurant with excellent service and a cuisine that sets standards. Definitely a place I will return to.

The welcome was warm, the host presented us with the fish of the day and recommended the perfect preparation – my mother's monkfish was a real highlight! Our dishes were also delicious, accompanied by fresh bread, homemade olive oil, and olives. The service was attentive and rounded off the evening with Turkish tea. A warm atmosphere, excellent cuisine – simply a special evening!

Today, my wife and I took my nephew, who was visiting from Turkey, to this restaurant. I found this place online and went because it had a high star rating. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had sea bass, my wife had Adana, and my nephew had sac kavurma. The food was delicious and fresh, and we loved it. We also ordered cheese and alinazik and yogurt shakshuka as appetizers, and they were also delicious. It was the best restaurant I've been to recently. I'd like to thank the owner and staff. The prices seem a bit high, but they deserve it; you can take your guests with peace of mind. Even the restrooms were spotless.

Well, on the one hand, 5 stars is far too few, and on the other hand, too many. The owner and the staff are very friendly, empathetic, and truly there for their guests. The guest room is very nice and beautifully furnished with linen tablecloths. As for the food: They serve olive oil for dipping beforehand. No Turkish olive oil, though, which is a real shame. We asked for advice when choosing our dishes. Everything was delicious, and we had a very pleasant stay. However, the bill did make us breathe a sigh of relief. One mint tea cost €6.00, and the second (they just added hot water) cost another €4.00. The fish was excellent, but €42.00 was simply too much for what was on the plate. A glass of wine was €8.00. All in all, really nice. But unfortunately, and we say this with deep regret, we won't be coming back. Yes, wages, rent, taxes, etc. We understand that, but we just thought it was too expensive.

I had a delicious fish dish that was perfectly tailored to my preferences. My mom enjoyed the tender beef fillet in red wine sauce with beef ham – a real treat! The owner was very friendly and even looked after my little dog – he was immediately given a bowl of fresh water. That shows how pet-friendly the restaurant is. We would definitely come back. It was one of the most enjoyable Turkish restaurants I went to in Düsseldorf. The meals were really successful in terms of both presentation and taste. I was very impressed that Turkish cuisine was served in such a careful and elegant environment. Especially the appetizers and fish were really fresh and their flavors were memorable. The hospitality and attention of the owner of the place, Sabahattin Bey, made the experience more special. I travel frequently for my job and go to many restaurants; Therefore, I can say with peace of mind that Sabo is one of the restaurants that best represents Turkish cuisine in Germany. I strongly recommend it.

In one word, it was terrible. Do not go even if you are hungry, you will get even more hungry. We were still waiting while the tables coming after us were eating. The waiters are trying to be attentive, but they are clearly inadequate. I will neither go nor let anyone go again. A waste of money, time and enthusiasm.

The food was good, but unfortunately I have to complain about the service. I was there with the taste 12 book and had already announced this when making the reservation by telephone and when I arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant agreed. We ordered a starter, main course and dessert and spent a total of 108 euros. When paying, it was admitted that the voucher book was noted in the system, but our service staff had not entered it when the order was placed. Therefore, the implementation of the voucher was refused and we were literally rejected without a compromise solution or any suggestions other than “just say that next time”. It's not about 24 euros, but about the way the conflict was handled, which signaled that our objections fell on deaf and, in particular, disinterested ears. This is not adequate customer interaction. Disappointing.

I came across it randomly during a business trip, and I'm glad I did. Great service, amazing tastes, if you want to eat seafood in Düsseldorf, you should definitely stop by. We would also like to thank Ms. Gamze for her interest, concern and smiling face.

Our first time visit exceeded our expectations. The reception was very warm and the service was excellent. The food was very delicious. We have found our favourite restaurant Second visit 08/12 When we entered we asked for to sit on the balcony which was totally empty. We were told that it is reserved for the coming hours. But until we left 2 hours later there were no one sitting theres. Once we entered we were basically jumped on by the waiter pushing us for ordering one of their fresh fish on display, and generally hurried us to order. Interestingly, during the whole of our stay the restaurant was empty with the exception of ourselves and one lady eating alone. I ordered the fish (one of those on display), assuming that it would be in the same price range as on the menu. It turned out that it was much more expensive. Needless to write that the over-pricing was the theme of the day. In the end, the total was over 200 Euros for 3 adults and one child, which is about 50% higher than when we were in the same restaurant last year, at about the same time. This restaurant will definitely be avoided next time we are around.

135€ appetizers were brought that were never ordered. All they wanted was some bread and tzatziki. Waiter unfriendly, does not respond to guests' requests. A giant prawn was charged at €24 and not even oil, salt and pepper were used in the preparation. The reviews presented are incomprehensible.

Hello, I am a Turk living in France and I am visiting Dusseldorf for touristic purposes. I had the opportunity to experience different Turkish restaurants in Europe and I can say with peace of mind that Sabo restaurant is by far the best Turkish restaurant among them. I ate the kebab on November 23rd and the stuffed manti and stuffed manti on the 25th of November and I liked it very much😍I was positively surprised that they made the stuffing and manti, which we know as mother's food, so delicious. In addition to the beauty of its dishes; The elegance and friendliness of the employees, the elegant design of the place and the ambience created with beautifully selected music also made me happy. In summary, if you ever come to Dusseldorf, I recommend it without hesitation😊 Thank you again for the service and friendliness provided for two days😊

Food definitely 5 stars. We had karnı yarık and beyti kebap. I've been eating karnı yarık all my life. I didn't think such a simple dish could still surprise me. That speaks for the chef. The meze were also a delight. Thumbs up. Service only 4 stars, because we didn't want fish, we even said so, we were offered fish several times. No, we don't want fish, it should be enough. I think it was asked 3 times. No matter what they comment or write that the fish is good or whatever. A “no thank you” should be understood. All in all, 4.7 stars.

They offer Turkish cuisine in the ambiance of European restaurants. The taste is better than most restaurants in Turkey. It was also instructive that they wrote the names of the dishes on the menu in Turkish instead of translating them into nonsensical English/German and gave the contents in German/English in a way that other people could understand. It is pleasing that they teach the original name, just like French and Italian restaurants.

Sabo Restaurant always makes us feel at home. It is a place you should visit when you come to Düselldorf and you will never regret its food, tastes and services. Especially Sebahattin Usta and Gamze Hanım are the only people you should meet and see with their wonderful service and smiling faces 😊

The owner was extremely friendly and readily accommodated our specific requests for lamb and fish, and suggested menus from starters to main dishes. There was a good variety of wine as well.
