The food was excellent, but the coffee machine was broken, so no coffee drinks were available. Tea prepared from tea bags is not typical in a Russian restaurant.

Good price and delicious food! Unfortunately, they no longer accept cards and online orders.

I will never order the plov here again. Truly disappointing!

I was there with my wife and child. I don't know what negative reviews there are, but I will say that the food here is delicious. We ordered pelmeni, vareniki, potatoes with cutlet and compotes. Then we took that honey cake. I will say it was very tasty. I recommend it!!! And not expensive

The food was mixed in terms of taste. The borsch and olivie were great. The meatball, however, was very hard. My son had a schnitzel, which was freshly prepared and excellent, but the potatoes that came with it were swimming in grease. Maybe we were just unlucky that day. Overall, the cafe was good. Oh, and the khinkali were delicious, but the end that you could grab was missing; it was probably frozen.

Came in this morning. Waited about five minutes. No one came out behind the bar ((( and the smell in the hall/in the establishment was so-so... didn't get to try the borscht ((

We entered the restaurant; only the cook was there, and she took our order. She was really nice, and the prices are very fair for this area. Then the waitress came, and she treated us and all the other guests very differently. Everyone who arrived after us was served first—with drinks and food. We think this was because, unlike us, all the other guests were of Caucasian origin and spoke either the cook's or the waitress's language, while we speak English and German. Our palmeni had a fly on it, which we pointed out. The reaction was very unclear and indifferent, and we didn't get a replacement. There was a mistake with the change, which we only noticed ourselves; the waitress seemed annoyed and unwelcoming. The palmeni were only mediocre—the dough was tasty, but the beef was dry and hardly better than store-bought items from a Russian store. The location and presentation are beautiful, but the service and food are very disappointing. Unfortunately, we only give them one star.

The wait for the food was very long. Zero service; you had to ask for everything (drinks, glasses). The food was very bland and tasted like processed foods. But above all, the staff was very inattentive. There was no trace of friendly service.

Eating well and cheaply isn't easy in Berlin. Just the service isn't very professional, and they don't take the menu or advertise it.

The pelmeni were delicious. The price-performance ratio for a small drink (for example, hot chocolate for €2, tea for €1, or a teapot for €5.50) and delicious pelmeni for €8.90 are also fair. :) The atmosphere is also quiet and relaxed, accompanied by pleasant music.

Friends, I recommend visiting this wonderful cafe, a wonderful menu, not expensive. For example, fish soup called fish soup costs 3.50, goulash with a side dish 7.50. Best borsh and pelmenies I've ever had. Sometimes, they have Russian music playlist, and it completes the lunch. I will advice to visit during the middays.

I haven't been to the establishment, but I ordered borscht and pancakes with meat - very tasty. The Olivier salad is not tasty, though, it's coarsely chopped and with chicken, like the Stolichny salad.

I read the comments. I think I'll go in now and have a great meal. The road took 20 minutes. Not only do I go in, no one meets me) I go up to the cashier and take the menu. After the deputy, I go up to him and look for the seller. The man leisurely comes out, takes the order and the answer is well, you'll have to wait 25 minutes. What))) even in the most stinking eatery, people don't wait 25 minutes for an order.))) for the owner of this establishment! If your sales have dropped, I think you should ask the employee why)))

the food tastes great. The price of the food is great. The service is excellent, I was served by a wonderful woman who answered all my questions. The atmosphere is like an ordinary dining room, the strong smell of food coming from the kitchen and very loud visitors at the next table. Next time I will take food with me as I don't feel like staying there

We came here for traditional Chechen food and it tasted like our home. Everything was served warm, everything as it should be, and we had very nice service. You can eat either inside or outside. If you would like to try traditional Chechen or Russian food, this is a great place and I can only warmly recommend it. Definitely 10/10 from me and would only eat there the next time I was in Berlin.

The food tasted bad and they were slow and rude.

The food was great. There was only one woman working here and she cooked, cleaned and served the tables and worked the cashier and we still didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere is a simple cafe style restaurant with Russian music playing on the TV... It was a great place to get a hot bowl of borscht on a cold day.

Pelmeni are great, i can really recommend them, especially for the price. borsch was disappointing, but the desserts were nice. service is nothing fancy, but polite. the place is a little sketchy, but if you want to have decent pelmeni for a good price, this is definitely the right place

Quite tasty, food feels like home But I don't like the music

I wanted to make my boyfriend happy because he is of Russian origin. The food is carelessly warmed up and has little in common with Russian cuisine in terms of taste. What I found worst, however, was that the potato salad I ordered contained meat that was not declared on the menu! This is an absolute no go for vegetarians, it shocked me. The shop's presentation is rustic Russian, I wouldn't eat there again!

My boyfriend and I visited this cafe for the first time in 2023 in the summer. We were looking for dumplings and found very tasty and most importantly halal, it is important for us that I am Jewish and he is Muslim. At first we ordered one portion, then more and more. The second time we were there in the winter, we took dumplings and cabbage rolls. Everything was delicious, that's true. But, the downsides in this cafe are an unpleasant smell, like spoiled food, loud national music of Chechnya (although it is positioned as Eastern European cuisine). The women are not friendly, although I smiled a lot. My boyfriend was very angry because of their unfriendliness, I don't know why they behaved like that, we are nice and kind. For food 5, service 1, atmosphere 1. Girls, grow and develop, you cook deliciously, but do not know how to communicate with people.‼️

We ordered takeout. The food here is fantastic, almost as good as my homemade dishes. The Pelmeni, Wareniki, and Meatball Soup were all excellently prepared—fresh and authentic. The Pirogi were also top-notch. Overall, it's very affordable!

Food great. Ambiance OK. Prices top. Service terrible. The young man was nice, the older woman who served us afterwards was unfriendly, uninterested and not present. It's a shame that this culture is presented like this. We could have saved it too. Unfortunately.

I will write in Russian, because it is Russian speakers who will understand me. This place has pancakes with meat, dumplings with sour cream, butter or broth for only 6.5 euros, there is borscht, a normal salad of tomatoes and cucumbers, pies with cabbage, potatoes, and meat. Tasty and very, very inexpensive.

The worst cafe in Berlin. The attitude is rude, it’s impossible to eat cabbage rolls. Chechen music is screaming at them, they asked them to turn it down, they were rude, they said go eat at home.

The food was delicious and had a good price. We were a little bit shocked when the waitress told us “to order later” with an indifferent attitude. But then I understood that she was cooking and serving at the same time. The service wasn’t very friendly at the beginning but then I used my basic Russian skills and had no more problems ordering everything in Russian. That made the conversation more pleasant. She works hard and lives the stressful big city life. Apart from the service the food was amazing. Большое спасибо. Будьте здоровы!

Very tasty homemade food. Zhizhig galnash, pies with different fillings, Olivier, chepalgsh, khingalsh and much more and sit in a cozy place and nice people, top class service, everything is fresh, in general, everything is Chechen.

This is exactly how I imagine a Russian meal. You feel like you're in Russia. Tastes great, price/performance perfect. Spartan equipment, but that doesn't detract.

As a Russian person who really appreciates Russian cuisine I was deeply disappointed. I ordered pelmeni with beef, a pancake with meat filling and пирожное картошка. An hour after I had had some of my pelmeni, I threw up very badly. Something was very wrong about those pelmeni. Do not recommend.

Zamówiliśmy - bliny z mięsem - chachapuri z serem - kotlet z kurczaka z ziemniakami - pielmieni Z wyżej wymienionych najgorzej wypadły bliny, które były po prostu suche, a naleśnik zrobiony na słodko i spieczony. Najbardziej mi smakowało chachapuri z serem. Sznycel z piersi oraz pielmieni były dobre, bez szału, ale smaczne. Knajpka mała, bardzo kameralna. Obsługa bardziej przejęta telefonem niż wchodzącymi gośćmi. Czas oczekiwania dosyć długi: na drugą porcję pielmieni, zamówioną w tym samym wraz ze wszystkimi daniami, czasie czekaliśmy z 20 min. Zdążyliśmy zjeść przystawki i dwie osoby zdążyły zjeść swoje dania nim przyszło trzecie danie, czyli wspomniana druga porcja pielmieni dla znajomego.

Wir haben grad eben über Lieferando bestellt. 2 Botischal (Haxipuri) und 2 Medovik. Es war alles sehr frisch und so lecker 😩💕

Es war mal lecker gewesen. Vor einem Jahr. Nun ist der Tresen immer leer. Die Pirogge nicht tagesfrisch, die aufgetaute russische Spezialitäten schmeckten gar nicht. Man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen, aber die Dame kann kein Rückgeld nicht mal von 20€ geben. Und ja, wie schon geschrieben wurde, die Damen spielen laut mit Handys.

Pelmeni waren lecker, Manty etwas trocken, aber hausgemacht! Teigtaschen mit Sauerkraut meiner Meinung nach haben zu wenig Füllung gehabt, hat aber trotzdem geschmeckt und für 2€ pro Stück kann man nicht meckern. Es könnte alles bissl schöner serviert werden. Ansonsten war ich sehr froh, dass es in Berlin tolle Möglichkeiten gibt die Speisen aus der Heimat zu genießen

Wir haben heute das Essen über Lieferando bestellt. Leider kam eine verdorbene Frikadellensuppe mit einem Geruch von dem verdorbenen Fleisch und 2 Piroggen mit Fleisch, die ebenfalls im Müll landeten, weil sie innen richtig nass und ungenießbar waren. Kohlroulade war auch richtig trocken. Schreckliches ungenießbares Abendessen.

Jednak Polacy i Rosjanie mają wiele wspólnego. Kuchnia rosyjska i polska są prawie identyczne, pyszne, niesamowite. Polecam

I ordered borscht, vareniki & plov, all tasted amazing. The food is freshly made so it will take a while but then it makes sure the quality is good. Also tried the homemade kompot (cold), great for a hot summer day. The prices of each dishes are very good for the amount they offer. Besides Eastern European dishes they also offer traditional Uzbek/uyghur dishes such as plov, manti and even lagman! All food here is halal. Cash payment only. Owners of restaurant very friendly.
