Were here again for a long time and also for the last time. The pan fish was very manageable 2 small pieces of fish and the salmon was also cooked too long. The bruschetta was swimming in a sauce. When we had finished the starter, the main course was already there, and after a short time the fried potatoes from the panfish were cold. In the case of the kale platter, the belly meat was just fat and the neck was sliced ​​quite thickly. It's a shame it used to be very good there.

We came to the restaurant and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere 😍. The staff is not intrusive but very attentive. The food is worth every star 🌟. Don't be afraid of the chef's creations. Simply delicious. We would love to come back.

For us the best restaurant in Grömitz so far. Vegetarians and vegans also get their money's worth. Fish and meat dishes also tasted good.

Wir sind erst gar nicht herein gekommen.Wir haben uns vor der Tür die ausgehängte Speisekarte angesehen und wurden von dem äußerst unfreundlichem Personal dort weg geschickt.Es wäre ihr Laufweg....dort können wir nicht stehen....wir sollen woanders hingehen.....besten Dank.Das lassen wir uns nicht zweimal sagen und sind woanders Essen gegangen.Das haben wir nicht nötig.

Come in once for a coffee and then again later for dinner. It looks very good, smells delicious and seems to be good value for money. The second visit was for dinner and everything was great. Delicious.

There was space on the terrace. We were seen but ignored. Minutes passed. 12 minutes before service ended on the terrace, the waitress was no longer willing to serve us two beers. No regrets, no offer, feel free to come in. It's a shame, we're now taking our money somewhere else.

We were there today after a long day and were lucky to get the last available table. We were well served and the Viking platter for two people was a veritable feast, the grog was pleasantly stiff and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed.

We recently visited the restaurant based on the good reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. Although the food was attractively presented, the quality could not justify the high price. The mashed potatoes had only been warmed up in the microwave and were already dried out in some places. The service was quick, but rather cool. There was an allergen card, but when I asked a question about allergens I only got the unhelpful answer: "I'm not making the card." Overall, an average experience where the price-performance and service still have room for improvement. We wouldn't go there again.

Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The panfish is particularly recommended. Watch out for fish & chips. There are no fries (chips) here, just potato salad. Tasty, but doesn't match the name.

The Klabautermann is a restaurant with great charm, a great ambience (view of the Baltic Sea) and very friendly service. The food tastes really good and the price/performance ratio is right here. I would recommend this restaurant at any time and would come here again.

The two of us sat down on the covered terrace with our sleeping baby in the stroller and were escorted out again after a few minutes with an unfriendly "I'm closing here, it's raining." Subsequent guests immediately received a seat cushion and the menu. To our astonished questions we repeatedly received the very impatient, unfriendly answer "I'm closing, it's raining". Apparently we weren't wanted. We certainly won't see this restaurant again either.

Today we were there for the first time. Ambience and service were solid, service was friendly, flair with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. We took the Viking platter for two people and were pretty impressed with the mixture of cod plaice and salmon, with fried potatoes, spinach and vegetables in tomato sauce. As a little highlight, two shrimp skewers on top. With everything cleaned up, we were full. Conclusion 👍 and recommended. Happy to come back 😊.

We had a great time when the concerts were on the beach. Went to Klabautermann every day. Just with the waitress Claudia, that was awesome. She was in a great mood, very nice and responded to the guests' wishes. We laughed a lot. Service like this should happen more often. Very open, funny and with a lot of heart. We are already looking forward to the end of August. And hope we see Claudia again!

I ordered Labskaus and it was so dry that it was already crumbly.

The Klabautermann Restaurant on the promenade in Grömitz scores with a very nice location, right in the middle of the action. The service was friendly, but seemed a bit stressed. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us compared to other restaurants in the area, even though the prices are in a similar range. For us it was therefore a unique visit.

Excellent food in a top location directly on the beach promenade and opposite the pier. Very tasty fish platter with salmon, shrimp, plaice, cod, spinach and fried vegetables. We also ordered very good gnocchi. The schnitzel with fries and hollandaise sauce was also very good. Overall, the portions were large and sufficient. The prices are borderline high, but the food is really good and of course you also pay for the location. The service was very friendly (except for one slightly older employee who was a bit cold). We would love to come back.

I ordered fish and chips without actually reading the menu, what I got was fish and a mediocre potato salad. I made the waitress aware that this contraveens the trade description, her response was that the chef had already been made aware of this in the past ....... I didn't get my chips so this was the first and last time for us at this restaurant.

Gute Lage , direkt an der Strandpromenade. Essen nicht zu empfehlen !! Ich hatte den Tages Tipp : Nudeln in Sahne Sauce mit Hähnchen . Das Hähnchenfleisch war von einer unbeschreiblichen Konsistenz , wie Gummi ist noch untertrieben / einfach nur ekelhaft 🤢 Habe das Essen zurückgehen lassen . Auf Nachfrage was die Küche dazu gesagt hat , kam nur die Ausrede , wir haben den Tages Tipp heute mehrfach verkauft , das höhnchenfilet wurde frisch aufgeschnitten … Beim bezahlen war der mir als Entschädigung ein Cappuccino angeboten … Mir war nach dem Essen noch 2 Tage schlecht

I was then greeted with the following words. .... Next time please do so from the main entrance! Keep it up Klabautermann... We've been to you several times before, but we're not used to this kind of thing and won't try it through the main entrance next time either.

Wir hatten kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Klabautermann zu besuchen, und wir können mit Überzeugung sagen, dass es eine kulinarische Erfahrung war, die wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende ausgezeichnet. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, aufmerksam und gut informiert über die Speisekarte. Nun zum Herzstück des Abends - das Essen. Ich entschied mich für das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Sauce Hollandaise. Das Schnitzel war perfekt paniert und goldbraun gebraten – außen knusprig und innen zart. Die Portion war großzügig und mehr als ausreichend. Die Bratkartoffeln waren knusprig und aromatisch, mit einer feinen Kräuternote, die dem Gericht eine besondere Frische verlieh. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen für die Qualität der Speisen und die großzügigen Portionen. Hier bekommt man ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das liebevoll zubereitete Essen, der freundliche Service und das gemütliche Ambiente machen den Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen und weitere Gerichte auszuprobieren!

The three of us had lunch there. The dishes came quickly as ordered. Fish dish great, children's plate okay but the Jägerschnitzel was bathed in a boring ready-made sauce.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant because of the not tasty food. That means the schnitzel was made in the deep fryer and the vegetables in the cabin pans were floating in fat. After the service person was asked about it, she discussed it and we noticed the lack of friendliness. It is clear to us that this restaurant is not recommended. In addition, the price-performance ratio is in no way consistent.

The Viking platter for 2 people was really great. One of the best fish plates I've ever eaten. And there is plenty of it. Absolute recommendation!

The Klabautermann is not recommended

Spontaneous visit on a Saturday lunchtime. After a short wait, we got a nice spot in the shade with a view of the Baltic Sea and promenade. The food was excellent, Holsteiner schnitzel and plaice with fried potatoes were eaten. We really enjoyed it. The service was also quick and took great care of its guests. Price and performance absolutely fine! We'd love to come back.

We were there 3 weeks ago, everything was very good, unfortunately the salmon with goat cheese, vegetables and rosemary potatoes were all in one pan and as a result the potatoes (were underneath the vegetables and fish) were greasy. I wish the potatoes had been served in a special bowl then 1.5 weeks later the food prices were increased, e.g. Robber's Pan was previously 21.50 euros and now 24 euros!! 3 of us ate zander fillet, this time 29 euros BUT in the deep plate there were 6 gnocchi, 4 cocktail tomatoes and a small, very thin piece of zander, we tested it 4 tablespoons of fish hungry and was very disappointed this last visit. We won't be staying there anymore, we've been coming to Grömitz for 35 years and always eat in the Strandhalle and later in the Klabautermann (they belong together). It's a shame that we were so damaged this year.

Right on the promenade, we found the starter with the '3 half-baked rolls' with aioli rather cheeky for 9 euros 👀 The main course was good and the service was very friendly, quick and attentive. We had the salmon fillet with Camembert, vegetables and aioli & the pan fish.

We have always enjoyed being here. However, the price-performance ratio is now completely inadequate. Panfish costs 28 euros. Too expensive for us, especially since the service on Sunday lunchtime in the empty restaurant wasn't exactly friendly.

Not barrier-free, steps in the entrance and in the restaurant. Toilets in the basement. This is not for wheelchair users! Food is quite expensive, which is of course not unusual for the area.

We wanted to have a coffee there today. After there was a sign on the door telling us to wait and be escorted to the square, we did so. The staff chatted behind the counter. There was no sign that we had been noticed. After five minutes, another guest said that we could just sit down, no one had come to him either. I then went to the counter and asked if we could sit at one of the free tables and the answer was bluntly “I don’t know either”. So one of us worked there (or not) and it wasn't me. We then went to a place with nicer staff. Therefore I can't say anything about the quality of the food and drinks.

We had the Viking platter and it was delicious. The fish was on point, the spinach with a hint of garlic. The Lanbier was very tasty and the prices were reasonable for the quality and location right from the pier. Our phone, which we had forgotten, was put aside. Thank you very much for that.

We ate there on both holidays in Grömitz. It tasted good every time. The service is good and quick. One employee particularly stood out for her friendliness, guest orientation and speed. I also reported back to her. Praise should be given!

Super friendly service and extremely delicious food

Service was not frequent enough. We would have bought more wine, soft drinks, water & even Schnapps if they had come more often to ask us. It wasn't busy. The 6 of us were the biggest table. Missed out there!!

For years....actually our restaurant twice a year, which always has to be there....Great food....Great waiters and a waitress....and none of them are offended... ..🤗😁.....if you don't like something, it was never a problem to swap it for another treat....food is plentiful but not too much on the plate...so it's always great .....just a nice meal every time...thank you for that 😌

I spontaneously stopped by the "Klabautermann" and was surprised with a really delicious meal. The price corresponds to the quality offered. The price-performance ratio is therefore right. Although the restaurant was very busy, I was quickly assigned a seat. The preparation was just as quick. The Klabautermann offers Mediterranean fish dishes, home cooking and there is also a menu for the children.

Unfortunately we were unlucky with the service. Outside the snow and icy wind was coming horizontally and so we wanted to drink some mulled wine. We were rudely seated at a table at the entrance. The outer door was held open with a wedge and there was a terrible draft. Even the curtain on the door moved. When I asked politely whether the door could be closed, the young lady with a Polish accent responded with incomprehension. It was so cold that I insisted on a solution... a new place, a closed door or we would leave. Again, we were rudely allowed to go to another table and were not looked at. Luckily another waitress came who was friendly. Does the lady realize who ultimately pays her wages? We won't be coming back.

Das Lokal ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir haben super lecker gegessen in einem schönen, maritimen Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter sind entspannt und wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise der Gerichte sind angemessen; man bekommt reichlich gutes Essen für sein Geld. Also, gerne wieder!

Schnelles und freundliches Personal Nicht von den Preisen abschrecken lassen!!! Hier stimmen Preis/Leistung!!! Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig und das Essen super lecker. Schöner Ausblick auf die Seebrücke. Ambiente auch gut und nicht all zu laut. Wir waren an 2 Tagen hintereinander da und waren sehr zufrieden.

Und wieder einmal hat es ein Restaurant geschafft, dass wir noch vor Ort eine Rezension schreiben. Das ist etwas Besonderes, genau wie das Erlebnis, das wir hier gerade haben. Wir hatten die Wikingerplatte und die war ganz ausgezeichnet - großes Kino. Der Fisch war sensationell, die Garnelen auf den Punkt gebraten und hervorragend gewürzt, das Ratatouille ist förmlich im Mund geschmolzen und auch der Spinat hätte besser nicht sein können. Einzig die Bratkartoffeln bekommen leichte Abzüge in der B-Note, was allerdings auch Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist, angesichts der großartigen Fischplatte. Vom Servicepersonal hätten wir uns ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht, der junge Mann war aber sehr freundlich, wenn wir ihn mit unseren Wünschen angesprochen haben. Insgesamt definitiv "Daumen hoch" und eine ganz klare Empfehlung für den "Klabautermann". 😊

Hervorragendes Essen zu üblichen Preisen direkt an der Promenade. Der Service war bisher hier in Grömitz mit am besten. Leckeres Bier, haben auch nicht nur dieses 0815 KöPi oder Biere aus dem Sauerland, sondern direkt aus Holstein gibt es ein leckeres Landbier. Wir können es nur empfehlen dort einmal einzukehren.

Schönes Restaurant mit guten/leckeren Speisen und Getränken. Die Lage an der Promenade bzw. an der Seebrücke mit Blick auf den Strand und das ist Meer perfekt. In den Stoßzeiten offensichtlich überbucht da man uns nach 1,5 Stunden darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat, dass wir den Tisch leider räumen müssen da noch anschließende Reservierungen vorliegen würden. Schade, so wären wir noch gerne länger geblieben und hätten natürlich auch weiter für den entsprechenden Umsatz gesorgt. Zwei Punkte Abzug beim Service, da die folgende Reservierung (nach unserer bestehenden Reservierung) nicht von Beginn an angekündigt wurde. Sonst klare Empfehlung für jeden Besucher des Ortes Grömitz.

Schönes Restaurant, lecker Essen und tolle Ambiente

Nach unserer Negativ Erfahrung vor 3 Jahren mit dem Restaurant Klabautermann, wollten wir dort eigentlich nicht nochmal einkehren. Dennoch wagten wir einen 2. Anlauf und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein Rindercarpaccio, den Cesar Salat, die Grillplatte und den Burger für Kinder. Die Gargrade der unterschiedlichen Fleischarten (Schwein, Hähnchen, Rumpsteak) wurden äußerst gut getroffen. Die Zwiebeln und Champions unterm Fleisch passten hervorragend. Dazu gab es einen kleinen Salat und eine Folienkartoffel. Der Salat war sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Es gab viel Hähnchen, Croutons und Parmesan. Das Dressing war sehr schmackhaft. Wir hatten einen tollen Tisch mit Blick auf den Strand, dazu unterhielt uns ein Musiker, einfach perfekt. Leider war der Service nicht aufmerksam und wirkte lustlos. Küche Top, Service Flop!
