The breakfast buffet is simply amazing! I have never experienced such a selection of extremely high product quality anywhere. I'm very surprised at some of the negative reviews here. Well, I actually don't like pancakes, so I don't miss them. But there are normal croissants, chocolate croissants and a very tasty looking cake. You can order egg dishes if you wish. And everything, from bread rolls to coffee, tastes really good. By the way, we also had grain bread. Plenty of selection of spreads, fruit, yoghurt etc. The only thing I'm missing are larger water glasses, carbonated water and labels on the products. And the service could be a little more behind when it comes to clearing up. But for 20 euros including drinks, lots of branded products and very fresh rolls, we were very satisfied! 😊 The ambience is also very nice. Visitors can park for free at the Food Hotel a few meters away.

I ordered rump steak medium with seasonal salad. Everyone may have their own idea of ​​seasonal salad, but it wasn't mine. Rump steak is bloody when served. After 5 minutes it came back to the table, still raw! A new rump steak has now been brought. First of all, rump steak 300g was ordered with rind. This rump steak was now medium, but after removing the rind there was still about 100g. The fries were also in the deep fryer for a little too long. Have been there several times, but not recommended this time. Sorry

We've been to the Laubachtsmühle many times in the past and have always enjoyed the rustic ambiance and the delicious food, especially the mouflon meat. The disappointment on our last visit with four of us was all the greater. What happened in the kitchen that afternoon is a mystery to us. Three of the three schnitzel cordon bleu we ordered were brought to the table undercooked. This was not only unappetizing, but simply unacceptable. After we complained and discovered that the schnitzels were inedible, three more schnitzel cordon bleu were brought to us twice, and these were also undercooked and partly raw. Naturally, we lost all appetite. The icing on the cake was the bill: We had to pay for everything except one meal and one drink, which ultimately amounted to €80 for fries and drinks. We find this completely incomprehensible and demonstrates a lack of goodwill. It's a real shame to see how a restaurant we remembered so fondly has deteriorated so much. Whether it's due to a new chef or other circumstances, we can't say. However, the fact is that this visit was a bitter disappointment, and we will probably avoid the Laubachtsmühle in the future. After this experience, we unfortunately no longer recommend the Laubachtsmühle. The quality of the food was poor, and the response to our complaint was disappointing.
