The Castello Restaurant is simply the best restaurant in Neuwied. The outdoor and indoor areas are simply super relaxed, perfect for sitting. The decor inside and outside is perfectly tailored to the restaurant and designed with lots of love 🥰. The service was very polite and courteous, and the cuisine was excellent 👌🏼. The food was simply delicious; the salmon in hollandaise sauce was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The salad was fresh and delicious 😋. I can only recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience, as the service is impeccable and the quality is simply perfect. 😁 I ordered takeout from the Castello Restaurant again. It is simply the best restaurant in Neuwied 😁. The service was very friendly, both inside and outside, perfectly tailored to the restaurant 👌🏼. The food was delicious 😋, perfectly prepared, and the salad was super tasty, fresh, and crisp ☺️. There's simply nothing to complain about, I would order again anytime and can only recommend it😉!!!

We were there to eat today. Unfortunately, there were extremely many wasps on the road, which was very problematic for my wife - the allergy sufferer. That's why she got into the car early while I was still waiting for the payment. She had asked to pack the rest of the food (just two pieces) to take away. After paying, I asked if the food was packed - unfortunately I was informed that it was already thrown away. It was very annoying and absolutely unnecessary. Simply packing would have been possible without any problems and would have avoided waste of food. Such situations should be handled more sensitively - especially if guests have to go earlier due to health reasons.

The salad was delicious, the pasta was good. The service probably wasn't so good today 🙃 (Something went wrong, no cutlery at the table, a bit unfriendly, a bit forgetful). In any case, they should check whether the salt at the table is working properly.

Everything is delicious, whether it's pizza, pasta, or salad. There's also a constantly changing specials menu with seasonal offerings. Very friendly staff and manager, and everything is very clean.

The stone-baked pizzas were absolutely amazing! They were beautifully fluffy and crispy. Our service was super friendly, and the Italian music added the perfect touch to the ambiance! It was truly the perfect end to our rowing trip. We'd love to come back!

Very nice restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the theater in Neuwied

This was our first visit: Wow!!!!!!!! We haven't been here for two years because our taste experiences back then were anything but recommendable. Today's surprise is all the greater. We had a starter soup (tomato soup), pizzas, combinations, calamaris, an Italian salad, tortellini alla panna and dessert and everything... but really everything... the taste was "first class"! Sure, the pizza is a little small, but you'll still be full. And let's be honest: finally a great taste experience is worth a lot more than xxl portions of standard sauces. Keep it up! We would be happy to come back if the kitchen maintains this quality. The fifth point only comes when I can experience this taste experience again and the service staff manages to entertain their guests with the relaxed Italian charm and a smile. Addendum: We have now eaten there twice and were disappointed by the quality of the food. It seemed to us as if the kitchen had been reoccupied. The food was just average... a shame. Hence the correction of the “stars”.

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, kleines Restaurant. Sehr nette, aufmerksame und zügige Bedienung. Die Preise absolut moderat. Das Essen war hervorragend, exzellent, einfach köstlich im besten Sinne des Wortes!! Dieses kleinere, aber sehr feine Restaurant ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We've been there several times for lunch and enjoyed the menu. There's a changing selection of always delicious soups and a delicious dessert. The main course is excellent, whether pizza, pasta, or meat. Highly recommended! We love it!

We were here yesterday for the first time, and certainly not the last. From the recommended menu, we had the Arg. rump steak with truffle pasta. The meat was excellently prepared, flavorful, a delight. Regarding the wait times: if I can't wait, I'll go to a fast-food restaurant. The employee who served us was a perfect hostess: competent, friendly, personable, and approachable. The menu: small but fine, with something for everyone. It doesn't have to be the 48 pizzas and 30 pasta dishes. It's better to have fewer, but top-quality options. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here with my wife because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, this was not done justice. We had two pizzas. Unfortunately, my wife's was not completely cooked through, the vegetables still had a lot of bite and a certain topping was completely forgotten. My pizza was burnt from the bottom and I had to have it returned. The waitress' comment: "The chef only had one job... sigh". Unfortunately the pizza we ordered wasn't finished either, there was hardly any meat left and mostly raw onions. In general the pizzas also had little taste.

Wir haben noch keinen schlechteren Italiener gefunden. Pizza mangelhaft. Nudelgericht ohne Geschmack. Einmal und nie wieder.

Update: unfortunately the restaurant is no longer what it once was... Maybe another chef!!?? At least the friendliest waiter in the world is no longer there, the menu is different, the vegetable pizza only has tomatoes and broccoli instead of grilled vegetables. More expensive and worse than last years. Service poor - unfortunately not for me anymore. The food was very tasty, the homemade bread for the starter was wonderfully fluffy and warm. The service was very nice, unobtrusive but quick to help if needed. See you next time!

Very friendly and very good food quality

We visited this restaurant based on the reviews and pictures. The menu was a very reduced version of the menu that can be found here under the pictures. The pizzas were greasy and the dough unfortunately wasn't as airy as you can see in the pictures. Our visit to the restaurant lasted two hours, most of which we had to wait for our food. Even though we only ordered one course. During the long waiting time, we only received the information that our food was coming “immediately” when we asked. After another 30 minutes we were finally able to eat. Unfortunately we didn't receive any attention, such as a bread basket, for the long waiting time. The service was generally very uncoordinated and scarce.

Heard a lot of positive things beforehand. Service totally overwhelmed. People preferred to play on their cell phones instead of asking for drinks. It took a full 70 minutes for our food to be brought. The salad looked fresh, the taste of the dressing was not good. At first I wasn't asked how I would like my steak. It was burnt on top, not medium rare on the inside, but still half raw and unevenly fried. The fries were like in the outdoor pool. Not crispy at all. The mushrooms were good. My companions' pizza was average. When the billing staff asked if it was tasty, I said no. There was no reaction and everyone smiled away. This is not how I imagine a visit to a restaurant.

We were there again yesterday...everything was very nice and clean, we had a reservation. Service was very friendly, the food was very tasty. We had a combinazione, salad Al Castello and bread with it. Looking forward to next time.

Last time I set foot in this place, arrogant and unprofessional staff. I expected a completely different attitude being a good customer. Very long waiting times. Prices increased dramatically, average quality. Disappointed...

Quality at a fair price in a modern atmosphere. So far, the various dishes have all been very tasty for us and some of the portions are too big. I find drinks a bit expensive.

We ordered here again today after a long time and we have to say that we are really thrilled! The food arrived hot and was really good. The pizzas were nicely cooked as requested. Unfortunately, a dressing was forgotten, but it was delivered straight away with a small can of cola as an excuse. Gladly again!

Nach einem spontanen Anruf mit der Frage, ob wir kommen könnten spontan mit 8-10 Leuten vorbeigekommen, wurde uns gesagt: „Komm vorbei, wir schaffen das“ und sie hatten wirklich viel zu tun Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Nett und aufmerksamer Service, das Essen kam ziemlich schnell. Preise waren nicht überteuert. Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Waren immer Ich komme gerne wieder auf Sie zurück und empfehle Sie weiter.

Wir waren vor einem Theaterbesuch dort und es war rundum super. Service flink und nett, Getränke gut, Essen sehr lecker und Preise völlig in Ordnung.

Nicht nochmals. Bis jemand zu uns an den Tisch kam dauerte es ewig. Ich wollte schon gehen. Dazu muss man sagen das wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Die Pizzen waren gut aber klein und mit durchschnittlich 14 Euro sehr teuer. Die den Getränken ebenfalls. Es gibt tatsächlich keinen Grund dort noch einmal hinzugehen.

Ich kann mich nicht beklagen. Reservierung war easy. Ambiente ist ok. Bedienung proffesionell und freundlich. Auswahl war gut. Tagesangebote Sehr gut.Essen war sehr gut. Preis Leistungsverhältnis Gut bis sehr Gut. Alles in allem Bewertung bei Sehr Gut und wir kommen im Sommer wieder um draußen zu sitzen.

Zu teuer , Toiletten nicht sauber und Spülung kaputt, stinkt im Restaurante , Speisekarte zu wenig im Angebot ...

Essen war fantastisch. Selten so gut gegessen. Preislich ebenfalls sehr gut. Auch der Service war absolut toll! 5Sterne in jeglicher Hinsicht!

Wir waren an verschiedenen Wochentagen und zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten im Al Castello. Wir wurden immeer freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war immer frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Es spricht für das Restaurant, dass nicht immer alle Gerichte zur Verfügung stehen (z.B. Pizza Frutti de Mare), wenn die Zutaten aus sind. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top. Einzig die Geräuschkulisse bei voll besetzem Lokal ist etwas störend, aber der Bauweise der Räumlichkeiten geschuldet. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Die "italienischste" Pizza im Umkreis. Leckerer knuspriger Teig, Rand nicht zu breit und (!) Fior di Latte, kein billig Käse. Sind durch unser Gutscheinbuch dort hin gekommen und es ist jetzt unsere Stammpizzeria .

Wir hatten bei telefonischer Bestellung extra angekündigt, dass wir mit dem Gutscheinbuch kommen. Am Anfang habe ich erneut erwähnt, dass mein Freund das Gutscheinbuch am Auto holt. Abgerechnet wurde der volle Preis mit der Begründung, dass man das vorher ankündigen muss. Stornieren war angeblich nicht möglich. Sehr enttäuschend und nicht Kundenfreundlich. Wir wären gerne wiedergekommen, da das Essen lecker war, aber so leider nicht.

Sehr hübsch. Pizza war lecker, Zutaten frisch. Bedienung freundlich. Stern Abzug, weil ich der Meinung bin das Hunde IM Restaurant nicht sein dürfen. Wir haben selbst einen Hund, sind keine Hundefeinde, aber irgendwie gehört sich das nicht.

Immer wieder ein wirklich sensationeller Genuss. Ich liebe es einfach, wenn das Essen heiss serviert wird. Gut gewürzt und dazu so portionsweise, dass jeder satt und glücklich ist. Ich finde die Sauberkeit und das schöne Ambiente genauso top wie auch die tolle Lage. Egal ob ein zu einem date für zwei, ein Essen mit Freunden/Familien oder mit dem Betrieb es ist wirklich ideal für verschiedene Anlässe. Personal ist bemüht und ist wirklich fleißig. Dürfte ein Hauch mehr positiver Elan und Wirbel sein, weil das Italienische Blut schon viele lebensfrohe und charmante Persönlichkeiten hervorhebt. Von mir für das schöne Fundament neuwieds 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mittagessen (Pizza, Salat) war ganz ok.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, wir waren schon öfter in diesem italienischen Restaurant. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Lachs, sowie das Steak mit Rucola. Aber auch die Pizza ist super. Die Preise sind auch total in Ordnung. Der Service ist super freundlich und drinnen ist es auch total gemütlich. Alles in allem kann man das Restaurant sehr empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder hier hin. Immer wieder super.

Sehr sehr lecker... Da gibts absolut nix auszusetzen. Als kleines Highlight gab es noch ein Dessert aufs Haus der das tolle Essen wirklich abgerundet hat. Der Service war wirklich toll. Es wurde sich ohne Nachfrage um Wespen gekümmert. Wenn ich mal wieder in neuwied bin gehts wieder hier hin zum Essen!

Mehr aus Zufall wurden wir auf diese Pizzeria aufmerksam. Das Lokal verfügt über Aussen- und Innenplätze. Die übersichtliche Speisekarte enthält primär italienische Gerichte. Zudem gibt es 3 Mittagsgerichte. Die Preise bewegen sich im mittleren Bereich. Wir bestellten einen ital. Salat mit Thunfisch und von der Tageskarte Schnitzel Hawaii mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel hatte einen leicht süßlichen Geschmack, da die Ananasstücke wohl Dosenware waren (gesüßt) und die Pommes hätten knackiger sein können. Der Thunfischsalat war sehr gut. Incl. Getränke zahlten wir rd. 37,00€, was noch akzeptabel erscheint, Bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich; das Ambiente war o.K.. Fazit: Jeder sollte sich bei einem Besuch selbst ein Bild machen. Aus unserer Sicht ist die Pizzeria eher ein Kann, aber kein Muss.

Das komplett renovierte Restaurant ist schon optisch der „Burner“. Aber auch alle Speisen (wir waren zu acht) haben rundum überzeugt. Bestes Restaurant in Neuwied !!!!

Heute Mittag eine sehr schmackhafte Pizza Tonno gegessen, in einer ausreichenden Größe und einen kleinen Salat mit Kirschtomaten und Oliven mit Balsamico Dressing ! Umbau sehr gelungen, mir gefällt das Grün am Besten und die ausgefallene Tapete ! Es gibt sogar König-Pilsener vom Fass ! Und als Abschluss einen heißen Expresso, perfekt ! Was will man mehr ? Ich kann das Lokal nur empfehlen !

Nach rd. einjähriger Umbauphase ist seit kurzem wieder geöffnet. Das neue Ambiente gefällt mir, aber das ist auch alles. Die Speisekarte ist gewaltig geschrumpft und umfasst gerade mal 1 DIN-A4-Blatt. Die Portionen sind auch kleiner geworden. Das Küchenpersonal hat scheinbar gewechselt, denn der Geschmack von früher wird nicht mehr erreicht. Von 3 Servicekräften sprechen und verstehen 2 so gut wie kein Deutsch. Alles in allem ein etwas frustrierendes Erlebnis.

Die Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge und das Tirami sú , alles 100%. Service: Nett, Freundlich. Preis-Leistung = Sehr Gut. Einzige Minuspunkt, man kann nur Cash/Bar zahlen, keine Kredit oder Ec Karten.

Hat geschmeckt wie eine halbgare Fertigpizza. Die Shrimps waren in der Mitte noch kalt. Den einen Punkt gebe ich für das Weizenbier, das war ok.

Как итальянка могу сказать, что блюда почти все по оригинальным рецептам, с добавлением немецкой нотки (то есть сливок посюду!). Карбонару со сливками не пробовала, но не советую. А вот Tagliatelle alla boscaiola, несмотря на густой соус из сливок с томатами, мне очень понравились! Тем более, что такую большую порцию всего за 8€! Подается паста с хлебными булочками и сыром. Стакан газированной воды с лимоном 1,70€. Меню имеет большой и разнообразный выбор. Блюда все итальянские! Поэтому должно быть вкусно. Официант очень доброжелательный и внимательный, даже если было много клиентов, а он был один. Кузня работает очень быстро! Мне понравилось!
