Warmest recommendation!!! A quaint little place with Russian pop music playing, balalaika on the wall and fantastic food. I came in when they were about to clean up and close down, but Alexander greeted me very friendly and welcomed me in. I had the Schaschlik and blini for dessert which were both amazing. The food is prepared and served with love and an eye for detail. Atmosphere, service and food were outstanding!

Nel quartiere di Friedrichshain abbiamo prenotato questo caffè/ristorante russo che ha conservato un arredamento retrò che testimonia la sua storia. Buon antipasto con mousse e tartare di salmone. Valide anche la ciotola di formaggio di capra e la zuppa. Assaggiati asparagi bianchi con uova, patate e una salsa delicata: very good. Personale gentile. Atmosfera rilassante.

This restaurant is highly recommended, great cuisine, a great selection of food and drinks and very tasty food. The service was really great and extremely friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. I would love to eat here again.

The atmosphere is like an ordinary dining room, the strong smell of food coming from the kitchen and very loud visitors at the next table. The WORST place I have ever been to. First of all, there’s no slavic authenticity. As far as I read from another review here, it’s run by the owner of the Indian restaurant nearby. So the staff, the music playing and everything are absolutely not what you expect from this restaurant’s name. And yeah, they don’t speak Russian or Ukrainian. The menu is so random. It has 2-3 dishes from Russian/Ukrainian cuisine and that’s it. And also the staff are rude and behave outrageous.
