Amazing rice, would recommend if you are decently hungry

Delicious, spicy food. You have to pay in cash, and they don't give you an option. In fact, there's a sign that says "cash payment is not possible today," and it seems like it happens every day. We only had a card, and we found out when we ate. We had to go out to get money. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I really enjoyed most of the food at this restaurant. The claypot rice was tasty, although the plain rice on the side was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the service left me with a very bad impression. On my second visit, I was refused a table even though another customer was seated just moments before me, and there was still a full hour left before closing time. What makes things worse is the inconsistent treatment of customers. Some guests are only allowed to pay in cash, while others are offered the option to pay by card. This kind of unequal service really ruins what could otherwise be a great dining experience.

Good food for the price, but I not as good as other restaurants.

Great flavours and great, fast service by waitresses and kitchen, even when it was busy. I had a spicy dish (forgot the name, sorry) and it had a good level of spice to notice it, but doesn't linger on the tongue, so you won't break out a sweat and will be enjoying all that is going on. Highly recommended👍👍

The interior looks cute and food is decent and reasonably priced. When I went there, the restaurant was busy but the food came surprisingly quickly. I just wish they accept card payments. The cash machine they sent me to charged €5 just to take out €20 for them…

If you like Thai-Viet cuisine, you can’t go wrong with this place. Anything on the menu is always delicious, generously served and gentle on the pocket. Try any of the homemade lemonades and house recommendations!

The portions and prices are good for this touristic area. While two of the staff members were very friendly, one was extremely grumpy and served us with quite a rude attitude. Also, this was the only restaurant where Hefeweizen was served without the proper glass. When I asked, they brought a regular glass instead—which feels quite wrong in Germany..

Do NOT go here: The food was terrible the waitress was insanely rude. Ridiculous amount of attitude from the moment we got there & they don’t take card under 35 euros

Visited early on a Saturday night and was immediately seated, although I would advise reserving a table as it filled up quickly. Service was brisk and efficient. The food was very nice, not gourmet but kind of comforting and freshly cooked. I think in terms of value for money it is exceptional, 28 Euros for two mains, a starter, a beer and a soft drink. Generous portion sizes, you won't go hungry. The toilets were a bit ropey and could do with renovation. I was torn between giving a 4 or 5 star review as the food was very good but not great, but just for value for money, ambience, location and the fact that I am already planning to go back there, it gets a 5!

Super good dishes and very reasonable prices. However, air conditioning or fans would be nice in these scorching temperatures.

I ordered two curries. Both were delicious but also very oily. The soup had a thick layer of oil on it.

We came in during our visit to Koln for our friend’s birthday dinner. We had a fantastic meal with beers, apps, and dinners for a great price. Service was also stellar. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is pretty, clean, the staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and quick. The price is also quite ok, the restaurant is also near the center, the food is delicious but the service is a bit too fast, like before finishing the appetizer, the main course is served, so the table is crowded. The next time I came back to buy take-out, the restaurant did not give me chopsticks, huhu, when I got back to the hotel, I found out, oh my gosh.

The taste is a bit too strong like the sauce.

As a tour manager, I can say that we're always looking for—of course—delicious food, and that we order from someone who understands us. That means, with a crew of around 30 people, and everyone ordering something different, it's important that the food boxes are labeled with their names. I ordered chicken noodles, the simplest option on the menu, and the dish they served me was quite spicy. I tried to explain to the waitress that I hadn't ordered anything spicy, but she insisted that it was just that. I told her that other dishes on the menu indicate when they're spicy, but in this case, it wasn't. In the end, she couldn't understand what I was saying, and I had to eat the dish like that.

The food was good. However, instead of returning a €0.50 coin, the cashier gave me a €0.05 coin. As a foreigner, I didn’t notice the difference right away, but I did feel that the coin seemed unusual. I’ve checked and this is the only €0.05 coin I have, so I’m certain it came from this restaurant. Adding review after restaurant commented I stand by what I wrote. We visited on July 14 around 7:30 p.m. (photo timestamp). I was supposed to receive €0.50 in change but was handed a wet €0.05 coin by an Asian male cashier. I normally paid by card and only had €1 and €2 coins for public WC, so I’m certain it came from this transaction. Be sure to double-check your change from this restaurant.

The decor is also very nice. The only downside is that you can only pay by card for €35, but otherwise, it's a nice place.

Great place for Thai food. I accidentally found it while riding a tourist train. The dishes were sufficiently seasoned. The service was also quick and efficient. And the prices are definitely not too high. Definitely recommended if you're looking for Thai food in Cologne.

We ordered several dishes, both starters and main courses. Everything tasted excellent and the wait for the food was a maximum of 5 minutes. Recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely. I couldn’t decide what to order, and a sweet girl recommended the Pad Thai and Tom Yum — both were incredibly tasty. My husband had the Kom Niew, which was also super delicious, and my friend had the Pho… everything was insanely good! I recommend 🌸

The food was delicious, but it was more of a snack bar. Unfortunately, the restrooms were dirty.

1. I ate Pad Thai and Vietnamese rice noodles, but don't expect Korean flavors. Pad Thai had a strong ketchup flavor, and cilantro is added to the rice noodles by default. If you don't like it, ask them to leave it out. And it was salty. 2. Neither of them are deep, but they are filling. 3. I didn't have any cash, but they said they only accept cash, so I had to withdraw money from the ATM and ended up paying a 10% fee. // They wrote 'Cards not accepted today' on the counter, so I guess they don't accept it every day. Haha. 4. I have no intention of coming back.

Stunning food..quick service..so much flavour it almost hurt :-).. I'd eat here every week if I lived in Köln..an absolute joy. Paid cash..make sure you have some.

Fast service and delicious food!

Three of us were there on June 1, 2025. We enjoyed the food and the value for money was excellent. The service was friendly and quick, even though the restaurant was full. Deducted two stars because card payments—neither debit nor Visa—weren't possible. What century are we living in that only cash is accepted?

Typically german restaurant mind set. They don't accept card payment (in 2025) and does not give water for free we have to pay for it. It just too complicated we are already there to buy food , and we are asking for water , WATER!! How many bussines they are losing with those that have only card and not cash and the bad experience by not given water WATER

We ate number V11 for 13.50 euro and it wasn’t worth the money.. The beef in the green leaf was so dry and the roll was so small. Tofu was also dry and the chicken had a weird sour taste. I hope we don’t get a stomach infection later. The service was bad. She didn’t smile once and was so uninterested. They also didn’t take cash as payment, and when I asked for the receipt the cashier was not happy. This restaurant is maybe good enough for non Asians, but Asians people would not approve. The food was really not worth the money!

Great food, made with fresh ingredients. It was busy enough on Saturday evening, but everything was brought up to the table very quickly. The service should be more friendly. Also, the toilet was dirty and smelly.

Why does the owner keep saying that they have a sign says "card only above x"? There was no sign and when this was pointed out to the server, they said "it's in the entrance". I said show me and there was no sign!!! The server then said "sorry, you need to talk to the chef but the chef is busy." Such nonsense and then to lie about it on Google is ridiculous. Mediocre food is tolerable but dishonesty is unnecessary

Unfortunately, it was a very poor dining experience. The restaurant insisted on cash payments only. Before dining, they said the minimum credit card payment was €15, but after dining, they changed it to €30. We did not reach €30, so they refused our credit card payment and demanded a PayPal transfer. PayPal has a delay in processing payments, so the restaurant was concerned that we would default on the payment and insisted on taking a photo of our ID. Their attitude was very rude and unacceptable.

Really delicious food. I've travelled a lot in Southeast Asia, and really enjoyed eating here. The veg spring roll starters were crisp and hot, and the curries full of.complex flavours. Really recommend!

I was here on a school trip with my friends, and we stumbled upon this place. The service is super friendly and the food is delicious, especially for the price. The atmosphere is nice, too. My only criticism is the restrooms, which are a bit small, but if you don't plan on staying there for long, it should be fine.

The Satan skewers were fried in oil for far too long, making them too tough and chewy, like a shoe. The Pad Thai tomato sauce had a strong rusty, irony aftertaste, suggesting the tomatoes had been kept in the can for far too long and weren't even transferred to a different container. Not recommended!

My first Thai food experience and it was a great one.

My favorite restaurant for years. Even though I don't live in Cologne, I sometimes drive there especially for this restaurant. The food is always delicious; I've never had a dish here that I didn't like. The curry dishes and fried noodles are particularly delicious.

I’ll start with one negative point. The cash only.. in 2024 it shouldn’t be a thing anymore honestly. As a tourist for example. You don’t always walk around with cash. I don’t, especially not in countries were they use the same money.. Lucky for them, there’s an atm not that far (like back and forth 10 minutes +-). I was actually this close to skip the restaurant just because of that. But because we saw an atm not too far we decided to go back (had just arrived in Cologne, I didn’t want to keep searching after food lol). For the rest, service was okay, food was okay, portions were defenitely okay, we received the food quiet fast and it was good. My husband really enjoyed it.
