Waited 30 minutes in front of the open but unoccupied stand. Apparently there is a massive shortage of staff or there is simply no interest in selling anything... Too bad.

The food wasn't good at all: the fries tasted like old oil and weren't eaten, the Turkish pizza unfortunately had the wrong ingredients that weren't ordered and there was far too much meat on it, s.d. we couldn't finish it. I was extremely thirsty at night, which woke me up twice. And all of this for a rather high price. Unfortunately we will never buy here again.

An actually very nice hotel. The SPA area and sauna master Rudi are to be praised. He is extremely competent, nice and responds very well to the guests. A real role model. The kitchen team is very committed. With half board there is a buffet in the morning and evening. The food is of good to very good quality, is always fresh and has a good selection and quantity. It is regularly topped up and checked. However, the gastronomic concept and the management of the restaurant are unreasonable. Although there are “actually” no fixed seats, some of the tables are specifically reserved for families. The result is that there are far too few places for half-board guests who have to look for a table. In some cases, guests have to sit outside (with jackets) or in a distant adjoining room. There are not enough service staff to provide adequate service in this category. You sometimes have to organize your own glasses, salt and pepper and cutlery. A properly set table is more likely to happen by chance. Used plates are only slowly cleared away. It takes forever to order drinks. The waiters are friendly and committed, but unfortunately completely overloaded. When asked, the waiters admitted that they were understaffed. On the day of departure, despite having made a reservation by 11:00 a.m., we were asked out of the room by the cleaning staff at exactly 10:00 a.m. Our objective criticism was responded to either indifferently (reception) or snippy (reception in the restaurant). All in all, it's a shame. With better organization, personnel planning and management, the hotel's demands could actually be met... EDIT to the feedback from A-Rosa: What exceptional situation? We just wanted a seat in the (!!) restaurant (and not anywhere else), service that was reasonable for the price and not to be chased out of the room. In good hotels, these are not demands that lead to an “exceptional situation”…… However, the feedback matches the reaction of the staff on site. Whether the guest liked it doesn't seem to matter. Sad…..

Friendly people behind the counter here, if you want a kebab or something similar you can't go wrong here

The colleagues behind the counter were super friendly and also responded to special requests, which I found to be very correct. Price/performance is also very good. So you can recommend it 👍

Delicious food at a good price, the service is very friendly, and you immediately feel very welcome. We'll be happy to come back next time we visit Travemünde.
