Yesterday, I ordered vegan rice with tofu at the restaurant. I planned to eat it at home, but after just a few spoonfuls, it was incredibly bitter and tasted chemically of soap and other strange cleaning products. I called the restaurant immediately. They identified me as a regular customer based on my phone number. They assured me there was nothing wrong with the rice. By that point, my tongue already felt burnt, and my sense of taste was dwindling. The acrid taste lingered for a while. They suggested I bring the rice back the following day during normal opening hours to get a fresh batch, as the owner or manager wanted to try it himself. I packed everything for the next day and showed up at the restaurant after 5 p.m. The restaurant was closed. Are they serious? It was a suggestion from the restaurant. I follow their advice and get stood up? There's no indication anywhere that they're closed today (Tuesday), and no one answered the phone. I have to say, after this incident, you've lost a good regular customer, and I can no longer recommend you to my family, who also order from there regularly. I'm furious; I paid €10 and haven't received a refund. By the way, the rice is still hanging pre-packaged on your door, because I honored my part of the agreement you made, unlike you. The food there was always good, which is why I'm so shocked by your handling of this new negative experience. It's understandable that something might go wrong in the kitchen unnoticed. But to react like this? I find that questionable.

I always love coming to Kokoro Asia & Sushi in person and am always thrilled! The food is incredibly delicious, and you can taste that they always use fresh ingredients. My favorite order is the Crunchy King Box (30 pieces) – it's always a highlight and simply perfect for a great sushi night. The teriyaki sauce isn't always the same; right now, during the winter (Christmas season), it has a subtle hint of cinnamon. Absolutely delicious, thank you for the explosion of flavor! The service is always friendly, and I really appreciate the helpful and helpful advice. You immediately feel comfortable here. The ambiance is also welcoming and nicely designed, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Since I'm not a fan of delivery services like Lieferando, Wolt, or Uber Eats, I prefer to order my food directly and in person at the restaurant. It always works perfectly. Here's another review after years of loyalty. In Hamburg, there's nothing better than their Crunchy King 217 sushi box. Whether it's one, two, or even three, we're always in. But just try it for yourselves; you won't be disappointed.

My personal insider tip. Very friendly owner, good food, fair prices, and you can usually get a table quickly. One star deducted for the ambiance because I missed having some background music last time.

A truly excellent, diverse Asian menu. Because the portions are enormous, this is probably one of the restaurants with the best value for money in Hamburg. The baked chicken was perfect, juicy, and crispy. The butter chicken was very well prepared and delicious. If you're not put off by the somewhat outdated menus, this is a great place to eat.

I was passing by by chance. But somehow it caught my eye, so I went in. I was immediately pleasantly surprised to find such a cozy restaurant on Wandsbeker Chaussee. An incredibly friendly host welcomed me warmly and gave me excellent advice. And then my curiosity was rewarded with some sensational sushi. Truly incredible value for money, too. The sushi was made with the freshest ingredients and wasn't 80% rice like in some sushi places. I also got some teriyaki beef, and that was really, really good. Whether you order it in or just go to the restaurant, it's worth it.

We had a lovely evening with great food (tasty, adapted to dietary needs, ingredients explained) and a kind host, who served with dedication and a smile. Try no.33 as your dessert - it is well worth the wait. The mango lassi tastes different here, a lot better than many more expensive restaurants. If you cannot decide, which dish sounds best, look at the picture book menu. The dish you get served looks just like the picture! We will be back soon!

Our search for a restaurant brought us to Kokoro. We received a very warm welcome and were given advice on the various dishes. We each chose starters and a main course. A free starter was also included. Everything was prepared with great care and tasted fantastic. A great emphasis is placed on authentic and healthy cuisine, which is clearly reflected in the taste. We have rarely eaten so well and will definitely visit this restaurant if we ever find ourselves in Hamburg again. We definitely recommend it!

This is just my favorite place to go for the comfort healthy and delicious food! I can recommend so many things, noodles, starters, but my favorite is the salmon bowl! I have tried salmon bowls everywhere in Hamburg and beyond and I couldn’t find the better one!! It is always fresh, healthy and delicious. Thank you incredible chefs for your work! ❤️❤️❤️

Such a dear shop owner, we were there spontaneously and received great explanations and recommendations. The food was very fresh and so neatly prepared. Our pleasant conversation was interrupted when he recognized a lady at the window and waved her in. She was at his place last week with a friend who left her jacket hanging and he noticed it. I found that very attentive, as a guest there you are seen with your heart.

Today I had a piece of sponge including METAL WIRE in the food that was delivered. The piece had absorbed the color of the peanut sauce, so I almost didn't see it. Luckily I put it aside because the consistency looked weird. Then I rinsed it with water and the yellow paint and the wire came out. There are things that can happen - this is definitely not one of them! I can then really do without a new delivery.

Went there spontaneously yesterday. We were there very early in the evening, so we had to wait a little while to be served, but from then on everything was incredibly good. Friendly people, very good service, the boss takes care and cooks with passion, delicious food and very plentiful. I haven't been so positively surprised in a restaurant for a long time. We would be happy to come back the next time we visit Hamburg. Following a conversation with the boss, we will then ask him for recommendations beyond the standard menu. Are excited to try more of his home cuisine. Thank you again.

I was finally able to order here again. Once again super tasty and visually simply beautiful! Sushi marked “vegan”, meaning no contact with animal products in terms of knife/mat/preparation. It's really a matter of trust and it works here. The sushi is reasonably filled, you don't have to look for anything. The avocado in the sushi is nice and ripe/soft. Everything is consistent! It's also nice that the dear driver is still there!

I ordered delivery, the food came quickly and hot, everything was super tasty and large portions! I can recommend the fried rice and the mango salad.

From the outside the store seemed relatively small, but when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised. The ceiling and decoration as well as the tables are very beautiful. It's very nice and cozy. Food ordered and not delivered. Called 4 times but no one answers the phone. There was also no response to 6 messages sent to the restaurant about the delivery service. Absolute rubbish if you wait 1.5 hours, can't order anywhere anymore or have to wait another hour for a new order.

It looks like any other snack bar from the outside, but the quality of the food is impressive, everything is freshly and authentically prepared. The interior is also cozy and the service is good. We had sushi as a starter and Thai spicy beef and chicken in peanut sauce. Definitely recommended.
