Service very nice and accommodating, My wife and I enjoyed the teriyaki bowl.

Was in Grömitz in November, outside the holiday season. There are hardly any options for dinner in the immediate vicinity of the Baltic Sea Clinic. The doors were open at "Ahoi": great service, delicious food (schnitzel, but a delicious one) and an industrial, modern atmosphere.

Today for the first time in Ahoy. Nice service and very tasty food. Price performance OK.

Great restaurant, very good service, very good food (the best fries ever). The prices are absolutely fine, not expensive as you might think. The view is beautiful and dogs are very welcome and respected. What more could you want? We always eat there when we are in Grömitz and have not been disappointed yet. Highly recommended!

Absolutely top location. Service is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. A perfect place for a break, even with a dog. The food was an absolute delight! I can only recommend ☺️

The food tastes very diverse and special. Even a seemingly “boring” dish like fish & chips tastes extraordinary. The service is super friendly and the ambience creates a modern atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Ok for a standard meal, nothing exceptional. Prices for a standard meal of €75 for two are clearly too expensive. The service brought out the negative (cleanliness in the restaurant). Popcorn and leftover food are all over the floor?!

Were there last year and were very satisfied, it's a shame that it's gone so badly. The nice waitress with the glasses and the fully tattooed one are a little missing, otherwise big praise to Dennis, the kitchen has a lot of room for improvement

We went there for dinner and loved it. You might think that the prices are very high due to the connection to Steffen Henssler, but I can reassure everyone: the prices are in no way higher than in other restaurants, and the quality and service are excellent. The welcome greeting in the form of salty popcorn was a nice and original gesture that we really liked and started the evening wonderfully. We had a wonderful spot on the terrace, which is converted into a winter garden on cooler days, and were able to enjoy a great view of the water while we ate. A special highlight was the dog-friendliness, which I really liked, even though I don't own a dog myself. Unfortunately, in other restaurants I have experienced that dogs either had to be on a leash under the table or were not allowed at all. Here it was different: there were two dogs present during our visit, and of course both were given a bowl of water - a gesture that you don't see everywhere. The service was attentive and humorous, and it seemed as if the team was working well together. This positive mood is noticeably reflected in the atmosphere. All in all we were more than satisfied. A big thank you to the service and the kitchen for the great evening! We would definitely like to come back.

The fries were completely over salted and the dip wasn't tried either. Neither was tasty and was returned. The citizen was okay.

It was my first time here and I was positively surprised, the food was very tasty, the service was very nice and attentive, and the atmosphere was very good, right on the beach and by the sea, it couldn't be better. I would like to come back.

Ahoy again with Steffen Henssler! This time in Grömitz. On a sunny evening, right on the promenade and just one day before the XLETIX event, the location on the Baltic Sea looked inviting. We were particularly captivated by the upper floor with its glass facade and wonderful view of the sea. It was busy that Friday evening, but my best friend and I decided to try our luck and get one of the coveted tables by the upstairs window. When we arrived, a couple in front of us was already waiting for their table. Shortly afterwards a friendly waitress came to us. When I asked to get one of the beautiful tables for two by the window front, she initially explained that they had already been reserved. However, she offered us alternative sunny spots. We were ready to follow her when she suddenly noticed that a table by the window had just become available. Without hesitation, she offered it to us and got it ready for us immediately. A real stroke of luck! 😊 The atmosphere was simply perfect: great weather, a fantastic view, excellent food and – as always – first-class service. I ordered the same dish that I had in Wismar and it was again a delight. Only the portion was a little smaller than my hunger demanded that evening. But no problem – the rest could be filled in wonderfully with a cold beer. It was another great evening in Steffen Henssler's culinary empire. The team in Grömitz also shows how to make guests happy. Thank you for this great experience!

Everything at its best. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is simply amazing and the atmosphere is great. As a professional, I can't say anything negative.

After a long walk on the promenade with the dog, my husband and I decided to try out Ahoi. I then went to their website and reserved a table online. It worked great. But we also wanted to eat relatively early (5 p.m.). I think later it would have been more difficult to get a table so spontaneously because it quickly filled up shortly after we arrived. We were welcomed very nicely. The dog was immediately given a bowl of water. My husband ordered the Schnitzel Ahoy. He was very enthusiastic about the fries :) I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with the truffle butter and I have to say it was delicious and plentiful. I had to leave something behind because I was so full. But my husband helped me with the rest🤭 Now comes the big “but” Unfortunately I have to deduct one point. I wanted to go to the toilet but when I entered the washroom I was shocked 🙈. Everything wet. The sinks looked terrible. There was toilet paper on the wet floor in all the toilet cubicles. The toilet bowls didn't look any better. Since the sanitary facilities are black, you can see the misery more clearly. In any case, I didn't go in there. Maybe the toilet should be checked more often or a toilet woman should actually be hired. To all the women out there...sometimes it's more hygienic to just trust that the toilet is clean and just "sit" on the bowl and leave it clean afterwards! Despite everything, we would like to come back

Dog friendly, nice service staff. However, without a reservation it is difficult to get a place.

It's also very cozy on the ground floor and there are other foods besides kebab or pizza, which is a good thing

I was there with my girlfriend last week! Very disappointed! Although it is right on the promenade, the ambience leaves a lot to be desired! Dirty and cheap furnishings! We had fish and chips! Two small pieces of fried fish and lots of supposedly homemade fries! I complained about that too! Too little fish and too many fries that weren't homemade! Then 20€ for that! No! Definitely not again!!!!

A visit is worth it if you spend the day in Grömitz, but you don't have to plan extra to go out to eat there. The food is quite good, we had burgers, schnitzel and something with fish. The view of the Baltic Sea and the pier is like the pictures they advertise. There is an outside area and options to sit inside.

Very tasty dishes, food and drinks, great ambience with a view of the beach, sea and promenade. A special thank you goes to Dennis, who gave us an outstanding surprise after a small misunderstanding. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

...there is definitely still room for improvement in terms of service. Because there were hardly any guests there, we had to wait too long... again and again... It starts with the sign "please wait, you will be seated"... Why wait when everything is empty? ...the guests in front of us simply left.... Afterwards, they were constantly "overlooked" at the table? Maybe better next time....🤔🤷

First of all: I can't understand the negative reviews! Great food, great service and a great view. We even found the price cheaper than other restaurants in the area. We had: potato pancakes for our daughter, Ahoi salads as a starter, Teriaki chicken bowl and the chicken burger for the main course. Everything was super delicious. Drinks were also excellent. LG

As with the North Sea in Otterndorf, the food here was very, very good. My favorite is the ShushiBowl. It makes sense to reserve, it worked well online

A quick portion of Henssler Style fries is always possible and is highly recommended.

Spontaneously decided to take a look and get another spot. Was the right decision - great tasting creations: Chrispy Shrimp Boal - so delicious, with sweet potato fries Henssler style - absolutely recommended. When we come by an Ahoy again we will take a look again!

We ate the bowl with the shrimp and the ponzu butter again and it was again super tasty, and the drinks were also very good. The employees were again very accommodating and super friendly!!!

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed on our third visit. Schnitzel unfortunately unspectacular. Bowl great. But would like better care of the locations in the basement......

Online Tisch bestellt, das ging einfach und schnell. Dann der Empfang - natürlich per Du, das muss anscheinend heute so sein. Aber so penetrant betont war es dann doch strange- als würde das Mädel am Empfang uns seit Jahren kennen. Dann zum Tisch geleitet, erste Reihe am Fenster, toll! Aber Hinsetzen geht kaum - Tische viel zu eng gestellt - ohne den Nachbarn einen Kick von hinten zu geben. Zur Karte - tja, Burger, Bowl oder Fish&Chips (die gibt’s auch im Erdgeschoss take away, aber etwas günstiger - zu den Preisen komme ich noch). Also Burger mit Pommes - deutlich über 20 Euro - na ja ist halt Henssler und wahrscheinlich toll… Nicht lange warten und Essen kommt schon - sooo schnell??? Das muss ja schon fertig da auf uns gewartet haben🤔 Kommen wir zur Qualität - Burger durchschnittlich, nix besonderes, Hensslers Spezial-Super-Signature-Soße ist wohl auch eher von Hamker oder Hela. Aber die „Krönung“ sind die Pommes - die sind so salzig, die ziehen einem „das Hemd in die Ritze“. Da sie aber gar nicht so salzig aussahen, vermuteten wir eher, dass sie vorher roh oder vorfrittiert in Salzlake eingelegt waren - ein Prosit auf den Getränkeumsatz! Kaum aufgegessen, Teller fort, obligatorische Frage nach Kaffee etc. (Ok, an der Aufmerksamkeit des Personal gabs nichts zu meckern). Nach Verneinung umgehend Rechnung und Tschüss. Gute Stunde, nächster! Zusammengefasst: Völlig überhypter Laden mit nicht so genanntem Fast Food mittlerer Qualität und mehreren Ausschlägen nach unten bei Details. Hensslers Name zieht anscheinend im Moment noch, aber man merkt deutlich, dass er nur für Karte und Signatures steht, der Rest ist Franchise und auch nicht anders als bei anderen. Fazit: Beim nächsten Mal gehen wir woanders hin, das war deutlich zu teuer für (bestenfalls) Durchschnitt, deshalb auch nur zwei Punkte.

As in Wismar, the visit here was absolutely satisfactory, we would 100% come back there the next time we visit Grömitz...

Das Schnitzel mit ca. 3mm Fleisch einfach zu dünn, Zwiebeln auf den Fritten auch nicht mein Ding. Wir hätten gerne noch einen Cocktail getrunken, aber es war im Lokal zu kalt dafür. Waren im Mai in Wismar, das hat uns besser gefallen.

Sehr sehr gut! Gerne immer wieder . Ganz tolles und freundliches Personal. Und das essen ist ein Traum.

Are currently in Grömitz and are on vacation. Discovered the restaurant/restaurant by chance. Very nice atmosphere. However, I would have used the same chairs everywhere instead of the white ones with blue upholstery. I found it a little messy. But that doesn't detract from my rating! I thought the portions of the food would be small given the increased price. That wasn't the case at all! Large portions, so the price is okay. All in all, it was a nice evening with delicious drinks and good food.

I was eating there with friends last week and my food was the only thing that was forgotten, so I couldn't start eating until later than my friends. I was then promised a dessert on the house as compensation, but when I wanted to take advantage of this I was told the kitchen was already closed and I could only get ice cream. I thought it was okay, as long as I got something to make up for it on the house, but the icing on the cake was that the waiter also charged me for the ice cream, which I noticed afterwards.

Absolute recommendation. Food, service and ambience top. The next table is already reserved 😅

We were at the Henssler for the first time today. And we were very enthusiastic. The map is described quite simply without seeming pretentious. However, the food is very special and high quality. Really delicious, we can only recommend it. Price-performance ratio is great for the Grömitzer prices.

Wir haben uns von der Speisekarte ausgesucht 180g leckeres Schnitzel vom Landschwein. Leider konnten wir es nicht als solches identifizieren. Es bestand aus einer undefinierbaren dünnen "Fleischscheibe" mit viel Panade. Wir hatten uns an unserem letzten Urlaubstag auf den Besuch dort gefreut und sind sehr enttäuscht. Das bekommt man in jedem guten Imbiss besser. Schade.

Wir waren gestern da. Und wir waren begeistert. Super nette Bedienung, man bekommt eine tasse mit gesalzenen Popcorn. Die selbst gemachten Limonade schmeckt super lecker. Wir haben dann den Teriyaki Beef Burger gehabt dazu Süßkartoffel Pommes. Geschmacklich sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch hatten wir dann die churros mit Schokoladeneis und Karamell Soße, das war unser Highlight von süß bis Salz hat die Kombination sehr geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv nochmals wieder

Worst meal in the price range I've ever had. Tank&Rast can do that too. Schnitzel from the deep fryer. Service - smelling of cigarettes - was nice until payment. After that the smile disappeared immediately. It was louder in the store than any daycare center.

I felt like I was in the zoo. Dogs were barking and eating everywhere, horrible for the price range. You only pay for the name!

We spontaneously got a table in this great restaurant with a great view of the sea without a reservation. The service was very friendly and the salty popcorn was a nice touch (even though I prefer sweet popcorn). The food was good and let Don't wait long, price-performance ratio is right. The lime passion fruit or “limo” tasted great.

Finally been there today. All I can say is fantastic. Since we were there around 2 p.m. we were lucky to get a seat without a reservation. The service was very nice, the food was great and it was very quick. The homemade lemonade and iced tea are highly recommended. The sanitary facilities were also very clean.

I discovered this restaurant by chance. When you read Henssler you immediately think it can only be good. Unfortunately I was very disappointed, when you go to a restaurant with such prices you also expect delicious food. I had a chicken burger and really had high hopes... Immediately after the visit I had the feeling that I had stones in my stomach and my thought was that I could have invested my money better.

Price-performance is not right. I was disappointed. Schnitzel was far too dry. The quality is like that of a snack bar.

Great restaurant with a unique view of the sea, the promenade and the pier. The large windows can be opened and you sit in this room like you are in a large winter garden. The service is courteous and super nice, you are addressed directly as “Du”. Salty popcorn is served as a welcome. The menu offers a sufficient selection of food and drinks. Everything we have eaten and drunk there so far has been fresh, very tasty and plentiful. The truffle butter is also highly recommended in terms of taste. The prices are appropriate for the selection and freshness.

Good morning The Ahio is easily accessible via the stairs or the elevator. The service staff was very friendly, the children are immediately offered painting materials, I mainly only know them from other countries. Food was okay but not exceptional. It was my first time in the restaurant and I didn't know what to expect. I was looking forward to a delicious, high-quality steak or a Baltic Sea fish platter I was prepared for 123 more dishes The only hearty meals were Hamburger Currywurst Schnitzel fish & chips and just sushi

Wir waren vor ein paar Monaten schon einmal hier. Da war es wesentlich besser. Zurzeit auf Touri-Standard. Essen kam nach 10 Minuten, wie in einem Schnell-Restaurant. Es war nicht besonders, kleinere Portionen als beim 1. Besuch und auch von der Temperatur her nicht optimal. Dafür zu hoher Preis. Sehr voll, viele Tische, wir fühlten uns wie eingequetscht. Wenn man am Fenster sitzt hat man wenigstens den Blick auf die Ostsee! Ansonsten gibt es wesentlich bessere Restaurants. Schade! Wir werden nicht wiederkommen und nicht weiter empfehlen.

Wie immer, ein tolles Essen mit sehr gutem Service.

Wir waren mit unserem Hund im Restaurant. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend sowohl zu und als auch zu unserem Vierbeiner. Haben zu zweit einen Vierer-Tisch bekommen damit der Hund Platz hat. Das Essen war reichlich und hervorragend. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Das Restaurant an sich ist recht schön und gut gelegen an der Promenade. Wir hatten Shrimps und Chips sowie einen Burger mit Süßkartoffelpommes. Eines Vorweg: Die Pommes, egal ob Süßkartoffel oder normal waren super kross und super lecker. Die Shrimps waren auch sehr gut. Einzig der Beef Burger war enttäuschend. Hier habe ich schon geschmackvollere und raffinierterer gegessen. Die Teriyaki-Soße ist zwar gut, wurde aber von dem Senf teilweise überlagert. Schade fand ich auch, dass ich nicht gefragt wurde ob der Burger Medium sein sollte. Ich habe Ihn komplett durch serviert bekommen. Das Paddy machte schon den Anschein eher ein Convenience-Produkt zu sein. Ein wenig mehr Individualität hätte ich hier erwartet. Bombastisch und super freundlich war der Service.

Super Service sehr umsichtig, sehr zügige Abwicklung vom bestellen bis zum servierten, Essen sehr sehr lecker, kann man beruhigt weiter empfehlen 1A weiter so, wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder

Das Tuna Sashimi ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Salat hingegen eine Vollkatastrophe und nicht gewürzt. Leider hat sich die Karte im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr, wo wir hier noch sehr begeistert essen waren, sehr verkleinert und es gleicht von der Auswahl her in großen Teilen einer "Frittenbude". Das Essen ist im großen und Ganzen als eher mittelmäßig zu bezeichnen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier leider nicht mehr, man zahlt nur noch für den Namen aber nicht mehr für die Qualität. Sehr schade aber wir kommen hier nicht mehr hin. Quantität über Qualität und das für den Preis, das lohnt sich leider nicht.

At the end of a lovely day at the beach, we treated ourselves to something delicious today at Steffen Henssler's "Frittenbude", the out-of-house outlet of his Ahoy restaurant. Fish'n'chips in the Henssler style. It was super tasty, and the service was relaxed and friendly, very personable! And the price/performance ratio was great. For the promenade in Grömitz, which is actually rather expensive, I was very surprised that the entire portion only cost 8.50 euros given the good quality. My compliments. Thanks for that

Online reservation worked perfectly. The ambience is great. Everything very clean. You also pay attention to the little things like the cutlery, the glasses, etc. It's great to sit inside and outside. Service exceptionally good. Unobtrusive, attentive and competent. The food comes quickly, hot and beautifully prepared and turns into a real taste explosion. Regardless of whether it's a main course or a dessert, you can notice the “whistle” in the dishes.

Das Essen und die Getränke sind superlecker. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön. Der Service ist nett und schnell. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen war mal wieder ein Gedicht. Der Service einfach klasse und zuvorkommend, trotz Ostsee in flammen doch sehr ruhig und ohne Stress. Einziges Manko oder eher eine frage, warum gab es zu den pommes Henssler Style keine Majo? Macht weiter so ...

Leider wurde die Karte geändert und Gerichte, auf die man sich gefreut hatte (in dem Fall das anstatt dem Surf & Turf ) flogen raus und man musste sich als Fleischesser nunmehr mit einem Schweineschnitzel zufrieden geben Die gebratenen Garnelen als Zusatz gab es auch nicht mehr - stattdessen lediglich panierte frittierte Shrimps. Hinzu kamen Kommunikationsprobleme aufgrund unzureichender Deutschkenntnisse der Kellnerin.
