Great restaurant – very friendly hosts, delicious food, and the restaurant was designed with attention to detail. We really enjoyed our stay. The menu is relatively small, but everything is fresh and beautifully presented. Perhaps there's room for some expansion.

An experience, Very tasty, a must for connoisseurs

We ate there for the first time today and absolutely loved it. The food was really tasty. The starters pepperoni and baked zucchini, both with extremely good and perfectly seasoned tzatziki, are really a poem. The main courses, such as beef fillet with garlic sauce, the Corfu plate and the connoisseur's plate, are also absolutely delicious. We also ordered extra Metaxa sauce. The sauces are really really good, in our opinion, homemade, without any fixes or sauce thickeners. The service is particularly noteworthy, because when we canceled the side salad, our junior was approached directly and explained that he only eats carrot salad and the owner reacted really well and offered to only serve the carrot salad, which was so great because it was open We responded very well to our needs and our junior also ate the carrot salad. Conclusion: we are thrilled. And will definitely come back.

Ordered a pizza from here through an app. I don't know if the chef was blackmailed to cook this bad or if they sold their soul to please German "palate", but this pizza should have been illegal. It was dry and oily at the same time, it arrived cold and hard. It was painfully salty, the salame was a pathetic resemblance of what it should be but, on top of all this disgrace, it wasn't made with mozzarella BUT WITH CHEDDAR. This pizza will haunt me in my sleep for the forseable future.

We had a wonderful evening at the Izakaya and were positively impressed by the “Weck Worschd ‘un Woi” concept. The food was convincing across the board, as it was interpreted in a modern way and had many taste surprises. The team around Julia, Maxim and Takamitsu looked after us excellently throughout the evening and the wine selection was simply perfect. Thank you for the lovely evening and we would come back to the Palatinate just for your fried potatoes.

The food is always freshly prepared using the best products, so sometimes there is a slightly longer wait, but it's worth it!!! Simply very tasty! And varied and seasonal!! Recommended!

We had ordered a Caesar salad - and expected it too. What came was a quite large salad with pieces of turkey breast. But above all it was also a very digressive interpretation of an original Caesar salad. The fact that the salad itself was at best a small proportion of romaine lettuce - a gift. But what makes the Caesar salad the most is the dressing. And that had NOTHING AT ALL to do with Caesar's salad. What was also noticeable was that a companion had ordered a different salad, but almost the same dressing (apparently just without Parmesan in it...). They made it very easy for themselves, which is not appropriate for this level of gastronomy. The fact that the typical and actually obligatory croutons were missing is just the last disappointing side effect. So we got a mixed salad with pieces of turkey breast. But we didn't order that. If we hadn't had company, I would have returned the salad. So the only thing that remains is that unfortunately I simply cannot recommend the restaurant with conviction. It's a shame, because the Lug insland has always had a good reputation and I've had more pleasant visits there.
