The food was delicious, but we weren't impressed with the value for money. We had three courses, freely chosen from the menu. Depending on the course, they ranged in taste from good to very good. The price of a 0.75l bottle of water (€9.80) and four additional small slices of bread (€5.80) is a bit jarring. It was a nice evening, but in our opinion, the price didn't reflect the overall experience, so we wouldn't repeat.

It's great that there are still restaurants like this where the chef knows his craft and everything is made and prepared in-house. Of course, the price level is a little higher, but that's completely right. Nowadays you get pre-made products in most restaurants and you need a kitchen technician rather than a real chef. That's not the case here, even if the service is a little less professional, although everyone was very friendly and attentive, which is the most important thing. I am now grateful for restaurants like this and hope that they will be around for a long time and that the customers will appreciate that there is still someone at work here who knows their job. I also like the wine list and selection. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Nice restaurant, nice service. The food was also good. Unfortunately there was no draft beer like outside at the sign and it wasn't very heated. Prices are rather high.

Overall a nice stay. However, in my opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't that good. On the positive side: Service was always nice, cleanliness was top notch, check-in and check-out was easy, location was great, parking in front of the hotel (although quite expensive). Not so good: The room (1007). The bed and the mattresses were absolutely unworthy of a 5-star hotel - that's not acceptable. A nice box-spring bed would be a good solution here, for example. I also expect a proper wardrobe in a "superior room" and not just a coat rack with hangers. The architecture of the room was unfortunately not that great either: View to the back of the street instead of a view of the Trave. Unfortunately no windows in the sleeping area. This made the room seem quite dark and "closed". The TV could also use an upgrade. Unfortunately, I didn't think the price-performance ratio was that good due to the points mentioned. Thanks to the nice staff anyway :)

There is good food and friendly service in an old mill house. Great!

Service was very good. The food was on point, really tasty gyros soft but crispy. Fries just right, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. In addition, it wasn't too salty, which you sometimes have in the Greek restaurant Ja. Ambience was pleasant.

Even though my partner and I are repeat offenders (or precisely because of that), I would like to give an update after our most recent visit: To our regret, instead of ordering from a tray, there are again the traditional menus with friendly service. But given the friendliness of the staff, that's no reason to cheat. The food is a dream like it has been for years. Except for the pizza, we can highly recommend most of the dishes on the menu!!! The prices are very high. But the quality of the food is also good!

...it started very pleasantly: as soon as I arrived at the seat, my hands were pampered with warm, moist towels and I felt comfortable and prepared for a good meal. A lavish menu made the choice (almost) torture for me. However, this was made easier by a very tasty rosé wine - rather surprising for me as a Baden native in the far north! - which I had brought to me first. And what can I say? It just went on like this: generous and very good satay skewers as a starter, then a fine, delicious, crispy duck - which would have fed two people - and then a rose and .... The evening was pleasant, the service was attentive but not too intrusive, the ambience of the restaurant was nice and the food - of course and first of all - very, very good. Lots of stars!! If I ever end up in Lübeck again, a visit here would be an absolute must! Holger Thiemann
