Had our Christmas party there, staff very friendly, food, inedible... had paprika schnitzel with fried potatoes, fried potatoes inedible, had probably been in pure fat for hours, so tough to chew, had nothing to do with fried potatoes, I know much better!! !! Would never go there again!!!!!

The fries had old fat/oil on them. The schnitzel just warmed up.

Even on Saturday evening at the end of the year rally (Christmas parties, etc.) I was able to get a place without a reservation. Reservations are strongly recommended here (use the reservation phone in the morning or afternoon!). The service is very good, polite, courteous and humorous. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the food. When paying, don't forget to tip for the service - bill by card - tip in cash is the best option. I was very happy to be my people's guests in the district garden.

What can I write about a poorly tapped Kölsch on tap that was served with a loveless meal without any whistle, which was served at a dirty table with quick service and was highly praised by a very cheeky attendant at the door??? Only the side salad was good during the entire visit.

Were there for the fourth time. Mega great (!) service. There's no other way to say it. Kind, attentive, quick, always present. (Unfortunately) you don't find something like that very often anymore. Otherwise: good and hearty brewery cuisine. Rump steak on point, schnitzel big and tasty. Drinks (I love Früh Kölsch) are of course also great. Oh, and reservations possible via the website.

I was invited to a wedding reception. The staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, it was also a bit excessive (drew drinks that you hadn't even ordered yet.) The food was good, with some drawbacks. There was a lonely fresh mushroom in my “mushroom cream sauce”. Everything else was tiny, small pieces and couldn't be recognized as mushrooms. The ambience was okay. All in all it was a very nice festival. After all, there were the people and the reason to celebrate.

We were shown to our table, ordered quite quickly and less than 5 minutes later drinks and side dishes of salads arrived. (Both very tasty by the way) After we received the salads, the food arrived about 5 minutes later, something I've never experienced before The staff is super friendly, polite and does a first class job. The ambience is also very, very nice, cozy and generally it is very nicely decorated there. We were there for the first time, we are absolutely thrilled with the food, the location, the staff, so all in all we are just thrilled with the overall package ☺️👍🏻 We'll definitely eat there again 5 stars

We always enjoy coming here, at least once a month (in this case it was September 3rd, 2024)! The food has NEVER disappointed us, tastes delicious and definitely fills you up. Price and performance are right! One minus point goes to the male waiter who asked us to check out. We paid once with a card (smartphone) because we didn't have any cash with us and couldn't leave a tip (in the form of cash because we didn't want it). is taxed unfairly because my net), the person didn't like that and the mood visibly and directly turned 180°. Tipping is not an obligation, but a voluntary act of recognition for the good service and the delicious food (the good cook) and yet in such cases you should not react sickly, but rather be grateful that you visited the restaurant and therefore the workplace accordingly safe, because unfortunately not everyone survived due to Covid. Unfortunately I cannot give this restaurant a good rating. As soon as we entered we were greeted very unfriendly, as if we were unwanted. The service left a lot to be desired - it seemed like the staff had no interest in looking after the guests. We had to wait a long time at reception even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full. Then finally we were given a very rude seat assignment. When I made it clear to this very grumpy employee that a friendly hello was the company's business card, she reacted in a condescending and distant manner. When we decided to leave the restaurant, this terribly unfriendly person said: Yes, go ahead!!!!! In this location you are more of a burden than a guest!!!!! Friendliness and well-being seem to be a foreign word here. An absolute no-go!!!!!!!!

Service was very unfriendly. I held the door open for a lady with crutches. It was immediately pointed out door to the heater. The spit roast was tough. Salad good.

We spontaneously went there for dinner with the boys this evening. Everyone was completely satisfied. Very cozy atmosphere, extremely friendly and courteous service. Food came very quickly and everyone was happy. Portion size, quality and taste great. This was certainly not our last visit

Ich bin von der Qualität des Schnitzels sehr enttäuscht. Ich wollte ein Wiener Schnitzel, es gab aber nur Schnitzel Wiener Art, also Schwein. Das Schnitzel schmeckte wie TK Convenience und die Pfefferrahmsauce schmeckte wie eine billige Fertigsauce, der Beilagensalat schmeckte auch bis auf die Salatblätter wie aus dem Plastikkübel. Und das für ca. 23 € Zu Hause angekommen, hatte ich dieses typische Völlegefühl, wie ein aufgeblähter Magen von Convenience Food, obwohl ich den Teller gar nicht aufgegessen hatte, war mir so unwohl, dass ich 3 Fernet und einen Underberg trinken musste. Da ich grundsätzlich kein Handy mit ins Restaurant nehme, gibt es leider kein Foto. Auf die Ansprache der Reklamation, gab es nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung, im Gegenteil, vollkommen arrogant: Bei uns ist alles frisch gemacht

(Update 2nd visit---> see below, unfortunately a downgrade due to a rude, loud waiter and undercooked chicken, which led to stomach problems.) Nicely decorated restaurant; rustic and clocky. Service was quick but the main course came very late. For just under forty eu, the doneness of my rump steak should be close to what was ordered. Otherwise well seasoned, meat tender and fried potatoes tasty. Bread plate with dips a bit too expensive for almost twelve EU. Three Kölsch, a Cola, bread with dip, rump steak with fried potatoes and a salad with Gouda for just under 75 Eu, a bit overpriced for me. All in all, a solid 3 stars on the way to fourth. 2nd visit Unfortunately our second visit was marred by a very rude, older waiter. First he wanted to give us instructions about the barometer we had brought with us. At the very end he forgot to deduct it from the total bill. Afterwards, unfortunately, he blamed us. When the salad was mixed up, my companion got a new one relatively quickly, and in the end we discovered that the chicken wasn't cooked through. She had gastrointestinal problems for three days in a row. There was nothing wrong with my tagliatelle with scampis.

We were there for the first time and it was very nice. Unfortunately there are relatively few parking spaces available. But in summer you can sit outside nicely, inside there is a great rustic ambience with a stone look. The service was great and the staff friendly. I think 2 toilets are a bit small for so many people. I ordered a mushroom cream schnitzel and it was very tasty. The fries were homemade and the sauce was with fresh mushrooms and didn't taste like it came from a can, but also like it was homemade. I found 19€ a bit expensive, but it was really delicious.

Very tasty food and great service staff who keep the shop under control despite the huge crowds. On top of that, there were a few good tourist tips from the boss. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Reservation is therefore recommended. Due to the many guests, the noise level was unfortunately a bit high. A few acoustic insulation elements could possibly help. Then I also give a full five stars for the ambience.

My sister celebrated her wedding with around 70 guests in the district garden. We had a perfect day thanks to the great team. The quality of the food was excellent. The service team was super attentive and friendly. The guests felt comfortable and all their wishes were completely fulfilled. Absolutely recommended as a wedding location!

Drinks were there within a minute, the salad came straight away and our 5 main courses within 10 minutes. If requested, there are also croquettes or fried potatoes instead of fries. But only early kölsch, not normal pilsner. For this you can bring a complete barrel to the table. The digestion afterwards also comes on its own. Were there for the 4th time and as always we received a very warm welcome. Had the steak again and it was very good. Special requests such as a 750g steak are also possible. Ordered medium and it's perfect for the size. Children are very welcome. Very nice staff. Perfect for families. Ich war dort wegen der Einladung zu einer Weihnachtsfeier. Leicht zu finden mit Google maps, Parkplatz ist relativ großzügig bemessen, aber doch einige Schlaglöcher vorhanden. Aber das macht erstmal nichts. Wir kommen rein und werden herzlich begrüßt und auf unseren reservierten Platz geleitet. Wunderbar beim Eintritt: tolles Ambiente, links ein Blick in die offene Küche, super. Sehr transparent. Im Obergeschoss fanden wir unseren Tisch. Ein imposantes Ambiente. Alte Mauern mit teilweise neu verkleideten Innenwänden, Das Raumklima war gut. Nun zum Service: Schnell, aufmerksam, charmant. Getränke kamen zügig, das Essen war schnell fertig( zeitgleich für den ganzen Tisch). Und die Qualität war ausgezeichnet. Schweinemedaillons mit Pilzsauce habe ich gewählt, Pommes statt Kroketten( die Pommes waren nicht ganz so nach meinem Geschmack, dunkel und nicht ganz kross). Die Medaillons, super gewürzt, auf den Punkt gebraten. Nicht rosa, nicht schwarz, nicht zäh...rundum perfekt. Beilagensalat bestellt, er war super. Das Sellerie war nicht ganz mein Fall, aber passte wunderbar dazu, Dressing war wunderbar ausgewählt. Rundum hab ich nur eigentlich nur gutes aus der Gruppe gehört. Okay, eins vielleicht: Die Bratkartoffeln waren ein wenig zu weich und hatten zu viel Öl aufgenommen... Für mich persönlich war es ein angenehmer Abend. Ach ja...die Preise: ich würde sagen: angemessen und leistungsgerecht! Ich komme wieder dorthin.

Preise sind etwas teuer , geschmacklich aber gut sowie die Ambiente und das Personal. Mir ist jedoch aufgefallen , dass sie keine vegane Küche anbieten , was ich etwas schade gefunden hab.
