Milloncino in Grömitz

Really nice location, very cozy outside even in October. We really liked it here. We are already looking forward to our next visit in December. See you soon😉

Culinary enjoyment with a fantastic view over Grömitz – the Milloncino is a must! We were completely impressed by the Milloncino and for us it is one of the absolute highlights in Grömitz! Not only is the food excellent, but also the ambience and the breathtaking view from the upper floor make the visit a real experience. Breathtaking view: If you visit the Milloncino, you should definitely secure a place on the upper floor. The view from there over Grömitz and the Baltic Sea is simply fantastic - especially at sunset, when the colors of the sky and the sea shine in warm light. You can look across the beach promenade to the horizon and admire the beautiful coastline. It almost feels like you are experiencing the heart of Grömitz from above in the middle of your vacation. Culinary: The menu offers a delicious selection of Mediterranean dishes, all made with fresh, high quality ingredients. From perfectly prepared pasta dishes to crispy pizzas and fine antipasti – every dish was a delight! The pizzas have this wonderfully thin, crispy base, and the pasta is simply outstanding. The fish dishes are particularly recommended if you love fresh and authentic flavors. Atmosphere and service: The Milloncino impresses with its modern, stylish ambience, which is still cozy and inviting. The service is exceptional – friendly, attentive and always with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The team seems to place great emphasis on hospitality and that makes the visit even more pleasant. Value for money: The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality offered and the special ambience. You get excellent value for money, which makes every visit worthwhile. Conclusion: The Milloncino is a real insider tip in Grömitz and perfect for a special evening. The combination of delicious food, great service and the unparalleled view from the upper floor makes this restaurant unique. We can recommend it to anyone who is looking for an exceptional restaurant in Grömitz. We will definitely come back – just for the fantastic view!

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I expected more from an Italian restaurant.

A very nice place to stay, drink, eat and enjoy. The service is pleasant and very quick. The menu offers both classics and something different. For example, we had arancini. Where can you get that in Germany? Everything tasted wonderful. The pasta portions are huge. Thank you for the lovely evening. Edit October 24, 2024: We were here again today. Although the interior of the restaurant was not yet open, we were warmly welcomed and an exception was made. We were allowed to sit alone in the large room with our baby and feast. We ordered from the autumn pumpkin menu and everything tasted delicious again. The pumpkin pasta was brilliant for my wife and the potato pizza with Hokkaido and basil cream was also wonderful for me. Thanks! Of course we'll be back.

We ate at Milloncino! What can you say now?! Simply great! And super delicious! It is also clear that you pay 2-3€ more here, but you have a great view, especially at the top of the Ferris wheel. The waiters come often and ask if everything is good and even give advice about the food. So we were very happy here. The pizza is a blast, made with potato flour. You have to try it

Schöne Location direkt am Strand, am Ende der Fussgängerzone. Wir wurden auch sehr freundlich Empfangen. Essen war gut bis sehr gutleider mit relativ langer Wartezeit. Service war ungenügend: Hauptgang wurde bei einer Person vergessen (Keine Entschuldigung) noch schwieriger war es zu bezahlen. ( 20 min Wartezeit bei halbvollem Lokal)

It was very tasty. It was very full that evening and we had to wait an hour for the food. The children were very restless but they mastered it very well. Service was great. Pizza was super tasty

We became aware of the restaurant through the dog beach and ordered something to take away the day before. It's great to sit on site, it's lovingly prepared and the food was delicious. I think there is something for everyone here and we were able to take our dog with us too.

We would like to thank the entire team for the delicious food, the good service and the great time with you in the mega cool ambience right by the sea. We tried everything from pizza to herb risotto with shrimp, tuna steak and saffron fish fillet. Everything was delicious and the basil spritz was also new for us - thanks to the boss for the recipe ;-) We had a lovely evening with you and would love to come back.

Nice Italian restaurant on the promenade in Grömitz with a view of the Baltic Sea! A potato pizza is recommended. Richly topped and really very tasty.

Had dinner here today with our 3 dogs. Since we only wanted to have a coffee, we had to change tables. The waiter kindly moved a few chairs away so that my dogs had enough space. Food was super tasty, staff super friendly. Ambiance is harmonious. We will definitely come back.

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately the service was non-existent. After waiting 10 minutes to pay, people complained about the tip and saw it as an insult. If you have to go to the counter several times to order something, complaining about the tip is not justified

When we are in Grömitz, a visit to Milloncino is always a must. The food is great, the staff is super friendly and there is a wonderful view. No matter whether you sit inside or outside. No problem with a dog either, which is great given the location right on the dog beach.

Baltic Sea in flames, a really great experience and for children too. The only downside is that if you want to leave after the fireworks, the streets are all clogged immediately afterwards. Around 50,000 people will then be out and about in Grömitz....

Wow wow wow... you order two portions of fries... and what do you get... the best fries made from fresh potatoes that I have ever eaten... simply amazing... great respect

We were very satisfied. Warm, funny welcome. Good food, served without a long wait. Price/performance is definitely right. And you can also have a nice drink or eat some very good ice cream on the sun terrace. If we come back to Grömitz, we'll come back to Milloncino.

Hatten ein Burger mit Pommes für 19,20€ bestellt! Bei dem Preis erwartet man schon einen besonderen Burger. Als der kam war man schon enttäuscht. Es fehlte der Ruccola Salat, stattdessen waren Gewürzgurken drin! Allgemein war der Bürger sehr dürftig! Als ich die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen habe, würde mir vorgeworfen, warum ich das nicht gleich gesagt hätte! Keine Entschuldigung, nicht mal ein Schnaps auf Haus oder ähnliches! Na ja, das Verhalten war gastronomisch gesehen sehr unprofessionell! Mich sehen die da nicht wieder....

Wonderful location at the end of the beach promenade. With good music you can enjoy the view of the sea. The grilled vegetables were fantastic. Likewise the mushroom risotto. Prepared with perfect precision: very well seasoned with the right amount of spiciness without being spicy. Vegetables and rice cooked to perfection. The service is very nice and attentive. And due to the proximity to the dog beach, four-legged friends are friendly, tolerated guests and are all very well behaved. The relaxed atmosphere rubs off on everyone. Definitely recommended if you want to eat well in Grömitz.

Da nutzt leider das schönste Ambiente nichts! Da die Kritiken des Miloncino ganz gut waren (WARUM?) wollte ich eine Arbeitskollegin zum Abendessen einladen. Innen war der Laden fast leer, außen waren auch noch Plätze frei. Nachdem nach 4 Versuchen, telefonisch zu reservieren, niemand ans Telefon ging, waren wir froh, einen schönen Platz zu finden. Eine Kellnerin, die nach 10 Minuten endlich auftauchte, die uns mit Nichtachtung strafte, die ich aber ansprach und um Karten und Getränkeaufnahme bat, kam nie wieder. Ich ging also selbst zur Bar, um Karten zu holen. Dort beschwerte sich lautstark eine Dame, kein Hauptgericht erhalten zu haben. Auf dem Rückweg ging eine weitere Dame schimpfend davon und sagte zu ihrem Kind: "hier gehen wir nie wieder her!". Nach weiteren 10 Minuten kam wieder kein Mensch in den Außenbereich. Das Pärchen am Nachbartisch riet uns, schleunigst woanders hinzugehen, man warte seit 100 Minuten auf das Essen. Wir sind dann zu Falkenthal gegangen. Mussten zwar 10 Minuten auf einen Tisch warten, aber danach ging alles gewohnt schnell in gewohnt guter Qualität. Ein derart schlechter und schlechtgelaunter Service bei halbleerem Laden ist mir so schon lange nicht mehr untergekommen. Uns sieht man dort auch bestimmt nicht noch einmal.

Salt pasta. The waitress had to be spoken to, we were asked if we wanted drinks, but empty glasses were never cleared away, our two tables were full of empty food and therefore uncomfortable. The store wasn't full, would have liked better service.

Unfortunately, even the most beautiful ambience is of no use! Since the Miloncino's reviews were quite good (WHY?), I wanted to invite a work colleague to dinner. The shop was almost empty inside, but there were still spaces available outside. After no one answered the phone after 4 attempts to make a reservation by phone, we were happy to find a nice spot. A waitress who finally showed up after 10 minutes, who treated us with disrespect, but whom I spoke to and asked for cards and a drink, never came back. So I went to the bar myself to get tickets. A lady there complained loudly that she hadn't received a main course. On the way back another lady walked away complaining and said to her child: "We'll never go here again!". After another 10 minutes no one came outside again. The couple at the next table advised us to go somewhere else as quickly as possible because we had been waiting for the food for 100 minutes. We then went to Falkenthal. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but after that everything went as quickly as usual and with the usual good quality. I haven't experienced such poor and bad-tempered service in a half-empty store for a long time. You definitely won't see us there again.

It was our 50th wedding anniversary today and we got a nice table in the restaurant with a view of the sea 🌊 👍 The food tasted delicious 😋 The service staff was very friendly and attentive. Our dog 🐕 even got a treat, which made us very happy. We were thrilled and would love to come back 💞

Nice location with good food and drinks

The food was good, without any compromises. Unfortunately, the service and kitchen could hardly cope with the onslaught of guests on a sunny Saturday evening. I'll be back, but at a less busy time.

Unfortunately: Chaotic service, only one person with a tablet taking orders, an overwhelmed young man clearing up. Without a card we were asked what we wanted to order, after the drinks came we waited 35 minutes and then had to go in to let them know that we wanted to order. 75 minutes later the food finally arrived. The pizzas were really good. Paying… Waited 25 minutes, my husband then went back in to pay. Many around us got up without ordering. Too bad!

Today we went to Milloncino for dinner as a family. The restaurant was very well attended, modernly furnished, located right on the promenade and the food was good, but the ladies' sanitary area was really dirty (overfilled trash can for the paper towels and it smelled unpleasant because someone seemed to be using one toilet didn't quite understand). It was a nice evening, but we have also been to restaurants that are more child- and dog-friendly.

We were there for the second time last night and were totally appalled by the behavior of the staff. 1. we had to wait over an hour for our food then half of it was missing... the drinks only came after 40 minutes and then only two drinks instead of four... 2. we then asked where the one dish was left and what was left was missing after what felt like 20 minutes then I came to take a look and then the waitress came with the food and said cheekily that the food has no legs and has to be brought in. We found it impossible.. then the pasta was cold, the pizza was floating in oil and The chicken breast was really thick on the pizza.. the schnitzel was missing the dip so everything was really unpleasant.. then the big thing was we wanted to pay.. 174€ so that's not exactly a small amount.. and then my husband wanted to give the waiter a tip But that wasn't enough for him.. he gave it back and said that so much would go into the kitchen and then here and there.. either you give a good tip or just nothing at all, lucky I get my wages like that here We were then allowed to listen to the impossible.. We paid quite a bit for a meal that wasn't great and employees were rude, but we still gave tips, which I don't think is a must.. and then to hear something like that is unbelievable! Never again..

I didn't expect that from Grömitz. Super delicious, high quality food at reasonable prices. Not the 0815 that exists everywhere else on the beach Had the great burger and the noodles with chanterelles and beef. Greatly seasoned and cooked to perfection! We'll be back

Great location with direct views of the beach. Nice service, unfortunately we couldn't eat anything there because there was nothing gluten-free. But the food on the next tables looked good. Update 8/28/24, this year there was something gluten free for my wife. The food (mushroom risotto) was very good.

I've been there often and this time I was super disappointed. Had ordered fish. Came to the table cold. Then I let them know and the waitress was super friendly and took it away. A few minutes later the fish came back. Warmer in the middle than before but the rest is still cold. Very disappointing as I really enjoy eating fish. When asked, the waitress told her how it was. No response from you or the owner. What a shame... Otherwise I can only say good things about the Millonocino. Great location, nice staff who always try to make our guests happy. Quickly bring a bowl of fresh water for our dog...

Excellent restaurant on the beach promenade with both indoor and outdoor dining. Both starters and main courses are highly priced but in good condition. No "heat-up-fry-self-order" like most catering establishments along the promenade. Operation in order. Recommended.

Direct beach location. Something for everyone

Nachdem uns der erste Besuch ganz gut gefallen hatte, haben wir ein paar Wochen später mit Freunden erneut dort einen Abend verbracht. Leider ein totaler Reinfall. Auf einer Pizza fanden wir zwei Fischgräten!!! Wie bitte kommen die dort hin? Die Pasta mit Pfifferlingen wurde zum vollen Preis berechnet, obwohl wir die Rinderfiletspitzen abbestellt hatten. Nein, wir wurden nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass der Preis gleich bleibt und nein, es waren dafür auch nicht mehr Pfifferlinge im Essen. Damit wollte uns die sehr nette Bedienung beruhigen, da ein Kollege die Essensbestellung aufgenommen hatte. Leider reicht der nette Service nicht für ein Wiederkommen.

It was perfect all around! We, a family of four, had dinner there today, the risotto was divine! The children's menus also tasted great. Price, performance 1A! Atmosphere with a great view.

Super nice restaurant on the beach in Grömitz. We've already eaten there twice while on vacation. And we were always impressed by the freshness and taste of the dishes. Big compliments to the chef! But the service doesn't need to be hidden from view either, great customer service and friendly waitresses round off a relaxing evening with delicious drinks... the view shouldn't be neglected either. Depending on the table you have a beautiful view of the sea. Price performance is top! We'd love to come back. If you had to make a suggestion for improvement, it would be small fans at the bistro to improve the air circulation a little. But that's complaining at a very high level 😉

The Milloncino looks great from the outside, but the interior surpasses everything. In my opinion, there is no better way to present the north from a “classic-modern” perspective. The drinks came quickly and the food was freshly prepared and served promptly. A really nice experience, which justifies the slightly higher prices (not bad). The very last impression was somewhat clouded by the service employee, as he apparently felt that a tip of 5 euros for a total of 160 euros consumed (4 adults, 4 children) was too small and communicated this accordingly... Anyway, we would still go to Milloncino again and again 😀

Expensive restaurant. Ambience.....well so-so....food looked good. But...we were sitting on the toilet 30 minutes later...We had different dishes. So there must have been something wrong with the food. Used old grease...or something else. So we can't necessarily recommend it. It's cheaper somewhere else and the food stays in there.

We spent our wedding anniversary here. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and were able to choose a table. It was nice and quiet inside and very comfortable. The food was great. The salmon noodles were made with a lot of fish. We would love to come back!
