Even our telephone reservation for our family lunch was handled with the utmost friendliness. Our party of 12 enjoyed a delicious and creatively presented lunch in the cozy, separate, and lovingly decorated dining room. The appetizers, main course, and finally the delectable dessert were all praised. The service was attentive and friendly. We will gladly return.

We always enjoy coming here. The food is beautifully prepared in a traditional style, and the portions are generous (see photos). The restaurant is well-located and easy to reach. In the summer, it's wonderful to sit outside; there's an outdoor bar and plenty of seating for a relaxing hour. We generally love the decor, as everything is steeped in history, and all the items are unique, giving the ambiance a special flair. It's suitable for both small and large groups. Great for family events. The owner is very friendly, and you can have a great chat with him. They offer special beers and other delicacies that are rarely found in the mountains. You can also enjoy a good sweet wine and various other alcoholic drinks (I'm not familiar with the different types of beer). We'll definitely be back. P.S. Sometimes the cell phone reception is poor, so it's advisable to have cash on hand, but other payment options are available. We highly recommend it and hope everyone will have a wonderful time here, just like we did.

Holger, the veteran chef, and his charming head waitress Silvana conjure up a new, small menu every week. He has earned the title of "personal chef" through his quality, high-end cuisine, and constant stream of new ideas. A must-visit in the Ore Mountains region. A special tip is the evening get-together. Themed dishes, ideas, and new creations are presented with great care, skill, and imagination. Reservations are required; information is available through the usual media outlets.
