I was there today to eat a fried rice bowl with a homemade lemonade and the chocolate cake for dessert. The food was more than just delicious. I will definitely go there again!

Waiting 2 hours for some sushi. Really not worth it

In any case, we were very satisfied. Very nice, courteous service. When we ordered a salmon bowl, it wasn't initially clear to us that the salmon was raw, my girlfriend doesn't eat raw fish, no problem for Kaia, the salmon was quickly fried and it was good. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food. But the tuna tartare that I had as a starter was also really tasty.

In my opinion, the food here was just about average, although that's putting it nicely. Apart from the fact that we had to wait 2 hours for the food (there were two of us) The taste of the burner wasn't great either because it tasted very old even though it was freshly made according to the employees. The only positive thing was the friendly service, even though I felt overwhelmed.

We ordered food to pick up and were treated to a really friendly wait on the phone. It was difficult to find the entrance on site, especially since the lettering on the windows was on the wrong side, meaning you read it the wrong way. When we entered the ambience it was very dark but the tables and chairs had a really nice design. When we picked it up, everything was explained again which dish had which number. When we got home we were disillusioned. Unfortunately for both of us it was just OK but not good food. There was sushi and noodles. The sushi rice was a bit lacking in taste; in my opinion it was just normal cooked rice. The noodles were very thick but there were more vegetables than noodles in the bowl. All in all, I think there is still room for improvement here and there, but for us the restaurant is not comparable to others with the same price range

My wife and I wanted to have a delicious Chinese meal after a long trip and chose Kaia based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. We ordered a beef curry as a main course and tempura shrimp as a starter for me and two different sushi for my wife. The tempura shrimp were great, but the curry was too runny for me and the only vegetables there were broccoli, carrots and zucchini. Not a single piece of pepper. When we asked why there were no peppers in it, we were told that some guests didn't like peppers. Well, I don't like broccoli or zucchini... I'm assuming it's because of the price of peppers and you only use cheap vegetables. My wife's sushi was supposed to have, among other things, salmon skin, which was also found in the sushi under a lot of cucumber. Sorry, but the price-performance ratio isn't right here at all. Even though we paid over 20 euros for the sushi, my wife wasn't even remotely full. We know things differently when it comes to sushi in good shops. Here too, the criticism was only moderately received. In addition, one had the impression that there was very little enthusiasm when serving. My wife was at the restaurant about 5-10 minutes early because I had dropped her off looking for a parking space and ordered drinks for us. The drinks came after I had already been in the restaurant for 5 minutes and the restaurant was only occupied with a total of 4 tables at that time. This just takes too long. All in all, we didn't agree with what was offered or the price. We won't come here anymore.

I love it here. Incredibly tasty and fresh and a great atmosphere. The girls are always very friendly and attentive. I really enjoy coming with family and friends and everyone loves it.

But that's complaining at a very high level... Ambiance: The space was very tidy. It looked very cozy and invited you to linger. Conclusion: We will come back & thank you very much!

We have been ordering our sushi there for some time now (pickup only). It's definitely one of the best around. Last weekend we went out to eat there for the first time in a group of 6 people. You definitely have to emphasize that from the outside you can hardly see where you have to go. It is in the building “zu alten Post”. So from the outside you could identify the restaurant more obviously. Well, yes. Inside it is comfortably furnished with modern furniture. However, after a while you notice that with 6 people it gets a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the food (as usual) was first class! Homemade lemonades are also recommended. Conclusion: once you find the restaurant, you will be treated to really good food.

I had "bun bonam bo". The salad listed on the menu consisted of 1 leaf. The beef was in short supply. There was plenty of pasta as a filling. 14.2 euros The price-performance ratio was therefore poor. The service person noted the complaint. Nothing more happened.

The selection of food and also the food itself is very good and tastes really excellent. Staff is super nice. Special requests are also easily addressed and implemented. Not immediately recognizable as an Asian restaurant from the outside, honestly nice, pleasant modern atmosphere from the inside, friendly service.. nice variety on the menu, fair prices... the service was friendly. Requests were taken into account. The food came quickly and in pleasant portions (starter plus main course). All the ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented and tasted very good. The service was attentive and asked several times whether everything was okay and whether anything was missing.

The selection of food and drinks is really good. The service was quick at the table and the drinks and food we ordered were brought to us within a short time. Special requests were also no problem. The sushi we ordered was delicious, freshly prepared and looked great, but unfortunately it was quite cold. It's a shame that it's only open until 9 p.m., so there's unfortunately little time after dinner to chat over a drink.

Our favorite restaurant when it comes to sushi. The quality is simply top and no matter what you order, it is always delicious and tastes so good. The employees are all very hard working and we feel completely at home here. Keep it up.

The sushi here is outstanding! When you enter the old building you don't expect the modern black, white and pink interior: very pleasant surprise. Modern minimal music is played, too loud for my taste. Service is friendly but not very attentive. My wife and I are big sushi fans and THAT is really delicious here. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. I ordered two starters (spring rolls and fried gyoza) and Chef's Surprise as my main course. Everything is very good. The food has a very good texture and you can feel the freshness of the ingredients.

The sushi price-performance ratio is right. Yes, there was a 20 minute wait to pick it up on the first day, but who cares when everything about the food is great. Especially the tempura shrimp and the tuna are highly recommended! Today we were there again after almost two years. With gourmet block. Everything went great and even though we had children with us, everyone was friendly. The food was GREAT. By far the best sushi we've ever had. We had the curry with rice, the udon noodles with chicken and 2x breaded sushi. The curry could be served with a little more rice, but that's complaining at a high level. The udon noodles with the teriyaki sauce were the best noodles we have ever eaten. The breaded sushi is simply awesome with the sauce and soy sauce. The children devoured the patrons' seats for dessert. The kids liked the chocolate lava cake and the mango ice cream best. I really liked the sesame balls and the baked banana. The vanilla and coconut mochi was also very interesting! Absolute recommendation!! What we particularly like is the beautiful cherry blossom tree as decoration. And it's the first time we can say it's extremely comfortable there. You feel like you're on a good sofa. Rarely have I sat so well in a restaurant. It was also relatively full and a lot of food was picked up. Keep it up! Top notch!

The food itself is delicious but the wait takes a long time

The soup as a starter was okay, but much too expensive for the price advertised. The sushi we ordered was very good. The “warm” dish, however, tasted quite “artificial” and wasn’t exactly hot. The vegetables and noodles were completely overcooked without any bite. Probably just served warmed. The portion of meat in this dish was also more than meager. Behind the counter, the sushi master put the dishes together in an even dimmer light than at the tables. We asked ourselves: how does he recognize the ingredients or if something is wrong??? The ambience: A drafty glass entrance door that was open for every new guest. You had to consciously squeeze them shut. With bad luck, both wings were open. I did the closing from time to time. If you're already sitting in the front area... Most of the guests sat in their jackets. Just because this circumstance has been going on for a long time, I assume that the "operator" doesn't care how comfortable you feel in his restaurant. The light above the tables was rather dim, like in a bar. The benches were too low, it really wasn't comfortable to sit on. The service: When we visited it consisted of two young ladies who were trying hard. Little anecdote; When asked about the cold in the room, she went to the back area to the artificial tree, held her finger in the air, came back and said; It's not much warmer back there either. You can laugh about it afterwards. If you experience it, probably not. There won't be a repeat any time soon. At best in summer. In winter I tend to eat less sushi and next time I wouldn't pay for the warm dish. So if in doubt, maybe we'll pick up food. But definitely only sushi. All in all, rather mixed. It may be that the younger audience is happy with it. But anyone who has eaten in other restaurants will view the whole thing a little more critically.

The best shop in Alzey. Very good sushi always prepared with love and care. Whether to take away or eat there, it's always ready quickly. Ambience is beautiful and modern. Can only recommend it.

In Ordnung. Die Toiletten waren sauber und es gab auch neben dem Spülbecken einige nützliche Utensilien, bspw. Ein Deo- süße Idee. Vor Ort sitzt es sich ganz nett, auf jeden Fall optisch ein Hingucker. Nun zu dem Essen: leider jedes mal sehr lange Wartezeit, da wird man nochmal deutlich hungriger, und das Essen leider überteuert für das was man bekommt, der Salat z.B. ist ohne Soße, aber die Tempurarollen sind ganz lecker! Die Musik ist definitiv auch nicht jedermanns Sache. Ingesamt empfehlenswert in Alzey dort Essen zu gehen, jedoch sehe ich noch Luft nach oben.

Schlemmerblock für Single nicht angenommen Toiletten unsauber

Wir haben Sushi geholt und es war sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist Recht dunkel. Da es mitten in der Stadt ist kann man nicht parken.

Wir waren vor ca. 4 Wochen zum Abendessen dort. Die Sushi Rollen sind recht klein, da sind wir bei dem Preis etwas anderes gewöhnt. In der Tempura-Rolle war die Tempuragarnele sehr kalt und mittlerweile matschig! Der Rest war in Ordnung, die Saucen konnten etwas mehr Geschmack vertragen. Der Service passt leider gar nicht: die Aushilfskellner sind sehr nett, wenn auch zeitweise überfordert. Es war viel los und sowohl die Getränke- als auch Essensbestellung haben wirklich lange gedauert. Der entscheidende Punkt, warum wir nicht mehr kommen würden, war aber der Hauptkellner. Beim Essen sind uns die Getränke ausgegangen, nach langem "auf sich aufmerksam machen" kam dann etwas unwillig der Hauptkellner und hat unsere Bestellung mit einem für alle sichtbarem Augenrollen quittiert. So einen Umgang mit Gästen muss man sich leisten können... Da dieses Restaurant sehr viel Außer-Haus macht, sind wohl Gäste im Restaurant nicht wirklich willkommen, also Masse statt Klasse! Es gibt in Worms deutlich bessere Sushi-Restaurants, wir werden nicht mehr kommen.

Waren heute dort zum Essen. Auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch das die Avocado weg bleib in der Bowl würde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Und der Inhalt und die Menge waren bei weitem nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Schade

Rings um die Weinbar herrscht spätherbstliche Grau Tristesse. In der Weinbar steppt der Bär höchstpersönlich: Sehr gute Weine zu erschwinglichen Preisen,ein sehr freundlicher Service,der nur zu zweit ,bei vollstem Haus das Unmögliche vollbringt ,sowie leckeres Essen. Hier hält man sich am Besten an die Pinsas,die in vielen Variationen vor aller Augen frisch gebacken werden. Wir waren Samstag Mittag da und wenn der Laden voll ist,ist es wirklich sehr laut. Ansonsten absolute Empfehlung.Am Wochenende reservieren,EC möglich.

Schönes Sushi Restaurant mit toller Atmosphäre. Die Sushi Speisen sind lecker und werden schön angerichtet. Ich habe auch hin und wieder andere Speisen probiert und liefern lassen, z.B. eine Bowl und ein Reisgericht. Diese waren jedoch leider für den aufgerufenen Preis enttäuschend (zu kleine Portionen und wenig Gemüse).

Wir gehen schnell was essen... Hammer!! Leider kamen wir kurz vor Schluß- wurden aber trotzdem sehr nett empfangen. Essen ist einfach nur sehr lecker! Und die Limonade ❤️... Kommen bald wieder.

Ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant. Man sollte unbedingt den frittierten Kimchi probieren. Sowas hab ich noch nirgends bekommen. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern und schick.

Essen ok Service schlecht Wenn man als Servicekraft einen Fehler macht, dann ist die Reaktion „Entschuldigung“ und nicht „ Manno“ Wenn das alkoholfreie Radler, das auf der Karte steht, aus ist, dann fragt man, ob man Sprite und alkoholfreies Bier getrennt servieren kann, besser wäre es es gleich so zu servieren. Bambuseinsätze der Vorspeise sind gewollt „undicht“ ( ist ja zum dünsten), wenn man dies allerdings ohne Tellerseviert, landet manches auf dem Tisch. Meine Erwartungshaltung wär ungefragt den Tisch zu wischen, nicht die Bitte darum zu kommentieren. Kehraus ab 22:00 Restaurant von außen kaum zu erkennen Essen ganz gut, hochpreisig Für mich keine erneute Option

Essen super!... und das wars dann auch schon.. Tische viel zu dicht und zu wenige.. Personal Katastrophe, man kommt rein keinee da.. mal fühlt sich wie ein ungebetener Gast, entweder wird man direkt zum zahlen aufgefordert oder es sauert ewig bis jemand kommt das man zahlen kann... wir kommen nicht mehr! Werden wohl nur noch abholen... sehr Schade!

Wir waren im Kaia in einer Gruppe essen und leider nicht begeistert von dem Service und der Qualität des Sushis. Darüber hinaus ist das Ambiente zwar schön gedacht, aber noch nicht wirklich ganz fertig. Das Sushi hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt - wir sind hier besseres gewohnt. Das Sashimi z.B. war ziemlich dick geschnitten. Der Service war unter der Woche schon sehr langsam. Die Tische sind nicht eingedeckt. Die Vorspeise kam z.B. vor dem Besteck und hierauf haben wir nach einigen Minuten erst aufmerksam machen müssen. Der Weg zur Toilette ist dunkel und die Treppe steil. Alles in allem war es ok… aber ich würde hier vor allem für den Preis nicht mehr essen gehen.

Essen ist sehr gut. Wir waren als größere Gruppe dort und ich muss sagen es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Die Organisation hat so gut geklappt, dass wir zusammen Essen konnten. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch einmal dorthin gehen. Ich selbst esse kein Sushi. Es gab aber auch andere Gerichte.

Für meinen Geschmack ist das Ambiente zu dunkel. Gebratene Nudeln war nicht dass, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Getränke haben einen gepfefferten Preis.

Nach wie vor ist der Service leider unterirdisch und passt überhaupt nicht zum gehobenen Preisniveau. Wir besuchen das Restaurant aus diesem Grund nicht mehr, sondern bestellen nur noch zum Abholen. Die Gerichte und Sushi sind aber nach wie vor super.

Wir waren schon mehrere Male hier Sushi essen. Es ist jedesmal einfach fabelhaft. Die Qualität stimmt und es wird immer auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Es ist jedesmal ein Gedicht! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Das Essen war super! Der Service wirkte etwas unkoordiniert. Das Ambiente ist gewollt recht dunkel, so dunkel, dass das Thrkenpersonal die Handytaschenlampe braucht um die Flaschen zu erkennen.

Meine Frau und ich waren das erste Mal bei Kaia und wir hatten unseren Hund mit dabei. Als erstes ist mir positiv aufgefallen, dass wir sofort gefragt wurden, ob man dem Hund etwas bringen könnte. Ruckzuck war ein Schälchen mit Wasser da - sehr aufmerksam. Insgesamt lässt sich zum Service festhalten, dass immer jemand da war und der Gast hier in guten Händen ist. Die Speisen (Sushi & Bowl) waren wirklich sehr gut - frische Zutaten und optisch ansprechen angerichtet - für uns in diesem Punkt ebenfalls alles ok. Das Ambiente ist modern und klar auf eine jüngere Zielgruppe ausgerichtet - dennoch kann sich hier jedermann (darf man das überhaupt noch so sagen?) wohl fühlen. Der Preise sind einen Ticken zu hoch für meinen Geschmack - scheint aber zu funktionieren - der Laden war voll. Fazit: Können wir weiterempfehlen

Sehr cooles modernes Lokal, wir haben Sushi und Bowls gegessen, die uns geschmacklich sehr zugesagt haben. Zum Nachtisch gab’s die „Pure Gönnung“, die wir uns zu viert geteilt haben, auch der hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Lokal ist an sich eher dunkel gestaltet und das Licht nicht sonderlich hell, deshalb 1 Stern Abzug beim Ambiente. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder essen gehen oder auch mal bestellen! :-)

Ich war jetzt schon ein paar Mal da und muss sagen, ich bin begeistert! Mir gefällt das Ambiente, das Essen ist richtig gut und frisch, für die Qualität sind die Preise gerechtfertigt und völlig in Ordnung. Die Auswahl top, es bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Außerdem wird sehr ansprechend serviert. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich, bleibt sogar dann völlig gelassen, wenn man mit mehreren Personen und Schlemmerblöcken einläuft. Nach eigener Aussage lassen sie wohl sogar Ideen der Restaurantbesucher und die Karte einfließen, wenn es passt. Abends haben wir tatsächlich auch schon erlebt, dass es etwas länger dauern kann, wenn richtig viel los ist (Reservieren ist absolut empfehlenswert), aber hey sie sind auch nur Menschen 😉 ich bin da gern bereit ein bisschen Geduld aufzubringen. Ich kann bisher wirklich nicht meckern, komme auf jeden Fall wieder und werde das Kaia auch weiterhin empfehlen!

A great Sushi resturant in the Alzey and in the neighbouring places. The plates are big and the prices are acceptable. The service is fast and the waiters are super friendly.

War heute zum ersten Mal dort, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Tolles Ambiente, der Service ist mega freundlich und das Essen der Hammer :) Nachtrag: Beim nächsten Besuch war der Service leider schlecht... Der Nachbartisch hat sein Essen vor uns bekommen, obwohl wir locker 20min vorher bestellt hatten, dann hat ein Teil der Freestyleplatte sich beim servieren über Handy und Tisch verteilt, war noch ok. Aber anschließend haben wir gut 20 Minuten auf die Rechnung gewartet... Beim nächsten Besuch haben wir das Essen zum mitnehmen bestellt, denn sowas wollten wir nicht wieder erleben. Aber die Qualität des Essens ist top :)

Liebes Kaia Team, wir waren heute zu dritt bei euch essen. Alles war super zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr lecker und wir wollten eigentlich nicht das unsere Platten leer werden. Hervorzuheben sind Eure Bedienungen und die Leute hinter dem Tresen. Wir wurden von Kim und Julia umsorgt. Bitte haltet euch diese Perlen warm. Eine guter Betrieb steht und fällt mit seinem Personal. Hier habt ihr einen guten Griff getan und bitte behandelt diese Perlen sehr gut!! Bis bald mal wieder….. P&K&M 🍀🍀🍀👍

Alles in allem soweit okay. Wir saßen leider an der Tür und da zog es wie Hechtsuppe, da einige Gäste nicht in der Lage waren eine Tür zu schließen. Preislich sind einige Gerichte ambitioniert, Qualität stimmte soweit. Mein Tunfisch sollte glasig gebraten sein, war aber dann doch voll durch. Mit 6 Personen ist man schon ein paar Euronen los 😁
