Breakfast is negligible. Rolls are a disgrace, taste like they are two days old. Toppings such as sausage, cheese, etc. Okay, but nothing of high quality.
However, the prices, no matter what you order, are very “high quality”. Service is hard...

This is a magical place with beautiful nature experiences and excellent food! In my case there was a lamb tagine. The meat was tender and the sauce was delicious. Two meters away, under the same roof, a blackbird was feeding its young, and the live Easter bunny also briefly hopped past.
Afterwards we sat by the perfect fire with atmospheric lighting!!
An unforgettable evening!
Waited 30 minutes in front of the open but unoccupied stand. Apparently there is a massive shortage of staff or there is simply no interest in selling anything...

The food was good overall. However, the fish soup was too salty, same with the puree in the cauliflower main dish. Presentation and the quality of the dishes are of high standard. Also the service was a bit slower than normal, considering the restaurant was not busy.
Actually a very nice place, but the service wasn't great. After a long wait, the other guests were served first, but they gave me a table first. I had an Italian from the menu, a cappuccino, and chocolate croissants for €6.50, but they charged me €7.
I didn't object, but it was the same last year. It's a shame.

But I was more than disappointed with the food! I had ordered a rump steak for 29 euros. I had ordered the steak medium, but it arrived well done and hard. I then complained. Then another piece of meat was served more or less medium done. Unfortunately, it was still tough and dry. The size of the steak was quite small in both cases. The butter did not seem fresh, but tasted like it had been stored for a long time. Unfortunately, it was not a rump steak either, but a simple sirloin steak of poor quality, which can quickly become dry. The thin potato pancakes from the deep fryer were also dry and hard, the kind you can buy for little money at a discount store and then be annoyed about your purchase. They tasted of nothing. The salad was OK. A huge disappointment for the still high price of 29 euros! The chef needs to practice more or the quality of the product must be much better. The only good thing about the visit was the beautiful view of the fjord.
I will not visit this restaurant again.
It is actually absurd that they advertise a celebrity chef and then serve such disappointing food.
Wir waren gestern im Café Kontor und haben uns die Mandarinen-Quark- und die Schoko-Pfirsich-Torte schmecken lassen … diese Torten und auch andere Torten die wir dort schon gegessen haben, sind sehr lecker, frisch und mit Liebe gebacken. Die Stücke sind groß und der Preis ist ok. Tee wird in einem schönen Kännchen serviert mit allem was dazu gehört!!! Auch der Kaffee schmeckt gut 👍
