For the first time today, I didn't order but ate there. The ambience is absolutely great, the service!!!! Really looking for its equal. And the food is even better on site than delivered, hard to believe but it's really still possible. Definitely the No.1 Kassel. 🫶🏻

Very tasty tender beef and tender duck with curry sauce (2 portions) to take away. Quantity was enough for 2 meals, super tasty, absolutely more than standard!

We have been ordering our sushi there for some time now (pickup only). It's definitely one of the best around. Last weekend we went out to eat there for the first time in a group of 6 people. You definitely have to emphasize that from the outside you can hardly see where you have to go. It is in the building “zu alten Post”. So from the outside you could identify the restaurant more obviously. Well, yes. Inside it is comfortably furnished with modern furniture. However, after a while you notice that with 6 people it gets a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the food (as usual) was first class! Homemade lemonades are also recommended. Conclusion: once you find the restaurant, you will be treated to really good food.

This was my first time ordering from Gan-Mi. The prices are really great! The ingredients were very fresh and delicious (e.g. the avocado or the spicy salmon). Unfortunately, the rice was extremely soft, which meant that the ingredients didn't mix well in the mouth (the nori sheets also drew a lot of water out of the rice and became soft and tough). The rice also didn't taste soured/sweetened, which I found very unfortunate. I ordered to be picked up. I didn't find it very comfortable on site but it was okay (hence 3 stars for ambience). The order was ready very quickly. Since the price and other ingredients were good, I would order again in the hope that the rice would be better :)

The best sushi I've ever had! The food is simply incredibly delicious, and the homemade drinks are something very special. Added to this is the cozy atmosphere - you immediately feel comfortable and can really enjoy the food. A real highlight, simply great! Just a few more parking options would be nice :-)

So wow. Where should I even start? This was one of, if not the, nicest restaurant visit I have ever had. (If you can even call it a restaurant) The place is really small with 8 seats, so reservations are required, but I put this experience above any fine dining restaurant I've ever been to. You come into the restaurant from the Reeperbahn and you immediately find yourself in a different world. The sushi chef and the service are incredibly warm. The boss comes to you, asks about your preferences, tells you about his work and you notice that this shop radiates authenticity and true craftsmanship. I've never eaten sushi like this before. It is simple, authentic Japanese sushi because the sushi chef completed 10 years of training in Tokyo and you can tell with every bite how incredible effort was put into this food. From fish to rice. Everything was magnificent. This is not your typical restaurant visit. This is a pleasure. What made this experience truly unique was the way the waitress treated the guests as described above. I've simply never been able to experience something like that in Germany. It was perfect, every expectation was exceeded, I wish the team all the best and I'll be back. Best regards

We were guests for dinner on a holiday. The food and drinks were very tasty and nice to look at, the service was very friendly. The order was received and processed quickly, even despite the higher workload. Due to the higher occupancy, we were seated at a small table in a corner. Unfortunately, we discovered that there was a lack of feather duster inserts. The wall decorated with artificial flowers was full of cobwebs. (See photos) The intensity and accuracy of the cleaning of the guest room should urgently be revised!
