Ich war seit langem mal wieder hier u wurde was Sushi angeht nicht enttäuscht, wirklich lecker, Service super u keine langen Wartezeiten,aber Leute fangt an zu putzen! Es war nicht sauber, die Vitrine an der Bar klebrig u verschmiert, der Boden klebte genauso wie die Tische. Von den Toiletten will ich gar nicht anfangen. Sauberkeit u Hygiene gehören einfach zu einem guten Restaurant dazu. Das Ambiente ist wirklich cool, aber es wirkt auch nicht einladend. Ihr könntet die Tische eindecken u auch draußen müsste einiges gemacht werden,so wirkt es als hättet ihr geschlossen u das sind Dinge die kein großes Geld kosten u gleichzeitig das ganze Restaurant aufwerten. Man fragt sich dann halt schon, wenn so wenig Wert auf Sauberkeit in den Innenräumen gelegt wird,wie sieht es dann in der Küche aus.

Ich war rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und schön angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Kellnerin Elena, sie ist unglaublich sympathisch, aufmerksam und herzlich. Durch ihre freundliche Art habe ich mich vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So ein Service macht den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Das Sushi hier ist sehr lecker und frisch. Der Fisch ist von guter Qualität und der Reis schmeckt sehr gut. Auch der Service ist freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Habe dort 10 mal versucht anzurufen aber es geht jedesmal keiner dran an das Telefon, habe sogar Freunde gefragt ob sie anrufen können, ging niemand dran. Oder der Anruf wurde abgelehnt.

Die Bedienung war einfach top. Obwohl sehr viel los war, alle Tische waren belegt waren und sehr viel auch noch zur Abholung bereit stand und koordiniert werden musste, war die Bedienung die den ganzen Bereich des Service auffallend gut koordinierte, stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. So half sie uns auch ein wenig bei der Auswahl der Gerichte. Das Essen wurde gemessen an den sehr vielen Bestellungen, wegen Samstag, recht zügig gebracht und war insgesamt wirklich hervorragend, auch optisch. So konnten wir in entspannter Atmosphäre einen Genuss vollen Abend verbringen.

Wir sind wirklich enttäuscht. Heute warten wir seit 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen. Auf Nachfrage um 21 Uhr bekamen wir lediglich die knappe Antwort, dass es „zubereitet wird“. Mehr Information gab es nicht. Wir kommen seit drei Jahren an jedem Valentinstag hierher und waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden – so eine Situation haben wir hier noch nie erlebt. Natürlich kann es an einem besonderen Tag zu Verzögerungen kommen, dafür haben wir Verständnis. Was jedoch gar nicht geht, ist die fehlende Kommunikation. Es wäre absolut in Ordnung gewesen, zwischendurch aktiv Bescheid zu geben, dass es länger dauert, anstatt erst auf Nachfrage zu reagieren. Gerade an einem Abend wie Valentinstag erwartet man etwas Organisation und Transparenz. Schade – das sind wir von diesem Restaurant eigentlich nicht gewohnt.

Der Service ist mittlerweile reinste Katastrophe. Und selbst bei der Zubereitung wird sich wenig bis gar keine Mühe mehr gegeben.

Ich war jetzt kürzlich zweimal dort ! Sehr empfehlenswert !

Wir waren vor einiger Zeit dort essen gewesen und wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, angekommen im Fast leeren Restaurant wurden wir an einen Tisch gesetzt neben einer Gruppe von 6 Personen. Dieser kleine Tisch war so nah an der Gruppe dass wir fast sogar neben den saßen, dass war für uns sehr unangenehm, zumal wir reserviert hatten und wie betont dass Restaurant sonst leer war, doch auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein ruhiger Tisch angeboten. Das Essen war okay aber nichts besonderes. Die Bedienung war sehr nett aber es wurde mindestens 3 mal bei jedem Gericht gefragt ob denn alles Unordnung sei, versteht mich nicht falsch, ich finde dass gut wenn einem das Gäste Wohlbefinden wichtig ist aber 1–2 mal fragen hätte gereicht. Das ist nur mein empfinden aber ich möchte auch ungestört essen können. Das Ambiente war klein aber fein aber nochmal würden wir nicht hingehen.

I've ordered takeout from there twice already. The sushi and the tempura shrimp were both delicious. The staff went over my order with me both times to make sure everything was packed correctly and were very friendly. The interior is also very nicely decorated. I'll definitely be dining in again. I can absolutely recommend the food. I'd happily order again anytime.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Besides the very long wait, the prices were higher than advertised on the menu. A few dishes were also served differently than described. We expected more.

Yesterday was my first time at Kaia for sushi. From the outside, it wasn't inviting and looked like it wasn't even open. Inside, however, it was nicely decorated with very comfortable chairs. Unfortunately, the table was a bit dirty. The server wasn't very efficient and seemed annoyed. A smile wouldn't have been too much to ask in that line of work. The server who came to our table later was super friendly, quick, and attentive!! 😀 We finally felt welcome. We, and the other tables as well, had to wait an extremely long time for our food. When it finally arrived – it was delicious!! And highly recommended!

My wife and I were there yesterday. The food was very tasty! However, we waited about 85 minutes for our dishes. That's definitely too long, and the service seemed disorganized and at times overwhelmed. People who entered the restaurant significantly after us sometimes received their dishes before us. We're certainly not particularly critical guests, but we do see a clear need for improvement and won't be returning anytime soon.

A great Sushi resturant in the Alzey and in the neighbouring places. The plates are big and the prices are acceptable. The service is fast and the waiters are super friendly.

I think the flavor has really gone downhill. They've stopped using sauces on their sushi lately (except for the crunchy rolls), even though it's listed on the menu. I found it dry and blandly presented (we're used to Kaia). The service often seems very "shy." Also, the dry ice is missing—it was back for a short while, but it hasn't been available the last few times.

I love Asian food. But I don’t like slow service if I’m alone. One dish, make it and let me go to my hotel. Also, “Nur EC Karte”. Don’t want to pay credit card commissions looks like…

The food was okay, but if you're not familiar with sushi, you don't know what you're getting. The service was... well, in sweatpants, more focused on their phones than on the customer, which took some getting used to. The ambiance, just a dining room.

The curry is also delicious! Aside from the sushi, you should try the warm curry dishes during the colder months. We had duck and beef, and both were very tender and flavorful, and the curry had a perfect balance between sweet coconut and spicy notes. The ambiance and the dedicated and very polite service are also great.

Fresh, delicate, and simply delicious! The sushi was of the highest quality, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. A true highlight for anyone who loves sushi; we'll definitely be back! 🍣✨🥢

So stelle ich mir einen Gastgeber vor: freundlich, kompetent und mit großem Weinwissen und Herz !!!! Wir hatten zur Vorspeise diverse Gerichte, die alle sehr lecker waren und die Pinsas danach waren auch von sehr guter Qualität...nicht einfach so 08/15 sondern schon mit Pfiff...... Unzählige Weine von versch. namhaften Winzern und mich hat es sehr gefreut, daß man hier weiß das wir in einer Weingegend wohnen und man nicht beim Wein, wie es ja mittlerweile üblich abgezockt wird. Alle Weine zu moderaten Preisen, da schmeckt dann auch jeder Schluck...... Der Service war sehr aufmerksam (na ja der Chef hat seine Augen ja überall), mußte aber die Speisen alle vom Zweitrestaurant rüber bringen. Sehr, sehr hoher Wiederholungsfaktor :)

10minutes to be seated in a empty restaurant and 10minutes for someone to take our order. We just gave up and left. Just go somewhere else, drive a bit, avoid this shitshow of a restaurant.

Kaia Alzey – A real treat! We visited Kaia for the first time on Sunday afternoon – luckily, it was quiet, so we were able to enjoy the wonderful ambiance in peace. The decor is modern and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. We ordered the Crunchy Rolls (C64), the house-made Kaia Rolls (K44), and the vegan curry with tofu – everything was excellent! The quality was absolutely in line with the price, and every dish impressed us with its taste. The service deserves special mention: The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Just what you'd expect! Conclusion: Great food, great ambiance, superb service – we'll definitely be back!

Yesterday I had dinner there with my family. Unfortunately we had to wait a whole hour for our drinks. After we kindly pointed this out to the staff, we got it on the house. We also waited an hour and a half for the food. The food was okay. After the empty plates had stood on our table for half an hour, our dessert arrived. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to the service staff to take the empty plates with them so that the next course could be eaten. Nevertheless, I have to emphasize that the staff was very friendly but unfortunately the professionalism was lacking.

First of all, I have to say that the service was very friendly and accommodating. But that was it. It all started with the 0.2L soft drinks, which already have a steep price and with which you can't really quench your thirst. We continued with the starter for just under €7, which was actually quite okay. However, the main course for €22 was the winner. For the price I had imagined a small selection of sushi with a few "rolls". In fact there were 4 rolls with salmon and 2 rolls with scampi with a lettuce leaf. In terms of taste, you couldn't tell any difference to the prepackaged ones in the supermarket. The best part of the evening was the hot chocolate cake for dessert.

I was there today to eat a fried rice bowl with a homemade lemonade and the chocolate cake for dessert. The food was more than just delicious. I will definitely go there again!

In any case, we were very satisfied. Very nice, courteous service. When we ordered a salmon bowl, it wasn't initially clear to us that the salmon was raw, my girlfriend doesn't eat raw fish, no problem for Kaia, the salmon was quickly fried and it was good. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food. But the tuna tartare that I had as a starter was also really tasty.

In my opinion, the food here was just about average, although that's putting it nicely. Apart from the fact that we had to wait 2 hours for the food (there were two of us) The taste of the burner wasn't great either because it tasted very old even though it was freshly made according to the employees. The only positive thing was the friendly service, even though I felt overwhelmed.

We ordered food to pick up and were treated to a really friendly wait on the phone. It was difficult to find the entrance on site, especially since the lettering on the windows was on the wrong side, meaning you read it the wrong way. When we entered the ambience it was very dark but the tables and chairs had a really nice design. When we picked it up, everything was explained again which dish had which number. When we got home we were disillusioned. Unfortunately for both of us it was just OK but not good food. There was sushi and noodles. The sushi rice was a bit lacking in taste; in my opinion it was just normal cooked rice. The noodles were very thick but there were more vegetables than noodles in the bowl. All in all, I think there is still room for improvement here and there, but for us the restaurant is not comparable to others with the same price range

My wife and I wanted to have a delicious Chinese meal after a long trip and chose Kaia based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. We ordered a beef curry as a main course and tempura shrimp as a starter for me and two different sushi for my wife. The tempura shrimp were great, but the curry was too runny for me and the only vegetables there were broccoli, carrots and zucchini. Not a single piece of pepper. When we asked why there were no peppers in it, we were told that some guests didn't like peppers. Well, I don't like broccoli or zucchini... I'm assuming it's because of the price of peppers and you only use cheap vegetables. My wife's sushi was supposed to have, among other things, salmon skin, which was also found in the sushi under a lot of cucumber. Sorry, but the price-performance ratio isn't right here at all. Even though we paid over 20 euros for the sushi, my wife wasn't even remotely full. We know things differently when it comes to sushi in good shops. Here too, the criticism was only moderately received. In addition, one had the impression that there was very little enthusiasm when serving. My wife was at the restaurant about 5-10 minutes early because I had dropped her off looking for a parking space and ordered drinks for us. The drinks came after I had already been in the restaurant for 5 minutes and the restaurant was only occupied with a total of 4 tables at that time. This just takes too long. All in all, we didn't agree with what was offered or the price. We won't come here anymore.

I love it here. Incredibly tasty and fresh and a great atmosphere. The girls are always very friendly and attentive. I really enjoy coming with family and friends and everyone loves it.

Food: the quantity was very good! The taste was very good! Service: The service was very friendly and accommodating. The only small mango was, the first round of drinks took a little longer. But that's complaining at a very high level... Ambiance: The space was very tidy. It looked very cozy and invited you to linger. Conclusion: We will come back & thank you very much!

We have been ordering our sushi there for some time now (pickup only). It's definitely one of the best around. Last weekend we went out to eat there for the first time in a group of 6 people. You definitely have to emphasize that from the outside you can hardly see where you have to go. It is in the building “zu alten Post”. So from the outside you could identify the restaurant more obviously. Well, yes. Inside it is comfortably furnished with modern furniture. However, after a while you notice that with 6 people it gets a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the food (as usual) was first class! Homemade lemonades are also recommended. Conclusion: once you find the restaurant, you will be treated to really good food.

Not immediately recognizable as an Asian restaurant from the outside, honestly nice, pleasant modern atmosphere from the inside, friendly service.. nice variety on the menu, fair prices... the service was friendly. Requests were taken into account. The food came quickly and in pleasant portions (starter plus main course). All the ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented and tasted very good. The service was attentive and asked several times whether everything was okay and whether anything was missing.

The selection of food and drinks is really good. The service was quick at the table and the drinks and food we ordered were brought to us within a short time. Special requests were also no problem. The sushi we ordered was delicious, freshly prepared and looked great, but unfortunately it was quite cold. It's a shame that it's only open until 9 p.m., so there's unfortunately little time after dinner to chat over a drink.

Our favorite restaurant when it comes to sushi. The quality is simply top and no matter what you order, it is always delicious and tastes so good. The employees are all very hard working and we feel completely at home here. Keep it up.

The sushi here is outstanding! When you enter the old building you don't expect the modern black, white and pink interior: very pleasant surprise. Modern minimal music is played, too loud for my taste. Service is friendly but not very attentive. My wife and I are big sushi fans and THAT is really delicious here. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. I ordered two starters (spring rolls and fried gyoza) and Chef's Surprise as my main course. Everything is very good. The food has a very good texture and you can feel the freshness of the ingredients.

The sushi price-performance ratio is right. Yes, there was a 20 minute wait to pick it up on the first day, but who cares when everything about the food is great. Especially the tempura shrimp and the tuna are highly recommended! Today we were there again after almost two years. With gourmet block. Everything went great and even though we had children with us, everyone was friendly. The food was GREAT. By far the best sushi we've ever had. We had the curry with rice, the udon noodles with chicken and 2x breaded sushi. The curry could be served with a little more rice, but that's complaining at a high level. The udon noodles with the teriyaki sauce were the best noodles we have ever eaten. The breaded sushi is simply awesome with the sauce and soy sauce. The children devoured the patrons' seats for dessert. The kids liked the chocolate lava cake and the mango ice cream best. I really liked the sesame balls and the baked banana. The vanilla and coconut mochi was also very interesting! Absolute recommendation!! What we particularly like is the beautiful cherry blossom tree as decoration. And it's the first time we can say it's extremely comfortable there. You feel like you're on a good sofa. Rarely have I sat so well in a restaurant. It was also relatively full and a lot of food was picked up. Keep it up! Top notch!

The food itself is delicious but the wait takes a long time

The soup as a starter was okay, but much too expensive for the price advertised. The sushi we ordered was very good. The “warm” dish, however, tasted quite “artificial” and wasn’t exactly hot. The vegetables and noodles were completely overcooked without any bite. Probably just served warmed. The portion of meat in this dish was also more than meager. Behind the counter, the sushi master put the dishes together in an even dimmer light than at the tables. We asked ourselves: how does he recognize the ingredients or if something is wrong??? The ambience: A drafty glass entrance door that was open for every new guest. You had to consciously squeeze them shut. With bad luck, both wings were open. I did the closing from time to time. If you're already sitting in the front area... Most of the guests sat in their jackets. Just because this circumstance has been going on for a long time, I assume that the "operator" doesn't care how comfortable you feel in his restaurant. The light above the tables was rather dim, like in a bar. The benches were too low, it really wasn't comfortable to sit on. The service: When we visited it consisted of two young ladies who were trying hard. Little anecdote; When asked about the cold in the room, she went to the back area to the artificial tree, held her finger in the air, came back and said; It's not much warmer back there either. You can laugh about it afterwards. If you experience it, probably not. There won't be a repeat any time soon. At best in summer. In winter I tend to eat less sushi and next time I wouldn't pay for the warm dish. So if in doubt, maybe we'll pick up food. But definitely only sushi. All in all, rather mixed. It may be that the younger audience is happy with it. But anyone who has eaten in other restaurants will view the whole thing a little more critically.

As always, the food was delicious, but we waited a long time. Like everywhere else, it's probably due to the lack of staff, but that didn't hurt the lovely evening. So take your time and a good mood with you.

The best shop in Alzey. Very good sushi always prepared with love and care. Whether to take away or eat there, it's always ready quickly. Ambience is beautiful and modern. Can only recommend it.

In Ordnung. Die Toiletten waren sauber und es gab auch neben dem Spülbecken einige nützliche Utensilien, bspw. Ein Deo- süße Idee. Vor Ort sitzt es sich ganz nett, auf jeden Fall optisch ein Hingucker. Nun zu dem Essen: leider jedes mal sehr lange Wartezeit, da wird man nochmal deutlich hungriger, und das Essen leider überteuert für das was man bekommt, der Salat z.B. ist ohne Soße, aber die Tempurarollen sind ganz lecker! Die Musik ist definitiv auch nicht jedermanns Sache. Ingesamt empfehlenswert in Alzey dort Essen zu gehen, jedoch sehe ich noch Luft nach oben.
