We've been to the Laubachtsmühle many times in the past and have always enjoyed the rustic ambiance and the delicious food, especially the mouflon meat. The disappointment on our last visit with four of us was all the greater. What happened in the kitchen that afternoon is a mystery to us. Three of the three schnitzel cordon bleu we ordered were brought to the table undercooked. This was not only unappetizing, but simply unacceptable. After we complained and discovered that the schnitzels were inedible, three more schnitzel cordon bleu were brought to us twice, and these were also undercooked and partly raw. Naturally, we lost all appetite. The icing on the cake was the bill: We had to pay for everything except one meal and one drink, which ultimately amounted to €80 for fries and drinks. We find this completely incomprehensible and demonstrates a lack of goodwill. It's a real shame to see how a restaurant we remembered so fondly has deteriorated so much. Whether it's due to a new chef or other circumstances, we can't say. However, the fact is that this visit was a bitter disappointment, and we will probably avoid the Laubachtsmühle in the future. After this experience, we unfortunately no longer recommend the Laubachtsmühle. The quality of the food was poor, and the response to our complaint was disappointing. What a pity about the lovely ambiance! Bye, Laubachtsmühle!

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, kleines Restaurant. Sehr nette, aufmerksame und zügige Bedienung. Die Preise absolut moderat. Das Essen war hervorragend, exzellent, einfach köstlich im besten Sinne des Wortes!! Dieses kleinere, aber sehr feine Restaurant ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Very good food friendly and fast delivery

Not recommended. Ordered here for delivery and had to wait over 1 1/2 hours. The delivery date has been adjusted several times. The burgers were dry, the salad was old and bland. Dishes were forgotten in the delivery. When we called the restaurant, it was almost impossible to have a conversation due to a lack of language skills. A guest was called to the phone... A refund was not offered either. I won't order here again. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Pizzas are great - service is very nice - we'll be back

preferably 0 stars. Received a different pizza than ordered... called and was accused of having ordered exactly that pizza, which is not true. The boss shouts at me on the phone, complaining constantly that it would be more expensive somewhere else... I should be content with that and "leave him alone", then hung up cheekily. Never again…

The food was okay, the portions were adequate, and it tasted good. We were more than surprised by the really reasonable price. Where else can you get a 0.3L Coke for €1.50? The food is also inexpensive. Crispy duck was €11, fried noodles with chicken breast were €5.50, etc. There were four of us, and we paid €43 for four main courses, including drinks. Very good value for money. The only thing is that the ambiance doesn't exactly make you want to eat in.

The food is tasty, but very greasy and the portions are far too small for the prices. In Neuwied you can get a portion twice as big for €3 less. This place thrives on the location, for which they apparently pay a lot of rent. In any case, the prices cannot be explained by the quality of the food.

Super tasty with the herbs, then went there twice and didn't even get a kebab...it wore off

Absolutely delightful little bar. Definitely a local spot. We just decided to stop in for a drink and most things are closed on Wednesdays around town. Beer was cold, with one beer on tap. The owner was very welcoming along with the local patrons! Out of all of Germany this was one of my favorite places we stopped!
