Went to the restaurant yesterday. Unfortunately the menu wasn't what we had hoped for. We ate so deliciously here in 2023. It's a shame it's no longer there. It's also a shame that there is no longer any sushi to buy downstairs. This was fantastic! We're really disappointed that so much has been cut in just one year. 😞

Nice atmosphere, fantastic view, chairs not very comfortable. We were looking forward to the evening, but unfortunately there was only fast food, but according to Henssler style, we were hoping for a little more and won't go there again.

The fries are super tasty but I don't think it's okay to pay €1 for an additional dollop of ketchup or mayo

Skepticism turned into pleasant enthusiasm! The atmosphere is attractive and modern, the service was very courteous and friendly and the food was almost perfect. The portion size is absolutely sufficient for a “normal” eater. Conclusion: We'll be back!

Attention ‼️ nothing works here without a reservation 😋 a great ambience and the perfect location right on the beach promenade with a great view of the beach and the Baltic Sea. The friendly service staff makes the stay very pleasant right from the start. Drinks/food are ordered and served quickly. Did I mention the great service staff? Everything tasted very good and we were very excited 🤩

We have known the location in Grömitz since it opened. The taste was always great and the service was always quick and friendly. Unfortunately, this year we noticed that the portions of the sushi bowls are becoming smaller and more expensive compared to the beginning. And charging €4 for a dollop of truffle ponzu butter almost borders on megalomania. As I said, we were satisfied for a long time, but given the price/performance ratio, we won't be seeing it again anytime soon. Grömitz is very well positioned in terms of cuisine, so you can also get your fill elsewhere.

Everything was great, very tasty, friendly and very attentive service! Price/performance appropriate. We'll be back!

We were here in the evening and got a table in the second row by booking in advance. We knew that beforehand and had no problem with it. We were still surprised at how well we could see the Baltic Sea from the window. Tables are far apart. Food came quickly and was very tasty. We really enjoyed the homemade lemonade. “Hennsler Style” is highly recommended. It wasn't particularly busy, so we can't say anything about the service during busy times, as criticized in other reviews. The waitresses were friendly and in a good mood.

Good morning, Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food itself. This is because we wanted to reserve a table for lunch on August 13th, 2024. What the lady on the phone said was; This would not be necessary as there would definitely be space for 2 people. Unfortunately, when we arrived there at 7 p.m. in the evening, there was no place without a reservation. Not very happy about it.

The restaurant looks absolutely modern and chic from the outside, but at the same time traditional and typical of the country. The interior is in no way inferior to the exterior. Great furnishings, lots of little accents that reflect the Nordic scenery. Really really great! The service staff greeted you at the entrance with a big grin and were unbeatable in terms of attentiveness, politeness and speed. You felt totally welcome. The drinks are pleasantly chilled, the food is amazing!!! We had a teriyaki bowl, Henssler-style schnitzel, a side salad and fried fish for the children. None of them were spectacular dishes, but they were so deliciously prepared that I'm getting hungry again. Details can be seen in the pictures. By the way, the price is absolutely reasonable and within a good framework. The price-performance ratio is great. We had a great culinary experience and will definitely come back 😀

Never again. On day 1 we just wanted to buy a Henssler style fries. We were sent away because they didn't have any change. It can definitely happen. On day 2, at the same time (4:30 p.m.), we were sent away again because the cash register was supposedly defective. Unbelievable at this time. You could rather go straight to Gosch next door. Either you are swimming in wealth or you have resigned yourself to bankruptcy.

The food was very, very tasty but we waited for 2 hours, an employee was very unfriendly and the citizen didn't have any sauce and at the beginning I also got the wrong food. Service was very bad but the food was okay. Despite everything, the 2 hour wait wasn't worth it .

Definitely the best food on the promenade. At most other restaurants you get standard tourist food at exorbitant prices. Here you have delicious food, great service and a great view directly over the sea. It costs a few euros more, but it's worth it. The class difference is immediately noticeable.

My daughter and I had an excellent stay at Ahoi. If you compare the other restaurants on the promenade in particular, the Ahoi absolutely stands out in terms of price/performance. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with a lot of components on the plate for €16.50. The taste and appearance were absolutely great and the days before I had eaten significantly worse and at the same time more expensively. The potato pancakes for my daughter are also very fair at €6.50. For dessert there were delicious churros. The service was friendly and the view was of course spectacular. We'll definitely be back again this week!

We had takeaway several times. I thought, what can be done differently with fried fish, fish'n'chips and currywurst. The dishes were not only different, but also better. Juicy fish, spicy tartar sauce and sauces, delicious fries (not like the masses). The milkshakes were also very tasty. The service is friendly and helpful. The equipment and preparation area were very clean.

I've rarely experienced something so uncomfortable. Almost like being at the train station, even after the open roof was closed, we were still sitting on the train.

So incredibly delicious. Absolutely addictive. I wish I could eat the bowls every day. Tip: Be sure to include the topping. The €4 is worth it.

Very disappointing Food came wrong and late and the great homemade iced tea spritzer was watered down after a good 20 minutes and no longer tasted good, that was the last time. There are much better and cheaper restaurants nearby

Great service, food is okay, good portions, definitely tasty but nothing earth-shattering. The ambience is very nice and corresponds to the Baltic Sea. Sitting comfortably with a view of the Baltic Sea is particularly great for me personally.

The restaurant is located directly on the promenade and offers a very nice view of the Baltic Sea. We made a reservation at very short notice and were a bit lucky to get a table. After our arrival we were assigned a table and then unfortunately nothing happened for a while. No drinks, no food. So we quickly changed tables so we could at least enjoy the view of the Baltic Sea. After that, I have to say it went pretty quickly😊 the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, which could be explained by the high number of visitors. The food itself is delicious. I would give the restaurant a second chance

Everything was very tasty. Ambience very good. Sat on the terrace with a direct view of the sea. Service was very nice, drinks and food came very quickly, we didn't have to wait long. The waiting time was bridged with salty popcorn. All in all very nice.

Leider war Chicken aus als wir da waren. Das hätte man evtl direkt mitteilen können, somit mussten wir bei Bestellung nochmal neu schauen und neu wählen. Aber das Essen war nach Bestellung schnell da und sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr etwas kleiner geworden aber die Preise gleich. Aber das ist ja überall so. Also alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Essen geschmacklich top! Aussicht top! Bedienung top! Leider hat die Einrichtung ein bisschen gelitten, unser Tisch hat sehr unangenehm gewackelt, mehrere Stühle waren kaputt! Ich finde auch das die Portionen kleiner geworden sind, wir waren zu viert und bei gleicher Bestellung, waren sichtlich unterschiedliche Pommesmengen auf den Tellern, fanden die Kinder doof. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder!

Wir haben nach 1 1/2 Stunden erst auf Nachfragen das Essen erhalten, obwohl diverse Tische, an denen später bestellt wurde ihr Essen viel früher erhalten haben. Das war an einem weiteren Tisch genauso. Die waren konsequent und sind dann gegangen. Ich hatte um Wasser für meinen Hund gebeten, welches wir auch nicht bekommen haben. Ich hoffe es war eine Ausnahme. Die Person im Service wirkte überfordert.

Very nice, right on the beach with sea views. The food tastes great and the staff is very friendly. Our child even received a small coloring book and crayons to bridge the waiting time.

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach im Ahoi in Grömitz - wir sind begeistert vom Essen und vor allem vom netten Serviceteam. Das einzige was wir in Grömitz vermissen ist die Sushi-Bar. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder In das Restaurant .

I have to say really nice service and also very attentive. At the beginning you get a cup of popcorn. This is a nice idea for taking the bus to dinner as a pastime. Food was okay and tasted good.

Great atmosphere, the service was top and friendly. The food was just awesome! This Asian touch that is packed into classic burgers or similar is simply brilliant. Seared tuna sashimi with truffle butter and ponzu sauce... Simply a poem. Smart ideas like the Hensler Style sweet potato fries. People go and test. Simply good.

Food delicious but unfortunately different every time one day beautifully served with lemon etc. the next day nothing more salad much less and no more decoration and when asked for fries please ONLY with salt the fries were simply seasoned with salt in the shell of the fries with fries salt and that's it Unfortunately, it's not a shame at all Unfortunately there is only mass processing there too

Hello, we had dinner at Ahoi again today. We were able to reserve a table for six people at 6 p.m. Half an hour later was not possible. We were on time. It wasn't overly crowded. After 20 minutes (!) we were able to place our order. Popcorn only came when asked. After a whopping 50 minutes our food arrived. For two children, but also for us adults, an eternity! The food itself was, as always, delicious. But unfortunately some were already hungry. Hmh, what can I say, not so quickly again.

Mein Burger 🍔 war lauwarm, die Fritten lauwarm bis kalt. Mayonnaise oder ketchup kosten extra. Die speziellen Henssler pommes sind versalzen! Der mojito drink war das Beste meiner Bestellung, obwohl man auch feineren Zucker nehmen könnte... Der Blick aus dem Panoramafenster ist das Allerbeste. Ich werde nicht mehr zum Essen kommen, sorry.

The two of us had dinner yesterday afternoon. The burgers were super tasty. It is a taste experience that is very difficult to find elsewhere. The friendly service was very polite and accommodating. The price-performance ratio was also right. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it.

Unfortunately, I have to edit my review from 2023. First I have to mention that I only review street sales. However, since this is really bad, I'll save myself the indoor area or the restaurant. The street snack bar is staffed with the same, totally overwhelming staff, day in and day out, until around 6 p.m. The quality and also the price-performance ratio leave a lot to be desired. The dish I praised is just bad. Save yourself: I'm sorry you had to go through those experiences...Blah blah blah. It's disappointing... We tried the normal fries and the Henssler style fries at the Kurpromenade sale. The fries are really great...there's nothing there. Unfortunately, you can forget about fish and chips. Just calling this fried part a fish is really a stretch. I will continue to eat here because a lot of things are good, but please replace this imitation fish. :-)

Wir hatten Burger, Fisch&Chips und Currywurst, Eisschokolade und Churros. Alles sehr lecker und sehr freundlicher Service. Essen kam sehr schnell... Bei den Zusatzbestellungen ist noch Luft nach oben (Pommes ohne Soße und Soße ohne Pommes sind doof)! Wir würden aber jederzeit wieder kommen!

Unfortunately, the portion of the Tuna Bowl was quite small compared to the Ahoi in Wendtorf. I received a much larger portion there. The ambience is very nice with a view of the Baltic Sea. The service was okay, but the waiter made me feel like I was leaving the restaurant quickly. There is still room for improvement. I noticed that there are also qualitative differences in the food at the different locations.

Die preise haben seit 2023 deutlich angezogen und die Portionen sind kleiner geworden. Auswahl ist auch kleiner geworden. Schade, sehr enttäuschend.

Das Essen im Ahoi ist wirklich super. Die Tuna Bowl und auch die Chicken Bowl mit der Trüffel Ponzu Butter ist geschmacklich wahnsinnig gut. Doch leider werden die Portionen immer kleiner und die Preise sind ordentlich angezogen worden. Alleine das kleine Bischen Trüffel Ponzu Schaum ist von letztem Jahr auf dieses Jahr von 2,50 € auf 4,00 € angezogen worden. Die Tuna Bowl ist ebenfalls von 18,50 € auf stolze 21,50 € angehoben worden. Zusammen mit der geringeren Menge macht das eine Preiserhöhung von ca. 30% innerhalb eines Jahres, was meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu viel ist. Aber das Essen an sich ist einfach super. Auch der Service war bisher immer toll, was bisher auch immer mit einem großen „Tip“ gedankt wurde.

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort und es war immer eine Geschmacksexplosion. Mit Hund auch völlig okay. Bei Hitze geht's Dach auf. Gute Atmosphäre

Sehr schöner Abend gewesen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren gestern mit unserem kleinen Hund da und die Kellnerin hat gleich gefragt ob er Wasser haben möchte, das sieht man nicht immer. Die Kellnerin super freundlich gewesen. Wir kommen im nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder. 😊

Great view, service was on point. Online booking was completed very easily within 2 minutes on the beach. Unfortunately there was too much coriander in the food for our taste, so we ended up throwing it out. But it's complaining at a high level. Always happy.

Moin, der ganze Aufenthalt war top, Essen bombastisch, Bedienung Tip Top, war nur ein wenig zugig. Aber im Gesamten einfach Klasse.

Das Essen (Burger) war sehr lecker und auch die Limonade hat sehr gut geschmeckt (nicht allzu süß) aber der Preis von 20€ für einen Burger mit Pommes plus 1€ extra für Ketchup ist schon ziemlich hoch. Das Ambiente (Tisch am Fenster mit Meerblick) war super und auch das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam!

Service was really nice and friendly. Thank you. We'll definitely come back. However, the toilets are in the basement and can only be reached via stairs, so not for people who may not be able to walk well.

The food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. The only point of criticism is that the elevator that is available is better signposted. We just checked if there was one because we were traveling with a stroller. I think a lot of people walk past it because they don't know there is an elevator.

Delicious bar food - reinterpreted with various herbs and spices. The fries in particular are excellent. The service is very friendly and accommodating and the location is excellent with a view over the beach to the sea and the pier. We'd love to come back!

We were really looking forward to this visit. We received a super friendly welcome and the service was simply perfect. Our choice fell on the burgers and we just say.....tasty.... Steffen understood that children don't need any frills on their burgers and we particularly praise them for that. So we recommend without reservation and look forward to the next time.
