Restaurant Hellas in Wachenheim an der Weinstraße

We ate there for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. The food was really delicious. The starters of pepperoni and baked zucchini, both with extremely good and perfectly seasoned tzatziki, are a dream. The main courses, such as the beef fillet with garlic sauce, the Corfu plate and the connoisseur plate are also absolutely delicious. We also ordered extra Metaxa sauce. The sauces are really good, in our opinion homemade, without any pre-made ingredients or sauce thickeners. The service is particularly noteworthy because when we canceled the side salad, our junior was immediately taken into account when he explained that he only eats carrot salad. The owner was really great and offered to serve us just the carrot salad. That was so great because he responded really well to our needs and our junior then ate the carrot salad too. In summary, we are thrilled and will definitely come back.

Top Greek restaurant, very good food! The Odysseus plate for two is worth a sin!

We had a very good dinner here. The recommended lamb chop was very good, and the host was very friendly.

Located near the train station, easily accessible. The food was very tasty. We received a very friendly welcome and were asked about our wishes every now and then. We'll definitely be back.

A fantastic Greek restaurant with truly delicious food, something you don't often find in Germany. Very attentive service. Unfortunately, it's right next to the soccer field. Very well-maintained.

The best chicken soup around! Also tasty in midsummer. And the bifteki is great!

We had a great evening in Hellas. The service staff/owner were super attentive and very accommodating. The food was very tasty and more than enough. It was no problem taking the dog with us. We would come back at any time :)

Nice covered terrace to sit outside, delicious food, good portion sizes and very friendly but not intrusive staff. We'll definitely come back.

The club restaurant is quite nice, but back in Altrip I thought the ambience with the wall decorations was nicer ':D You can now watch the soccer players training! However, the food and service remain at an excellent level. The appetizer plate in particular will be an absolute must for me on future visits! Keep it up!

Very nice club restaurant with a view of the football field! The food, as we were used to back then in Altrip, was simply excellent! I'm really sad that you're no longer there, but I'll still stop by every now and then when I'm in the area. Recommendation to anyone who wants hearty Greek food! I can especially recommend the mixed appetizer platter, the gyros in Metaxa sauce and the "galactically good" Galaktoboureko!

You can try it out, but the competition in the area is strong. The service was very attentive, nice staff. However, the meal wasn't entirely satisfactory, because unfortunately the side salad was drowned in dressing, the food only came to the table lukewarm and for a portion of tzatziki for *€6.20* (not even as a starter) it's bordering on cheeky.. Unfortunately it didn't convince us

essen vom geschmack wie man es von guten griechen aus deutschland kennt, Inventar etwas in die jahre gekommen, speißen eher lieblos angerichtet. service nett und schnell.

Endlich haben wir es mal geschafft den „neuen“ Griechen in Wachenheim auszuprobieren. Sehr nettes Team, aufmerksam und fix. Außergewöhnlich und typisch für die griechische Küche - Lammhaxe. Wüsste nicht, welches Restaurant dieses Gericht anbietet. Alles sehr lecker! Wer draußen sitzen möchte, sollte reservieren…. Alles Gute und weiter so!

Mittlerweile war ich bereits das dritte Mal im Hellas essen...und was soll ich sagen, es war jedesmal sehr gut. Im beigefügtem Bild sieht man den Gyros Teller....Fleisch perfekt gegrillt und die Pommes frisch und knackig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ;-)

Wir hatten auf 13 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und kamen knapp eine Stunde früher an. War kein Problem und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten gleich essen. Wir kamen aus Altrip hierher da wir den Pfälzer Hof in Altrip sehr vermisst haben und vor kurzem erfahren haben das der Inhaber jetzt in Wachenheim das Hellas hat. Es war sehr gemütlich und vor allem sehr lecker. Die Preise echt super und das Personal top. Wir werden öfter kommen!

Tolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist super lecker und die Portionen sind dem Preis angemessen. Obwohl wir kurz vor Feierabend hier hergekommen sind. Wurden wir sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Sehr gerne wieder

Lieber Dimi, nach unserem gestrigen Besuch, kann ich nur sagen....wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause. Das Lokal ist sehr hell und lichtdurchflutet, tolle Terrasse, der Service und das Essen so wie es in Altrip war, einfach nur lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Freundliches Personal,leckeres Essen und alles tip top sauber und ordentlich...waren sogar mit grossen Hund willkommen....Terrasse am Lokal..Preis und Leistung passt ..kommen gern wieder

Eigentlich hatten wir vor das erste mal direkt vor Ort zu essen aber haben uns dazu entschieden das Essen dort zu bestellen und abzuholen. Das hat in dem Fall super geklappt. 20 Minuten wurden angesagt und als ich kam war alles schon gerichtet in einer Tüte und es gab noch einen Ouzo dazu :). Da ich nicht so weit zum fahren habe war das Essen noch sehr warm und man konnte direkt los mampfen. Ich muss sagen wir waren sehr zufrieden mit den Portionen und geschmacklich gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Die Bernaise Soße muss ich hervorheben die war mega lecker. Der Beilagen Salat war sehr knackig und super angemacht vom Dressing her. Wir werden definitiv öfters vorbei kommen oder bestellen zum abholen. Endlich mal wieder ein Restaurant im Ort wo ich sagen kann da gehe ich gerne wieder hin :). Alles Gute weiterhin und das sie uns lange erhalten bleiben. Efharistò!

Tolles Essen, traditionell und reichlich, Karte übersichtlich, Service sehr gut, wir kommen wieder, empfehlenswert.

Schönes Lokal, sehr gutes Essen,wie damals in "Altrip ".Personal sehr zuvorkommend und wie immer sehr Nett. Preise "human ". Auf alle Fälle weiter zu empfehlen.

Total freundliches, rücksichtsvolles und zuvorkommendes Personal. Alles sehr sauber und appetitlich. Das Essen hat allen super geschmeckt. Preise sind angemessen, Portionen genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Mega :) ist seit Jahrzehnten unser Lieblings Grieche ( vorher in Altrip ) und nun endlich wieder geöffnet in Wachenheim Super lecker, freundlicher Inhaber, schönes Ambiete, Parkplätze vorhanden Schön das wir Dimi wieder gefunden haben :)
