This place is simply amazing. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and tastes fenomenal.

A small snack, I felt comfortable, therefore 5* for the ambience! Delicious dishes, freshly prepared and beautifully presented!

The food was quite good. I can understand the reviews regarding the waiter's strange behavior. He always left funny sayings. Also a bit expensive.

Had the famous soup! It was amazing. The fine tastes really hit and stood out. It has a very cozy atmosphere with warm service.

In my opinion the waiter (12/09 evening around 9 p.m.) was drunk. First Pelmeni offered me. I asked if I could look at the menu and come in he said no. Then I asked how much does it cost and how many pieces does a portion have? He told me to go away and he closed it. I am a disabled person. Maybe he didn't understand it or didn't want to understand it. The question, if he wanted to close, was why he offered something first

The worst service I have ever experienced. The waiter/owner seemed drunk and smelled really bad. He was insulting to his guests for no reason and spit at other people's feet. Simply disgusting. I don't understand how someone like that can run a restaurant... Absolutely not recommended.

A bit difficult to write the right review here. The food was really great, the cook was obviously very stressed but still did a great job. But the waiter (owner?) is an absolute disgrace. As a native of Berlin, I can distinguish the dreaded Berlin friendliness from insults and audacity. If I had been alone, I would definitely have left while I was still drinking. Wearing short, unclean sports shorts with worn-out shoes is already very borderline in the catering industry. As a guest, you don't have to like dancing your head off with loud music in the guest room like there's no tomorrow. Stupid sayings are sometimes quite funny, but should still provide the answer (you shouldn't ask how big an appetizer is, just hope that you get what you wanted). For dessert I was given something other than what I ordered without telling me. I was only informed about this when billing. Reason: Too many staff on vacation and the woman in the kitchen can't do it. The excuse was also made several times by other guests. Then everyone goes on vacation and closes the shop for a few weeks. Others do it too. I would rather have that kind of service. Russian. There wasn't any because the buyer was on vacation... Stable in a Russian restaurant. The prices are also way too high for the area and the ambience. Really a shame for the cook, who had done a very good job. The waiter really didn't help her at all. The ability to take criticism (see other bad reviews) also says a lot. Just accept it and don't attack the reviewers as AI or liars. I won't be coming back and won't recommend it solely because of the type of cellar Addendum: typos happen, yes, that's how it was. But to talk about it like that and write texts that are completely incoherent... Stable. I could easily afford the food, but it is still too expensive for the area and what is on offer. Fantastic food and it really tastes like fresh food made with love and skill. The food isn't exactly cheap, but that's more than ok given the quantity (very filling!) and quality, because the leftovers were enough for a meal the following day. Really great... very authentic and delicious. We haven't eaten there yet, but we pass by the restaurant often. It is relatively small, but looks very cozy. So if you like to try Siberian/Russian food, you should try it here - really great!

I had to update this review. The son of the cook was very belligerent and nationalist, plus a terrible waiter. I speak Russian as well as German. Since he spoke Russian to me last time around, I assumed I could speak Russian to him again, but he told me that “we are in Berlin”, and did so disrespectfully and in front of other guests. When everyone had left, I asked him what the reason for his behavior was, as well as where he was originally from, at which point he threatened to call the police on me… This owner even wrote a long reply to this review, claiming I was “drunk and bullied him in front of other people.” There was literally nobody there except him, myself and my friend. Also, I did have vodka but wasn’t drunk, just didn’t like the service and tried to speak to him like a human being, something evidently quite foreign to him, regardless of language. And if he indeed “gave my description to the police” (which I haven’t seen show up), that would have been the stupidest waste of time, since there was absolutely no threat to him or his restaurant. Disgusting behavior, truly… Btw, I ordered from this “restaurant” once via Wolt (before the aforementioned incident), including the imported Russian Old Miller beer for over 5€, but received a Berliner Pils instead… I have photos and other evidence to prove it. There are so many much better Eastern European restaurants in Berlin, so don’t make the same mistake I made and just go elsewhere. P.S.: Check out the other negative reviews, there are many. This waiter/owner responds to each by saying that we are all liars, that we should find other ways to get our aggression out like “going to church or boxing”, that these are all fake reviews, etc. This is just so crazy… ——- The food was very good. I can recommend the Borscht, Vareniki and Golubtzi. The main server was very helpful and kind, but also had to do all the work by himself, which felt somewhat tedious and the service felt a bit slow. Overall, a positive experience, just don’t expect something out of the ordinary - it’s a small cafe.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because we were scared away by a very stressed man with the words "OPEN IN 10 MINUTES" (at 1 p.m., mind you, when according to Google the restaurant should have been open for an hour). I then read more negative reviews outside the door and decided to eat somewhere else. It's a shame because I was actually looking forward to the food, but with such unfriendly service I wouldn't want to stay any longer in the tiny restaurant that smelled strangely of old urine. In addition, the owner's responses to the critical reviews here are really more than embarrassing. *Addendum regarding embarrassing responses to reviews: The owner claims I didn't enter the store, which is factually untrue. Me and my friend even walked in twice. The first time was when we were sent away and then read more reviews in the shade a few meters away from the store. The second time we walked in after another couple (in the hope that the service would hopefully be a little friendlier with several guests), where we really had the opportunity to smell the smell in the restaurant, which finally put us off and we left the store then quickly left again. By the way, there was no service staff at the counter at the time. Everyone was probably in the back of the kitchen at the time. I'll just ignore any stupid insults in the owner's response for now. I am astounded by the rude attitude of the waiter at this establishment. As part of the group mentioned in the 1-star review below, I experienced firsthand the unprofessionalism that defined our visit. The waiter shouted at us from the outset and displayed irritation over our order of a large drink, claiming it was not possible because they hadn't washed the glass. His conduct culminated in a personal verbal attack on my friend. His lengthy reply below speaks volumes about his need to vent his stress. Perhaps he might consider a more constructive outlet, such as attending church or taking up boxing himself. It’s clear he feels compelled to express his rudeness and arrogance in writing.

Even if the food is good, the HORRIBLE service will ruin your entire experience. I usually don’t write negative reviews or focus much on service, but the service at this restaurant was beyond imagination. I’m sharing this so others don’t make the same mistake we did. Here’s what happened: Our group of six asked the waiter to take our order. Instead of helping, he handed us a piece of paper and told us to write everything down ourselves. When we tried to ask about the menu, he flatly said, "NO!" We assumed he was just busy and tried to be understanding. About 20 minutes later, the waiter finally checked our order. Most of the drinks we wanted were unavailable, though they weren’t marked as such on the menu. We settled for Kwas, but when we ordered the 0.4L size, he told us they only had 0.2L glasses because the larger ones were dirty. He offered to give us two 0.2L glasses but wanted to charge us double, which was ridiculous (0.2L costs 3.5€, while 0.4L is 4.5€). It was clear he was just trying to squeeze more money out of us. Later, we waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. When it was time to pay, the waiter stayed at the counter and made us walk over to him, even though our table was just three steps away. When we asked for a detailed invoice, he was unwilling to provide it. Clearly offended by our request, he verbally attacked one of our friends, saying, "If a woman like you is so aggressive, you won’t get far." After we left the money on the table, he said, "Now I need to count it to make sure it’s correct." This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. When we mentioned leaving a bad review, he arrogantly responded, "I have 100 good reviews; one bad one from you won’t matter." This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is appalling. If the waiter continues to treat customers this way, they won’t get far.

Very creepy/weird owner/waiter. We knew what we wanted (having lived in Russia and speak Russian), but he insisted on showing us what his daily specials were. We tried to tell him what we wanted, but he didn't listen. We left because he made us very uncomfortable.

Very tasty food! We were advised, cooked and served with so much passion and dedication that the somewhat simple atmosphere was no longer noticeable. There is nothing russian in that restaurant. Georgian, Ukrainian, Tatar food being proudly presented as russian. So their lie starts when you look at their menu. Pelmeni looked quite good, but taste wise they were bland and boring for someone who knows how real pelmeni should taste. You can find way better options in Berlin to be honest. The service was nervous and very unfriendly. We felt like we were not welcome there so it made us want to leave the place as soon as we could.

Nothing about this place is authentic. Where are the famous kulebyakas? Where are crepes on spades? Why can’t I order a snocha?

I noticed some inaccuracies in your menu regarding the origins of certain dishes. For instance: Borscht is traditionally a Ukrainian dish, not Russian. It would be great if this could be reflected in your menu. Holubtsi: The name "holubtsi" is derived from the Ukrainian word for pigeon, "holub." A quick search will confirm this. Vareniki (Varenyky) are also part of Ukrainian cuisine. Chebureki originate from Crimea, which is currently occupied by Russia. Syrniki are another example of Ukrainian cuisine. It's important to recognize and respect the cultural origins of these dishes. Additionally, I noticed that Borjomi is listed under the "Russian Drinks" section. Borjomi is a Georgian mineral water, and given the political situation between Russia and Georgia, it might be more appropriate to list it under Georgian beverages.

It is food with love and soul. We had the Manti dumplings, beet root soup and a honey cake, each one was fantastic and the price is reasonable. I’m not Russian, but it makes me feel at home, just like what you get from your grandmother. Extremely warm service, you don’t only eat here, but also can get to know all about the Russian kitchen. Don’t miss it!

Lovely little place with homemade siberian cuisine. The owner is very welcoming and happy to explain the culture background of the dishes.

Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to eat there because the people were so unpleasant. The first time I said I would like to do takeaway, he already asked. 3rd time if I made a reservation. He didn't understand the Russian names of dishes, he grew up in Germany and was speaking Russian in the kitchen a minute later. When I misunderstood a question, he originally said he had ears and I could answer yes. And when I said that I found the ordering process very complicated, he immediately said goodbye to me with a "yes, go eat somewhere else". That was a very unpleasant encounter.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Katjuscha in Berlin. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere and blend of traditional and modern decor set the perfect tone. The menu features authentic Russian dishes like rich borscht, succulent pelmeni, and flavorful beef stroganoff. The shashlik was juicy and perfectly grilled. The drink selection, especially the Russian vodkas, complements the food well. The honey cake, Medovik, was a sweet and delightful dessert. The service was outstanding, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Katjuscha offers a genuine taste of Russia and is highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.

Service only consisted of the food being brought to you, otherwise you had to serve yourself. Prices are not justified for the portions. We were reminded several times that a group of 20 men was expected and that we only had 20 minutes left. The food itself was good. All in all ok.

I took a group of 9 and visited this very small restaurant and had an amazing evening there. Ranging from the borscht and the sorrel soup to the main dishes including cabbage rolls, meatballs and pelmeni and fried dumplings, to the sweet desserts of blini pancakes and filled pancakes with cheese. The food was heavenly! You have taken us on an amazing culinary journey. Thank you! BTW for big groups reservation is recommended

Food, service and ambience deserve a 10/10. This small but very fine restaurant was the highlight of our Berlin trip. The service was really extremely good and we were advised until we were absolutely happy with the order. The food was a dream and the cake was the perfect ending. I am not being paid for this review, I would just like to thank you again for the great experience. The manti mix with starters and the stew is highly recommended. If you don't appreciate Russian cuisine, you shouldn't give the restaurant fewer points because of that. I would like to attach photos of the great food. Unfortunately I can't find the function for that. Definitely give the store a chance and don't let the negative comments put you off. Unforgettable and will definitely be repeated. 🥰🥰

A very authentic place. The entire interior reminds me of my childhood; warm memories come flooding back from the pictures on the wall. The name "Katyusha" resonates with me (my name is Katya). The waiter/manager is a very kind, hospitable man. It felt like I was visiting his home, not a café. He speaks very good German and English and also understands Russian. We ordered pancakes with condensed milk, dumplings, borscht, galushki, tea, and fruit drink. While waiting for our order, we were treated to snacks: fruits and chips. The pancakes were thin and lacy—just right! Very delicious. All portions were large and filling. The borscht was especially impressive; not everyone can cook it so well! I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant. I really liked everything. I definitely recommend it!

Had a terrible experience due to racism from the guy, who works there. I am from Central Asia, Russian is my mother tongue. The guy was super nice to the other customers (Germans) he was waiting on, whereas he didn’t even want to speak to me and didn’t want to serve me. Then, when I asked him why he was being rude to me and nice to other customers, he said that he doesn’t understand my Russian (which is ridiculous, of course), then I said I can switch to English and he said I have to speak German if I live in Germany. At the same time, he was speaking in perfect Russian with his mom, who was in the kitchen and claimed he didn’t understand my Russian and refused to speak with me in Russian. Also, what was there to understand? I only wanted to order pelmeni to go and that’s it. In the end, he gave my money back and kicked me out of the cafe. I had such a terrible, painful feeling for a few days after that incident. Especially, considering our history of Central Asia and how Russians treat us with complete disrespect and racism, it made me feel terrible and hurt. If you are a Caucasian foreigner or Slavik-looking Russian, you will probably get a perfect service here, but not if you are a person of color and come from a country that Russia has been oppressing historically.

I rarely write negative reviews but I couldn’t ignore the experience I had at this place. I visited Katjuscha a few weeks ago, wishing to get a slice of Medovik cake to go. Unfortunately, the owner/manager was not welcoming at all; there was definitely a communication issue, and due to my speaking English, I think they tried to benefit from the situation saying that the slice of cake was 9 something EUR! When I asked the weight/portion size of the cake, he defended himself saying it was a “restaurant” and “it has extra cost…” This is by far the weirdest thing I ever heard and encountered, considering me visiting different restaurants every day. What can I say is that this place in fact does not look like a restaurant but a kiosk, and someone has to remind the owner that they are not Cédric Grolet. :)

Phenomenal authentic Siberian food. Amazingly nice owners who tell great stories and love all visitors. Lucky we found this hidden treasure!

We always come back and are thrilled with the quality of the food! Totally inconspicuous from the outside, but once you venture in, you will be rewarded with such delicious food!

The service didn't deserve a star, the food was really tasty after some back and forth. Unfortunately we had to pack the food as the waiting time was well over 60 minutes and we found it disgraceful that our food was forgotten. 30 minutes into our visit a group arrived and received their food in a few minutes while we were still sitting at the table without food The service left a lot to be desired - unfriendly service, little attention to our needs. The delicious dishes only partially compensated for the disappointing service experience. Overall, I would only conditionally recommend this restaurant because of the great food but the very very poor service.

First of all the food is really good , homemade and authentic . But the owner is probably the most unpleasant man I never encounter in the hospitality business . I went few times to this place but during my last visit the owner was clearly out of his mind. After I great him , he answer to me in the rudest way with “ I don’t know you , what do you want “? I remind him to calm down the situation that I went several times here ( I even know his surname ) he just cut me in the middle and told me “ I have no time “ and disappear . The lady in the kitchen is really professional and smiling , but this guy should rather work in a jail than in a restaurant . It’s a shame especially when you know Russian hospitality , but you will clearly not find it here. After reading other reviews I realize that I’m not the only one who had bad experience with the owner and I really hope they will somehow understand that you simply can’t talk to customer like that. From now on I rather spend my money somewhere else

Best Russian food in Berlin! With birch sap and absolutely fantastic sorrel soup, Siberian dumplings, and finally topped off with blinjs, you feel like you are blissfully in Siberia.

I have never been greeted and seated in a restaurant in such an unfriendly, inappropriate and rude manner. The best decision of the evening was to leave this place of visual horror before ordering!

Katyusha is a small experience. We (the three of us) thought the food was great, even if some of it was unusual. A small plate of snacks is served with a bottle of wine - highlight! We had to get used to the service - brusque and awkward, but in the end warm and with a lot of humor. The ambience could use an update - but somehow not. Because is it still as authentic? We'll come back again - because in the end we had a very sociable evening that will be remembered.

Food was good, advice regarding vegan options was subpar. If you promote vegan food, you should also know what is vegan. Either way we won't be coming back because of the service. We felt uncomfortable and think that a person with this type of communication has absolutely no place in the service. A pity!

Nice, familiar atmosphere, fast and very friendly service with detailed advice. As a starter we ordered egg tarts with meat (bliny) and perashki, which were very good! The main course was stuffed peppers with minced meat (vegetarian options are also available), and homemade potatoes and buckwheat were chosen as side dishes. It was very good. Mors (a Russian drink) was freshly made for us and very tasty. But what we particularly liked was the way all orders were served: beautifully “decorated” with fruit and vegetables and made with love.

It was my first time here and I immediately felt at home. I had pelmeni and they were perfect! The waiter was very polite, friendly and accommodating! I'll be back here next time I'm in Berlin!

We had a rest with a group, I worked in this eatery for 3 years in the restaurant business, “I have something to compare with” and I have never seen such an incompetent waiter. Kitchen 50/50 in general, a spoiled mood, and a ruined evening

We were there as a group in December. The waiter (possibly also the owner) was the worst thing that has happened to me to date (and I really go out to eat often). He was extremely unfriendly, brash and rude to all of us. Someone like that shouldn't work in the restaurant industry. The shop itself looks more like a snack bar and doesn't seem the least bit inviting or cozy to me. The food was okay, Russian/Siberian cuisine isn't my thing personally, but everyone has to try it out for themselves. I cannot recommend this store due to the terrible service.

The restaurant really has excellent cuisine. If you like to eat hearty food and want to try something different, this is the right place for you. In my opinion, the potato dumplings with vegetarian filling are particularly recommended. The only downside, as many other visitors have noted, is the service. Everything is handled by a young man and that can quickly become overwhelming and stressful. Unfortunately, in such situations it can get a little unfriendly, but if you want to be patient and enjoy very good food, I can highly recommend this small but one restaurant.

Einfach nur schade. War nach meinem ersten Besuch begeistert von dem kleinen, süßen Laden und dem spannenden Essen. Kam wieder mit anderer Begleitung und erlebte dann einen der schlimmsten Restaurantbesuche aller Zeiten. Wie schon in anderen Rezensionen zu lesen: Der Service war (beim ersten Besuch schon etwas überfordert und dieses Mal) vollkommen indiskutabel unterirdisch. Da ist selbst ein Stern zu viel! Wir wurden auf der Stelle derartig ausverschämt zurechtgewiesen, belehrt, regelrecht runtergeputzt vor allen Gästen, einfach nur, weil wir nicht sofort das System der Speisekarte durchblickt hatten. Ich fragte, wieso der gute Mann denn heute so schlecht gelaunt sei, ich wollte eigentlich nur nett essen gehen. Er stänkerte hinter seinem Tresen weiter, er sei überhaupt nicht schlecht gelaunt und erzählte anderen Gästen über uns, "man könne es auch besonders kompliziert machen". Grund: Es stehen 3 von 4 Füllungen zur Wahl, wir haben die 3 gewünschten aufgezählt, hätten aber nur die 1 nicht gewünschte nennen sollen. Rechtfertigt das so eine Reaktion? Was auch gar nicht geht: Eine komplette Seite in der Karte weist vegetarische und auch vegane Varianten aus, wir bestellten ausdrücklich vegan und bekamen Kuhmilch-Joghurt serviert. Auf die Frage, ob der Joghurt wirklich vegan sei, kam ein mitleidig-belehrendes Grinsen: "Gibt's denn veganen Joghurt?" - "Ja, na klar?" - "Dann ist es kein echter Joghurt." ... Besonders lustig ist so eine Antwort im veganen Mekka Friedrichshain. Sorry, aber wenn man keine Ahnung von veganer Kost hat, einfach nicht anbieten! Ansonsten grenzt es an Betrug. Es gibt auch Leute, die - aus welchen Gründen auch immer - einfach keine Milchprodukte zu sich nehmen DÜRFEN, das ist nicht zwingend irgendein blöder Lifestyle oder eine Tageslaune! Ich (als einzige Vegetarierin am Tisch) habe mich dann dem Joghurt angenommen, damit er nicht stehenbleibt / weggeworfen wird. Damit handelte ich mir die nächste Verhöhnung ein. "Nur eine kurze Frage: Wieso bestellen Sie Quarkfüllung und essen den Kuhmilch-Joghurt, wenn Sie doch eigentlich vegan sind?!" - "Ich bin nicht strikt vegan, aber meine beiden Begleiterinnen." - Kellner dreht sich weg, schüttelt lachend den Kopf ... Wasser kam erst nach der Vorspeise, der Wein nach dem halben Hauptgang und erst auf nochmalige Nachfrage. Das Essen dieses Mal pampig (passend zum Kellner) und recht lahm gewürzt. Dazwischen eine Art lichter Moment "Sorry, manchmal ist es ein stressiger Tag" ... und direkt wieder zurück: "Wir sind ja in Berlin, da darf man etwas auflockern und ihr hockt hier ja so lahm am Tisch!". Wer nicht, wenn er so behandelt wird, auch noch als zahlender Gast. Meine beiden Freundinnen wollten eigentlich sofort wieder gehen, nur ich selbst war völlig perplex und dachte noch an einen misslungenen Scherz, weil ja mein erster Besuch ganz anders verlief. Der Service war allerdings damals schon verhuscht. Aber immerhin nicht unverschämt. Es wurde immer schräger, wir bekamen ungefragt einen "besonderen Heringssalat" aus dem Keller auf den Tisch gepackt. Ich meinte, das sei wirklich superlieb, aber wir sind ja nun mal vegan?! Heringssalat wurde beleidigt wieder weggepackt. Stattdessen wurde ein recht nerviger Weihnachtsmann auf einen leeren Tisch gestellt, der eine ganze peinliche Minute lang superlaut und blechern irgendeinen Weihnachtsschrott vor sich hin dudelte. Fand kein Gast lustig, nur der Kellner. Noch ein paar skurille Verhaltensweisen, die ich nicht weiter ausschmücken muss. Wirkte jedenfalls alles sehr verzweifelt, überfordert, verpeilt. Ich gehe wirklich sehr oft und sehr unterschiedlich essen, aber etwas Vergleichbares habe ich selten erlebt. Wir waren erstmal sprachlos über so eine Anhäufung von Absurditäten. Wollte hier eigentlich auch noch für unsere Firma buchen, aber das kommt nun natürlich nicht mehr in Frage.

Das Essen ist lecker, aber der Rest naja...

Ich bin noch hin- und hergerissen. Das Essen ist nicht ganz so gut, wie das in der Nähe leider geschlossene osteuropäische Restaurant, aber trotzdem gut. Bedauerlicherweise gab es auch nicht mehr jedes Bier. Auch der Birkensaft war alle. Zum Glück gab es Alternativen. Leider war die Bedienung mit den auf einmal erscheinenden Gästen überfordert. Zu viele Bestellungen auf einmal. Vielleicht lag es einfach nur an den Tag. Egal. Essen war gut, Restaurant verdient einen zweiten Besuch. Und ... erfolgt. Es war ein entspannter Abend. Essen war gut und auch sonst passte es. Kohlroulade und Bortsch gut. Trotzdem nicht ganz zu vergleichen mit meinem Lieblings-Osteuropäer. Schon wegen des Gerichtes "Hering im Pelzmantel". Ungeachtet dessen lohnt sich der Besuch. Die russische Küche ist sehr vielfältig. Einen Stern mehr!

Das Restaurant ist klein und unscheinbar mit einer sehr netten und nicht angespannten Stimmung. Ich fand das essen sehr lecker und authentisch. Auch der Kellner war sehr nett und hat sich erkundigt ob alles in ordnung ist etc.

Food is super delicious, you can’t miss it if you wanna try some real homemade food. The boss explained details about their special daily menu and the typical ones so that I picked the most preferred one. My friend and I spent a wonderful night here. It’s not a very giant restaurant but the decorations make everything cozy.

Sehr leckere und authentische Küche. Es schmeckt wie bei Oma. Ein kleiner Laden, unscheinbar von außen. Es ist jedoch absolut zu empfehlen reinzugehen und gutes Essen zu genießen. Besonders die Tagesgerichte sind teilweise überragend und einige Spezialitäten gibt es kaum sonst wo. Ein richtiger Geheimtipp für Freunde der russisch/deutschen Küche.

Leider ist der Service wirklich nicht gut. Wir sind reingekommen und wollten etwas essen aber wir wurden unfreundlich begrüßt und drinnen sah es wirklich nicht gemütlich aus, sodass wir gleich wieder gegangen sind.

Das Essen ist soo lecker! Auf jeden Fall mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Ein Stern Abzug weil keine Kartenzahlung, wie so oft in Berlin.

DESASTER Essen, okay lecker Bedienung, aggressiv unsachlich und völlig überfordert Getränke, Russisches Bier war aus Ambiente, klein und lieblos Der Abend oder das Erlebnis ähnelte einem Loriot Sketch. Matrjoschka und Gardinen aus Plauener Spitze, es tönt feinster Jazz. Mal auf deutsch mal auf russisch pöbelt der deplatzierte Kellner für alle hörbar über die Gäste.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind groß. Preislich finde ich es in Ordnung. Es gibt rel viel Auswahl an Speisen, auch vegetarische oder vegane Optionen. Es gibt bei gutem Wetter wenige Tische draussen und ansonsten einige drinnen. Für Berlin ist es nichts ungewöhnliches dass man nicht mit Karte zahlen kann.

Den einzigartigen Service genossen und das Essen noch viel mehr.

Der Laden ist sehr klein aber irgendwie gemütlich. Trotzdem müsste hier mal aufgeräumt werden und das ein oder andere erneuert werden. Der Service zu unserem Besuch war “stets bemüht”. Aber das reicht leider heutzutage nicht mehr. Besteck mussten wir uns selbst holen und nach der Vorspeise wurden wir gefragt ob wir nicht die benutzten Gabeln und Messer weiter benutzen können für den Hauptgang. Sowas ist leider ein no-go. Das essen war jedoch sehr gut. Hat wunderbar geschmeckt und zum größten Teil typisch russisch. Gerne hätte ich an der Stelle 4 Sterne vergeben aber es gab leider noch paar unnötige Patzer. Die Preise der Online-Speisekarte entspricht nicht den Preisen der Vor-Ort-Karte. Zum Teil sind die Preise fast doppelt so hoch! Als wir zahlen wollten war erst mal die Aussage das Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist. Dann komischerweise ging es doch, sogar zur Verwunderung der Servicekraft. Daher leider nur 3 Sterne trotz gutem Essen.

I came to this place on a Sunday evening hoping for a quick take-out order. Although I ordered the pelmeni initially, due to it being sold out and would have to be made from scratch with a wait time of 30 minutes, I ended up getting the tschebureki instead. The owner was kind enough to give me a small glass of soda while I waited and apologized to me that pelmeni were sold out as I got my order, which was very nice of him. Better yet, the tschebureki I got was seriously delicious and I would absolutely order it from this place again. In short, great food and great service and I would come back whenever I'm in the area.

Das Essen ist super, mega lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Leider ist der Service gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir waren uns teilweise unsicher, ob der Keller (Besitzer?) witzig sein will, super überheblich oder einfach unverschämt ist. Seine "frechen" Sprüche kamen nicht nur bei uns schräg an, der Ton, in dem er teilweise sprach, war grenzwertig und die Atmosphäre war unangenehm, wir wollten dann direkt nach dem Essen gehen. Lieber zum Mitnehmen bestellen :)
