We have been regular guests at Thai Smile for about 2 years and after each visit we are super happy, extremely full and feel well served. The freshness of the food and the quality of the ingredients are really very good. It's hard to beat the taste ;-) - it tastes just like in Thailand. Thank you very much and keep it up... The Oraya restaurant in Aachen undoubtedly deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The dish we ordered, Gäng Khiao Waan, was extremely tasty and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very inviting and cozy, ideal for a relaxing evening. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes your stay a completely successful experience. Highly Recommended!

We have been to this Thai restaurant several times and each time we have been treated poorly. On our first visit we were kicked out because friends of the owners came and they just wanted to take our place. Absolutely outrageous! The following visits were no better: once I found a fly in the soy sauce, the other time a hair in the food. When I showed the hair to the employee, she simply took it away and claimed it was from an onion. The owner even said they buy the vegetables from Aldi - I still don't understand what that has to do with hygiene. The owners are consistently unfriendly and barely speak any German, which makes it even more difficult to talk to them about these issues. Every time it was a disaster - poor hygiene and even worse service. Absolutely not recommended!

Etwas unscheinbar im Kellergeschoss gelegen macht der Anbieter auf den ertsen Blick nicht unbedingt den besten Eindruck. Das Ambiente dürfte durchaus überarbeitet werden. Wenn man sich aber entscheidet hier zu essen wird man nicht enttäuscht. Die Gerichte sind geschmacklich hervorragend, die Zutaten frisch und alles wird schnell zubereitet. Noch dazu sind die Mitarbeiter überaus freundlich.

I recently visited the Thai restaurant and had an overall positive experience. I particularly liked the ambience in the front dining area. You could look directly into the open kitchen through a large pane of glass, which created a lively atmosphere. There was also relaxed music playing, which relaxed the whole thing pleasantly. The food was prepared quickly and I really liked the taste. However, as someone who likes spicy food, I found it a bit disappointing that the dishes described as "very spicy" actually had a mild European spice. Nevertheless, the flavors were wonderfully balanced. Price-performance ratio was also good. A small negative point: Unfortunately, payment by card was not possible. Overall, a recommended restaurant for delicious Thai dishes and a relaxed atmosphere!

We got food there shortly after it opened. It was mega back then. Today we had been looking forward to this meal all day after a 700km drive. Unfortunately it was a disaster. We had ordered beef for the curry, but after we contacted us by phone that the collection would be delayed, we were told that beef was only enough for the other dish and suggested duck for the curry. Was ok. When we unpacked the dishes here and wanted to eat them at home, it was disastrous. The beef fried rice was not fried and the beef was tasteless undercooked mince. It tasted awful. The curry with the mixed duck was so over-spiced with chopped chilli peppers that we couldn't eat it. The baked wontons were ok except that honey was added to them. All in all. Original Thai cuisine is different. I've been there on vacation several times and I can cook it myself, but that's just a joke. Sorry.

Jedes kleine Detail der Räumlichkeiten erweckt den Anschein man wäre in Thailand. Abgesehen von dem wundervollen Interieur lädt aber auch die Terrasse dazu ein sich zu entspannen und das wirklich göttliche Essen zu genießen. Grade mit mehreren Personen lohnt sich ein Besuch um die kulinarische Vielfalt Thailands, die hier sehr gut repräsentiert wird, erleben zu können.
