Food was okay and tasty, but I expected a little more for the prices quoted. You can certainly find better value for money somewhere else.

The Anfora Restaurant really disappointed us. We were a group of 20 people, including 5 children, and ordered 4 grill plates. When the bill came, I was stunned: €1300! For what we got, it was just outrageously expensive. Even when it came to drinks, we only had water and 5 soft drinks - so nothing that would justify that price. The griddle was okay, but by no means outstanding, and definitely not worth the money. The service was friendly, but that couldn't save the experience. The price-performance ratio in this restaurant is absolutely not right. Here you feel ripped off and not treated as a valued guest. I therefore cannot recommend the Anfora Restaurant.

Recently I visited the Turkish restaurant Anfora and was very satisfied with my experience. As soon as you enter, you can feel the warm and hospitable atmosphere, reminiscent of the cozy streets of Istanbul. The interior is designed in a traditional style with bright colors and ornaments, which immediately immerses you in the Turkish atmosphere. The menu offers a wide selection of Turkish cuisine dishes, and each of them impresses with its richness of taste and aromas. I tried several appetizers, including hummus and dolma, and all were fresh and delicious. Hello, this is the amazing Turkish Restaurant we encountered during the 2024 Drupa Fair between 30 May - 2 June. The service was great, the food was incredibly delicious, there was also a lady playing the qanun and a gentleman accompanying her by playing the keyboard. We really had a great time, we had dinner there two dinners in a row. A wonderful place, I recommend it.

It was a place we found by chance on the map while looking for a Turkish restaurant during our trip to Düsseldorf. While thinking of eating grilled chicken, we listened to the owner's suggestion (he said you can't find this in Turkey) and ate grilled sea bass, it was great with the side dishes. Arugula salad and creamy kunefe and tea afterwards. Everything was perfect.

Went there for dinner for the second time at the weekend. In contrast to the first visit (it was a while ago), I found the portion (sliced ​​saddle of lamb) to be much smaller and therefore the price-performance ratio was no longer balanced. But the taste was very good. The Aperol Spritz for 9€ was served absolutely carelessly and tasted mediocre and therefore way too expensive. The staff was friendly and accommodating

Excellent. We had cold and warm starters, followed by a mix of different main courses to share. Everything was top notch... Actually everything was great, I especially remember the hummus and the tender meat. But also the delicious baklava and the really FANTASTIC wine!

!!!NEVER AGAIN!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! While visiting Switzerland in Düsseldorf on April 19th, 2024, we ate at the Anfora restaurant and had a very bad experience, which I have never experienced in any Turkish restaurant, nor in any kebab shop in Germany experienced something like that in Turkey and certainly not in Switzerland. UNFORTUNATELY you rely on the comments of the review and the awarding of points! Which doesn't correspond to reality at all! Firstly, the staff (I think even the restaurant owner himself) rushed us to order as quickly as possible! They seemed very worried and this behavior had a rude nature to it, which unsettled you and immediately made you feel uncomfortable. The food came STRANGLY quickly after 10 minutes. The pan of my meal was "hot" but the food was very cold, which immediately made me realize that the food had been sitting for a very long time and was NOT a FRESH meal being served! Likewise, the second meal was also an “OLD” NOT FRESH meal! I am of the opinion that Anfora should rather continue their "Raki table" and NOT serve food! Unfortunately, we also got sick from this OLD food! Stomach and abdominal problems! The portions of the meals were also really a joke!!! It's a real shame and I actually intentionally didn't pay a tip and since we got there very tired from a long journey, we didn't have the strength to complain and start a discussion. Acik acik söyliyorum, Helal etmiyorum mekaninizda harcadiyim parayi size! That's why you don't deserve a single star from us! The star is only there so that I can post my comment, unfortunately!!!

Food quality is good , but the quantity does not reflect the price at all . The staff provided us a dish ( mix grill ) for 35 euros and it was not mentioned in the menu, once we had it I was shocked by the quantity knowing that i ate double the quantity in dusseldorf Oberhausen for 20 euros .

The service from Mr. Özkan and the waiter Musa was outstanding. Your attention and kindness made our visit special. I can only warmly recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit 👍🏼

The quality of the starters was ok, but nothing more. The main courses were too small in portion size and of average quality. The price level is clearly too high. The restaurant is not recommended.

It was a nice evening, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. The food gets 3 stars with one star deducted because the portion was too small and way too expensive for what was served. The service was okay, although some things seemed rather unprofessional. Unfortunately there won't be a second visit for us.

With great anticipation of good meat, I reserved a table for three people. Unfortunately, the service is unprofessional and has enormous deficiencies in the German language. We were recommended a grill plate for three people (€120). There were also three rice balls the size of tennis balls on the edge of the grill plate and hard vegetables underneath the heavily grilled meat. it was so dry that I was ashamed of my invitation. The waiter responded to the complaint with the statement; “We always do it like that”! The price-performance ratio is “not” given here. On the first page of the menu I found this quote. I think that with such miserable quality, the poet will turn in his grave!

I had the pleasure of visiting this charming restaurant last night and I absolutely loved it. The ambience was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was simply fantastic - every dish was freshly prepared. The service (Mr. Zeynel) was also excellent; he was friendly, attentive and made us feel comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I look forward to returning soon!

A systematic attempt is made here to take action against the bad reviews. The bad reviews are reported to Google with the reason: "This person has never been with us, it is a fake review".
