Wir haben Allergien (Nüsse und Gluten). Das Personal war sehr verständnisvoll hinsichtlich des Kontaminationsrisikos und hat dafür gesorgt, dass alles perfekt war. Ich habe nichts Negatives über diesen Ort zu sagen.

Ein wunderbares Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamer Bedienung! Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, wenn wir nicht so in Eile gewesen wären, noch schnell in die Konditorei im Zentrum zu kommen! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Schade, dass wir nur einen Tag in der Stadt hatten. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen! Das Essen war köstlich! Besonders das Lamm!

Wirklich schönes Restaurant in Lybeck. Bis spät abends geöffnet.

Wir haben dieses Lokal in Lübeck nach einer mehrstündigen Anreise spontan und kurz vor Küchenschluss besucht. Trotz der späten Stunde wurden wir außerordentlich herzlich empfangen und man ermöglichte uns ohne Zögern eine vollständige Bestellung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Kinderfreundlichkeit: Auf unsere Tochter wurde sehr lieb eingegangen, und sie bekam sofort Malsachen zur Beschäftigung. Das Essen war hervorragend, das Ambiente stilvoll und gemütlich. Ein großes Lob an das extrem nette Personal.

Sehr angenehmer Service. Das Essen kam schnell und die Bedienung war freundlich und kompetent. Wir haben Bruschetta, dass war leider eher ein Tomatensalat auf Baguette. Die empfohlene Spargelkarte bestand aus zwei Gerichten mit grünem Spargel.

Da ich auf Grund meiner über 46 Jahre an weltweiten Erfahrungen noch nie ein solch Erlebnis hatte , ist diese Rezension unumgänglich. Das LaBaracca besticht durch das Design. Ich genoss den Wein und den genialen Lammrücken und bezahlte mit Bargeld inklusive Trinkgeld. Auf den Weg zum Radisson Blu Senator Hotel wurde ich vom Personal zurückgerufen ! Angeblich war meine bezahlte Rechnung noch nicht im Buchungsprozess sichtbar. Da zu dem Zeitpunkt das Restaurant ein hohes Gästeaufkommen hatte, war diese Situation für mich mehr als unangenehm !!! Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel hätte ich solch Makel nicht erwartet !

Alles ist frisch zubereitet, sogar der Kaffee. Das Personal ist morgens einfach spitze – freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe die letzten drei Wochen jeden Morgen hier gefrühstückt. Das spricht für sich! Schauen Sie sich meine Fotos an. Das Restaurant ist riesig und bietet viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten, bei denen man sanfter italienischer Musik lauschen kann. Ich war am Donnerstag dort. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte schienen in Ordnung – für jemanden wie mich, der etwas kräftiger gebaut ist, war die Portion wahrscheinlich etwas zu klein. Aber dann sah ich die Pizza meiner Freundin und hatte Glück. Für dieses dünne, flammende Ding, das sie Pizza nennen, bin ich froh, dass ich nicht 17–19 Euro dafür bezahlt habe. Ich hätte zwei gebraucht! Mein Essen hat aber trotzdem gut geschmeckt. Ich hatte Tagliatelle mit Trüffel und extra Scampi. Sie hatten etwas echten schwarzen Trüffel daraufgetan und Pasta mit einer Parmesan-Sahnesauce serviert. Es war also sehr lecker. Der Kirsch-Bananen-Saft schmeckte mehr nach Kirsche als nach Banane … Aber gut, wir sind ja schließlich wegen des Essens da, oder? :) Der Service war freundlich. Das Ambiente war okay, obwohl mein Stuhl kaputt und wackelig war und auch für kräftigere Beine nicht geeignet. Ich habe jetzt blaue Flecken an den Beinen. 4/5 – Ich würde wiederkommen. Das Essen hat insgesamt gut geschmeckt und alle waren mit dem Geschmack zufrieden, nicht mit den Portionen. AHH, und die Antipasti waren fantastisch. Die eingelegten Zwiebeln und die Nüsse waren köstlich!

Yes, the plates were nicely presented, but the portions were quite small. The pizza was more like a tarte flambée with very little topping. At €19.50 with ham, I felt it was expensive.

An upscale Italian restaurant. If you're used to more moderate portion sizes, you shouldn't skip the appetizer. The food was tasty, but it didn't exactly blow me away; however, tastes vary. The menu is also quite concise. The staff is very attentive.

The city of Lübeck already has its own charm, but this restaurant enhances it even more. We tried the pasta and it was delicious: al dente, with a balanced and flavorful sauce—the kind that isn't cloying, but rather invites you to continue eating leisurely while chatting. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and pleasant; it feels like a little haven within the city. The staff was attentive at all times, friendly without being intrusive, always attentive but natural. It's a pleasure to find places like this: where you eat well, feel comfortable, and enjoy the moment. Without a doubt, a place to return to on our next visit to Lübeck. 🍝✨

When we went there, on Sunday at 10:00, they were not working and door was locked. Shame.

We went there for an early dinner. The service was friendly and relaxed. The food was interesting and very tasty, from appetizers to dessert. The ambiance was very tasteful and cozy, with good acoustics that encouraged relaxed conversation.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at LaBaracca in Lübeck on September 20, 2025. Everything was perfect: the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the friendliness of the staff. A restaurant that comes highly recommended: no crowds, no noise, and a well-timed sequence of each delicious course. We didn't feel rushed. It was simply lovely. We'd be happy to return! Conveniently located if you're staying near the train station. The service is very courteous and attentive; the food is tasty and appetizingly presented (delicious carbonara; the pizza is a pizza Romana – thin and crispy, similar to a tarte flambée, but delicious); the price-performance ratio is also good (€70 for three people, one starter, and four drinks). Only the restaurant's sophisticated, unfancy exterior somewhat dampens the impression. Overall, a definite recommendation.

The atmosphere here is fantastic. I didn't feel like I was in a traditional restaurant at all. In terms of atmosphere and ambiance, it's the best restaurant I've ever been to! So relaxed, with a very spacious interior and a fireplace. The food was also very fresh and delicious. Top-notch!

I had the Maccheronchini al Manzo, The pasta was overcooked and the dish was too watery. The gravy/dark sauce was too salty, on top of that the dried tomatoes were unfortunately incredibly salty as well. Service was great, unfortunate of the food. Ice cream was fine, nothing special.

It was very tasty, I ordered carbonara with bacon, although it was mostly fat and not bacon, but otherwise everything looks delicious and appetizing. I recommend it.

The hotel's interior is very spacious and beautiful, and in the summer there's also a large terrace overlooking the water and greenery. The service is fast and friendly, multilingual, and unobtrusively polite. Requests are attended to immediately, which is a pleasure. The food is significantly better than that of average Italian restaurants and surprisingly affordable. Many recipes seem familiar, but often have a special twist, as the chef has come up with something extra to turn a normal meal into something special.

Very, very delicious food, served by exceptionally attentive staff. The pizza isn't quite as high as the standard, but that's not bad. We had the lamb and linguine (and the pizza), as well as various appetizers...all truly delicious. The aperitifs were also superb.

Phew, this was disappointing! We were tired, this was close to our hotel and the reviews were positive. But we are probably from a different target group. Service was friendly, as was the decor. But wine €10.00 per glass (0.2) or €34.00 per bottle? We ordered the bistecca and the filetto vitello, both from the grill. Upon arrival I already smelled a strange odor on the meat. Vitello was okay, but the garnish, a yellow cherry tomato, was clearly out of date. The bistecca had little flavor and was strangely elastic and with a fatty edge. Next to it were two pieces of bread with tomato, the bruschetta. The side dishes (4.50 p.s.): rosemary potatoes and mixed salad were reasonable. Around us were elderly people who were staying in the hotel. In short: not our dream evening to go out for a nice meal.

Wir haben nach langer Fahrt noch etwas zu essen bestellt, Tagliatelle con Tartufo und Pizza. Die Tagliatelle waren nicht essbar, verpappt und geschmacklich absolut daneben. Die Pizza ähnelte einem Flammkuchen, der Teig weich. Insgesamt eine Zumutung. Die freundliche Bedienung teilte unsere Meinung und hat wenigstens die Tagliatelle nicht berechnet. Nie wieder! Empfehle Kochschule dringend!

We have enjoyed coming to LaBaracca for years and would like to recommend this restaurant without reservation! Whether in a larger company or in a smaller group - we have always enjoyed excellent gastronomic quality, as well as the unique view of the Lübeck Holstentor and the salt warehouses, for example in the fireplace room... the pleasant, quiet ambience and the always friendly team make every visit a special experience, for which we would like to thank you very much and look forward to the next time!

Even though my partner and I are repeat offenders (or precisely because of that), I would like to give an update after our most recent visit: To our regret, instead of ordering from a tray, there are again the traditional menus with friendly service. But given the friendliness of the staff, that's no reason to cheat. The food is a dream like it has been for years. Except for the pizza, we can highly recommend most of the dishes on the menu!!! The prices are very high. But the quality of the food is also good!

Visited this restaurant for dinner instead of in the city center. Very nice reception. The food was very good. The portions were medium sized. But since I like to eat with a starter, that was more than enough. I had to wait a while for my pasta, so I was treated to a small beer by the head waiter. Very tasty bread to start with too. I was very satisfied.

I'm currently a guest at the Park Inn to which the restaurant is attached and thought I'd quickly grab a plate of pasta. Ambiance is good, service is also good up to criticism. I had ravioli with walnuts. The food came in a bowl the size of a rice bowl. There were 5 ravioli, 5 walnuts and a little pesto for 15 euros. Eaten up in 1 1/2 minutes and was no less hungry than before. I wasn't asked if everything was ok before paying. Paid and asked as I was leaving if it was a main course or if I had made a mistake. Answer: Main course and I should accept that now because I asked for side dishes or could have ordered them😂 There is no mention of small portions on the menu, and what side dish other than bread (dry, it was included) should you order with pasta. No recommendation for people who want to be even remotely full from the food, unless they order an estimated 15 courses, absolutely not recommended from my side. Criticism was accepted 0.

My family and I went to this restaurant for dinner while visiting the city of Lübeck. The interior design of the place is amazing, and it has a great ambiance. The service was on top-notch. The servers were very accommodating and friendly. I even had a nice chat with the manager. She is truly amazing. As for the food, it was all appetizing, but I gave 4 stars because of the pizza we ordered. My husband and I ordered the Pizza Diavola since we were craving something spicy, but unfortunately, we didn't taste any spiciness on it. We normally ask how spicy the food is, but this time, we did not.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and then ate there in the evening. What can I say, I can only recommend it, it was excellent. From the food to the staff, everything was great!!!!!!

We were too tired to go into town (as guests at the Park Inn) and we didn't regret it at all. Despite reading reviews here, we were still pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything is great. Despite ordering via pad, the people in service were present, friendly and very attentive! Everything was fine and there was a nice, real fire burning in the fireplace!

The place is spacious and very nice but let's say the food is worth eating but it's not that great. Simply great! I came back with my family after a business trip (over 800km). It's really great. Digital menu... You won't find such relaxed dining anywhere else. Top quality, super nice staff, .... if you could give 6 stars, we would. Definitely not an off-the-shelf restaurant. Good cocktails, delicious food in one of the most beautiful German cities. Unfortunately, it was far from fresh Italian cuisine - our guess was that the chef on duty had never been to Italy. The service was pleasant, helpful and fast, especially when they were still working the bar. What really bothered us were the tablets that got in the way on the table while eating - six useless pieces on the table - there was no place for a pastry plate, no place for a small salad to eat, no place to place a cooler for wine. I understand that tablets for ordering save the number of people at the "plaza" and eliminate language mistakes by guests and staff, but the restaurant should still be primarily about food and dining - being modern is fine, but it is not by chance that the waiter in the restaurant takes away the printed menu and again he will return with it for desserts…

My partner and I stayed at the park inn by raddlisson in Lubeck and had opportunity to have both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant , the breakfast spread is really good with a massive selection catering to all patrons , staff are freindly and attentive and the chefs keep an eye on the selections and refresh regularly so there is always a lot on offer even during a busy period there is more than enough for everyone, evening service is somewhat different with the having to order with Tablets but once explained it is easy to do details of dishes are there and there is a great selection , Food is delivered swiftly but everyone needs to order together or there is some staggered service, No biggie, Food is really nice and atmosphere is great , sit inside or outside ( on a balmy evening ) ,

Full 5 stars. Compared to the other Italian restaurants, a great and not so old-fashioned atmosphere, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The number of dishes on offer is not as extensive as in other restaurants, but the quality and taste is superior. The dishes look and taste just like I know them from Italy. At other Italians you tend to get the Germanized versions. I wasn't familiar with ordering with a tablet at the table before, but it's something different. Conclusion: We will definitely be back.

Ambiance was okay. I think ordering from a tray is great. Service was friendly... the starter, the carpaccio, was very tasty, but a very small portion for just under €16. Everyone else at our table had already had their main course and mine came last when the others had already finished eating. The “pizza” I ordered… I was very disappointed as it was more of a thin, small tarte flambée. The taste was ok, but €16 was already a high price when I would have expected more. I wouldn't come here again.

We only drank one coke because it was cheapest for 3.50, but only a 0.2 sip.
