We went to the Schwarzer Bären for lunch on a Sunday in February and loved it. Everything was perfect, from the ambience to the service and of course the food. This was definitely not our last visit.

We were there for lunch today, five people, the restaurant was very busy and yet we didn't wait too long. Normal preparation time for homemade food and it was super tasty, everyone enjoyed it very much. the portions are relatively large and generous. Price-performance ratio is top here, both for drinks and food. The landlord was very friendly and the atmosphere fits here very well. Thank you very much, we would love to come back 😊

Old Man Holger and his charming waitress Silvana conjure up a new, small menu every week. He has earned the title of "personal chef" for his quality, sophisticated cuisine, and constant innovation. A must-try for the Erzgebirge region. A special tip is the Dämmerschoppen (twilight get-together). Thematically themed dishes, ideas, and new creations are presented with love, skill, and imagination. Registration is required; information is available through the usual media outlets.

Even without a reservation, a table for two was still set up for us. Great food and friendly hosts. We'd love to come back. But then, we'll have to reserve.

It was delicious, although it was a bit noisy due to the large number of guests on Sunday, and some things got a bit mixed up. But the plus point: Very friendly and accommodating, and the quality is probably better than under the previous owners, according to my family. Another cool thing: We're planning on going to the Skoda convention this year and found out by chance that they own the pub because the car was parked outside. Overall, we can highly recommend the restaurant; they serve many familiar dishes with a modern twist. Good value for money!

The noodles stir-fried with grilled duck are simply delicious. I recommend.

The saloon is sooooo beautiful. It's a shame it's not always open. At least on one or two days with the smallest menu or just for drinking and getting together. We have been here in the holiday village many times. The operators are so nice and make a lot of things possible at an absolutely fair price. It just doesn't work for free. It's a shame that the industry is currently... is so difficult (Corona, everything is getting more expensive, etc.).

There were 4 of us there for 2 nights with half board. 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms were big enough, certainly a bit old. But still very well thought out. The beds were very comfortable! We all slept very well! Speaks for very good mattresses. The breakfast was really great. There's a lot of choice, I just couldn't find the bowls for the cornflakes/yoghurt. But everyone still enjoyed it very much. The dinner was always very plentiful, tasty and something for every taste! We felt comfortable and the price-performance ratio was also good. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended! Gladly again!

We visited this hotel over Easter, we booked half board and an Easter special! The location of this hotel is simply wonderful. I've never had such peaceful nights. At times I woke up because it was so quiet. I live in a city where the only peace and quiet is in the garden ☺️ I would like to say that the staff were all very nice, only one lady seemed a bit stressed. Every time someone spoke to you, stressed and a bit surly, but it was certainly also a character thing! Everyone else in this hotel did their best, was friendly helpful, just great! I would like to give a lot of praise to the trainees and the youth brigade at dinner, despite clearly a lot of work during the day, always courteous, polite, nice and quick, it was a lot of fun. I wish the girls all the best for their future professional lives and lots of fun in what is a very stressful job. Regarding half board, the breakfast in the Schwarzbeerschänke is very sufficient, very varied and tasted very good every day. You can tell that it is made with love. Perfect! For dinner, I would like to say, first of all, I would like to give the chef a huge compliment, i.e. maybe I would rather say it to the entire cooking crew. I haven't enjoyed such good home-style food in a long time. You're really doing your job very well. The food is perfectly prepared. Even the side salad was a pleasure every time!!! The half board included a starter that is not on the menu and a dessert that is not on the menu in the evening. As a main course you can choose a meal from the menu. We had an Easter menu with lamb and rabbit and an asparagus menu where every meal had asparagus! The food was really first class. We enjoyed it every day, which we noticed a little bit on our hips after five days.☺️ big compliments again to the kitchen and especially to the service🤗 The rooms are functionally furnished, not particularly large at least for us, but very clean and very tidy. The bathrooms could see a craftsman's hand here and there, but all in all too. The bathrooms were great! What I liked best was the bed linen. It was so pleasantly light and yet warm when you lay on the outside. I've never slept so well in bed linen. I would have loved to take her with me.☺️ All in all, this hotel is really highly recommended because the hiking trails lead along there, you don't have to walk far to go hiking and the peace and quiet is just amazing. I would love to stay there again!!! The Easter arrangement was great. We had a little Easter surprise in our room on Easter Sunday and the visit to the Molchner Stollen was also well worth seeing.
