Ahoi Steffen Henssler Grömitz in Grömitz

Today we ate at Ahoi in Grömitz. We had a “Salmon Bowl”, “Chicken Teriyaki Bowl” and “Fish and Chips Henssler Style (Henssler dip = mega)”. Everything was sensationally delicious! The ambience is great. Due to the winter season, we stayed in the beach shack, which is quite small given the crowds, so reservations are an advantage. But we still got a place for the three of us with a dog. The dog was also provided with water by the service. Great food, great service and good ambience (beach shack).

Probably due to the season, the restaurant was closed yesterday and was "moved" to the chip shop below. The restaurant was full, so we opted for a seat at a high table. The waiter seemed annoyed and listless - a table of four who sat down about 5 minutes after us was served immediately. In our case - despite walking past the table twice - it wasn't even enough for a hello. Probably also because looking at the smartphone was more important. We then got up again and left. We can also spend our money elsewhere!

Had warm plum cake and cappuccino. Both were very tasty. Cozy atmosphere. Interesting selection of food.

Es war wirklich ein schöner Restaurantbesuch. Trotz das es voll war war es kein bisschen laut. Besonders gut hat uns die Beleuchtung gefallen das Konzept ist wirklich toll! Das Essen war sehr lecker und gute große Portionen. Auch toll war das es für Kinder nicht nur Pommes und Nuggets gibt sondern auch etwas anderes. Der Rosé Wein war super lecker und wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder!

- Burger war nur lauwarm - Tische stehen viel zu eng beieinander - man hat das Gefühl man sitzt mit anderen Gästen an einem Tisch (wir waren zu zweit) - sehr laut - sehr hell wenn man direkt unter einer Lampe sitzt

Es ist alles zu eng da. Wenn man 4 Sterne Preise fürs Essen bezahlt will man sich nicht in enge Sitzmöglichkeiten quetschen.

Wie immer alles Tippi-Toppi - Essen hervorragend - Service super !!!

Von drei Essen auf der Karte waren zwei nicht verfügbar. Wir haben ohne etwas zu Essen oder Trinken das Lokal verlassen. Der Gruss aus der Küche war ein Becher Popkorn. Für uns niemals mehr Hensler Ahoi Grömitz. Heisser Tip. Restaurant Naturdüne Lensterstrand.

Is very stylishly furnished. The food tastes great, no question, but whether 19 € for a burger 🍔 and 16 € for the currywurst is justified remains to be seen. But the service scored points. Overall I can recommend it and it is worth a visit.

Wir waren am Silvesterabend zu viert das erste Mal im Ahoi in Grömitz. Das Essen, der Service…alles spitzenmäßig. Was wir wirklich bemängeln sind die Toiletten. Wir waren um 18.30 Uhr da und es war eine Katastrophe. Die Toiletten dreckig, teilweise kein Klopapier. Klopapier am Boden, Seifenspender leer usw. Sowas darf nicht sein.

We were there with four people. I ordered a burger and my friend ordered a crispy duck. The burger wasn't good at all. The meat tasted like it came from the freezer. The fries were so hard you couldn't eat them. And the crispy duck wasn't crispy. The waitress was super nice. We ate some of it so as not to create a bad mood among friends. It was money wasted.

You can, but you don't have to. Schnitzel NOT homemade, fries as always, you have to like burgers (we don't), with cream cheese spread. Children's burger, patty NOT homemade (frozen). Way too expensive. It has nothing to do with Henssler, you pay for the name. Don't come back.

We ate hamburger panfish. The taste was good, the fish wasn't dry. The potato pancakes looked like frozen goods, the applesauce looked like it came from a jar. There is still room for improvement. Especially because we had a comparison in another restaurant in the same town - much tastier, richer and also better value for money. However, the service was very good - absolutely friendly, uncomplicated and in a good mood. Ambiance is always a subjective matter of taste, we found it quite restless and loud.

In the evening we spontaneously went to the chip shop on the ground floor for a portion of fries. It was delicious, especially the sweet potato version. Few people do it so well. The service was also good. We then booked for the restaurant before Christmas. Unfortunately, as expected, the meal took place downstairs. We were greeted very nicely and were able to choose a table. This time we had the rump steak or a salad. Both dishes were well prepared and extremely tasty. We were repeatedly asked whether we liked it or whether we had any further wishes. The competent lady immediately had suggestions ready for both the drinks and the ice cream flavors afterwards. In these times when good service staff is in short supply, I can only say great praise to the team on site😊. We felt very comfortable!

Eine problemlose Online Tischreservierung. Der Service war sehr freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert. Wir hatten Hamburger Pannfisch. Es schmeckte gut, der Fisch war gut gebraten und nicht trocken. Die Beilage aus Reibekuchen schien aus der Tiefkühlung, so gleich und ebenmäßig sie aussahen, geschmacklich jedoch gut. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war, hinsichtlich der Qualität sowie der Portionsgröße ok. Da haben wir jedoch in einem anderen Restaurant im gleichen Ort bessere Erfahrung gehabt. Unser Fazit insgesamt gut.

Ich bin gerne in diesem Restaurant. Service, Preis Leistung stimmt.

Unfortunately it's not worth a visit. The employee was overwhelmed and we had to wait to order the food because the kitchen staff wasn't there yet. Not very service-oriented unfortunately. Food feedback: The baked potato we ordered was just several small hard-boiled potatoes, which were returned after we complained with the words "wrong again". The cucumber salad came in a very small jar and was considered a side salad. It would be nice to give three cucumber slices for free instead of charging €2 for them. That was a shame. Unfortunately, my bowl was swimming in mayonnaise, so I couldn't eat ⅓ of it. The accompaniments in my bowl were delicious. My son's sweet potatoes were good. The very nice employee who served us saved the visit somewhat. Conclusion: Unfortunately, a visit to Ahoi in Grömitz wasn't worth it for us. It would be nice if there was a better result next time.

Was in Grömitz in November, outside the holiday season. There are hardly any options for dinner in the immediate vicinity of the Baltic Sea Clinic. The doors were open at "Ahoi": great service, delicious food (schnitzel, but a delicious one) and an industrial, modern atmosphere.

Today for the first time in Ahoy. Nice service and very tasty food. Price performance OK.

Great restaurant, very good service, very good food (the best fries ever). The prices are absolutely fine, not expensive as you might think. The view is beautiful and dogs are very welcome and respected. What more could you want? We always eat there when we are in Grömitz and have not been disappointed yet. Highly recommended!

Ok for a standard meal, nothing exceptional. Prices for a standard meal of €75 for two are clearly too expensive. The service brought out the negative (cleanliness in the restaurant). Popcorn and leftover food are all over the floor?!

The food tastes very diverse and special. Even a seemingly “boring” dish like fish & chips tastes extraordinary. The service is super friendly and the ambience creates a modern atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Always worth a visit when you are in Grömitz. The food has always been very good and the location, with a view of the beach, couldn't be better.

We went there for dinner and loved it. You might think that the prices are very high due to the connection to Steffen Henssler, but I can reassure everyone: the prices are in no way higher than in other restaurants, and the quality and service are excellent. The welcome greeting in the form of salty popcorn was a nice and original gesture that we really liked and started the evening wonderfully. We had a wonderful spot on the terrace, which is converted into a winter garden on cooler days, and were able to enjoy a great view of the water while we ate. A special highlight was the dog-friendliness, which I really liked, even though I don't own a dog myself. Unfortunately, in other restaurants I have experienced that dogs either had to be on a leash under the table or were not allowed at all. Here it was different: there were two dogs present during our visit, and of course both were given a bowl of water - a gesture that you don't see everywhere. The service was attentive and humorous, and it seemed as if the team was working well together. This positive mood is noticeably reflected in the atmosphere. All in all we were more than satisfied. A big thank you to the service and the kitchen for the great evening! We would definitely like to come back.

Perfektes Essen, eine gute Portionsgrösse, sehr angenehme Servicekräfte und die Wartezeit aufs Essen war sensationell kurz. Wir sind " Wiederholungstäter" und werden bei dieser gleichbleibenden Qualität gerne wiederkommen!

The fries were completely over salted and the dip wasn't tried either. Neither was tasty and was returned. The citizen was okay.

Ahoy again with Steffen Henssler! This time in Grömitz. On a sunny evening, right on the promenade and just one day before the XLETIX event, the location on the Baltic Sea looked inviting. We were particularly captivated by the upper floor with its glass facade and wonderful view of the sea. It was busy that Friday evening, but my best friend and I decided to try our luck and get one of the coveted tables by the upstairs window. When we arrived, a couple in front of us was already waiting for their table. Shortly afterwards a friendly waitress came to us. When I asked to get one of the beautiful tables for two by the window front, she initially explained that they had already been reserved. However, she offered us alternative sunny spots. We were ready to follow her when she suddenly noticed that a table by the window had just become available. Without hesitation, she offered it to us and got it ready for us immediately. A real stroke of luck! 😊 The atmosphere was simply perfect: great weather, a fantastic view, excellent food and – as always – first-class service. I ordered the same dish that I had in Wismar and it was again a delight. Only the portion was a little smaller than my hunger demanded that evening. But no problem – the rest could be filled in wonderfully with a cold beer. It was another great evening in Steffen Henssler's culinary empire. The team in Grömitz also shows how to make guests happy. Thank you for this great experience!

We had a delicious meal today... 😋 😋...

After a long walk on the promenade with the dog, my husband and I decided to try out Ahoi. I then went to their website and reserved a table online. It worked great. But we also wanted to eat relatively early (5 p.m.). I think later it would have been more difficult to get a table so spontaneously because it quickly filled up shortly after we arrived. We were welcomed very nicely. The dog was immediately given a bowl of water. My husband ordered the Schnitzel Ahoy. He was very enthusiastic about the fries :) I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with the truffle butter and I have to say it was delicious and plentiful. I had to leave something behind because I was so full. But my husband helped me with the rest🤭 Now comes the big “but” Unfortunately I have to deduct one point. I wanted to go to the toilet but when I entered the washroom I was shocked 🙈. Everything wet. The sinks looked terrible. There was toilet paper on the wet floor in all the toilet cubicles. The toilet bowls didn't look any better. Since the sanitary facilities are black, you can see the misery more clearly. In any case, I didn't go in there. Maybe the toilet should be checked more often or a toilet woman should actually be hired. To all the women out there...sometimes it's more hygienic to just trust that the toilet is clean and just "sit" on the bowl and leave it clean afterwards! Despite everything, we would like to come back

Everything was tasty (e.g. currywurst, Asian bowl, burger), service was very friendly, but not that attentive, ambience is nice, but nothing special! Good value for money. You should try it out. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Ambiente: hektisch (Motto: möglichst viele Gäste durchschleusen). Dementsprechend schnell werden die Gänge abgearbeitet. Personal: sehr freundlich Essen: enttäuschend! Preis-Leistung stimmt hinten und vorne nicht. Pommes schmecken nicht. Mayo wird nicht extra dazugestellt, sondern über die weichen Pommes gespritzt. Wenig Shrimps für sehr viel Geld. Aufpreis 4€ für "Henssler-Style" (Peperoni, rohe Zwiebeln, Koriander) und/oder ein Minitöpfchen Ponzubutter ist ein Witz. Alles auf einer Art recyclebarem Backpapier serviert. Praktisch nur für das Küchenpersonal (Entsorgung der Essensreste). Was soll das? Ich möchte das Essen vom Porzellan essen und nicht vom Backpapier.

Tolle Lage und super Essen. Service war Top. Alles insgesamt nur zu empfehlen.

I was there with my girlfriend last week! Very disappointed! Although it is right on the promenade, the ambience leaves a lot to be desired! Dirty and cheap furnishings! We had fish and chips! Two small pieces of fried fish and lots of supposedly homemade fries! I complained about that too! Too little fish and too many fries that weren't homemade! Then 20€ for that! No! Definitely not again!!!!

It's also very cozy on the ground floor and there are other foods besides kebab or pizza, which is a good thing

A visit is worth it if you spend the day in Grömitz, but you don't have to plan extra to go out to eat there. The food is quite good, we had burgers, schnitzel and something with fish. The view of the Baltic Sea and the pier is like the pictures they advertise. There is an outside area and options to sit inside.

Ich dachte, es wäre etwas Besonderes und gerade deshalb war ich so enttäuscht. Als erstes fällt mir auf, wenn es unsauber ist. Unter dem Tisch lagen Essensreste und die Sitzkissen waren auch voller Flecken. Fish and Chips kenne ich im Original aus England. Damit hatte das nichts zu tun. Die Qualität der 2 Filetstücke war gut. Aber die Pommes total trocken. Nachdem das kleine Pöttchen gewöhnlichen Dips leer war, konnte ich die Pommes nicht weiter essen. Und das für 16,50 Euro. Mein Freund hatte dieselben Pommes plus Henssler-Style. Das bedeutete plus rohe Zwiebelscheiben und ein paar Kräuter. Das machte es auch nicht besser. Der Burger war okay. Insgesamt haben wir 50 Euro bezahlt. 7 Euro für Getränke. Einmal und nie wieder. Ach so, die Aussicht aufs Meer war schön.

Der Aufenthalt ansich war okay, ist nichts besonderes. Das Essen war gut, Preis /- Leistung ist stimmig. Umliegenden Restaurants haben ähnliches Preisniveau. Der Ausbilck ist schon geil, schön die Ostsee mit Seebrücke. Der Breich bzw Wintergarten oder wie sie das nennen ist okay, heute war ein windiger Tag und einige Gäste hatten ihre Jacke an, war bisschen frisch/kühl darin, da helfen zwei Wärmelampen nicht besonders. Das Essen ist gut, macht satt und das für lange Zeit aber das es einen umhaut kann ich nicht sagen. Die Limonaden sind lecker. Der Innenbereich wirkt einladener, wer sich gerne die Küche anschaut bzw wer sich interessiert wie Speisen zubereitet werden, sollte drin sitzen. Im gesamten, für einen kleinen Snack für zwischen durch eignet sich das Ahoi.

First of all: I can't understand the negative reviews! Great food, great service and a great view. We even found the price cheaper than other restaurants in the area. We had: potato pancakes for our daughter, Ahoi salads as a starter, Teriaki chicken bowl and the chicken burger for the main course. Everything was super delicious. Drinks were also excellent. LG

...there is definitely still room for improvement in terms of service. Because there were hardly any guests there, we had to wait too long... again and again... It starts with the sign "please wait, you will be seated"... Why wait when everything is empty? ...the guests in front of us simply left.... Afterwards, they were constantly "overlooked" at the table? Maybe better next time....🤔🤷

As with the North Sea in Otterndorf, the food here was very, very good. My favorite is the ShushiBowl. It makes sense to reserve, it worked well online

A quick portion of Henssler Style fries is always possible and is highly recommended.

Spontaneously decided to take a look and get another spot. Was the right decision - great tasting creations: Chrispy Shrimp Boal - so delicious, with sweet potato fries Henssler style - absolutely recommended. When we come by an Ahoy again we will take a look again!

Wir haben mal wieder sehr lecker gegessen. Der Service war prima, zuvorkommend und schnell. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren enttäuscht. Karte wurde gekürzt. Hatten uns so gefreut, aber leider waren die Schnitzel so wie es aussah fertige. Der Seelachs und das Schnitzel nur aus der Fritteuse. Pommes scharf gewürzt aber Salz hatte gefehlt. Der Höhepunkt ist es regnete rein im vorderen Bereich . Das Beste war das Servicepersonal. Sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed on our third visit. Schnitzel unfortunately unspectacular. Bowl great. But would like better care of the locations in the basement......

Online Tisch bestellt, das ging einfach und schnell. Dann der Empfang - natürlich per Du, das muss anscheinend heute so sein. Aber so penetrant betont war es dann doch strange- als würde das Mädel am Empfang uns seit Jahren kennen. Dann zum Tisch geleitet, erste Reihe am Fenster, toll! Aber Hinsetzen geht kaum - Tische viel zu eng gestellt - ohne den Nachbarn einen Kick von hinten zu geben. Zur Karte - tja, Burger, Bowl oder Fish&Chips (die gibt’s auch im Erdgeschoss take away, aber etwas günstiger - zu den Preisen komme ich noch). Also Burger mit Pommes - deutlich über 20 Euro - na ja ist halt Henssler und wahrscheinlich toll… Nicht lange warten und Essen kommt schon - sooo schnell??? Das muss ja schon fertig da auf uns gewartet haben🤔 Kommen wir zur Qualität - Burger durchschnittlich, nix besonderes, Hensslers Spezial-Super-Signature-Soße ist wohl auch eher von Hamker oder Hela. Aber die „Krönung“ sind die Pommes - die sind so salzig, die ziehen einem „das Hemd in die Ritze“. Da sie aber gar nicht so salzig aussahen, vermuteten wir eher, dass sie vorher roh oder vorfrittiert in Salzlake eingelegt waren - ein Prosit auf den Getränkeumsatz! Kaum aufgegessen, Teller fort, obligatorische Frage nach Kaffee etc. (Ok, an der Aufmerksamkeit des Personal gabs nichts zu meckern). Nach Verneinung umgehend Rechnung und Tschüss. Gute Stunde, nächster! Zusammengefasst: Völlig überhypter Laden mit nicht so genanntem Fast Food mittlerer Qualität und mehreren Ausschlägen nach unten bei Details. Hensslers Name zieht anscheinend im Moment noch, aber man merkt deutlich, dass er nur für Karte und Signatures steht, der Rest ist Franchise und auch nicht anders als bei anderen. Fazit: Beim nächsten Mal gehen wir woanders hin, das war deutlich zu teuer für (bestenfalls) Durchschnitt, deshalb auch nur zwei Punkte.

Das Schnitzel mit ca. 3mm Fleisch einfach zu dünn, Zwiebeln auf den Fritten auch nicht mein Ding. Wir hätten gerne noch einen Cocktail getrunken, aber es war im Lokal zu kalt dafür. Waren im Mai in Wismar, das hat uns besser gefallen.

Ate fish and chips. It was okay but nothing special considering the name in mind.

Are currently in Grömitz and are on vacation. Discovered the restaurant/restaurant by chance. Very nice atmosphere. However, I would have used the same chairs everywhere instead of the white ones with blue upholstery. I found it a little messy. But that doesn't detract from my rating! I thought the portions of the food would be small given the increased price. That wasn't the case at all! Large portions, so the price is okay. All in all, it was a nice evening with delicious drinks and good food.

I was eating there with friends last week and my food was the only thing that was forgotten, so I couldn't start eating until later than my friends. I was then promised a dessert on the house as compensation, but when I wanted to take advantage of this I was told the kitchen was already closed and I could only get ice cream. I thought it was okay, as long as I got something to make up for it on the house, but the icing on the cake was that the waiter also charged me for the ice cream, which I noticed afterwards.
