Good location right on the promenade, fair prices and fast, friendly service, ambience could be more appealing (better cushions for the chairs)

I don't know what people expect. I am in Grömitz with my wife for the second year in a row. There wasn't an evening for me where I wasn't there unless it was closed. The food is not 5 star cuisine, which is not what I expect when I go to a brewery, no matter which one. I expect good home cooking and that's what you get every time The price/performance ratio is okay for post-Corona times. The service is always courteous and very fast. Although I would like more service when it's full, that's unfortunately the case these days, good staff is hard to find .The beer is very tasty, which is what you can and should expect from Bavaria. We will be back in Grömitz next year and will stop there again, just because of the beer.

A no-frills restaurant. ...That's probably how it should be. Baked potatoes and schnitzel with fries were great. The shandy tastes good too. The restaurant has now been in Grömitz for 3.4 years. So a lot of people must like it.

A restaurant where the waiter still works the old school way...customer is king and customer is friend. If you don't like delicious beers that change seasonally, this is the wrong place for you. The service is just perfect. Even at peak times, you will be served quickly and the food will be delivered in no time. For me, my vacation in Grömitz only really begins when the nice waiter brings me my measure. The only criticism I can only level at myself is that at the moment only my bladder and my weak mind are preventing me from uninhibited enjoyment of hop ambrosia. But be warned and keep the barrels handy. I'll be back💪

Since I discovered this restaurant, my stay in Grömitz has become so much better. It's a dream. Delicious beer, good weather, view of the beach and great service. The waiter remembers his customers' faces and now knows exactly what we want to order when we get back. Both the food and drinks arrive in no time and it tastes fantastic. Super friendly service. And for the football fans among us, one or two games are even broadcast here. I'm super happy here and always enjoy coming back. Thanks :)

I have to say it's always a treat for me to daydrink here on my short vacations, this place has the most personable waiter I've ever met, no matter how long I haven't been here, when he sees me he brings me a beer straight away. Great Great

Even though it's very busy and there are a lot of complaining customers, the waiter really does his best to ensure everyone has a nice experience. The guy is super personable and it's really incomprehensible to me how some customers dare to complain about this service.

On our first visit to Bräuhuus Grömitz at lunchtime, we were looking forward to a cozy meal and a few cool drinks. Unfortunately, the overall impression was not entirely positive. First we ordered a pilsner from the tap. Unfortunately, this didn't meet our expectations at all: the taste was more reminiscent of dishwater than of a fresh, delicious beer. A disappointing start to lunch. The prices at Bräuhuus Grömitz also seemed a bit too high to us. For example, two white sausages with a pretzel cost around €10, which borders on a rip-off. For this price you would expect significantly more quality and authenticity. But the taste of the food was okay. I chose cheese spaetzle, which tasted good. However, the taste was nowhere near what you would get served directly in Bavaria. The price was just acceptable, but better value for money would be desirable. Unfortunately, we discovered that you cannot eat take-away food, such as meat loaf in a roll, on site. This is a real shame and further spoils the experience. The service was friendly, but could have been a little quicker. Faster operation would certainly have improved the overall impression. In summary, while Bräuhuus Grömitz offers some tasty food, the experience suffers from the high prices and disappointing quality of the beer. But with some improvements, this restaurant could have potential.

I would like to say that it was completely unexpected to have such a negative experience here. We came in a group (all from the dlrg) and had only heard good things about the place. But now everything is different. The staff is unfriendly, the discount we were promised was denied, and the way they deal with customers is completely uncharacteristic of a restaurant like this, never again!

Very friendly service and delicious food - we are on a sailing trip in Grömitz for two days and are eating here for the second time. The schnitzels are really great, extremely tender and deliciously seasoned.

If you want to eat tasty and plentiful food, this is the right place for you. Despite the prime location, acceptable prices. We had schnitzel with fries and were very satisfied. Nice service and ice-cold beer from Bavaria rounded off the evening. Gladly again…..

Personally, I like it when it takes less than a few hours from the time the order is placed to the final serving of the food. Of course the location is designed to achieve a high fluctuation of guests, but... The food is very tasty and the service is very friendly and always up for fun! The taste is great, the ambience is classic Bavarian, but the portions are very expensive and so small that even women and children can't get enough - so they had to eat at another restaurant after dinner.

Had schnitzel with fries. They are m.M. after TK Schnitzel. Yes, that's fine, but I don't always have to have it. Prices are affordable until 5:00 p.m., but after 5:00 p.m. the prices are adjusted for the evening (more expensive) about 2-3€ more. It's not worth it to us.

The food wasn't that special. More standard food. The food seemed more like it came from the freezer. The service seemed overwhelmed and very cold. The atmosphere felt like a stall at a fair. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. For a restaurant that offers Bavarian food on the beach and is located directly on the promenade, you would expect more. We won't come back. Price for Kaiserschmarn €9.90, schnitzel with fries €10.90.

We've eaten at the Bräuhuus several times and loved it every time. There is currywurst and schnitzel, but also cheese spaetzle and roast pork. The Kaiserschmarrn is also great. The service is also very attentive and always friendly. The only deduction is for the beer garden. I find the chairs extremely uncomfortable, so I can't sit there for long. The Bräuhuus is located on the beach promenade in Grömitz. It doesn't get any better. When we are in Grömitz, we always like to visit the restaurant.

We've been here several times, the last time was in 2021. Today, June 9th, 2024, was the last time because we won't be coming back. The reason is that the schnitzels come from a frozen food chain and are not fresh. The mushroom cream sauce is not fresh as the waiter said, but the mushrooms were from a jar or a can. And something like that costs 2 euros more. With the Leberkäs, the potato salad wasn't homemade either. The beer is very tasty. The waiters are nice but don't understand German. We wanted to pay and were looked at strangely because they didn't understand us. Another waiter had to come. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. It all costs a lot of money, but if I want frozen goods, I go to REWE u Co. I talked to the waiter about the products and he confirmed to me that the products were not fresh. We paid 97 euros for 4 people. Conclusion: It's a shame for the Brauhuus but we won't be coming back. Addendum: When we walked behind the Brauhuus this evening, the staff was standing outside and smoking. It's not bad at all. A break is a break. But then the kitchen staff should take off their gloves when smoking. And yes, we tried to speak to the boss, but there was no one available That is not how it works

Our visit to Brauhuus Grömitz today was a bitter disappointment. The cream slices from the spaetzle trade for €21.50 turned out to be 100 g!!! Chicken slices with a handful of fries and a ladle of salad. To change the side dish from spaetzle to fries, another €2 extra was charged. The proportion of sliced ​​chicken in the baked potato for €15 was significantly higher. The waiter's inquiry as to whether the portion size was a joke was only met with a tired smile and a suggestion to please contact the boss. Yes, everything has become more expensive, but you still don't have to rip off your guests.

Call me old-fashioned, but I don't want to be called by anyone on a first visit. The food was really not good. Fried potatoes were too fatty and not fresh, the Wiener Schnitzel had rind and cartilage and wasn't fresh either. The side salad was ok, if not prepared with love. The Bavarian drinks, shandy and pilsner were good. And the criticism of my schnitzel, which I had collected evidence of on my plate, was acknowledged by the staff with a shrug of the shoulders. But we paid the full price for that. Nothing was right, the feel-good factor was 0. Never again - there is no second chance to make a first impression.

The “salad plate with chicken breast and a pretzel” actually has a star, unfortunately it is the freshly baked pretzel. The "salad plate" turns out to be a cheap iceberg lettuce with four corn kernels, three pieces of pepper and 2 shreds of a carrot. In addition, completely unseasoned fried chicken breast, both very carelessly and not very creatively prepared. You can't say that it doesn't taste good, but the name of the dish on the menu and what comes are miles apart. A pity. The price of this bagged salad mix contributes to the rest of the dissatisfaction. And as a suggestion, put a Bavarian speciality on the menu, that's part of the cultural heritage and Sinalco doesn't fit in at all. Oh and yes, I expressed my criticism of the food directly to the waiter, but unfortunately there was no response.

We can't judge the food. They Sinalco Cola and Orange tasted like syrup without any bubbles.

We have been coming to Grömitz for many years and the brewery is always worth a visit. The staff is always naturally friendly and the food is fresh and appetizing.

The beer was great and the sausage salad was very good. However, I only chose the sausage salad because I had to pay two euros extra to change the side dish from fried potatoes to fries when frying. I absolutely cannot understand charging me two euros extra for changing a side dish.

The schnitzel practically came from the TK supermarket. Not fried but fried. Nothing special at all. Salad carelessly served next to it. We come back to Grömitz, but nothing to the Bräuhuus.
