Very tasty bowls and very friendly service!

I came to this hamburg city a visit. This is the best sushi in this city. I really enjoyed eating it and the people who work here are very friendly. They are very good. I would highly recommend you all to come here and eat here.

Ordered sushi there for the first time today. The delivery was very quick and the delivery person was very friendly. 👍 The sushi rice tasted good. Unfortunately, I was hoping that the gyoza would be steamed. Instead they were fried. But they were still hot upon arrival 👍 Unfortunately, the salmon (nigiri + maki) tasted very watery. Also the flambéed salmon. This indicates either poor quality or a poor method of defrosting.

I rated this store 5 stars over a year ago. Since you don't have the opportunity to leave a second review, I'm editing my first review and would prefer to rate this shop with 100 stars and recommend Semester Sushi to EVERYONE! We have been regular customers for over a year and are always surprised at how fast and friendly the employees are. The quality of sushi is absolutely top notch. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Thank you for always delivering to us in a friendly and timely manner, despite the huge construction site in front of our house. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Merci

Danger! No shop, no sushi here. It's just the office

I was very disappointed today. I regularly grab lunch from the lunch table for 2 people. Today the portion wasn't enough to fill me up. Mini portion for €13.50 It's a shame, the quality is good, but not good value for money.

An institution in the Alster Valley for ages, the best sushi in Hamburg is served here!! A well-rehearsed team for ages, great creative creations, fresh, high-quality raw materials, perfectly rolled. It couldn't be better! It's just a shame that they don't deliver anymore, as we were able to enjoy the sushi much more often back then.

Moin Folks, seit der Eröffnung tauchen wir hier auf, mal mehr und oftmals leider auch weniger, dennoch ist das hier ein optischer Genusstempel zum guten verweilen. Das Auge isst mit und hier wird dem Auge zu unterschiedlichen Tageszeiten sehr viel geboten👍🤩👍🤩👍🤩👍 Es wird Zeit das wir es in unsere Futter-Routine mit einbauen, sehr geil hier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There is still room for improvement in terms of food, service and ambience. We relied on some of the other reviews to get very good sushi here. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. It was OK. .... Point!

My favorite sushi for 15 years! 🍱😋

The restaurant is directly accessible from Alsterhaus. Since it's on the top floor, you had a relatively nice view, but you can't (or can't) look at the Elbe, at least from inside. The staff was friendly and you could watch the sushi being prepared. The meat tasted delicious and the sushi was also remarkably good. The tempura vegetables were quite ok. Although it is very expensive, it was somewhat justified by the quality of the food. In the evening the atmosphere could be even more pleasant.

Unfortunately there was apparently something rotten in the summer rolls. When I first took a bite it started to smell and the taste was very sour and bitter. Why there is rice in the rolls at all remains another question... I have no idea what it was, but that was the last order here.
